Back in 2013 a stock tracking firm, Motley Fool by name, tried to explain why

it had decided to say that Starbucks is one of America's best companies to work

for. In those years, Starbucks had a great reputation, it treated its workers well.

The reason we knew that, was it said so all the time, over and over again, and it

liked to tell the story of their former chief executive, a man named Howard

Schultz, who attributed to his father's shaky job. The father never knew when he

would be paid or not paid, troubles when he got hurt on the job, and the story was

told, I believe in Fortune magazine and elsewhere, that Mr. Schultz was

determined to never reproduce for his employees what his father had suffered

on the job. Nice story. I wish it were true. The

problem at Starbucks is part-time labor. You only get many of the benefits that

Starbuck talks about if you work 20 hours or more.

But getting to work 20 hours or more is not easy. Turns out, Starbucks needs a lot

of workers at certain hours of the day, and not many workers at other hours of

the day, so they insist on having schedules that are weird and changing

from day to day, week to week, and plugging their workers in, when it's

convenient and profitable for them to be there. And that means, many workers don't

get the number of hours a week they need, to qualify for the benefits that they

like to talk about. Two-thirds of the company's payroll is part-time workers,

and according to a PBS Frontline report, if you want to work 32 hours a week for

example, to secure your access to health care, you have to make yourself available

for 70% of the hours that the store is open, allowing them to plug you in how,

where, and when they want you to. Now put that together with the average pay for a

Starbucks barista, ready, nine dollars and fifty cents an hour,

including tips. Well folks, if you work in the places where Starbucks are

concentrated, you know, New York, Washington, Seattle, places like that,

you can't live very well, if at all, on $9.50 an hour with tips when you're

working 20 or 30 hours a week. But the problem is, if you don't know from week

to week when your hours are, it's even harder, you can't have a second job

because you can't fix your schedule. It puts you in an impossible situation. And

why do I tell you this, to show you that Starbucks was a, had a reputation that

didn't deserve? No. You probably guessed that. I don't want to criticize Mr.

Schultz, or anybody else at Starbucks. Starbucks is doing what the system has

it do. You want to make money, you're a profit-making corporation, you

have shareholders to please, bankers to pay interest to, you do what's profitable,

that's what you're there for, that's why you went to business school, that's why

your job as executive exists. If you don't want the outcome of Starbucks, the

reality that's so different from the reputation, it's the system you gotta

deal with, not the particulars of this or that practitioner.

2018 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4Matic Coupe Review | Turbo fever is highly contagious - Duration: 8:01.

It's worth remembering, as the leaves change color and the air begins to chill, that sooner

or later most of us are hammered by a winter virus.

We just got it done sooner than most, in the forests of Germany's Swabian Alps, from an

unlikely assailant.

AMG's 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 is the kind of European winter virus we like, though.

It's relatively tiny, given the damage it can mete out.

Wherever it spreads, it takes machines born from corporate business plans and turns them

into snarling, bellowing brutes.

Take the GLC 63 and the GLC 63 Coupe.

Friendly, cheerful and solid as the donor Mercedes-Benz GLC might be, the bite of the

4.0-liter virus turns it all belligerent and shockingly fast.

Mercedes-Benz plans to bring "63" gristle to the GLC from somewhere around $68,000 for

the GLC 63 4Matic and about $5,000 to $7,000 more for the same power level in the GLC 63

4Matic Coupe, with the S version of the Coupe body style demanding early-$80K money.

The S version will only be available in the Coupe bodystyle.

There are other ways to look at it.

It has extra luggage space and a higher driving position over the C 63 sedan stablemate for

more or less the same money, while stepping up from the $60,400 GLC 43 Coupe is a lot

less painful than it is in the GLE model range.

But getting all the good stuff you probably want will cost more.

AMG won't say how much more, but it's a safe bet that expanding the mode-shifting Dynamic

Select system to include Sport + and Race will end up being somewhere around $1,250,

because that's what it costs in the C63 that shares this very same virus.

The justification for asking so much more for an S version is that it lifts the power

of the modular motor from 469 horsepower to 503 and boosts the torque peak up from 479

pound-feet to 516.

It's not as if either of them lack potency, though.

To 60 mph, the GLC 63 S — the fastest and most expensive of the breed headed stateside

in the middle of next year – will steal the lunch of even Porsche's just-launched

Cayenne Turbo, hitting 60 mph in 3.7 seconds (even though it's aimed at the Macan Turbo).

The base car is only about two-tenths of a second slower — even if it doesn't feel

right to call that "slower."

It's not like it struggles to do it, either.

We tested the S version of the Coupe (though only on 21-inch Pirelli winter tires that

add squishiness, in order to comply with German law at this time of year), and it didn't just

feel like it would bang out 3.7-second blasts to 60 mph, but felt like it would do it all

day.

It helped that it used the optional Race mode to wind up the nine-speed automatic transmission's

AMG-spec clutch pack (which replaces the stock torque converter), but in wet conditions it

wasn't even necessary.

We just cranked up the revs it would swallow and then stepped off the brake pedal.

And hung on.

And on.

And then hung on some more.

And the GLC 63 S Coupe was the only one that didn't notice it was raining, hard.

Its first gear ratio is an astonishingly low 5.35:1, and it's only ever used fleetingly,

especially on full throttle in Sport, Sport + or Race modes.

It snaps you back in the seat, and the clean launch — with virtually no wheel chirp much

less spin — takes every one of those engine revs and turns them into straight-line speed.

There's an electronically locking diff on the rear axle that takes 69 percent of the

torque under normal conditions, but the center differential can swing around to shoot half

of it up front (where an open diff does its best).

And it does it loudly, and you'll never confuse the engine note with a sugary-sweet V8 or

V10 from the pre-turbo days.

It's deep and angry when it fires up in the default Comfort mode, but it gets even more

upset when you stab the gas pedal, and downright furious if you combine that with a piece of

blacktop to take all that vocal frustration out on.

Basically, it's all the muscle and fury of that bear in "The Revenant" (before it gets

killed, obviously), plus pops and crackles on the overrun and downshifts that would put

a hot rod with a four-barrel Holley to shame.

The shifts snap cleanly and quickly, though the jolt goes from zero in Comfort mode to

oh-there-it-is in Sport and keeps going until the exaggerated thumps of Race mode (another

good reason not to actually use R on the road).

It's also so ridiculously clever in Sport and Sport+ that you're better off forgetting

about the paddle shifters and just letting it do it all for you.

A full third of its nine speeds are overdriven, and it reaches its 174-mph top speed (up 19

mph on the electronically limited stock GLC 63) with those three gears to spare.

They're used for cruising and saving gas (though there is no official mileage figure yet),

especially the 0.60:1 ninth gear.

It takes this a step further by "sailing" — disengaging the powertrain in Comfort

mode between 37 mph and 99 mph — to gurgle even less.

Besides borrowing the engine from the armada of AMG models, the GLC 63 S Coupe also borrows

heavily from their suspension features, too.

It scores a three-chamber air spring system, active damping, more negative camber and a

four-link front end with unique steering knuckles.

The rear end steals heavily from the E 63 S's five-link rear-end architecture, and wheel

bearings now sit further out than on the standard Mercedes version.

For all its SUV stance and the mean look of the Panamericana-style grille, assume it's

not ready for the Rubicon.

Because it isn't.

Not with standard 265/45 R20 tires up front, 295/40 R20s at the back (an inch bigger and

a lot wider than the standard GLC 63 Coupe).

If you want another hint, there's not a single off-road setting built into the mode switch.

A cold, wet road test on squishy winter tires isn't conclusive, but it does leave us with

some questions to answer once the ball of fire is finally over here.

Firstly, we're not absolutely sure how it handles.

There's plenty of grip there even when you start throwing it around, but at 4,511 pounds

(up 36 on the entry version), it doesn't wash the same calm sense of assurance over the

driver that a Macan Turbo does.

It was also difficult to feel truly at one in the bends, and its skid-control systems

chimed in so hard, so early, that it must have felt the same lack of power-down confidence

we did.

Or the conditions were just that bad.

It improved in Sport and Sport + modes, where the skid-control let the car slide just a

little on the way out of corners.

At least half the problem in the winding, saturated roads we had was that there is just

such a broad range of ferocious thump from the V8 even at half throttle that it's giving

everything, almost all the time.

The torque peaks at 1,750 rpm and stays there until 4,500, while the power peak hits at

5,500 rpm and doesn't fall away until 6,250.

There's no linearity in the power delivery, and the first three gears are all so short

that throttle modulation demands enormous attention.

That's going to be a lot less critical on dry roads and less critical again on faster,

open bends where the SUV felt tremendously stable, with its nicely weighted steering

making it easy to point and the effortless power always at the ready.

It's also quiet when it's cruising, and the ride is relaxed enough in its Comfort setting

to be an everyday car.

And there is the usual luxurious array of AMG leatherwork draping the cabin.

So, maybe it doesn't go around corners like a Macan Turbo.

And maybe it does, when we get it on the right tires and it's not raining and it's a few

degrees above freezing.

But we do know this: It sure flings you out of corners in a hurry.

And just keeps flinging you on.

everlasting I'm always there and mainly he talks about I am and I am is also

he refers himself to all that who I am we are part of him but he says Who am I

I am I am the origin of all of you I am the best designer of all the people's

life and I designed their lives based on their Karma's in other words whatever

him or not he is important omnipotent all the power in the universe

in this cosmos this is his power he is the source of light he

some such with knowledge he's the wisdom anytime we forget something and we just

remember it that is him with his power and then of course Lord Krishna says I

am love hold bhakti-yoga he has six chapters to experience me through the

love and devotion and of course Jesus is known for god is love God is peace and

then you are Christian says God is an anthem when we feel the happiness within

us we are experiencing God so according to sanatana-dharma

everlasting Dharma which is millions of years old which is now known as more

like a Hinduism but it is not it is a sanatana dharma sonata means everlasting

dharma means not just the religion but the righteousness which is done with

love and compassion so the humanity the Dharma of humanity that's what the

sanatana dharma is and the supreme power according to sanatana dharma is known as

Brahman we call it God but basically it is referred as Brahman and in Brahman is

in many forms presented in many many different forms in every person so he

says I am in everybody that's what the earth-mother

eternal spirit is and then he says God is symbolized formless in the form of a

mantra and also ultimate Dharma means the righteousness to serve the humanity

with humbleness selflessly that's what this samatha brahma is all about

so then the question comes if that is what God is all about then where does he

live where can I find you God tell me and then God says don't worry

you don't have to go anywhere I'm right here within your heart I am in

the psychic heart I decided your heart and when you need I give you the wisdom

because I am everywhere in fact there is a beautiful verse in Padua dita and it

says how to experience him where to find him

stomach for your food because the soul is present in every living being so do

so it's quite confusing but at the same time question comes if God lives

everywhere as he says then how to experience

we were traveling all of a sudden a big rock start crawling down from the

mountain and right hits or our car comes on our car goes on the side and we

stopped the other traffic stopped because people thought maybe we got

killed and when we got out of the car you know there was not even a scratch on

the car just on the right side because the hill was on this side just on the

right side there was a one small portion of the light got broken nothing else

happened nobody got hurt and I said okay thank you God he showed me that you are

here with me anytime something bad happened to us and we think like why me

then God has some lesson for us to learn it's a litmus test him he's giving us

he's testing us see how are we with our emotions and he also gives us the wisdom

and I want to tell you another small beautiful story I was supposed to meet

someone for dinner in the clubhouse and I was walking but I notice that the

distance was about three miles which means it was going to take me at least

45 minutes and I supposed to meet them in 20 minutes and I just I tried to jog

but I couldn't do that there was no way I could reach there all of a sudden when

I'm walking the message comes to me here is a path just get down

I never use that path before so I just went down the hill kept walking here it

comes a beautiful golf course and then I go through the golf course there's a

little lake right there and then there is a parking lot when I looked at it the

parking lot was right behind that Clubhouse and I reached there in 18

minutes and I said thank you God for giving me that wisdom to take turn and

just go down the hill so anytime if we are connected and as God says how you

can be connected with me just focus on the breath just hear that some mantra

whatever is your favorite but my favorite mantra is a mantra so I

just recite a mantra that time it connects me and he sees that that

conduct yourself and when you connect yourself I am no no not far from you I'm

right there so I am there I called it kana kaanum ever go on cha cha never go

on which is a Hindi phrase but what it means I'm everywhere in every situation

I'm always with you you just have to think about me so the

question comes if God is everywhere then why Cannot we experience him what are

our barriers and then again he explains he says when you have anxiety when you

do not have a faith in me when you doubt me when you are upset you are angry and

you when you are so selfish you are so thinking about me me me and not thinking

about my creation you just think everything belongs to you

though it belongs to my creation belongs to me and when you take the possession

it made you separate me from yourself and when you're too many desires to

fulfill when you have too much greed too much attachment too much anger then you

separate yourself from me so if we want to be connected with God then we have to

be more cheerful more loving more sharing more caring then we can

experience him so there is a beautiful poem how rent can we feel him and when

can i experience him and it says when i feel love in my heart i feel the

presence of god and when i feel peace in my mind i feel the presence of god when

i feel like my heart my i in my whole entire system my heart is filled with

love compassion or none down please I feel the presence of God when I feel I'm

no separate than God at that time I feel I'm no separate that God I am such at

Ananda I am the part of God I feel like I am

blessed Who I am and then I feel like I am that I am God I am Atma I am peaceful

Atma so any questions I don't see any questions here but the question we can

ask all ourself that what are my difficulties to experience God just make

a list of it as I mentioned is this my anger my anxiety my worries by my fear

and that trusting cart not having faith in God and thinking too

much about myself whatever you feel disconnected from love

and compassion and peace because that's another name of God then those are our

barriers so what is the mantra for today the mantra is I am eternal I am sorry

and when we practice that so how we are going to practice but before we get into

the practical practicality let's sit down and meditate for a few minutes so

sit down comfortably wherever you are as long as you are not driving and

operating any machinery so take a deep breath through your nostrils all the way

down to stomach hold it for few seconds exhale inhale hold it exhale

inhale hold it exhale and now breathe normally with

every breath smile smile in a smile out just focus on your nostril focus on your

breath and travel with the breath and say smile

smile in it's mine out smile smile and continue to breathe normally and with

every breath just say I am eternal

breathe in eternal breathe out eternal

and recite silently or loudly and just you could debate with me and just say I

am eternal

I am Atma

I am soul

I am fireproof

I am eternal

and just feel that through the nostrils

the energy the pure energy of the mantra I am eternal filled with smile is

injecting every cell of our lungs going through the heart and with the

bloodstream injecting the entire body with that divine power

just feel the Eternity within

I am dad

I am brim as money means I am Brahman I

am eternal

I am beasts

I am loved

I am Ananda

I am sucked the dip Anandi

I am everlasting

though my physical body might disappear I am eternal I am fearless worried less

anxiety less I am relaxed

I am eternal

I am eternal I am the ultimate truth

I am witnessed

I am forgiveness

I am silent

I am done

I am loved I am peace I am Ananda I am subdued Ananda

Oh Shanti Shanti Shanti he loved on my body peace upon my body peace for my

mind and peace for the universe and now wrap your hands and put it into your

head massage your body is your face your

entire body and then slap your hands

make the cups and put it on your eyes

and open it very gently namaste I hope you enjoyed this beautiful

meditation of experiencing your eternity your divinity with them because Lord

Krishna says that once you start knowing me once you start experiencing me then

we get lot of benefits because one of the question comes why do I do all this

what are the benefits and he says there are many benefits because I sit injured

consciousness your inner heart and all the memory all the wisdom about this

creation and also this divinity divine power which is called trans gentle

knowledge I'd give it to you you get it so

when we experience him within ourself then we feel more healthy we feel more

peaceful and we feel more prosperous more quite and more feel more serene so

God is the essence of God everything and everything is God he's present equally

in everything whether it's living beings non living beings everywhere so how are

we going to practice it and he says just listen to your inner voice just witness

just look at it detach yourself and just try to like you are in the aeroplane and

then you are looking down and you are not bothered with the traffic what's

going on on the roads and all that because you are above it so just put

yourself like above and witness it and experience my presence in fact when I am

in the aeroplanes direct time I don't know whatever happens but I catch such a

high messages like I am totally connected with him at that time through

the meditation of course I do but at that time I don't need to do anything

and all of a sudden so many I'm bombarded with so many messages like I

am just pouring on me so just for today I would say just for

today just pay attention to his presence around us and of course before going to

bed read whatever your favorite scripture is or autograph is and here I

say since we are speaking about bhagavad-gita in these sessions I say

read bhagavad-gita even just in one word if nothing else even if you just say

Geeta Geeta Geeta Geeta Geeta it just takes you to the different

NEW DBS SPOILERS REVEAL WHO IS GOING TO FIGHT WHOM IN THE FINAL TOP BATTLE - Duration: 3:31.

Hey guys.

Dragon Ball Super will be releasing its 122nd episode this week.

It is the much-awaited episode in which Vegeta will be facing off against Jiren of Universe

11.

We are still waiting for the episode to come out.

There are still some days remaining before the episode finally airs.

To make up for the release of the episode, Dragon Ball has been providing us preview

images.

Now you might say that it's the same every week.

However, as we know that there wasn't an episode last week, we received two sets of

preview images instead of one.

Well…that's what we originally thought, we have received yet another set of photos

which reveal some more information for the upcoming episode.

Like every other time, we got four more photos.



This time the photos revealed an interesting bit about the upcoming battles in the series.

Before we go any further I'd like to tell you that this video has spoilers for Dragon

Ball Super Episode 122.

So go ahead at your own risk.

Now let's begin.

We know that in the 122nd episode of Dragon Ball Super, there are going to be plenty of

fights.

We will see Freeza and Dyspo fighting in the episode.



This will be one of the three fights that will take place in the episode. 

Universe 11 finally makes a move to catch the fighters of Universe 7 off-guard.

However, the disruption does not work as Freeza steps in to stop Dyspo.

Freeza is particularly annoyed with Dyspo as it is thwarting his plans of winning the

Tournament of Power and getting the Super Dragon Balls.

The second fight will be between Toppo and Gohan.



This will be an interesting fight as it will show us if Gohan still has the brilliance

that he was once capable of.

Also, as we know that Toppo is really powerful it will be a really big test for Gohan.



Toppo will also be unleashing his true power in Dragon Ball Super 125.

After all, he is a candidate for the position of the God of Destruction.

So far Toppo has been quiet in the Tournament of Power so it's about time that we see

his power.

The third and final fight will be between Jiren and Vegeta.

Personally, I don't want to talk about it.

The result of the fight is fairly obvious and I'm not impressed.

Giving Vegeta so many Ls isn't fine and I hope that Goku gets smashed by Jiren.
