them as well. There's someone we'd like to mention today. it's the first time to mention him specifically.

Our CEO, Producer Bang Sihyuk, Hitman Bang. we got noting when we were trainees, he supported us

Materially and emotionally from the studio, a practice room, to a dorm and believed in our potential.

Also in 2014, when we were nobody, he said, "I considered you as at least a daesang artists before debut, you can be the best artists. I believe in you."

When we left his studio, we laughed a lot. "Perhaps PD nim is having a had time."

People around him also tried to stop him thinking a successful composer is about to en his career here.

We'd like to attribute the biggest glory to Producer Bang Sihyuk who believed in us and loved us when we were nobody.

PD nim we love and respect you, and we will continue to walk with you.

Thank you and I love you.

Jimin: Army~~!

Thank you.

As we spent this year, we could have some difficult times.

*uwu not u too;-;*

Jimin: As we experienced them, we gathered and talked to reflect our days.

and we learned that there are so many people on our side. We thought when did we gain this many people next to us.

As we thought about these,

although it's been difficult, we could have strengths and be happy.

To you we really wanted to say thank you. Also we really wanted to receive this award on stage again.

as we always say, the pride you feel from us is our pride. Next year, we will show you a better performance and will repay you with this award again.

Thank you and I love you!

*Oh fuck not again ;-;*

Taehyung: First, our members' fathers and mothers who are watching the show, thank you so much.

*AHHHHH WHERE MARI WHEN I NEED HER ;-;*

This award, we....

Can't believe that we can receive this award.

We will be proud artists who deserve this award. every end of the year, you give us great awards,

even if i can be born again,

armys will be a precious gift to me.

Thank you so much and I love you so much.

thank you.

Yoongi: Thank you Armys.

So happy to receive this Artist of the Year.

Army's who always look after us, we will consider it as a gift you give us and will work harder.

we'd like to say thank you to our families who gave birth to our 7 brothers. 2018 was the happiest year that we wondered if we could be this happy.

we will make 2019 a cooler and happier year. Thank you.

Seokjin; Army~

*Grab more tissues... trust me.*

ah~ I recall earlier this year.

we really had emotionally hard times early this year. Therefore, we gathered and thought really about disbanding or not.

However, we made our minds up and decided not to and so we could bring a great performance because of this, so im very glad.

*;-; im literally heart broken...*

I truly appreciate our members who made their minds up, and i'd like to say thank you to our members, no, Armys who always love us. Thank you.

*Namjoon is a sadist confirmed*

*Ending note: please always give love and support to our boys. they really do deserve it for always putting us before themselves.*

*Also im really sorry this is so late ;-; sickiness, then vacation, then rain and mudslides... im pretty sure the universe did not want me to make yall sad with this video lol*

*Yall can ignore these ending credits it, i made the video and uploaded before December 24th (but didnt sub it until Dec 31st lol) but went on holiday and yeah the world hates me xDD*

Halsey's Age & Height: How Old & Tall Is She? | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:32.

Halsey's Age & Height: How Old & Tall Is She? | Heavy.com

H alsey has taken the music industry by storm as an international celebrity and radio presence.

The American singer got his start sharing covers of pop hits on YouTube and quickly rose to fame with successful singles, albums, and tours.

Tonight she will join the likes of Shawn Mendes and Post Malone as a performer on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Despite her enormous pop success, Halsey is only 24 years old.

According to Famous Birthdays, she was born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane on September 29, 1994.

Her stage name is both an anagram of her first name Ashley and a reference to the Halsey Street station of the New York City Subway in Brooklyn.

She released her debut album Badlands at age 21, which went on to be certified platinum on the strength of the singles "Ghost" and "New Americana.".

Halsey Is 24 and Her Height Is 5'4″ Which Is a Full Foot Shorter Than Her Ex G-Eazy.

     .

CelebHeights.com says that Halsey is 5'4″.

The singer confirmed this on Twitter when a fan asked her height and she responded: "I'm 5'4" and Gerald is 6'4" and our legs are the same length.

Missing: My Torso." The Gerald in question is rapper G-Eazy, whom she dated between 2017 and 2018.

The photo above shows the sizable difference in height between them.

CompareCeleb lists Halsey's weight as 54 kg or 119 lb.

The singer has been open about her health struggles with endometriosis, which causes tissue that looks and acts like the lining of the uterus to grow outside of the uterus in other areas.

These areas can be called growths, tumors, implants, lesions, or nodules.

Halsey Weighs An Estimated 119 Ib & Suffers From a Condition Known As Endometriosis.

   .

"Today I braved multiple terrifying surgeries," she wrote on Instagram on January 6, 2017.

"The most important of which being the surgery that would hopefully treat my endometriosis.

For those of you who have followed this battle of mine or who may suffer with it yourself, you know the extremes to which it can be mentally exhausting and physically painful.".

"I'm in total agony," she added.

"But in my recovery I am thinking of all of you and how you give me the strength and stamina to power through and prosper.

If you suffer from chronic pain or a debilitating disease please know that I have found time to live a crazy, wild, rewarding life AND balance my treatment and I hope so much in my heart that you can too.".

     .

Halsey will be a featured performer during the live televised Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest, which airs tonight, December 31, from 8pm to 2am ET.

Her newest singles and most popular songs include "Bad at Love," which peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Without Me", which peaked at number two and remains her biggest hit as a solo artist.

It's very likely that she will choose to sing one of those two for her performance.

AAP New Recommendations for Car Seat Safety! 👋 Nursing Vlog - Duration: 3:29.

So, I woke up this morning to a phone full of messages

about of the new recommendations for car seats from the American Academy of Pediatrics

Now, normally I would stay curled up in bed

because I was on call last night but I have a three-and-a-half-year-old nephew that I

love dearly

So, I had to address this change.

So, for as long as I've known anything about car seats

the recommendation was once the baby leaves the hospital

they stay rear facing in the car seat until they hit their "Terrific Twos."

However

The American Academy of Pediatrics has new recommendations.

And though it's not as easy as

"Happy second birthday, now you can glare at me through my rear view mirror."

It is kinda sorta simple.

The basics of it is this:

The car seats that you have, have height and weight limits.

It is of utmost importance that you know what these are

because these are your new milestones for transitioning from one position to the next.

So, this is one of those times where you want to be sure to RTFM.

Read the *bleep* manual.

So, starting with the rear facing okay

the one you're bringing baby home from my hospital in.

You typically, got two options.

You got the infant bucket seat or the convertible seat.

The infant bucket seat is convenient because you can take baby out of the car

and carry them around with you, while they're still in the seat.

However, they will most likely outgrow that before they are eligible to face forward

and gain that expert marksman-like aim when they're throwing *bleep* at you.

So, you're gonna have to buy another car seat, while they're still rear facing.

The convertible seats that you bring baby home and stay in the car

and the beauty of these are

they transition to the front facing car seat

without having to buy a whole 'nother car seat

once they hit that milestone

which is no longer two years old

but when they exceed the height weight limit of that car seat.

Are you still with me?

Either option you choose, is up to you okay?

Moving on.

Then your little bam-bam keeps growing.

Okay, they don't stop.

I shouldn't say bam-bam I should really say bamboo, because they grow so fast.

Feels like just the other day, I was tripping over my nephew

and now he's like three and a half, and he's dunking on me.

So now they've exceeded the height and weight limits of the forward facing and seat

it's recommended that they now transition to a belt positioning booster seat.

Which should have a high back for the safest protection.

Until they're too tall for that.

Once they're too tall for that.

If they're anywhere between 8 and 12 and over four foot nine inches tall

then they can sit properly in the backseat on their own.

So, what is proper?

Okay proper is when the seat part of the belt is lying across the upper thighs,

and the shoulder strap that comes down in across the chest

and not the neck or the belly.

With their knees bent at the front of the seat.

No facing forward like that they're still too small.

If they don't meet those requirements.

It's recommended that they stay in a booster seat until they can,

doesn't matter how old they are.

People, please.

Understand that for kids 1 through 13 the leading cause of death

is car crashes.

I mean think about the fragility of their neck and their spine

and the their big ol' heads moving around.

I can't stress it enough that you choose the right car seat and install it correctly.

Because I know you all care about your little ones,

just as much as I do my nephew.

Oh, snap!

Gotta get to work!

Premier League clubs eye up January move for Tammy Abraham - Duration: 2:49.

Tammy Abraham's loan spell at Aston Villa is in danger of being cut short with four Premier League clubs keen on landing the Chelsea striker in the January transfer window

Wolves, Huddersfield, Burnley and Crystal Palace are all interested in landing Abraham, who has scored 14 goals in all competitions for Villa this season, on loan

Abraham had successful loan spells at Bristol City and Swansea before heading for Villa last summer

Wigan will attempt to sign Tyler Blackett from Reading when the January transfer market opens

Blackett is in demand having performed well during a difficult first half of the season for his club until his progress was halted by a red card at Millwall on Boxing Day

Stoke and Middlesbrough have also declared an interest in the 24-year-old former Manchester United defender who had loan spells at Blackpool, Birmingham and Celtic before joining the Royals in 2016

Blackett can play as a centre-half or left-back and Wigan are thought to be preparing a bid of around £400,000 in the hope of taking advantage of the recent upheaval at the Madejski Stadium

Reading's chief executive Ron Gourlay departed in November and was soon followed by manager Paul Clement and his coaching staff

Portuguese coach Jose Manuel Gomes was confirmed as Clement's permanent successor before Christmas

Gomes is expected to use the January market to impose his own style on the team which is languishing 23rd in the Championship at the turn of the year, and have won only four of their opening 25 games

Is Leslie Jones Married? Does She Have a Husband? | Heavy.com

Leslie Jones is one of the biggest names in comedy, making a weekly appearance on our television screens for SNL.

With all that time in the spotlight, people have grown curious about Jones' personal life.

Is she married? Single? In a relationship? And is she straight?.

Our records indicate that Jones is single, straight, and finds dating to be difficult.

In a post from January 30, 2018, Jones uploaded a picture from the gym, writing, "Ok back to cardio.

But confession I feel like I'm doing it for nothing.

I know it not I'm healthy and look good but I really feel like "what's it all for" if the people you want to notice don't.

I just feel like I might die alone.

Sorry that's pretty heavy today!!".

Luckily, Jones fans are very supportive of her, and she received a number of positive comments on the post.

One user wrote, "Leslie.

I'm a minister + I can tell you that everyone dies alone.

Be healthy for you.

Don't give so much power to men or objects of desire.

Be your own romance.

Get your own power back.

I'm rooting for you." Another commented, "Thank you for sharing this and being real.

You're letting tons of people see that we ALL have the same recurring thoughts and issues.

That aside, you're a goddess and an inspiration! ".

Jones also brought up her dating life while being interviewed on Conan O'Brien last year.

She told O'Brien, "I kind of am seeing someone, but, like, it's a secret so I don't want everybody bothering him." A few weeks later, Jones took to Twitter to write there was no secret boyfriend.

"Just so everyone knows.

There was never a secret boyfriend.

I have terrible luck with men.

Real talk. They do not like me lol!!".

She also joked to O'Brien that if she were gay, she'd be very busy.

"If I was gay I'd be crushing bro.

I would have so many women," Jones said on the Conan late night talk show.

"I would be a pimp, I ain't gonna lie.

If I was gay I'd be the worst lesbian ever.".

She went on to say that her co-star, Kate McKinnon, always says that if she were gay she would be "so" busy.

"It's a nice compliment!" Jones joked.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Here in India, people are on tenterhooks

as the country gears up for next year's general elections

when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be seeking

a second five-year term.

Predicting the outcome of Indian elections

is notoriously difficult, given the country's diversity.

But Indians are united in the hope

that they will retain their place as the world's fastest

growing large economy and create more of the millions of jobs

so desperately needed.

What is likely to happen in Italy in 2019?

Well, at the moment, all eyes are on the spat between

the Italian government and Brussels over Rome;s spending

plans, which have also alarmed financial markets.

I think these concerns are likely to fade

somewhat going into the start of 2019

and then potentially reemerge in the build up

to the campaign for the European elections.

These elections are being targeted

by Matthias Albany, the Interior Minister and leader

of the league party, as a way of boosting his political momentum

on a national level

Mexico kicks off 2019 with a brand new president--

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

He's promised sweeping change.

The big hope is that he actually delivers, especially

on reducing corruption and impunity.

Turkey is home to a million school-age Syrian refugee

children.

And the country hopes to get a long way next year

towards its aim of getting all of them

into the mainstream Turkish education system.

Here in Moscow, the big hope for 2019

would be some kind of easing of tensions between Russia

and the West that have led to four

and a half years worth of sanctions against Moscow.

In a perfect world, that would involve the conclusion

of investigations in Washington, proving

there was no collusion between President Donald Trump's

campaign and the Russians.

If sanctions were eased.

That could mean foreign investors come back

to Russia and trade increases, helping prop up the ruble

and increasing the Russian stock market.

In a region that's always busy with news,

2019 is expected to be even more so.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

has found himself embroiled in a series of overlapping

investigations.

Now both he and the country are waiting

to see if Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit will

accept police recommendations.

Secondly, both Israelis and Palestinians

are waiting to see whether or not US President Donald

Trump will finally unveil his long promised

deal of the century.

It was a promise by the White House

to bring Israelis and Palestinians back

to the negotiating table.

Here in the Nordic-Baltic region,

2019 will be a year of elections.

There are votes in Estonia, Finland, and Denmark

with the possibility of new elections in Sweden.

The hope will be that forming a viable government is possible.

And for that, it will be crucial to see

how much populist parties gain.

Hong Kong sits on the front line of

a nascent political and economic battle between Xi Jinping's

China and the West.

My greatest hope is that the US and China eventually

learn to live with the profound differences between them

and perhaps the Communist Party learns

that by taking a softer line, it might also give itself

more breathing space.

Song For The New Year [Visual Poetry] - Duration: 1:15.

Old Time has turned another page Of eternity and truth;

He reads with a warning voice to age, And whispers a lesson to youth.

A year has fled o'er heart and head Since last the yule log burnt;

And we have a task to closely ask, What the bosom and brain have learnt?

Oh! let us hope that our sands have run With wisdom's precious grains;

Oh! may we find that our hands have done Some work of glorious pains.

Then a welcome and cheer to the merry new year,

While the holly gleams above us; With a pardon for the foes who hate,

And a prayer for those who love us.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE

NEW PENALTIES WHEN YOU REACH FOR

PLUS THE LIVES LIVED AND LOST IN

2018.

THIS IS "THE NATIONAL."

(*)

>>> WE ARE JUST HOURS AWAY FROM

2019 AND PEOPLE ACROSS THE

COUNTRY

HAVE A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION IN

MIND FOR CANADIANS.

IF YOU'RE STILL IN THE HABIT OF

REACHING FOR YOUR PHONES WHILE

BEHIND THE WHEEL, GIVE IT UP OR

FACE THE CONSEQUENCES.

AS OLIVIA STEFANOVICH EXPLAINS,

DRIVERS HAD BETTER START PAYING

ATTENTION IF THEY WANT TO STAY

ON THE ROAD.

>> JUST DRIVE UP AND DOWN THE

SHOULDER HERE...

>> Reporter: ON CANADA'S

BUSIEST HIGHWAY IT DOESN'T TAKE

LONG FOR ONTARIO PROVINCIAL

POLICE SERGEANT CARY SCHMIDT TO

SPOT A DISTRACTED DRIVER.

>> HOW ARE YOU DOING?

YOU KNOW WHY I'M STOPPING YOU?

>> PROBABLY BECAUSE I HAD MY

PHONE.

>> PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU HAD YOUR

PHONE.

>> Reporter: AND THE EXCUSE?

>> I HAD A CALL FROM WORK AND

THEY HAD A

QUESTION AND I TOOK THE CALL.

>> Reporter: IT'S A REFLEX

THAT ONTARIO IS TRYING TO PUT

THE BRAKES ON.

STARTING TOMORROW DRIVERS CAUGHT

TALKING, TEXTING, DIALLING OR

LOOKING UP DIRECTIONS ON THEIR

HANDHELD DEVICES WILL BE FINED

UP TO $1,000.

AND THEY WILL RECEIVE THREE

DEMERIT POINTS AND LOSE THEIR

LICENCE FOR THREE DAYS.

IF THEY'RE CAUGHT AGAIN IT WILL

COST THEM $2,000.

A THIRD TIME?

$3,000.

THEY'RE THE TOUGHEST PENALTIES

FOR REPEAT DISTRACTED DRIVERS IN

THE COUNTRY.

IT'S ENOUGH TO MAKE THIS DRIVER

CHANGE HIS BEHAVIOUR.

THIS WILL MAKE YOU THINK TWICE?

>> THIS WILL MAKE ME THINK THREE

TIMES, ACTUALLY.

>> Reporter: DISTRACTED

DRIVING HAS BEEN A LEADING CAUSE

OF DEATH ON ONTARIO ROADS FOR

THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

CLAIMING 83 LIVES IN 2018.

>> IT'S ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING

AND FRUSTRATING.

>> Reporter: BUT SOME FEEL

THAT THE NEW LAWS DON'T GO FAR

ENOUGH.

THIS LEGAL EXPERT IS PUSHING FOR

A PRIVATE MEMBER'S BILL IN THE

ONTARIO LEGISLATURE THAT WOULD

FORCE OFFENDERS TO TAKE

MANDATORY DRIVING COURSES AND

PERFORM COMMUNITY SERVICE.

>> IT'S A MEANINGFUL PENALTY SO

THAT YOU HAVE A REAL DETERRENT

OUT THERE.

>> Reporter: OTHERS WANT TO

SEE A BROADER EDUCATIONAL

CAMPAIGN TO CONVINCE PEOPLE JUST

HOW DANGEROUS DISTRACTED DRIVING

IS.

>> HELPING PEOPLE TO RECOGNIZE

THAT WOULD BE AN IMPORTANT STEP

FORWARD.

>> Reporter: SCHMIDT AGREES.

>> WE NEED EVERYONE TO REALLY

STEP UP AND TO MAKE THIS

SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

>> Reporter: HE SAYS THAT

POLICE CAN'T KICK IT INTO

COMPLIANCE BUT STARTING TOMORROW

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY'LL DO.

OLIVIA STEFANOVICH, CBC NEWS,

TORONTO.

>> Rosemary: OF COURSE

DISTRACTED DRIVING IS NOT JUST

AN ONTARIO ISSUE, IT'S A

NATIONAL ONE AND ALMOST EVERY

PROVINCE OR TERRITORY HAS SOME

FORM OF LAW LIMITING THE USE OF

CELLPHONES.

MANY OF THEM, IN FACT, WERE JUST

TOUGHENED UP THIS YEAR.

ACCORDING TO C.A.A., DRIVERS

WILL BE DOCKED BETWEEN THREE AND

SIX DEMERIT POINTS FOR EACH

CONVICTION.

THE FINES RUN FROM A MINIMUM OF

$173 IN NEW BRUNSWICK AS OLIVIA

MENTIONED THERE UP TO $3,000 FOR

A REPEATED OFFENSE IN ONTARIO.

THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS NUNAVUT

WHERE THERE'S NO DISTRACTED

DRIVING LAW, YET ANYWAY.

AND OTTAWA WILL ALSO BE HOSTING

IN A WHOLE

HOST OF TAX CHANGES TOMORROW

AFFECTING CANADIANS AND

BUSINESSES.

CANADA'S PENSION PLAN WILL START

TO COST A LITTLE MORE THIS YEAR.

ITS CONTRIBUTIONS INCREASE

SLIGHTLY.

IT'S A MOVE MEANT TO IMPROVE THE

PLAN OVER THE LONG TERM AND ONE

THAT MOSTLY BENEFITS CANADIANS

JUST ENTERING THE WORKFORCE.

EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUMS

WILL DROP TO MAKE UP SOME OF

THOSE COSTS.

SMALL BUSINESS WILL SEE

IMMEDIATE RELIEF IN THE NEW YEAR

WITH THEIR TAX RATE FALLING FROM

10% TO 9%.

OTTAWA WANTS TO ENCOURAGE OWNERS

TO REINVEST THEIR EARNINGS BACK

IN THEIR BUSINESS OR HIRE MORE

PEOPLE RATHER THAN SITTING ON

THE CASH SO THAT SMALL BUSINESS

HAS MORE THAN $50,000 IN PASSIVE

INCOME -- MONEY BEING SAVED

INSIDE OF

THE BUSINESS, IT WILL LOSE

ACCESS TO THE LOWER TAX RATE.

THIS YEAR

ALSO MARKS THE YEAR WHEN THE

FEDERAL CARBON TAX PLAN WILL HIT

ALL PROVINCES AND IMPOSED ON

THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE THEIR OWN.

FOR CONSUMERS OTTAWA ESTIMATES

THAT IT MEANS AN EXTRA 4.42

CENTS PER LITRE AT THE PUMP BUT

THE GOVERNMENT ALSO SAYS THAT IT

WILL GIVE OUT AN ANNUAL REBATE

THAT SHOULD OFFSET THOSE

INCREASES.

>>> BRITAIN AND FRANCE WILL TRY

TO STOP MIGRANTS FROM REACHING

THE U.K. BY BOAT.

UNTIL RECENTLY IT WAS RARE FOR

MIGRANTS TO ARRIVE THERE BY SEA,

BUT ABOUT 240 PEOPLE HAVE COME

ASHORE SINCE

NOVEMBER.

AS BRIAR STEWART REPORTS, THEY

ARE URGING POLITICIANS TO TRY TO

KEEP THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE.

>> Reporter: THIS MORNING ON A

BEACH IN SOUTHEAST ENGLAND A

FAMILIAR SCENE -- AN INFLATABLE

RAFT.

THIS ONE CARRIED 12 IRANIAN

MIGRANTS, INCLUDING A

10-YEAR-OLD CHILD ACROSS THE

CHANNEL.

IT'S A STRETCH OF

WATER NOW MORE CLOSELY WATCHED

BY BRITISH AUTHORITIES.

>> GIVEN THE CURRENT SITUATION

THE RIGHT THING TO DO IS TO

REDEPLOY SOME OF THOSE ASSETS

AND MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE

BOTH PROTECTING HUMAN LIFE BUT

AT THE

SAME TIME PROTECTING OUR

BORDERS.

>> Reporter: THE U.K. IS

PULLING BACK TWO OF ITS SHIPS

FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN AND

STATIONING THEM IN THE ENGLISH

OTHER BOAT ALREADY ON PATROL.

>> GOOD MORNING, HOME SECRETARY.

>> Reporter: TODAY THE HOME

SECRETARY MET WITH THE U.K.

BORDER FORCES AFTER HE AND OTHER

OFFICIALS FOUND THEMSELVES UNDER

INCREASING PRESSURE TO DO

SOMETHING.

SINCE CHRISTMAS EVE IT'S

ESTIMATED THAT MORE THAN 100

MIGRANTS HAVE MADE THE PERILOUS

CROSSING.

AND SOME ARE NOW CALLING FOR

THEM TO BE SENT BACK.

THE M.P. FOR DOVER EVEN WANTS TO

SEE THE BRITISH BOAT BE ALLOWED

TO DROP THE MIGRANTS BACK OFF IN

FRANCE.

>> SO THAT ANYONE FOUND IN THE

ENGLISH CHANNEL IN ONE OF THESE

UN-SEAWORTHY CRAFT CAN BE HELPED

CAREFULLY AND SAFELY BACK TO THE

FRENCH COAST THAT THEY KNOW THAT

THERE'S NO CHANCE OF GETTING

INTO BRITAIN.

>> Reporter: THAT WILL ALMOST

CERTAINLY BE A TOUGH SELL.

STILL, THERE ARE OTHERS WHO

THINK THAT THE WHOLE

CONVERSATION HAS BEEN TOTALLY

BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION IN

BRITAIN.

CONSIDERING THAT THERE ARE MUCH

POORER COUNTRIES WHO ARE TAKING

IN MANY MORE PEOPLE, LIKE THE

700,000 ROHINGYA REFUGEES WHO

FLED TO BANGLADESH.

>> NOW WE SEE, AND IN OTHER

PLACES, HUGE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE

FORCED ACROSS BORDERS AND HERE

WE ARE HAVING A MASSIVE PANIC

OVER A COUPLE DOZEN PEOPLE WHO

HAVE ARRIVED ON THE COAST.

>> Reporter: BUT OFFICIALS

DON'T LIKE THE TREND.

AND THEY'RE TRYING TO GET A HAND

-- HANDLE ON IT BEFORE MORE

PEOPLE THINK

THAT THIS IS A NEW PATH FOR

ASYLUM IN U.K.

BRIAR STEWART, CBC NEWS, LONDON.

BOTH CHAMBERS OF CONGRESS WERE

THE PROBLEM, OF COURSE, IS THAT

LAWMAKERS ARE STILL UP AGAINST A

DONALD TRUMP'S WALL, IN FACT.

THE U.S. PRESIDENT CONTINUES TO

THE NEW DEMOCRATIC-LED HOUSE IS

SURVIVORS OF THE WORST SCHOOL

THE CBC'S CHRIS O'NEILL-YATES

CHALLENGES.

HE ALSO LASHES

AFTER 17 PEOPLE WERE KILLED AT A

SCHOOL SHOOTING.

>> YOU'RE NOT INTERESTING

BECAUSE YOU WENT TO A HIGH

>> Rosemary: YOU MAY REMEMBER

THAT IN RESPONSE TO THE PARKLAND

WE SENT OUR PHOTOJOURNALIST

LEONARDO PALLEJA TO WHERE

IN AN EMERGENCY.

THIS IS WHAT HE SAW "BEHIND THE

LENS."

>> I THINK THAT IT'S THAT MOMENT

WHEN THE PICTURE TELLS THE WHOLE

STORY.

(gunshots)

>> SO THE ONE THAT I REMEMBER

REALLY WELL VIVIDLY IS THE ONE

THAT WE SHOT IN ARLINGTON,

TEXAS.

IT WAS JUST AFTER THE SHOOTING

IN PARKLAND IN FLORIDA.

MAYBE LESS THAN 10 DAYS AFTER

THAT WE WERE AT AN ACADEMY WHICH

WAS TRAINING TEACHERS TO CARRY

FIREARMS IN CLASSROOMS.

SO THESE TEACHERS HAD TO FACE

THESE SHOOTERS THAT WERE COMING

TO THE CLASSROOM AND THEY WERE

SHOOTING WITH TRAINING ROUNDS

THAT WERE 10 TIMES MORE POWERFUL

THAN A PAINTBALL GUN.

SO IF THEY HIT YOU, THEY HURT.

THE ONE TEACHER'S NAME WAS DAZEY

AND WE FOLLOWING HER SINCE THE

BEGINNING OF THE TRAINING.

THERE WAS THIS MOMENT WHEN THIS

SHOOTER ENTERS THROUGH THE DOOR

OF THE CLASSROOM AND SHE FACES

HIM.

>> GO, GO, GO!

(gunshots).

>> GET OVER IN THE CORNER.

PUT CHAIRS IN FRONT OF YOU.

>> SHE TRIES TO SHOOT BUT SHE

CAN'T AND SHE FUMBLES THE GUN

AND SHE IS NOW PROTECTING

HERSELF WITH ONE OF HER HANDS.

AND SO YOU THINK HOW THAT MAKES

NO SENSE.

FOR ME TO SEE HER FACE, HER

EXPRESSION, I NEEDED TO BE

THERE.

I WASN'T EVEN THINKING THAT I

COULD BE SHOT AT, WHICH I WAS.

BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER, RIGHT,

WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO GET THE

SHOT, THAT'S WHAT MATTERS MOST.

YEAH, THERE'S PRESSURE TO DO IT

AS WELL AND WITH THE PRESSURE,

YOU KNOW, I KIND OF WELCOMED

THAT FEELING THAT THIS PRESSURE

TO GET THIS POTENTIALLY GREAT

MOMENT.

>> Rosemary: WE'LL HAVE TO
