Hi everyone, my name is Ed Gutierrez and in today's video, I will explain how small and medium BPOs will benefit from using SALs.
BPOs are companies outside the Philippines that hire Filipinos to do some of their business processes,
hence the name "BPO". They do everything from virtual assistants, call centers, IT development, design, ...
Many of these companies you already know and love.
But how do you track and pay your employees in the Philippines when your main business is in another country?
Companies are already using Salarium to track their employees hours calculate overtime, reimbursements, taxes, ...
They use the system to know how much to pay their employees and also to distribute the pay slips,
and then they use SALPay to disburse their funds.
But these clients earn their money abroad, so they need to transfer it into the Philippines to disburse it into SALPay.
Then they will send their money through banks, where they will be charged a processing fee
There will be a currency exchange, which means that a percentage of the amount will also be lost along the way.
typically banks charge a
"healthy" exchange rate of 2 to 3 percent.
The receiving bank will also take a processing fee to receive your money.
Once the money arrives in the company's Filipino bank account, they load it into SALPay, and within 1 to 2 hours
they can use it to disburse employee salaries to their SALPay accounts and cards.
This whole process takes between three to five days and costs around five percent of the total amount.

Companies will still use Salarium to help track their employees time and attendance, and calculate the salaries with barely any effort.

But now the company abroad will buy SALs from wherever they are, and will send them to their corporate wallet.
Companies using their corporate SALPay account will put money into a bank account in their country and will buy SALs from our local exchange.
We will buy and sell the SALs to our Philippine exchange
instantly, and move the funds for our clients from their home country into pesos and into SALPay.
No need for the company to open and maintain
Filipino bank accounts. The entire transaction will take minutes and cost only a fraction of what they're currently paying.
