I get asked a lot of

questions what is an elevator drive.

Specifically where does KEB fit in in an

elevator controller. So today we're in a

machine room in an office building just

outside of Minneapolis and I thought I

would do a tour and show you basically

where we fit in. Let's take a look.

So it really

starts with the machine the elevator

motor. This is what's controlling the cab -

the people inside. Where KEB fits in, if we

open up this controller. This is an MCE

controller, an iControl, basically the

KEB product is power electronics that

run the motor very smoothly very safely

in this case, it is an F5 drive that's

running the motor there's also an R6

line regen unit installed in this

application so the line regen unit

allows current to flow back on to the

building power in cases where the

elevator is regenerating energy. KEB has

a long experience in the elevator

application so we first began in the

industry in the 80s and today have over

100,000 drives installed. We do only AC

motor types both induction and permanent

magnet motors so a little bit of a

distinction from other other companies

Did Jesus Make The Apostles Priests? - Duration: 2:31.

Most Catholics are aware that Holy Thursday

commemorates Jesus' Last Supper as the First Mass.

But what some miss is that Holy

Thursday also celebrates Jesus'

institution of the ministerial priesthood.

But when you read the Last Supper narratives in

the Synoptic Gospels, you don't find Jesus

ordaining the apostles.

You're left wondering, "Where does the

Catholic Church get off thinking that Jesus

made the apostles priests at the Last Supper?"

There are three clues that support this claim.

First, Jesus commands the apostles to "do

this remembrance of me."

The Greek verb for "do," poieo, can be

translated literally as "offer" in the

sense of offering a sacrifice, as it is in

Leviticus 9:7 of the Septuagint (the Greek

translation of the Old Testament).

Now, offering sacrifice is a priestly function.

Therefore, Jesus' command to offer the Last

Supper as a sacrifice suggests that Jesus

made his apostles ministerial priests.

A second clue is the washing of the

apostles' feet in John 13:5.

This calls to mind the ritual washings of

Aaron and his sons, which included the washing

of their feet, at their priestly ordination in Exodus 40.

Finally, Jesus says in John 13:8 that the

apostles could not take "part" in him

unless they were washed.

The Greek word for "part," meros, echoes

Numbers 18:20 and Deuteronomy 10:9, which

refer to the "portion" (Greek—meris)

that Aaron and the Levites have in God as priests.

So, did Jesus make the apostles

priests at the Last Supper?

I think these exegetical points give us

sufficient reason to answer yes.

1.Take the Taste Test

You don't need to be an oil expert to know whether or not you are being conned.

Anyone can conduct their own DIY tests.

First, just taste it.

It should be that simple, but so much fake olive oil has flooded the market that it's

often difficult even for the experts to spot.

Food experts have conducted taste tests of olive oils across the spectrum and still weren't

100 percent correct.

The Refrigerator Test

Place your olive oil in the fridge.

If it's pure, the monounsaturated fats will become cloudy in cold temperatures.

Some may even form a solid.

If after 2 hours in the cold, it hasn't changed in texture, it's not pure.

The manufacturers are aware of this trick.

So they mix just enough canola oil to sneak past the cold test.

So there's still some uncertainty.

The Fool-Proof Test

The problem with the first two tests is that you have to purchase them before you can conduct

your experiment.

So is there a way to determine if you are buying real olive oil?

The best advice is to buy it from the right place.

Make a trip to the local farmer's market.

Or locate a single producer of home-grown oil.

Here are some things to watch for that may indicate the olive oil isn't pure.

Select dark bottles, as they keep oil from oxidizing.

Clear glass and especially plastic are dead giveaways that it's not pure.

Look for the approval seal from the International Olive Oil Council.

Avoid light olive oil.

Pure olive oil will be in bottles with a harvesting date seal notification.

Only purchase cold-pressed olive oil; fake ones add chemicals and are heated.

Pay attention to the price.

If's it is a bargain basement price, then it's basically vegetable oil.

PokéOrigins: What is Decidueye? - Duration: 3:24.

One of my favorite Alolan Pokemon is Decidueye, but why is it a Ghost type?

Just by looking at them, Rowlet, Dartrix, and Decidueye are all owls.

But what purpose does the ghost typing serve.

It could be a slilt owl an extinct species that's native to Hawaii or it could be a Pueo,

an endangered, subspecies of the short-eared owl that is endemic to Hawaii.

Hmm...is that why Decidueye's a ghost type because it could either be an extinct or endangered

owl?

Wait a minute there's got to more to it than that.

Getting back to the Pueo owl its also one of the more famous of the various physical

forms assumed by ʻaumākua in Hawaiian culture.

In Hawaiian mythology, an ʻaumakua is a family god, often a deified ancestor.

An ʻaumakua is a being of both a heavenly and an earthly nature.

Its basically an ancestor that has died and has come back in a different form.

This spirit usually communicates with, helps, inspires, and guides members of the family.

They are known to take on the forms of animals, plants, and other natural phenomena.

The relationship between man and ʻAumakua is a mutual one.

That is to say, there is an exchange between the two, where something is given, or owed,

to each other.

The family is to worship and to feed the ʻAumakua, and to behave in a way that will not anger

the the spirit.

In exchange the role of the ʻAumakua is that of a guardian.

The guardian spirit helps in times of trouble and gives inspiration or strength in times

of need.

ʻAumākua communicate with people in different ways, they can appear in dreams, they can

speak directly to their relatives and they can appear as a sign or omen to convey meaning

for the family.

The family was responsible for feeding the ʻaumākua.

This was accomplished through prayer and offerings of sacrifices.

Many different things were offered to the deified ancestor: pigs, chickens, dogs, fish,

and young kalo leaves.

In caring for an ʻaumakua, a family must not eat or harm the animal form their ʻaumakua

takes.

If the ʻaumakua has an owl form for instance, the family must not eat or harm owls.

This shows respect for the ʻaumakua.

Now that's more like it Decidueye is some stoic ancestor returning from the grave to

protect you.

Is it Really Important to Build a Database List? - Duration: 6:08.

Hi! I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video.

And today the question I pose to you is it really important to grow a database list? I'm telling you yes, yes, yes. It is really important.

And I find that a lot of business people that I talk to aren't building a database

around their business and I say to them, "Do you have a database list?" and they go, "Oh yeah I've got so many likes on Facebook, I've got so many Friends."

That's not your database list. That is not what I'm talking about here.

I am talking about a supply of email addresses of people who want to hear from you;

who are genuinely interested in what you have to say.

Now, I want to cover off on three things today. Firstly, you do not own social media.

So at any point, as ghastly as this might sound, Facebook could stop tomorrow.

It could be shut down and gone and we know that there's been other social media platforms

that have come and gone and if you're relying on only contacting the people around you or your prospective

customers or your current clients, I'm telling you social media is a great way to communicate in some areas

but if that is the only way you're communicating, that is not good for the longevity of your business.

You do not own those platforms.

Make sure that you use those platforms to connect in a way and then ask them to join your mailing list.

And if these people from there want to know more about you, they will be happy to subscribe to you

as long as you're sending them great information and not spamming them.

So use the Facebook or other social platforms to get them into your email database list.

Secondly, the way you do that you can get to more people.

You can talk to these people on a more direct level.

So when they're on your database they really want to hear your message.

They really want to receive help from you in whatever format that might be.

You can really talk to them in a one-on-one conversation,

but to many people and you can really then share what you do in your business.

They may have come to you to talk about one service you offer or one product

you offer but then you can let them know about other products and services you do offer and they will be interested to hear about that from you.

So using that database, you can talk to them on a more direct level and give them the information they require.

Thirdly, it is a tangible asset in your business.

Now you hear of businesses selling all of the time never made any money but they have a huge database

of information of people and other businesses come and buy them out.

You hear on the television all the time where online businesses particularly selling for billions of dollars and they haven't made any money.

That's because they are looking for this customer information.

You go, "Yes I'm not some major online business. I'm just little old me", that doesn't matter.

You will hear it in your environment where they go, "So and so sold their business for a motzer,

these people approach them and wanted to buy their business."

They buy the businesses for one, the systems which I love and it's a whole other video but secondly, around their database.

Is it cleansed? Is the information in there correct? Are you communicating with them on a regular basis?

If you are then when you're ready to sell your business and I'll ask you, put up your hand if your business is for sale.

Yes it is, every business should be for sale and you are going to sell your business at some point.

You are going to sell it because one, you want to retire.

Two, you want a change of lifestyle or a change of direction or three,

you become unwell very quickly and you can no longer operate the business.

There's a myriad of reasons. You will sell your business at one point.

You don't just want to close it up and just go, "Look, it's worth nothing.

The desk, the chairs, the computer is worth nothing to a prospective purchaser."

But if you go to a prospective purchaser and say, "Here's my database of x amount of people.

I communicate to them regularly, the data is cleansed,

it is clean, it is up to date. Do you want to buy this from me?" And I'm sure they will.

So there are the three things that I wanted to discuss with you today.

One, you do not own social media. Use it to connect with people and then move them into your database.

When you have them there in your database,

make sure that you're talking to them on a very intimate level, a very direct level and letting them know the services and products you offer.

And thirdly, build your tangible asset.

It is the saleable part of your business and you will be selling your business in the very near future.

Apple Cider Vinegar: for Face - Duration: 4:09.

The health benefits of using apple cider vinegar on the face and skin and some instructions

to do this yourself at home.

Apple cider vinegar is made from distilled apples and has been used in ancient remedies

for thousands of years.

Regular skin care products often contain alcohol and other harmful chemicals which can cause

dryness and skin irritation.

However, apple cider vinegar is a natural solution and works as a natural toner.

Many people use this to clear up pimples and blemishes on the skin.

This works because the vinegar contains malic acid, which is a natural antibacterial antiviral

and antifungal solution.

This prevents new pimples from forming, and gets rid of existing problems such as eczema,

acne and candida overgrowth.

Age spots are also a problem for many people, and can make you feel very self-conscious.

Simply dabbing today's remedy on these spots each day will gently remove the top layer

or skin, as new healthy skin cells become visible.

This reduces age spots within 6 weeks, due to the alpha hydroxyl acids inside.

Mix the spring water and apple cider vinegar in a small bottle and shake well.

Dip your cotton wool pads in this solution and clean the entire face by rubbing in circular

motions.

Try not to get this in your eyes, as it may sting a little.

This can also be used on the arms, neck and anywhere on the skin.

Make sure that the apple cider vinegar you use, is raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar,

for this contains the natural acids which can cure your skin problems.

The very best apple cider vinegar is always cloudy.

These contain thick protein and bacteria strands which are extremely healthy for your skin.

If you wish you can use a gentle moisturiser afterwards.

Such as a few drops of castor oil to further rejuvenate the skin.

This mixture can also be dabbed on sunburns to take the edge off the pain.

This also helps to heal the skin.

It has also been used to treat mosquito and bug bites, as the natural acid takes away

the pain from the stinging sensation, and brings down inflammation.

If you have large pores, you may also notice them becoming tighter and less visible, especially

around the nose area.

You can use this every single day if you wish, but may need to use a moisturiser after each

wash if you would like to use this long term.
