Is It Unfair to Pay CEOs billions? Q&A with Prof. Howie Baetjer - Duration: 2:44.

Isn't it unfair to pay CEO's billions of dollars when there's so many people in poverty?

That all depends on where the pay comes from and how it is earned.

If, for example, the payment to the CEO's comes in part from a government bailout, at

the taxpayers' expense, then absolutely it's wrong to pay then that.

But if the CEO is earning that money, has paid that money as a result of a contract

with the board of directors and they use that to reward him or her for making decisions

for them.

Because they believe that he or she is the best ... is a good option and worth it.

And if that CEO makes decisions suppose the CEO's paid $10 million a year.

If he or she makes decisions, which earn the company $15 million a year, they're absolutely

worth it.

As long as they ... I guess I would answer that the way I would answer about the pay

... about any pay for anybody.

It's fair and it's ethical, I think, if they're creating more value for the enterprise then

they're paid.

Because then the enterprise is better off on net.

And let's remember that enterprises make their money by creating goods and services creating

wealth for other people.

So no I don't have any difficulty with paying a CEO millions of dollars.

If he or she has earned it with making really good decisions and guiding the company so

as to create a greater amount of wealth than what they're paid.

I see no problem with that at all.

To add one other thing.

The question isn't it unfair to pay CEO's millions of dollars while other people are

living in poverty, seems to assume that the CEO has that money at the expense of the people

in poverty.

But that's not true.

If the company that the CEO works for is creating valuable goods and services, then the CEO's

money doesn't come at the expense of the poor, it comes as a result of making the poor better

off by providing them good and services they would like to have at a price they're willing

to pay.

This idea that the rich get richer in a free market at the expense of the poor is a pernicious

error.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs didn't get rich at our expense.

They got rich by making us better off.

It's important for us to remember that.

Is your business bullying you?! (Advice for Entrepreneurs) - Duration: 4:39.

Is your business bullying you?

I know that sounds like a crazy click bait question to ask, but just think about it.

What do bullies do?

They make you feel like you aren't good enough, like you're a failure and make you

question your self-worth, they knock you down every time you try to get back up.

Make you dread the next time you have to face this, shattering any trace of positivity

and filling it with doubt and fear of failure.

And that's how many of us entrepreneurs feel like every day, as we face this world of

never ending challenges and setbacks that can mentally and emotionally tear us apart inside.

And I think it is fair to say that as entrepreneurs many of us got into business in the pursuit

of freedom, to give us a way to be in control of our lives and give us a platform to do

something we are truly passionate about.

But this lifestyle is often blown up on social media by all these self-proclaimed gurus and

it's portrayed as a path to easy money, fancy parties and private planes.

But no one really stops to talk about the other side of the story, about how running

your own business and being an entrepreneur can actually be a really isolated and consuming journey

And for a lot of entrepreneurs I see the same problems over and over again,

as things continue to get worse, as they start to think

that the solution is that they need more tactics, or they need to change their branding,

or maybe they are missing some magical strategy that somehow is going to make everything better.

And we get so caught up in the marketing or delivery of a project, thinking that's where

the issue is, when in reality we are overlooking the core of the problem, which is how we think

and feel about ourselves and the beliefs that are holding us back, about who we are or what

we can or can't do.

And for many this is why they're stuck, and they're not getting the success that they

deserve. So if it feels like your business is controlling

you and everyday is becoming a never ending battle just to get by, with your confidence

at an all time low, and the anxiety and uncertainty controlling

your actions and decisions.

If any of this is happening to you, then you have to learn to focus on your mindset.

Because until you get that shift, you're going to continue going round in circles.

And one of the ways we can do this is by using a process called 'thought reversal' to

change the thoughts and stories in your head.

Because once you do that, then you can change how you think about yourself, you can let go of

the past, develop stronger relationships, and find that happiness in who you are.

But for this to happen you have to achieve three things:

This first one is you have to figure out where you are now and where you want to be,

because once you get that clarity,

then you can break it down into a step by step process, and put together a plan on how you are going to to close the gap

The second is you need to figure out what is holding you back and

what you have to do in order to let it go

because you may not even realise it, but those past experiences, those feelings and events,

they may still be directly affecting the thoughts and stories in your head today

And the third is you have to take responsibility for your thoughts and actions,

and start to see that while you can't change what happened,

what you can do is change how you respond to it going forward.

Getting this shift in your mindset is going

to lay the foundation for what's going to become a more confident, positive and stronger

entrepreneur, and from there you can then empower yourself to actually start moving forward

with your life.

And that's going to have the knock on effect of helping you grow your business, as you'll

mentally be in the right state of mind to actually get better results, to be able to make better decisions,

and actually start pursuing your passions,

as you become more resilient to the challenges that come your way.

But all of this starts with becoming self-aware,

which is why you need to take a moment and have a have an honest reflection

with yourself, about why you feel the way that you do and what is holding you back in your life.

Because by learning to reverse the thoughts in your head, you can silence the voice that's telling

you you're not good enough, you're a failure and making you question you self-worth, and

from doing that, then you can put yourself into a positive state of mind, where you can reignite your

confidence, you can let go of the past and you can actually shatter the beliefs that are holding you

back, about what you can and can't do, and the life that you have to live

And from there create a momentum that spills over

into all areas of your life, reigniting that energy, firing up that passion and making

you the true driver of your success.

So remember the 3 things:

1) Figure out where you are now and where you want to be

2) Figure out what is holding you back and what you have to learn from it to let it go

3) Take responsibility for your thoughts and actions

What is the cost of a video? | VideoMagnets.co.uk | 020 8133 2352 - Duration: 4:49.

How much is a video?

This is probably the first questions that comes to your mind when you think about having

a video.

You're not alone.

It is THE first question people keep asking me.

At my answer is, of course: it depends.

Here is what it depends on: Do you have a budget?

What type of video do you want?

And what do you want to achieve with video?

Yup, the money question comes right out of the starting blocks.

Let me show you why this is so important.

[Music]

A couple of years ago, a client answered only the first 2 questions:

They wanted a video like one of the hand drawn, complex doodle videos done by The RSA.

Now, a video like that has a budget of at between $15 and $20 thousand (dollars).

Their budget was £200 (pounds).

Now even if they had been able to miraculously grow their budget by 1,000 percent, and I

had been able to magic down the cost of the production of this video by half, the two

would never have met.

That is why I have my third question: What do you want your video to achieve?

Followed by: How much is a video worth to you?

Most people then go {sharp sucking in of air}.

Yeah, they have no idea how much a video is worth to them.

But that's OK, because that takes us straight to core of our topic:

What do YOU want your video to achieve?

And: How much are you willing to invest to achieve this goal?

You see, there is a persistent myth that 'video is expensive.'

But this is only true if you regard video as an EXPENSE and not an INVESTMENT.

Don't worry, I won't let you go without any price information.

So, let me give you some average video prices taken from the largest video market in the

world: On average, the cost of a 1-to-2-minute-long

video will be about $1,000 per minute.

Now, there is a large range here, of course.

In the first instance, your videos can be free, if you choose to create your them yourself.

The danger here, though, is that because they can often look amateurish, that the lack of

professional finish will damage your brand, your credibility or your image.

Semi-Professional videos that are 1-to-2-minutes long generally cost between $1,500 to $3,000.

Now, at this level, there still can be some problems with the quality, and most importantly,

the content is not always guaranteed to hit the marketing sweet spot.

Professionally developed, created and produced videos that are 1-to-2-minute-long will cost

somewhere between $5,000 to $20,000 but, of course, it could go way up.

Now, production quality should be absolutely no problems at this level.

But the content is highly likely to be a corporate video.

These videos absolutely have their place but I would ask myself this question: Is this

really the type of video I want?

These are, of course, generalised, average prices.

One thing they ignore, though, is the benefits generated by the economies of scale, which

we achieve when we create a whole series of videos all in one go.

If you want to know more about it, just get in touch.

There you have the cost of video.

There is only one question that still needs to be answered:

What do you want to achieve with video?

Thank you for watching.

If you liked this video, please, give it a thumbs up, and if you haven't done so yet,

please, subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Now, do you have any further questions?

Would you like me to cover other topics in future videos?

Nothing easier than that.

my best to create another video for you as soon as possible.

(ENG SUB)This is the most 'DANGEROUS' RED VELVET song ever!! RED VELVET - Bad Boy MV reaction - Duration: 6:49.

Hello everyone!!!

This is GoToe speaking!!

Today we will see

Title song of the 2nd repackage album

Bad Boy MV together

I do not think it's been long

since I took the reaction video of PEAKABOO

But they are back with their new songs!!

I am so welcoming

and thankful to you!!!

When I saw pictures released in Instagram

This song is not a bright song like 'Red Flavor'

groomy and dreamy song

like PEAK-A-BOO

I guess

First we need to see the MV first

and talk about it later

Let's see it ASAP

(I shaved my beard but why...?)

Mood is similar with PEAK A BOO

(Viewers Mode)

It is really lmportant to understand

story of MV when you see their MVs

(But what are you doing now)

Something Unconventional

I really like this choreo

(Thank you for making this choero)

It looks so nice when I see the Seulgi in the middle

(I love this choreo)

Everyone shocked at this scene, right?

Do you know her??

You know Mago Lobby

I can't remember

Yes! Holly Queen

She is so pretty

I love all choreos in this song

Of course choreo is

I think SM team is the best

(How pretty is she....)

When Seulgi do those concept

like something cool

Those are really fit with her

and look so confident

So do I

(So What?)

In this MV,

It doesn't include any specific story

(Focus on their beauty..?)

Concept is totally

I think much more

elegant concept than PEAK A BOO

I can't focus on music to see the MV

This is the best choreo

Yes, guys we saw RED VELVET's

2nd repackage album

title song 'Bad Boy'

I just saw the MV

I think this song is like

hypnosis song you know??

Obviously I saw the MV

But I can't remember the scenes

Just feels like I saw their photobook

My mind is so comfortable

Feels like floating in the air

TOXIC song

I can't remember it even I saw that 2 minutes before

I was tempted for 3 minutes

Like I am in the middle of the dream

There are lot of scenes in the MV

I remember this choreo

I remembered I really loved that choreo

and also Irene do the ponytail hair

and doing some dances

That is so perfect

I thought she was like Holly Queen

and I need to talk about Selugi

Of couse she is always pretty

When she do sth elegant concept

compare to the bright concept

(Exactly this scene)

That scene is really fit with her

She is much more confident when she do that

So in viewers side,

I am fallin in love

When I summarize this MV in one sentense

That is really

dangerous MV

When you see this MV

It is really hard to get off from RED VELVET

You need to be careful

I don't know what does it look like now

My soul is out now I think

I am doing my best now because I am reacoring video

Otherwise, I can't tell anything now

I think it is so good

when you listening this song just before sleep

It really helps your sleep

This is the end of this MV reaction

Including next week, many groups ready to come back

So I am trying to be back with various videos

Thank you for watching

and see you all in my next video :)
