It is a great career for anyone, but veterans have some unique advantages.

It says that if you have access to sensitive government data—so whether you work for

data, then you are required to have at least one of the certifications listed for that

position.

Many of these jobs also require a security clearance.

If you have one already, that saves the employer thousands of dollars they do not want to spend

on a new hire.

All you need is the certification.

Employers need to pay more to cyber-security workers who meet these qualifications because

the shortage of qualified professionals is even more acute.
