Deal close? Fans go into meltdown as Nemanja Matic is pictured in Man Utd training kit

Manchester United fans are getting very excited about a potentially imminent third summer signing after a picture of long-time target Nemanja Matic in the club's training kit appeared online.

The legitimacy of the picture is up for debate, with some fans assuming that Matic's face had simply been super imposed on Bastian Schweinsteiger's body, given that the number on the kit was 31.

However, the kit Matic is seen in is the brand new training gear which Schweinsteiger, who moved to MLS in January, never would have worn, let alone be pictured in.

If the picture does show Matic, that suggests a deal for the Serbian is far further down the line than many had realised, even considering the fresh reports that the transfer was close.

It emerged over the weekend that United were hopeful of having Matic wrapped up in the coming days and in the squad in time for the UEFA Super Cup, though by the looks of things he may even have had his medical already.

Chelsea have finally relented on allowing him to move to a Premier League rival, though that decision was aided by Juventus' reluctance to match United's £40 million offer.

Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to sign a new central midfielder this summer to bring balance to the team and has been keen to reunite with a player who he brought to Stamford Bridge from Benfica.

Since then, Matic has been a mainstay in two Premier League-winning teams, first under Mourinho and then under Antonio Conte.

And the latest leak has got United fans every excited about seeing their new man in action, while there has been a mixed reaction from Chelsea supporters…

Speech Is Not All That, FYI - Duration: 2:12.

I think many people are shocked when they learn that deaf people can actually

graduate from college. I mean, as simple as that. You know, we have brains.

We are smart. We have ability to understand. We have ability to do critical

thinking. And when a deaf person is language deprived, they miss out on that.

So, we actually have a dichotomy. We have people that are language deprived and

people that are language rich. And what parents often hear about are the language

deprived population. They remember that. But they need to be educated that this is

not their fault. This is a systematic error, systematic struggle that could have

been prevented. But what deaf people can do is really anything.

I mean, even right now in Israel, deaf people can join the military.

In the United States, deaf people can't. They say. "Oh, you can't hear." Well,

you know, what is hearing have to do with ability? It doesn't.

So, again, it goes back to ideology. It's deeply, deeply rooted that deaf people,

deaf equals can't. It should be deaf equals language rich individual.

With language, you're capable of anything. We have deaf doctors.

We have deaf nurses. We have deaf attorneys. We have many…actually many

deaf attorneys. You know, really I don't understand why people think that deaf

people can't. They say, "Oh, you must be able to speak in order to be successful."

And having is.... The ability to speak and having language are really two different

things. Just because you're able to speak doesn't necessarily mean you have

language. So, speech is not all that, just FYI. Language is everything.
