I think she can sing and she's talented

and I've cried to plenty of her music

before so I'm excited to listen to it so

and one thing I will say is that that

I've noticed is that Tamar is actually

really utilizing her lower register

everybody knows Tamar for being a belter

she's a soprano she can hit those notes

she has a little register she knows how

to stay there up and her her her top the

top of her range that's what she's

really known for is really belting up

there whatever the case may be but in

this song she's really giving me her her

lower register and she's really showing

that she's not you know she's really

showing her versatility really in her

voice like I love I love I love low

notes those are my favorite notes really

on the scale is those low lower notes um

and I felt like you know honestly she

was sending a lot like like her sister

Toni in the song which is not a bad

thing because Toni Braxton is one of my

top five favorite singers of all time

and she was really giving me Toni

Braxton advice in the beginning of song

which I'm absolutely here for because I

love Tony I like the message of the song

is different really from from anything

really out right now her talking about a

real life situation where there was

somebody in her life that you know um

took care of her or was there to be her

support or supposedly her friend and the

whole time she was scheming behind her

back to take her man and apparently that

was you know the story of the reason why

her parents broke up or the reason why

her parents got divorced what is

unfortunate in the fact that you know

she's really using she's using real life

situations and putting it into her music

which is you know the definition of art

Call for coronial investigation into Canberra Hospital switchboard fire - Duration: 0:52.

Overnight and today we've seen chaos at

the Canberra hospital because of a fault

in a switchboard. What has happened is

that the government over time promised

to spend money on the Canberra Hospital

in 2012 committing hundreds of millions

of dollars to rebuilding the Canberra

hospital, but they reneged on that

promise because they preferred to build

a tram and we've seen the results of

this today that there was a fire in a

switchboard that could have been avoided

that the lifts were out and the

situation was so dire that it was

seen as clinically advantageous to send

people home at four o'clock this morning

and this is a real problem for the

people of the ACT who are concerned

about their health system most people in

Canberra say that health is their highest

priority and we now have a health system

that is put in jeopardy for want of

basic maintenance

The Australian continent is sinking…why? And what does it mean for sea level rise? - Duration: 1:45.

Surveying and spatial sciences is about measurement and I'm

very much involved in measuring the Earth — so how

the earth changes. Everything has a place,

and everything is related to something else, and so

it's understanding those relationships.

There's so much that we don't know about our Earth.

It's such a dynamic planet. The Australian plate is one of

the fastest moving plates, if you look at

it moving horizontally, but vertically

there's a problem. Our historic model suggest that

it should be uplifting as a plate about a millimetre

a year but the data that we've got says that it's sinking —

so there's a conflict — and so my research is looking at

getting around that conflict, solving a problem,

and ultimately it will go into sea level estimates.

The degree at UTAS gives you the ability to walk straight

into a surveying firm and hit the ground running.

You don't have to know what you want to do,

this degree in particular gives you flexibility

to change your mind. All of the lecturers

are also researchers, so the team here is very strong.

I've been to China, been to Los Angeles,

been to Vienna, been to Germany, and then I've also travelled all

over Australia to places that I never thought I'd get to.

Being outside, working outside and travelling

a lot interested me.

After my honours I took a position as a graduate

with Geoscience Australia. I had the opportunity to help

draft a United Nations General Assembly resolution

that was adopted early last year which was pretty exciting.

The majority of surveyors at GA are from UTAS.

Being a surveyor from UTAS holds quite a lot of weight.

There's many, many opportunities.
