Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho admits he is facing a DILEMMA over Paul Pogba
JOSE MOURINHO claims he faces a dilemma with Paul Pogba following Manchester United's 1-0 win over Brighton at Old Trafford. Ashley Youngs deflected left-foot strike soared over Matthew Ryan in the Brighton goal to keep Uniteds title hopes alive.
But the 32-year-olds effort has since gone down as a Lewis Dunk own goal, much to Youngs disapproval. After the game he tweeted: That was a tough one today, big 3 points in the end!.
Come on @premierleague.my shot was going on target, I've waited long enough for a goal. Pogba completed his first 90 minute match since returning from a hamstring injury a week ago.
But Mourinho admits he is still concerned over the Frenchmans fitness and his fatigue levels going into the hectic winter schedule. It's hard for me to be on the bench and don't know when Pogba has to be changed, said Mourinho.
I want to play [Marouane] Fellaini earlier, I want to play Fellaini with Pogba. But then I don't know if Pogba is happy to be on the pitch under the fatigue line, or if the fatigue line has been reached.
It's hard to be on the bench with these dilemmas. Manchester United will hope to continue their hunt of Manchester City when they travel to Watford on Tuesday night.
