I make my own animation desk top or what I really want to call it is my animation
Tabletalk because I can put it on top of any table so and I'm gonna show you how
I made it and more after I do that all that spiffy standing and make it and
make me build a building stuff I'm gonna show you how I used it to make my little
sketch up for the animation I'm working on so I wanted to make my own I wanted
to try it out the traditional way of doing it hand by hand
but I ain't got that guat to stand on it so I made my own with the stuff I had in
my house and a few things I went to go buy at Home Depot well I hope you enjoy
the ride stay tuned have fun grab some food get some water drink some water
always plug yes and enjoy see you soon bye bye be safe have fun watching i'ma
go now
traditional animation or classical animation cel animation or hand-drawn
animation is an animation technique where each frame is drawn hand by hand a
frame is an image traditional animation has always been my favorite type of
animation I don't know why but I think it's because of how fluid all everything
looks and how pretty the colors are and come to find out the colors are made
from painting like hand-painted things like from the backgrounds to the trees
from the the the paint on the cell to the animation it's always been beautiful
to me so I wanted to give it a shot and he didn't make the board so Big Bang
boozled I made it
now we're going to be doing the materials one fibre board and base to
plank to prop your board up right and Plexiglas three rotary tool and length
four drill bit for poking holes five Emery files to make things smooth six
glue and paper seven string eight writing utensils and hole puncher 10 K
Flavin chisel twelve melon thirteen rocking a sock small mallet fourteen
pushpin 15 a saw 16 measuring tape and ruler 17 cardboard 18 box cutter 19
cutting pliers 20 double-sided sticky foam tape and binder clips all right
now let's actually get into doing this cuz I'm super excited you've waited long
enough are you ready are you ready to do let's
go to the project then just loop it around the entire thing you're gonna
have your circle now we're gonna cut out that circle get ready the way we cut out
that circles in your journal tool and we're gonna poke holes all throughout
the outline of the big circle of the board it was like a while but it's worth
it if you have a rotary tool we enjoy now the whole Oh continuously
all around blah blah and then drag granny I'm joking all along it all along
all along the little holes you made so a little bit little little cutting out and
eventually oh fuck that's so pretty drag it through drag it drag it through
and then you'll have to yeah eventually it'll cut it all out you'll be just nice
and fine beautiful and it never doing this the whole time the entire time it's
the same method alright look at that just drag it down it'll pop right up
move that for now we'll use that later there's no see yeah I want to be me now
take the board and sand it down to it smooth on both sides so then it's not
jagged and that's your board for now now we're gonna put it on top of the second
one take your prexy grass and outline it the
rectangle in the middle of the rotating circle you see that circle we're gonna
outline all of it so that um we can cut it and cut out our rotating part then
move the Plexiglas to make like a centimetres width of the inside the big
circle and that's gonna be our inlay so we're gonna cut out a square rectangle
we're gonna cut out the inside of it there you go so I'm moving off the way
when I'm gonna use that for now and then outline the whole circle within the
board so now your second board has where everything's gonna be so then take your
plexiglass make an outline horizontal and vertical and then around the sides
of the big circle make a smaller circle so that you you'll have an inlay
for the rotating parts where else it just make the smaller circle I make sure
it doesn't touch the the cut part the outline of the rectangle for that sorta
horizontal and vertical so that um it's not seen when we're spinning and then
cut out yeah cut out the everything within the small circle now we're done
with that so get your glue I use acrylic glue and then put it all over the part
that the part is not the circle and then yes write it out and make it nice and
smooth and I'll put in the second burnout I tested fake cuz I didn't do
this on my bed I gotta blow my bed but we did it we did it strong even it up
and put it together and now we're done now put we're going to the living room
that's what we're gonna put everything to dry put it on the living room floor
and then put boards or something heavy they don't have clamps and then just
leave it there for 24 hours that's a record by the times but I didn't do it
overnight cuz I do own the week all
right the police we put away we're gonna drill
out the smallest rectangle so just do the holy method that they told you
before drag the drill bit across it before the falls out just like that nice
and pretty basil and sand everything down so the edges are all smooth from
the front and the back now with the width of the Plexiglas we're gonna draw
a line yeah we're gonna draw a line so we know where to carve up the inlay so I
had to mark it off so I use your chisels you can use a mallet or you can use a
rock in a sock roll it all together and have like a more precise mallet I love
that thing I use that to do it now we're gonna make our stop cuts for we're
worried about the channel just do it all around the outline and then this is
Firebird yeah this is fiberboard so it's really soft so now we're just gonna
chisel it through there you go chiseling because the stop cuts we made the cut
and I was just pushing so it should pop off nice and easy and it is soft so we
just walked out on that one yeah keep going continuously until it's like of
the length you want and chisel out yeah be careful your hands we're doing this
they don't actually get your children chisel the edges so it's nice and smooth
and then use a little and look like a nail father on their fault but you know
follow it down and that's what's supposed to look like all together
filed on the edges so it's nice and smooth let's go back to the living room
and we're gonna put all our pieces together look put your flex and s in
there see how nice and fit to take it off and now we're going to glue all the
stuff together take off the plastic place it in gently so everything fits
nice and pretty uh-huh uh-huh that you go girl yeah now
take off the excess glue with your heads and David go that's what it looks like
leave it dry for 24 hours or overnight that's right it puts that heavy on it
because if I don't have class I'm liking music and we're good leave it
not bad for a big board we're gonna make out the outline and cut off a smaller
circle using the drill message same as before to drag it through
we're gonna move you don't need it then drill off see it I mean send off the
inside so everything's nice and smooth and that's what it will look like the
next step it is we have to cut off from that boy little like us like a
centimeter in and then like an inch up so then it sits it in the base when we
lift it up you can use the saw whatever you have a chisel
gonna work for you that are on both sides so when we do put it to stand
it'll be nice and pretty instead and now we're gonna go back to look at girls Moo
Garcia and expect our Beauty to put all your pieces together and look at that
magic look at that second of this turn it turn it
yes we did good we do wonderful and now we're gonna mix in their whole so when
we turn it it'll be easy instead of doing that outline and put it through
the middle so girl where you want your circles to be and we put your circle
enjoy and make sure it doesn't touch the out of the in lace when you poke your
fingers boo you ain't like hitting the board now that's what we're gonna use to
soften it up through the whole pokey method the same time and then you really
really nicely pretty drilling through now we're gonna use like we're gonna use
the emery board stick thing I know it's called and we're gonna do this the whole
time to make a smooth so smooth and then of these we're gonna file it down a
little more and finger it a little so you can make sure there's no cut or hard
force like thank white time now use the width of a pin to find out how big you
want your crack see you want to come pin martyr be use an exacto knife to cut it
out once you outline and figure it out and that's it we have our base for get
pieces of paper let me put like classifying so I stick
together and now we're gonna hole punch it so we find out figure out the
placement of where our pegs are gonna be hole punchi punchi
yep and now we take off use one sheet and then take pins and poke it in the in
the middle of those holes so we figure out where the placements gonna be and
there we go we have it now put them back in and you see the holes but first we're
gonna have to cut off I'm let go the width of the the cardboard so that we
would poke those pegs food they don't poke over outside of the cardboard
follow it down so it's not as sharp because it will be sharp
be careful and yeah there you go just stick it on and see how well
six I got proud of this once I figured this out I was so happy yeah we've done
good so far very good now put the placement see how
well it fits though that's what we have to UM sandwich everything together take
some blue poke it through I hate this glue because it's dry and it's just sure
I struggle with this glue and then press it down to make sure it sticks nice and
well dry let it dry until it dries and then use an exacto knife and like clean
it up on the sides I just used a lot just in case and there you go that's
your big bar now for the fun part yes we're gonna put all the pieces
together get your back piece that sticks up so everything sits properly the
border - fixed and pretty that's nice and cut and we're gonna put it together
now it hasn't a cut at the top so that it sits very nicely together I was so
fortunate for this to happen you see it's barricaded by that sit so well it's
perfect it does not move it's been up for like two weeks and does not move now
put your rotating piece look how beautiful that is
yes see what the holes we're spinning it ass proud so proud I'm so proud now
we're gonna stick the back of that piece so that it doesn't fall out when we pull
the border hey you know sticky really the sticky business hit clamp it on
press it in and now we just move it see I don't want it it's the same exact that
listen just a demonstration so I'm just gonna pull it forward and make sure I
see it's fits nice and pretty now the peg part we're gonna put on the
sticky tape stick it on the board and we're done real I just put it all along
through it take it off for those two our demonstrations but the top right there
don't see what it really looks like and I'm happy now pencil we're gonna make a
pencil holder so take your cardboard cut a little bit of pieces on it like a
little triangle but just wiggle one lip is hired be careful you do that because
don't cut yourself zenthon it away from you be careful that
does look scary take it out and now tape all the pieces together so it sticks
you're attacked enough pretty it's nothing pretty but hey put it all
together see this is how um your pencils will fit and now we're gonna put a
little dot in there and all the dots and cut out all the shapes where you put the
dots so you can stick what you want to stick in there the combos pets yes now
put tape on the back sticky tape and find your placement put it in press it
in so it's nice and sexy and we made it it's really simple to make and it was so
fun because it actually came to life I don't really problems that's one of the
things I'm most proud of I still use out together
yes I love that little thing that we made i frickin adore it absolutely boom
now yes we put our boards together we put our mirror for facial expressions
and we put out an app so we can see them we're ready yes yes yes yes and that's
our board our beautiful baby board and we did who he made it we made it and
because I did the board I'm gonna have to show you how I used it because I
don't be weird not to actually show you it's like it's like a chef cooking but
not eating their tasting the food it's weird so now I'm going to show you how
the animation that I'm working on and my little recipe and how it's doing here is
me showing up my little table putting up two of my little character drawings the
movement of the hands are being done right now and zoom in feet real quick
flip flip all throughout flip flip just to make sure everything's fine and here
a seat drawn so we can make the lines more solid rotating look at rotation oh
yes clean up your joint see flippy-flippy the hands sit well when
they're in the motion turn on you light we're matching them up make sure
everything's nice and pretty and all throughout the drawing I turned on the
light to match it up just to make sure everything's okay
see how the hands are in behind in front behind in front flip flip flip flip you
see the motion you see the love all love I'll give it into the side see
now onto the next frame where the hands are folded on the little table and then
we're matching up the elbows we turn on the light we're cleaning it up making
sure everything matches and everything's well and sits properly lining up the
face and there we go see all together all the hands are going down equally and
a little skirt and any join between this buddy flip it it flew live it a fluke
look at that yes yes I'm doing something right because this is looking good here
we are checking our work make sure everything's nice and pretty
takes a while but it's very very fun I like making my little dreams come to
life it feels good and now here's a little preview of a little animation I
was working on okay I hope you enjoy I work my took us off with this little
piece of baby I see you again oh look at my baby coming to life so cute adorable

worked out pretty well and yeah have a great day I hope you enjoyed like
subscribe comment I'd like to talk if you need to figure out how you do it if
you have any tips and tricks or animating things tell me leave it in the
comments we'll learn together yeah there you go
hugs are awesome yeah hey I bye be safe I hope you enjoyed remember little bit
