- Buying a new mountain bike is really exciting

but with so many different disciplines out there

and different types of bike,

it can be a choice that you could get wrong.

- We've worked in bike shops,

we've been pro racers, we've been mechanics

so with all that experience

we are gonna give you guys a few more tips.

- So this is five tips on buying a new bike.

So the first consideration

is the sort of riding you're gonna do

and that often comes down to where you live

and the type of riding you find fun.

There's all different types of mountain bikes

going from the hardtail that can

probably do everything quite well

to cross-country bikes to all sorts of different

full-suspension bikes and downhill bikes

at the very longest travel end.

I come from a downhill background.

Where I live, there's no big mountains or chairlifts,

so this is my bike.

It's 160 mm travel.

I like going down hills fast,

but I need to pedal to the top.

This works brilliantly for doing that.

Now, I am very lucky and I've got a few different bikes

that suit different disciplines,

but I guess most people aren't that lucky

so it's really, try to think about

the type of bike you want,

that's going to suit you the best.

Also, there are places where you can test out bikes

or demo them to try and see if that bike suits you.

- Now, let me tell you guys that mountain biking

is not a cheap sport to get into.

And in fact, it can become really addictive

because you actually start to want to upgrade components

on your bike and make it the best you possibly can.

But when you do walk into that bike shop,

make sure that you have a budget in mind

and you try to stick to it.

If possible, even think about having some money left over

so you can get things like a helmet,

you can get some spares for your bike,

things like tyres and inner tubes.

You also want to think about getting

some cycling-specific clothing

and perhaps even some protection.

At a later date, once you're really into the sport,

that's when you can start to think about upgrading your bike

and perhaps even getting a better model.

- Number three, making sure you buy the right size bike.

Now just like buying clothes,

the best way to actually get the right size

is to try that bike out.

And that might be possible

if you're buying your bike from a shop,

but many people these days are buying their bikes online.

So now might be the time to get out your tape measure.

Check out the manufacturers website

and on there should be some detailed specs

and geometries to measure up your old bike

or a friend's bike that you know fits

and compare them to their website

and make sure you buy the right sized bike.

- If you're new to the sport

and don't know too much about mountain biking

then you've probably come to the right place

because you have found GMBN.

When you're looking for a bike,

make sure you take some advice.

You could go down to your local mountain bike shop,

you could go and ask a friend who already rides

or you could have some questions for us.

And this is where you're going to find out

if you're getting the right bike for you.

- So you've decided the bike you wanna buy,

you've considered your budget,

now it's time to actually buy it.

It's often cheaper to actually buy a complete bike

then go down the custom route

of buying a frame then buying all the bits.

But, even when you buy a complete bike,

there still are some options.

Sometimes you get the option of having a better frame

but with cheaper components for the same price

as a cheaper frame and better components.

Personally, I would always go for the first one,

so better frame and cheaper components

because everything else is going to wear out

quicker than your frame.

So, when it comes time to replace those bits,

that might be the time to upgrade them

and end up with a nicer bike.

Face & Body Painting Tutorial | How To Paint A Palm Tree Sunset - Duration: 3:20.

Hey guys!

In today's video, I'm going to show you how to paint this awesome sunset beach design.

I used black, white, yellow, orange and dark body paint,

one large filbert brush and round #4 to paint this design. (No #2...!)

So first, load your filbert brush with yellow

and lay the color down like this by sweeping the brush.

then load the orange and do the same thing as the yellow,

gradually overlap the yellow to blend the colors.

Then the same again with the dark pink.

Lay the pink down on the top, and then overlap the orange to blend.

By doing this, you can get this nice ombre effect quick as you can see.

Next, load your #4 brush with black, and draw a line like this on the bottom.

Thicken it up,

and then draw the base of the palm tree like so.

After that, draw a cured line like this by flicking the brush.

Add a few more in all different directions like so.

5 or 6 lines in total looks the best.

And now, flick the brush from the line you just painted to make them look more like palm leaves.

Do this to all the base lines.

Now, you have a nice palm tree!

I also had some seagulls, usually 3,

It's just the v-shape,

and then some dots and teardrops in white.

It looks great with star shines too.

I also like this two palm trees version as well.

THE TRUTH: How To Get Rid Of The Scale For Good - DemeFit - Duration: 13:11.

hello hey guys welcome my name is DEMETRA

a lot of people don't know how to say it right

They say Dehmeetruh Duhmetrah, whatever

I go by Dee Deme yeah whatever you got you guys

want to hear about all this let's get to

business let's get to the nitty-gritty

today we are going to talk about weight

gain and the scale and how to cope with

it if you're watching this video I bet

you weighed yourself this morning or

during the evening time did you like the

number that you saw are you comfortable

with that number or were you expecting

to see something a bit lower

sometimes scale can get you really

excited or you know really sad

we've all been there male and female

seriously it's time to stop with all the

beating yourself up over a stupid number

and learn to finally just embrace your

body for what it is the number does not

define you

whenever I hear someone talking you're

telling me about how they want to get in

shape and they want to lose 10 pounds

and they want to lose 20 pounds in three

or four months or if I can just get down

250 pounds maybe you should reconsider

stepping on the scale

why well I think picking a number for

weight loss is maybe a decent starting

point and it's definitely good if you're

setting goals for yourself but the skill

definitely does not tell the whole story

and it can turn into a emotional roller

coaster and just really screw things up

here are a few reasons why I no longer

rely on the scale for my progress one

your weight is going to fluctuate

especially if you're female your body is

smart and it's a very very complex

machine there's stuff coming in and out

and dissolving and being broken down all

of the time as a result of that your

weight is going to fluctuate throughout

the day all day depending on what you

ate today what you drink if there is

sodium in your food everything

will be different next time you go to

the gym weigh yourself before you

workout and then weigh yourself

afterwards I guarantee you you will not

weigh the same way yourself in the

morning and then check you at night

I've weighed myself where I wake up that

lets say 228 pounds and then by the end

of the day I'm like holy shit i'm a

hundred 34 pounds

did I really just gained like guys I'm

not taking math in forever I really has

gained four pounds within 12 hours

no you didn't if you're trying to lose

weight the healthy way 122 pounds max

per week is a great point to be at 43

pounds if you're on the heavier side

usually when people start dieting the

first week the majority of the weight

loss could be a pretty large number it

could be like I don't know anywhere from

five to eight or maybe even 10 pounds

that's probably exaggerating a bit the

majority of the way from the first week

of dying

hello is water weight so don't think

that

oh my god I went on this TD talks and i

lost 10 pounds

don't quote me on this but i'm pretty

sure that the majority of those teas

have shit like diuretics and that no

shit Sherlock you're gonna lose water

weight not that honey

so if you're trying to lose weight the

healthy way 12 pounds per week is

perfect when i was doing my slow cut

just this past summer I was losing like

half a pound to a pound or a pound and a

half i was able to run to a lot of

strength because if you start losing you

know more than three pounds per week 224

pounds you're not only losing fat you're

also losing muscle and that

is like I cannot tell you how awful that

is I experienced that before and it is

the worst here's the second reason why I

don't let the scale take over my life

your weight does not tell the whole

story i have been a hundred twenty-five

pounds

skinny fat and I've also been a hundred

twenty-five pounds with a lot more

muscle on my physique same wait a few

years apart so the only thing that

changed well there's a lot should change

but what I'm focusing on right here is

my body composition just lift weights

which I know a lot of people are scared

to do but you just gotta get out of your

comfort zone you know everyone's nervous

and scared when you first start out you

know sometimes I even get nervous being

in the gym and I've been going for a few

years now i love the gym I love it and I

love being able to change my body and I

love the way it makes me feel this is

sometimes I get nervous I don't know if

I had like a big lift that day i'm dead

lifting my god shit I gotta put in work

today so I get nervous you know my god

am I gonna hit 180 am I gonna hit 200

today I don't know it's okay i'm telling

you that it is a ok to be nervous

lift heavy weights eat healthy when I

say healthy i don't need just plain

toast man were toast man was eat

Oh of the foods of colors of the rainbow

me try that again all of this

whatever you get what I'm trying to say

yeah go for long walks you lose the

weight and you'll keep the muscle win

I used to set out to lose like a gold

you know I used to say I want to be

under 25 pounds it's just not realistic

what if you get 225 pounds and you don't

look like what you wanted to look like

what that lets say you were a hundred

thirteen hundred forty pounds can you

say i want to get down to 125 pounds ok

what if during that time you diet your

diet you're losing weight you get down

230 pounds and you're like damn I look

good and at that point you're satisfied

with your body and you don't want to

lose any more weight

don't be so certain stone over a number

and if you don't hit that number don't

consider yourself a failure either you

know people might even notice you

started 14 you're down 130 and they're

like holy shit you look amazeballs

do you really need to lose more weight

you really need to push any further if

you feel like you look great

everyone else says you look great you're

not a statistic and you are not a number

on the other hand i'm not completely

shitting on the scale it does have its

benefits it does have its uses here and

there I a hundred percent have body

dysmorphia hundred percent so what I see

in the mirror may not actually reflect

what I currently have your vacation

recently and I didn't feel like I lost

that much weight i just felt the same

and i felt the same as i felt when i

first life for my trip and I got back

and my boyfriend hugs me and he's like

where's where's the rest of you I looked

at myself in the mirror you know I

myself every single day

and I just didn't see it I didn't see

what he was saying to a certain extent i

do think that the scale can be helpful

in that sense but it's not something to

obsess over it should be used as a tool

for whichever goal you may have whether

that may be bulking which yes women do

bulk i'm currently working my way into

bulking or cutting dying when I do feel

like using it i just use it to help me

stay on track during this book that I'm

doing right now probably weigh myself

maybe once every few weeks just to see

where i'm at also take measurements my

body that's a great way to measure

progress thighs your glutes your ways to

your chest biceps the whole the whole

shebang

so if you're someone who's trying to

veer away from the scale

here's a few things to keep in mind when

doing so this is a journey to be

healthier lifestyle it's like a marathon

you know it's not a sprint

weigh yourself once a month or every

other week just to keep yourself on

track and make sure that you're you're

going in the right direction if you are

going to be someone who weighs yourself

weekly make sure you do it at the same

time every single day so if you weigh

yourself in the morning like I do it

myself you know I use the potty I'll

just another business but don't eat or

drink beforehand i just weighed myself

on an empty stomach

butt-naked what has really helped me is

looking at pictures of myself and

comparing them side by side have a app

it's called layout and leave its partner

through Instagram but i do I take a

picture of myself maybe from a week or

two ago and then i'll do the same pose

or whatever i did and i'll post them

side-by-side and that way i have a

better judgment of my progression is I

know that when I look in the mirror I

don't see what I actually contain

underneath here set goals for yourself

that are not wait oriented I set a goal

for myself to be able to do 20 push-ups

without stopping

I've been able to progressively increase

that number that's been a goal of mine

that I've been continuously progressing

in between you and I my bench good with

your mind focused on building strength

or power you won't be as focused on a

number if you can only do say five

push-ups now and you workout it in next

month you can do 15

congratulations you definitely got

stronger writing this stuff down is

great as well I write it down in my

notes I've actually had been tracking my

weight since January 26

oh my god so a year ago have it all in

notes and i weigh 235 pounds a year ago

I died during that time so i got only

back down to 225 which is around where I

am right now I just for the whole year i

tracked my weight so are you a scale

junkie

I'm still recovering scale chunky

consistency

I know it sounds like you know cliche

like consistency is key

but it did honestly really is more on

the story scale is working for you and

you're able to have a healthy

relationship with the scale

go for it do you stick with it if the

scale is a total bitch to you and it's

something that screws with your mind

maybe it's time to check it or take a

little break

what are your guys experiences have you

had success with stepping on the scale

daily or weekly have you had rough weeks

with the scale or have you skipped the

scale completely and are still seeing

great results

and so every time she would slam into the door,

think it was the fourth time you tried it,

we saw her face in the beginning of a long take.

So we see her face

crunch a little bit in pain

And then she keeps on going for another I'd say four minute take.

At the end she's kind of walking back and she's like "Oh, my ribs".

Dave Bautista is in it and he knows, he's broken every

bone in his body he's done everything.

They talk to each other and he's like,

"I think you bruised your ribs."

And she's like, "I think so."

And then she did that take probably four more times.

5 Most Disturbing Amazon Reviews - Duration: 6:09.

Following his 2016 arrest, investigators probing the life of suspected mass murderer Todd Kohlhepp made a startling discovery.

An Amazon account linked to the man appeared to reveal chilling and ominous clues about his past criminal activities.

140 Amazon product reviews were posted in total, and these may be the 5 most disturbing of all...

"solid locks... have 5 on a shipping container... wont stop them... but sure will slow them down til they are too old to care"

The Kohlhepp case first broke after Kala Brown and her Charles Carver vanished while going to work on Kohlhepp's rural property.

Authorities tracked their cell phone signals to Kohlhepp's South Carolina home and heard banging sounds during a search.

Brown was found begging for help and chained inside a shark cage that was hidden within a padlocked metal shipping container.

When rescued, Brown told police that it was too late for her boyfriend and that he had been killed for "having a smart mouth"...

"now my locks have locks... place is hotel California now.."

Investigators soon learned that Carver had been shot dead and that his body had been dumped further away on the property.

Although he hadn't been locked away like Brown, a second padlock review by Kohlhepp provided an eerie link to Carver's murder.

In it was a reference to "Hotel California," a song with the lyrics "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave."

Carver's family had been baffled when the same verse was posted on his Facebook page while he was still missing.

Investigators believe Kohlhepp posted the lyrics himself and was the source of other creepy taunting messages to Carver's family...

"getting the neighbor to stand still while you chase him with it is hard enough without having a easy to use chainsaw..."

Well before police descended on Kohlhepp, neighbors reportedly complained about his threatening and menacing behavior.

Among their concerns was a grainy "spy" pic Kohlhepp had posted online after he stalked an unknown woman walking across his 95-acre property.

After finding Carver, crime scene units confirmed the neighbors' worst fears when 2 additional graves were discovered...

"keep in car for when you have to hide the bodies and you left the full size shovel at home... does not come with a midget"

"havnet stabbed anyone yet... yet... but I am keeping the dream alive and when I do, it will be with a quality tool like this..."

Police don't believe Kohlhepp ever got to carry out his professed fantasy of killing by knife before he was arrested...

...but further questioning of Kohlhepp revealed he may have been behind 4 more shooting deaths in 2003.

In a confession, Kohlhepp claimed he was responsible for the unsolved murders of 4 employees in the Superbike Motorsports case.

Kohlhepp's relatives suggested he tried to return a motorcycle to the store and was laughed at for not being able to ride it...

"its blacker than my soul and priced right"

Signs that Kohlhepp would become a serial killer appeared early in his troubled youth and culminated in his arrest at age 15.

In 1987, he pled guilty and was sentenced to 15 years in prison after kidnapping and assaulting a young girl at gunpoint.

The judge in the case reported that he was "behaviorally and emotionally dangerous and likely could not be rehabilitated."

Now back in prison, Kohlhepp has so far confessed to 7 murders and is a person of interest in several cold cases...
