Hi again everybody, and welcome back to

'One English Mistake in One Minute for

speakers of Chinese (and its many language

varieties)'. Each week in these videos I

discuss, in detail, one common English

mistake made by Chinese speakers, and

this is video number 36.

I said this in video 1, and I've said

it in every video since -- and I truly mean

it - I think it's a very cool, smart and of

course it's a practical thing to do in

today's world to try to improve your

English. Good work. Hopefully these

videos are helping you in your goal to

master English. Anyways, in these videos I

show you a slide, and on the slide there

are two sentences: One is the correct way,

one is the wrong way we say it in

English. Your task is to decide which

one is correct. Do that now. Read the

sentences, listen to me read the

sentences, pause the video, think about

your answer and I will discuss the

answer in the side that follows.

Yeah, hopefully you got it. Hopefully it wasn't

much of a struggle for you, and you know

why it's correct. If not, hopefully

now you know why you got it wrong. It

also means -- if you got it wrong or if you

took a wild guess and happened to get it

right -- that you have to start studying

more this structure. To start you on

that path -- it's a very simple beginning, I

know (but you can use the many resources

outside of this video) -- I've given you

three sentences to study from. Memorize

these sentences, drill them into your

brain through repetition and put into

practice what you've learned through

speaking or writing or both. Just

keep going through that cycle and

eventually you'll get it.

Manchester United ready to launch £15m bid for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney

Manchester United are planning a £15 million bid for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, according to reports. The Daily Mirror claims that United have been closely monitoring the 20-year-old and Mourinho has received positive reports from his scouts.

The United boss is in the market for a new left-back and is now ready to make a move for the Scotland international.

Its also claimed that Luke Shaws future at Old Trafford remains uncertain and he is aware that Mourinho is targeting a new signing in his position this summer.

Celtic, meanwhile, want to keep Tierney for another season and are in a strong negotiating position as the defender only signed a new contract last year which keeps him tied to the club until 2021.

Arsenal reportedly made a £10m offer for Tierney last year but the offer was rejected by the Scottish champions. The manager came in last year and I had been told already there was a big bid there, the defender said in May.

It was a dream season for me last year individually and the manager said he wanted me to stay and sign a deal.

As soon as I trained under him, there was no convincing needed. I was going to stay at Celtic anyway. It's always flattering to hear other clubs are interested but I had no doubt in my mind I wanted to stay.
