What

is Compression Breakthrough ~ The Event?

Part One of Two

An overview article for newly awakening readers 26th April 2017

Almost immediately after the Day of Compression Breakthrough or the day of The Event we will

have Peace on Earth yes total and complete peace that is incomparable to anything that

we have ever experienced before.

We will be lacking for words, we will walk around in utter amazement when we receive

the news via mainstream media that all wars on this planet have ceased and all weapons

have been put aside.

It will take some time to sink in but after eons of enslavement, eons of feeling lost

in a wilderness we will finally see beyond the veil that has been clouding our vision

of reality for so long.

We will finally be free to allow the truth of our being to bloom, free to develop and

express the true sovereign beings we are.

I hope that we ban fireworks or at least any that sound like bombs etc. exploding so that

the war weary traumatized souls all over this planet can heal quicker.

On that note if you have knowledge of some positive method of healing please know that

your assistance in this area will be very much needed and appreciated.

There will be so many souls needing help to release trauma, programming etc. so that they

can let go of their fears and once again begin to find trust, begin to believe that they

can be a part of a community where they are appreciated and accepted for who they are.

When we begin to adjust to existing in a world where we no longer need fear, when we have

managed to digest and assimilate all of the information about the truth of our reality

beyond the mass programming and control of the veil, our creative urge will blossom and

we will unite with others in so many wonderful creative projects to heal Mother Gaia and

everyone living here.

Who Is Cobra?

If you happen to be a new reader and have no prior knowledge of this subject you might

be thinking right now that this woman needs her head examined, how could anyone in their

right mind believe that there will soon be overnight peace on earth when the world seems

crazier than ever right now?

On January 4th this year Cobra gave us some details about the plans for the co-creation

of the new society after The Event, he says New Atlantis is the codename for the energy

grid around the planetary surface that will support the Compression Breakthrough and also

the codename for the New Society after the Event.

The New Atlantis project actually aligns the vortexes of the Old Atlantis with the new

energy grid that is about to be completed soon.

New Atlantis is a project of the Light forces that is already ongoing for millennia.

Saint Germain is one of the main beings working on this project.

He has revealed parts of this project to humanity in his incarnation as Francis Bacon in a novel

called New Atlantis, where he described a utopian society based on meritocracy.

In his next incarnation as Comte de Saint Germain he attempted to co-create a new Society

in America by assisting in the independence of the USA and by being the main spiritual

force behind the Constitution.

Now Comte de Saint Germain has asked me to assist him in completion of the New Atlantis

project.

The planetary energy grid of New Atlantis is namely the energy tool that will manifest

the Compression Breakthrough, the Event and the New Society.

Cintamani grid around the planet is one of the major tools in manifesting that aim.

Whenever a Cintamani stone is planted in the soil somewhere around the planet, a huge angelic

being is anchored in that spot, creating an energy vortex miles in diameter:

Recently Saint Germain discussed the Fulfilment of Divine Mothers Plan which he points out

is no pie in the sky but very real.

In other words, from the Day of Compression Breakthrough when the Light from the combined

Forces of Light above meets the Light from below ~ Gaia + RM + Agartha on the surface

nothing will ever be the same again.

We will unite with one another and begin to co-create a new Golden Age on Gaia.

We have all been affected by these powerful Galactic Waves of Love these past four or

five years and we are transmuting, letting go of, healing, our burdens, wounds, belief

systems, everything that has hurt us.

You will need to know that the so called Master Plan for this change has been in place for

at least 3 4 decades.

I have taken the link about the Master Plan for The Event from Prepare for Change because

many of Cobras most important key articles are available in one place (see heading

Cobra RM top of PFC site) there and many of them have been translated, so just roll down

to the bottom of the article and you will see which languages are available.

In Depth Information about Allied Light Forces and Liberation Progress

For the reader who is unfamiliar with who exactly the so called Resistance Movement

or Allied Light Forces are I have gathered an overview of the various groups involved,

below surface, on the surface, in the solar system and not in least on higher dimensions

on a webpage entitled Victory Now.

Following the aforementioned information that same webpage covers the most important details

about the battle with the dark forces for planetary liberation, covering the timeframe

from this message here from June 5th 2012 and up until the present moment.

June 5th 2012 Leader of the Archons Leaves Earth

We were informed by Cobra on June 10th 2012 that the leader of the archons on the physical

plane was arrested on May 5th by the Resistance forces and taken off-planet.

He has crossed over to the Light and is now free-willingly assisting with the planetary

liberation process.

This arrest took place in Rome.

He was the one that many members of the Cabal were worshipping in their distorted rituals,

so now they are worshipping something that does not exist any longer. I might add

here that some time ago when Cobra was asked about this archon leader and whether he was

still assisting the Light Forces we learned that the realisation of all of the suffering

and pain that he had been the cause of was too much to bear and he asked to return to

the Galactic Central Sun and begin the soul journey all over again.

I should add that should you decide to follow the progress of the Light Forces over the

past four years (2013 Present) it will demand many hours of reading and a necessity

to take breaks as it covers over four years of Cobra updates that are directly connected

to the battle with the chimera.

On April 7th 2017 we learned the following;

Clearing of the Chimera group continues.

The Light forces are intensively clearing the head of the Yaldabaoth entity (the tentacles

of this entity which stretched into the solar system have recently been removed) with all

plasma anomaly and plasma toplet bombs and all plasma scalar technologies of the Veil.

Realizing that they are going to lose, the Chimera have stepped up the plasma attacks

on the key Lightworkers and Lightwarriors that are beyond brutal.

On Wednesday, the Light forces of the Galactic Confederation and the Ashtar Command have

begun full force active removal of all plasma negativity near the surface of the planet.

Every direct intervention of the Confederation forces inside the quarantine Earth provokes

retaliation by the Chimera and they started first by trying to provoke nuclear exchange

between USA and North Korea:

they have turned to electronic warfare.

Aside from many times mentioned plasma scalar weapons, they are now using directed energy

weapons to their fullest, targeting key Lightworkers and Lightwarriors in an obvious attempt to

remove them from the surface of the planet, as the Lightworkers and Lightwarriors with

the power of their unified consciousness are one of the main obstacles in Cabals plans

to create global war.

. A certain elite task force has begun removing key perpetrators of those crimes internationally.

They shoot first and ask questions later.

They have issued a warning, stating that anybody using a directed energy weapon against a civilian

target, either knowingly or unknowingly, is committing a crime against humanity and may

expect to be dealt with.

They have also stated that an international diplomatic and political scandal with far

reaching consequences, exposing certain key people from the United States, responsible

for use of those weapons against civilian population, may explode soon..

.Now it is of the utmost importance for all Lightworkers and Lightwarriors to invoke and

anchor the Light as much as humanly possible, although I am fully aware that we are tested

beyond limits.

Here is a very good and effective example of how to do this:

Our unified awareness and consciousness will transmute this situation, as it has transmuted

countless situations before.

I am so looking forward to the arrival of that DAY of days when I will be adding the

final Victory of the Light information to this page hopefully in the near future.

New Financial System

Recently I saw an article written by someone anonymous who claimed that he/she had inside

information about the so called Global Currency Reset or GCR.

This person then made several derogatory remarks about Cobra and his sources of information.

I have to say that for the past 3 and a half years at least we have seen many articles,

whether channelled (fake) or peoples contacts in the financial world of various

kinds saying more or less that the GCR was about to happen within days or weeks max.

We have been informed by Cobra that the so called Reset, Reval of the Financial System

will take place at the time of The Event not prior.

These articles will no doubt keep popping up until then.

3 years ago in Dec. of 2013 we received an update about the New Financial System and

The Event where we clearly see the game being played behind the scenes that has taken place

and will continue no doubt to do so until the last minute.

A battle continues for the control of the new financial system, which is being created

now with full speed.

The Eastern Alliance is building the new financial system to support the coming Event:

I wrote / compiled this article in February of 2016 to give readers a broader view of

the Financial Reset.

I will attempt here to convey to you why there is no need for doubt regarding the question

of financial redistribution of wealth to humanity after The Event.

Understanding the Role of the Red Dragon Society Regarding The Event / The Re-Distribution

of Wealth to Humanity

Phenomenal Results of Our Recent Etheric Liberation Meditation

Cobra asked us to join forces in an important meditation in February this year telling us

The master key for the energy grid around the planet is the Congo vortex.

That is a huge energy vortex that is anchored in Lake Kivu in Congo.

This area was the landing space of a special expedition of the Central Race which landed

there more than 2 million years ago, anchoring a very powerful Light presence.

Much later this vortex was taken over by the Reptilians who actually energetically controlled

most of the Sub-Saharan Africa from that area.

This is the reason why black magic is so widespread in Sub-Saharan Africa and why so many people

there are possessed by Reptilian entities:

Congo vortex was the entry point for the Archon invasion in 1996.

Since then, the Archons are doing whatever they can to destroy the feminine energy in

Congo, while the Light forces are trying to heal the situation:

On Feb 26th we united worldwide in an Etheric Liberation Meditation with massive success

here is what I wrote to my blog readers when the results came in from the RM.

TZ here; My God!

dear readers we could not have better news than this!

now I understand why Cobra used the word EPIC in his previous short report about the

etheric meditation.

Enjoy this message in all of its amazing details and know that you will clearly start to see

signs whether small or great all over Gaia that we are on the road to liberation and

total Victory of the Light.

Cobra mentioned that this epic meditation has cut the remaining waiting time before

The Event in half.

The Resistance Movement have ways of estimating ~ depending on the current situation ~ when

The Event is most likely to take place.

This type of estimation is of course classified for safety for the surface human population.

SO the Resistance Movement are no doubt themselves amazed at the influence this meditation has

had.

This should encourage us all to continue every effort to affect a strong positive return

of Light and Love we can take note of Yeshuas reminder yesterday that when we

change our behaviour the whole world changes.

The weekly meditation on Sunday shall no doubt continue as long as necessary ~ we now have

enormous evidence that meditation and etheric work generally moves mountains.

Things are developing at an amazing speed now and NO-ONE person knows the Day or the

Hour that Goddess/Mother will give the signal for The Master Plan (see Most Important Cobra

articles on PFC or The Portal) to begin.

Our greatest goal right now should be to connect with our I AM / Higher Self Presence and lovingly

follow advice given as to how we best can move forward in Love for ourselves and others.

In Love and Light to everyone TZ

Etheric Liberation Report

Our meditation on Sunday (Feb 26th 2017) was the turning point in the decisive battle for

the energy grid of planet Earth that is taking place between January and April 2017, and

one of the biggest victories of the Light.

It is estimated that our meditation has cut the remaining waiting time towards the Event

by half.

At the moment of the activation, a huge wave of positive plasma swept throughout the solar

system and then through the ionosphere, causing the Schumann resonances to explode.

This wave was detected by Space Observing System in Tomsk in Russia, where the activation

happened at 9:55 pm local time.

You can clearly see drastic increase of plasma activity starting around one hour after the

activation and lasting for about 36 hours,

This wave has effectively cleared most negative plasma from the Solar System and the Resistance

has communicated that they can not detect any plasma anomaly beyond the Moon orbit.

Also, all plasma toplet bombs beyond the Moon orbit have been removed.

It means that the tentacles of

the Yaldabaoth entity are gone forever and now only the head remains.

Flabby Arms and Bat Wings? How to Hide Them with Style! - Duration: 7:38.

Join us today for fashion tips over 50

how do we make our arms not look flabby?

and we're back for another segment with

Scarlett of Bease, Scarlett thanks for

saying over! we are right at the cusp of

you know starting to change our wardrobe

for summer and it gets a little scary

this time of year do we wear that

sleeveless look or not, what advice do

you have for us in that regard?

okay so this is a big deal because I

would say 9 out of 1 women I work with do

not like their arms they don't want to

show their arms they don't want to wave

hello or goodbye to anybody as I made a

joke with you at one point, that some women

would rather go topless and show their arms

they really hate their arms, you know

because your breasts stay they stay they

keep better than your arms yeah the arms

go pretty fast, unless we're like really

really into the gym stuff you know and

then have Michelle Obama's arms we're

not you know it's a tough call and I

have to say this time of year is rough

but even in the winter now they they

sell a lot of sleeveless shirts yeah in the

winter, there's no longer this time period

where it okay once it gets warm get

to go sleeveless it's hard to find

sleeves any time of year

terrible it's really bad so the thing is

that you want to find sheer things that

you can wear for one thing, so if you go

to wear like a tank, like you have on like

a tank kind of style yeah I was hesitant

to to wear it or not especially

when you're here,

your arms are good but you might

not like showing your arms because I mean

there are women who have great arms and they don't want to

want to show because they they think

that they look bad and they really don't

but, it's difficult, it's about perception

yeah and how that makes you feel right

that's that's all that really matters, is how

you feel so like I threw this on this

little shear you can see through it

kind of top, it's very pretty,

but it's just enough to you know cover

my upper

arms so that I feel better about my

arms the other thing is that I want to

stay avoid t-shirt type of sleeves Oh

really, they stop at the widest

part and make your arms look wider

you maybe happy that something is

contained you're actually going to look

bigger you know, that's a big thing

also be careful

that you're not wearing bras that are too

tight because then things are going to

start billowing over and that's going to make

your upper part look a little yeah meaty

and also think about the cold ...

what's it called the cold shoulder now is a

really really big style, is that the one

that's where they have the peekaboo

shoulder yeah so when you have a cold

shoulder you're covered up here and then

you're covered right on that fleshy part

and then that meaty part up here which

is more muscular it looks great okay can

be good you have to try it at any age

can wear this now and as you can also do

like scarves you know sheer sheer scarves for

the warmer weather and you can drape

that over your shoulders too, you know its

kind of funny we were at a black-tie

wedding in Florida last year and my

husband leaned over to me and said look at

all the ladies wearing shawls over their

shoulders like he had he was clueless why

so many women had like these

pretty shawls ... and the other thing is

that you want to again I am as I said

earlier about you know taking the eyes

way to the butt you want to take your

eyes away from the shoulders then do

something around your face whether it's

great earrings or necklace you know

bring bring the attention up here and

then you won't be worried about this and

I also want to say that women have to

like make a movement and I and I really

urge this when you go into a store and

your shopping and you're struggling to

find tops that you know cover up the arms

talk to the store manager, talk to the buyer

whoever you can get a hold of and say

would you I need more that covers up

my arms because it's really

we don't speak up we're not going to

get it, no I mean I really want them to

speak up you know about this, it's a really

a big problem, who get's a thumbs up

from you for in terms of a manufacturer

about you know more catering to more of

maybe our vintage but in a very you know

in a good way

well I'm a big fan of a line called Nic

and Zoe's at Nick and Zoe's okay Nic

N I C and then Zoe ... she named it

after her children and she's from

Boston actually and she created a line

of clothes that I have, every

one of my clients I think for her

because what her designs do is they

actually are the patterns are done such

a way that it can create some waistline

I love her stuff she should only know

how much I love her stuff, and so I'm

actually the top I have on now is

now that you mention it, is a Nic and Zoe top

and I'm not going to stand up because

I don't really want to, but the patterns are all very

very very perfect, I think it's

really important so when you are in the store

say, hey come on what the heck is

going on here

you know I need something for my arms

they're gonna listen to you because they

want you to buy, they don't want you to

walk out, you know, tell them Scarlett sent me to

talk to you I have her styling system

here I'll change my number, you have more

about arms and you know on your

online system so tell us about that

again? so I created a course of 12 videos that

you can watch on demand on your own pick

what you want it could be about colors

how to make, your how to get rid

of the muffin top your waist line on what

underwear to wear what shoes to wear how

to make your body how to dress

now after you had a baby even

though the baby might already be in

college, so okay that's more to our

audience, it's really not just for people who just had

a baby

it's actually titled if your baby is

driving, and what to do about accessories

accessories are an incredible way to

bring life and personality and

creativity to your wardrobe

it doesn't cost a fortune to get

something at Target for instance and

just add a little color and what to do to make

your own eyes be able to see what works

for you and what doesn't work for you

well in our next segment we are going to

you know come back and talk about color

which you just brought up and be sure you

do check out Scarlett's system

because she is just as funny there

she is here your pleasure to watch she

had me cracking up so check it out and,

I'm a little little quirky okay, Scarlett

thank you for the tips about our arms

and we'll see you on the next segment

talking about color, see you in the sec!

Episode 3: The Girl With No Wit (Forgotten Reflections Audiobook) - Duration: 22:43.

Forgotten Reflections. Episode 3

[August, 1948]

Exactly three years after ousting the Japanese from the Korean Peninsula,

history records that on August 15, 1948, two separate Korean governments were established,

divided into the North and the South.

Despite the division, this day was marked with hope, of the endless possibilities ahead,

and of the blissful ignorance of the years of bloodshed and war that would soon come.

Jung-Soo and Iseul are now seventeen.

Yeoju, also known as the rice capital of Korea, is situated southeast of Seoul,

almost exactly in the center of the entire Korean Peninsula.

Flat plains meet rocky peaks, as the Han river runs thick through the center, flowing down from the heart of Seoul.

It is known for crops other than rice, as the natural irrigation of the river provides a rich bed for other produce to be grown.

Sweet potatoes were sweeter than in any other place in the Peninsula, as were the yellow melons that grew crisper and brighter.

But further down south, straddled on the southernmountains of Yeoju, lie a small farming village.

There was nothing special about this village, nor will it be remembered once all is said and done.

It was in every sense of the word, plain, bland even, only useful for its mediocre harvesting potential of the nation's staple, rice,

averaging far lower yields than the villages of Northern Yeoju.

In fact, the village had no name, other than its nickname, "The Wasteland"

for its dusty gravel plains that lay at the foot of two mountain ridges that came together, blocking all road that led to the South of the Peninsula.

The days were long and hard, both men and women, boys and girls, hunched back in the rows of muddy green rice patties.

And when the sun rose to its peak and beat down too hard to endure, they would gather by the river,

underneath the shade of pavilions and persimmon trees that were beginning to bud.

The sound of men and boys wrestling would fill the air, as masked men and women danced to the sound of buk drums.

Kites fluttered by the narrow riverbeds where women kept watermelon steeped in the chilly water,

as the children gathered to bid their turn for a slice to quench their thirst.

While the rest of the village was busy planting and harvesting rice throughout the year, Iseul roamed the mountains Southeast of the Wasteland,

harvesting from the trees that fed her appetite for instrument crafting.

The hyegeom was her current muse.

For a while, Iseul thought the stringed instrument could barely hold a note long enough to convey what it meant.

It sounds a bit like a crow's caw, muted and extended in various notes, as if it had heard a song bird and cried in envy.

As odd as it may sound at first, the cries of the hyegeom eventually grew on her and soon enough,

Iseul was out and about her mountain, looking for just the right tree to cut down.

Father usually used oak to make furniture and the rarer birch tree to decorate in contrast with the darker oak.

Iseul's favorite was the pine that sprinkled across the entire mountain range.

She loved them for their softness and lightness which perfectly suited her coarse temperament.

Hammering away at the pieces of wood, pine would indulge her stubbornness to bend and twist it to her will.

Even when winter came and left the fields and hills covered in a dreary white,

and the leafless tree trunks boasted of its uniform color,

the pine tree's green bristles always reminded her that spring would come soon enough.

August was the month of harvest, and while everyone was busy lending a helping hand before the frosts arrived, three kids roamed the mountains of Yeoju.

"Yeong-Hoon oppa!" Iseul called to her fiancé, "I don't know why it isn't working."

She banged the side of the radio.

"I told you it'll be easier if I just do it." He took Iseul's spot as the radio mechanic.

Though a cripple whose left leg limped a stepbehind the right, Yeong-Hoon was a man among men—

a responsible fellow whose past had always struck Iseul as mysterious, confusing and perhaps even amusing.

He was a man of the sea; he could feel the strength of the ocean coarse through his blood,

harnessing the power of the waves to travel here and there.

Where he went, he could never figure out. His memories ended there, but it did not bother him much.

He knew that a part of him would always yearn to go back, but something drew him to Iseul.

She had no exterior that stood guard of what was inside; prying was never necessary.

It was not in a way that made her dull, but perhaps the best way to describe it is peace, a steady wave of ease washing over him.

It was enough to make him stay and forget what little he remembered about the sea.

He had shown up one day at her family home and long before Iseul knew what the word 'fiancé' meant,

her parents had decided she was to be engaged to this fine young gentleman.

Like all things, Iseul protested when she found out.

But when the village kids bullied Yeong-Hoon for being a cripple and criticized her parents for upholding such old traditions,

Iseul found herself seriously conflicted as to which of the two sides deserved greater protest.

Sentiment had never been the issue—she really couldn't care less who she married at that age, but eventually, by means of rote calculations, she conceded.

With many more voices to protest against in the village, and with the sudden passing of Iseul's mother, the village voices vastly outnumbered the ones at home and soon,

she protested against the villagers and became amenable to the idea of a traditional marriage.

Besides, the villagers didn't know Yeong-Hoon like she did.

He had always had a special gift: a heart so big, ears wide open and eyes that pierced through the most hardened exterior and peered into souls.

It was a difficult gift to notice at first, but anyone who would give him the time of day would quickly be blind to his crippled state.

Iseul was certain of it!

Since that fateful day, Iseul and Yeong-Hoon grew up as siblings-fiancés and with the addition of Jung-Soo, the three became inseparable.

"What'll you do for me if I win this round?" Jung-Soo beckoned Iseul with her favorite 'ja-chi-gi' stick.

"What will you do for me if I win," Iseul ran towards Jung-Soo who was already practicing batting the 'baby stick' with the larger one.

"Would you two quiet down a bit! I can't hear the radio," Yeong-Hoon said.

"Sorry, Hyung." Jung-Soo said, turning to Iseul. "I'll make a radio for you."

"Really? You can do that?" Iseul naively said. She looked at Jung-soo suspiciously,

"Then why do you always steal the village radio if you can make your own?"

He grunted.

"Fine! What do you want?"

"Teach me how read."

"Read?

"And what will a simple girl like you do once you learn?"

"Well…" she began thinking, "I haven't thought that far ahead yet."

Jung-Soo had that smug look again that only meant she was being made a fool of.

"After all the things I've done for you, you should be glad I still hang around such a snobby rich kid! That's the least you can do for me!"

Jung-Soo had long outgrown his childish egoism, but who could resist teasing this girl?

"Alright alright." He pretended to concede, "Reading isn't hard at all.

I'm sure I can get even someone like you reading in no time!" Jung-Soo boasted. "But if I win, you have to teach me as well."

"Teach you?" Iseul couldn't possibly conceive of a single thing Jung-soo could learn from her.

"Carpentry!" He said.

"Oh…"

"I want to learn how to work with wood."

"And what's a rich boy like you going to do with that? Why don't you ask Yeong-Hoon since he's the real expert,"

She said, "Oppa," she called to Yeong-Hoon, "Jung-Soo wants to learn…"

But before Iseul could finish her sentence, Jung-soo leaped to cover Iseul's mouth.

"Owww!! What's wrong with you!"

"Sorry, it's just that… you see…" Jung-Soo hesitated,

"Maybe it's better if he doesn't find out, you know, with him spending so much time with your father and all."

"What do you mean?"

Iseul hadn't always been the brightest when it came to these things. We call it "noon chi," meaning wit or sense.

"Seriously, work on your noon-chi." Jung-Soo said.

Iseul eyed him suspiciously. "I see what you're doing here! You're trying to get me distracted so that you'll win the game! You sly little brat!"

Jung-Soo gave up. He stuck his tongue out at her, "You go first. Count to three, and you're disqualified."

"No fair!"

Iseul yanked the stick from Jung-Soo's hand and scurried to her place.

Jung-Soo began his count, "One… two…"

She readied herself to swing the batting stick.

"Three!"

Three things happened at once, only one of which caught Iseul's attention.

With all her might, Iseul swung her stick just as Yeong-Hoon yelled "Got it!" as the radio came roaring alive.

Buried under the sound of the blaring radio was Jung-Soo's painful "Owwww!!" as Iseul swung at a rather tender spot.

"Turn it up!" Iseul said as the lyrics wistfully sang the classic, "Tears for my hometown village, Mokpo,"

completely oblivious to the fact that she had almost emasculated Jung-Soo.

Yeong-Hoon chortled under his breath watching Jung-Soo cradle his crotch.

"Turn the channel! I hate that song!" Jung-Soo whimpered, limping towards the other two.

The Jachi-gi game was quickly forgotten as the three huddled around the radio.

It had become a sort of ritual of theirs, chasing radio channels like fireflies, as Iseul would often say.

Jung-Soo and Iseul would often tug the radio back and forth, run after each other up and down the hill

to find the perfect spot where the trees didn't block out too much of the sound coming through.

At times, they would listen to the classics or what Jung-Soo called old-fashioned, and at other times

they would get lost in the stories of adventure, friendship, love and even loss through the sound waves that briefly came and fluttered away with the wind.

The next channel came on.

"We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you this public service announcement:

The election results are finally in! Today, August 15th, 1948 marks a historic day for our nation, the Republic of Korea.

Yes, it is official, we are finally a democratic nation! The United Nations has announced…."

The three listened on, petrified.

"We're in so much trouble…" Iseul's voice lingered.

The whole the village would have heard the news by now and one-by-one would be making their way to Mi-jung's restaurant,

looking forward to listening to the Presidential address and celebrate their independence.

Iseul could imagine Mi-Jung's mother panicking as she opened the cabinet in the restaurant to find the radio missing.

The three shuffled like deer being hunted.

Yeong-Hoon packed the radio, placing it back into the make shift rice sack.

"Jung-Soo! We're depending on you!" he said.

Jung-Soo let out a little groan. "Why do I always have to do all the running?"

Iseul shot a look at him. "You should have thought of that before you went ahead and 'borrowed' the village's only emergency radio."

Jung-Soo begrudgingly put the knapsack onand began his descent, first limping and when his crotch finally eased up,

he ran and disappeared between the trees.

"What's wrong with him? Did he hurt his leg on the way up?" Iseul said, noticing Jung-soo's limp.

Yeong-Hoon smirked, "He'll be fine."

With a worried look on her face, Iseul and Yeong-Hoon also made their way towards the village, Yeong-Hoon limping a step behind her quickening pace.

***

Rarely did the the village come alive as it did in times of celebration.

Children populated the edges of the restaurant, skipping stones to a song they didn't know wasn't in their own language

as the farmers and their sons drifted inside in batches of three and four.

To add to the festivities, women gathered together, bringing in root vegetables they had cultivated in a patch of land around their homes,

bartering with each other to be part of the merriments at the restaurant.

Mi-Jung's mother took them gratefully, putting a few of women to work, and bringing out larger mats to accommodate the sudden influx.

"A bit more rice wine here!" The village scholar roared.

Mi-Jung, who was serving beef broth to Mr. Park heard the call and ran back towards the kitchen.

Jung-Soo approached the restaurant from the side, closing in on the little girls playing hopscotch,

nearly tripping over them as he barely hung on to the knapsack.

He could see the village leaders gathered inside the restaurant where the radio belonged, the dusty yard quickly filling with farmers.

It was clear Jung-Soo needed a stealthy plan to place the radio back, and a quick one at that.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw his father, seated among the leaders, his silhouette sipping rice wine and nodding at the others.

So, he was finally back in the village, Jung-Soo thought. How long till he would disappear again?

"Ah my dear Jung-Soo," a familiar voice approached from behind, a sturdy pat landing on his shoulder.

Jung-Soo froze in place but turned around to see a local farmer, Mr. Lim.

He was one of his father's loyal dogs.

"I see you've come to hear the presidential address! Ah look at you, a real Korean patriot! Your father must be so proud."

Jung-Soo politely nodded, as Iseul taught him was proper ettiquete.

"You must know my son, Byung-Guk." Mr. Lim said, pulling his son in next to him.

Byung Guk was drenched in sweat, the whit fabric of his work clothes clinging onto his skin.

He shot Jung-Soo a look of such blatant disgust that it got Jung-Soo thinking…

"Of course I do, Mr. Lim! We're best buddies at school!"

Jung-Soo replied in a sickeningly superficial tone, putting his arm around Byung Guk as he let out an involuntary sigh of disgust.

Another farmer from across the yard called on Mr. Lim,

"Why don't you let your son loose for a while and come spend time with someone your own age!"

For that brief moment Mr. Lim's attention had been diverted, Jung-Soo took the opportunity to make his case.

Tightening his grip on Byung-Guk in a head lock, he whispered, "Do me a favor this one time!

If you do this, I promise I won't tell your father that you skipped school to spy on Mi-Jung."

"Who told you that?"

Byung-Guk's wrestled, attempting free himself, but it was useless.

"I'll be right there!" Mr. Lim yelled and when he faced the boys again, Byung-Guk already had a crooked smile on and stopped trying to wriggle out.

"Two strong and sturdy Korean boys! Here," Mr. Lim forced a Jeon coin into Jung-Soo's hand,

"You two grab a hearty bowl of bone broth as you listen to the broadcast."

Before Jung-Soo could refuse the money, aswas proper etiquette, Mr. Lim was already on his way to his friends.

Jung-Soo unclasped his headlock and lookeddown at the Japanese coin.

"What? What is it you want from me?" Byung-Guk said, suspiciously.

"It really is the simplest favor," he said, passing along the rice sack covering the radio within,

"You see that large wooden cabinet next to where the men are sitting?"

"Yeah…" Byung-Guk said. Looking in the direction, he found Mi-Jung wiping a bead of sweat off her forehead as she ran back and forth from the kitchen.

"All you have to do is get this bag in there! Simple, isn't it?"

Byung-Guk took a long look at the knapsack, his hands hesitating and curious as to what was inside.

He didn't want to know.

Taking another look at Mi-jung, the knapsack and the room full of men, he tore the knapsack out of Jung-Soo's arm and grunted.

"Fine, but if this goes wrong, I'm taking you down with me."

"Don't think I don't know what you and your commy friends are up to when you skip school."

It was a fearless threat—one a mere farmer's boy wouldn't do to the Prince of the Golden Palace without any real proof.

Jung-Soo deserved it; it was a threat for a threat.

"Thanks, my friend." Jung-Soo said nonchalantly as he flicked the Japanese coin to Byung-Guk who barely caught it mid-air.

With nothing to hide anymore, Jung-Soo trotted amongst the farmers

towards the entrance where he saw two distant figures approaching.

Byung-Guk fumed, one arm embracing the knapsack and in the other hand, holding his own father's money.

Iseul ran up to Jung-Soo. "What happened? Did you get in trouble?"

"Who do you think you're talking to? Of course not! I'm Jung-Soo and the situation is under control." He said, smugly.

"What'd you do now?" Yeong-Hoon said with a disconcerting look.

Inside the restaurant a familiar voice projected loud enough for the three to hear.

"Who are you, boy," a man sternly said. It was the Captain of the Guards of the Golden Palace, wrestling Byung-Guk in the restaurant,

the radio spilling from the knapsack with a thud on the wooden floor.

"Oh no…" Jung-Soo mumbled.

"I said who are you, boy?" The Captain's voice grew louder as the festivities in the yard turned into murmurs of concern.

"I'm Byung-Guk, sir."

One of the leaders seemed to have recognized the boy. "Oh yes, Byung-Guk. That's Lim's boy."

He let out a chuckle, failing to lighten the mood.

Half-way through delivering the next bowl of soup, Mi-Jung noticed the commotion.

The guards surrounded the boy, holding andpatting him down, but Byung-Guk wasn't having any of it,

elbowing and fidgeting as much as possible as he yelled, "Get off me! I didn't do anything wrong! I said get off me!"

"Where did you get this radio?" the Captain said.

Mr. Lim's head turned from his chess game at a familiar voice,

his face pale white as he ran and kneeled in front of a man who sat sipping his rice wine.

It was Jung-Soo's father, Ham Young-Nam.

"I'm so sorry sir, I apologize," Mr. Lim said to him.

Jung-Soo's father turned his head ever so slightly towards the entrance where Jung-Soo, Iseul and Yeong-Hoon looked on.

Jung-Soo's eyes flickered in recognition as he struggled to keep eye contact with the man.

"Oh no, Jung-Soo," Iseul said, "tell me you're not responsible for this."

Jung-Soo didn't blink as the stand off continued.

Of all the people in this world, Jung-Soo promised he would not back down to his father.

The leader broke first, turning away as he spoke to his Captain.

"Let go of him." He commanded in his soft-spoken tone that did nothing to take the edge off his words,

"Can't you see he is a wise boy? He used the eastern entrance, since the western one was occupied."

Jung-Soo knew all too well about his father and the games he played.

His father had always loved riddles and numbers, as if being a good father meant that he confuses his children with useless proverbs.

The Captain let the boy go as Mr. Lim profusely thanked Mr. Ham for his graciousness.

One at a time, the leaders held their cups up. "Nothing to worry about" an older man said, "Drink! Let's drink to our new country!"

The festivities continued as Jung-Soo turnedaround and began walking away from the restaurant.

"Aren't you going to clear that up?" Yeong-Hoon said as he followed behind.

"There is nothing to clear up. I did nothing wrong." Jung-Soo said matter-of-factly.

"Do you think your father knows?" Iseul asked.

Jung-Soo could only smile at the girl.

He ruffled her hair as he would to a little child and said, "No, he's clueless about it all. That's why he kept looking at me."

He looked at Yeong-Hoon who was clearly thinking the same endearing thoughts of this girl with no 'noonchi'.

"So what's next? What should we do now?" Jung-Soo said, the mischievous tone already back in his voice.

A hand grabbed and pulled Jung-Soo back. It was the Captain.

"Sir," he said formally, "your father would like to see you tonight."

Jung-Soo hesitated. There was always something going on.

He didn't want to know. And he was quite certain his father would rather keep things to himself too.

He looked at the Captain searching for more… "Please don't be late this time." The Captain said as he bowed and walked away.

"When did your father's get back to Yeoju?" Iseul asked.

Jung-Soo chuckled, glancing down at his western-made watch.

"Hyung!" he said to Yeong-Hoon, "It's already five-thirty!"

Both Iseul and Yeong-Hoon looked to the mountains where they saw the sun quickly disappearing.

"What?" Iseul said, grabbing Yeong-Hoon by the hand, and pulling him into a jog towards the hills.

"Gotta run, Jung-Soo. Good luck with your father tonight, Bye!"

Yeong-Hoon could tell Jung-Soo wanted to say more, but the opportunity had passed.

Jung-Soo kept his hand waving long after the two had gone.

He looked down at his watch again. It was the only watch that existed in the small village.

He took a deep breath and dragged his feet the other way towards his home—

he was going to the Golden Palace.

Rework By Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson - Book Review - Duration: 4:04.

how's it going everyone my name is Dono

and this is how to happy. In this video

we're going to be doing a book review of

the book rework. So rework is best for

those who are interested in starting a

business or have a business and want a

light and conversational read the

difficulty to digest is really low you

should be able to get something from it

just by skimming the chapters they're super short.

A lot of them are just a paragraph

or two the concepts are all really

refined and easy to understand moving on

to the key insights rework is a book

that is aimed at those who want to have

a business or already have one or are

leaders and want a few quick wins a few

quick ideas that they can use one of the

big themes that keeps coming through in

the book is to execute on simple ideas

basically the idea being that the more

complicated something gets the more

opportunities there are for it to face

roadblocks they also emphasize to go

through quick iteration so get something

done not worry about perfectionism and

then as you go kind of adjust it keep

the ideas simple use common sense and

keep pushing forward another big part of

the book is to use your own common sense

and intuition instead of deferring to

Authority so for example they say why do

you want to grow your business if you

don't have good reasons for wanting to

grow your business maybe you shouldn't

common knowledge says most of the time

that that is something that you should

do so they just challenge you to think

about things and think about your own

goals and ideas and what you want to

accomplish one other big thrust in the

book is this idea of work-life balance

and they iterate several times that if

you're firing a hundred percent all the

time eventually going to burn out and

once you burn out either your work is

going to suffer or you are going to

suffer and it's just not going to be

good so they highly emphasize taking

time for yourself to really work out

your work life balance other

considerations so there's a lot of

really good points in this book but

because of how

short it is and how short the concepts

are sometimes it can be hard to

understanding exactly what the authors

are trying to say or it can be easy to

misinterpret what they're saying because

there's not enough supporting details to

make the concept really strong that

being said it is super approachable and

as long as you're able to kind of pull

the ideas out for yourself and think

about them then you should be able to

get quite a bit of value. When reading

the book use one of their own ideas

which is to keep things simple don't

overcomplicate don't overthink what it

is the ideas are supposed to be really

simple and easy to digest let's move on

to the applicable content a huge theme in

rework is simplification and clean

execution what's one thing you can start

or stop doing to simplify your own life

we often let others expectations guide

us in a certain direction occasionally

one that isn't a good fit is there

anything you've been considering but are

hesitant about because of other people's

opinions or expectations why do they

have those expectations is that really

the right choice for you? consider your

work-life balance for a moment do you

feel happy and productive is there

anything you could change to become even

more happy or productive? so those are a

few questions again the main thrust of

the book is to just really keep things

simple and streamlined get a bunch of

stuff done and maintain a good work-life

balance there are some more nuanced

points in there if you want to check the

book out I will have a link down in the

box below and that's all I've got for

this video so if you have any questions

comments topics you want me to cover as

always also put those down in the box

below and I will see you next time you

can check out more content at how to

happy.com also don't forget to subscribe

so you can stay up to date on the videos

we've also got a Twitter Instagram and

Facebook you can check out reflect take

action and enjoy life see you next time

What Is the ECI? - Duration: 1:33.

For years, the Bureau of Labor statistics has provided businesses with important pieces

of information.

One of these is the cost of employees to their employers, and it's called

the Employment Cost Index, or ECI.

The ECI is a Principal Federal Economic Indicator Which simply put, means it's widely-used

data on how labor costs are changing and how the economy is performing.

Here's why the ECI is important.

It shows how the cost of compensating employees changes over time.

It does that by measuring the cost of wages, as well as the cost of benefits.

Many people think that when they get paid, they're just getting paid their wage -

their paycheck.

However, their paycheck is typically only around two-thirds of their compensation.

The remainder is the benefits the company provides to them.

Like what employers pay for health insurance, for retirement plans,

and their cost to provide paid time off.

So you can see how the ECI measures the whole cost for an employer to compensate their employees.

This information is incredibly helpful when employers are determining how much of a raise

to give their employees and how to stay competitive in the labor market.

It's also useful when employers are thinking about how pay and benefits affect their bottom line,

and when they are considering starting new businesses or moving to new areas.

To find out how the ECI can help you visit us at bls.gov/eci
