Prince George�s nanny won�t be taking care of the little prince too much longer.
Jessie Webb, age 71, only came out of retirement because Prince William begged her to look
after his baby boy like she looked after him when he was little.
She came back under the condition that she�d only work for three months and look how three
months already turned into 6!
According to sources close to Kate Middleton and Wills, they are looking to extend the
contract but are also looking for extra help a new nanny to take to their first tour with
little Georgeto Australia and New Zealand.
When they moved to Kensington Palace last September they convinced Mrs. Webb to join
their household, but being as old as she is, nobody would blame her if she didn�t want
to extend her contract.
�It took a lot of persuading to get Jessie to take the job in the first place, but she
loves William and wanted to help out,� a source told the Daily Mail.
�I can�t imagine that she will want to be travelling around the world at her age.
If she does, she will need an assistant.� The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a busy
schedule planned, criss crossing the two countries in a month, and will need �round the clock
help for George if he joins,� another source added.
�Kate might also want to think about taking a dresser or a lady�s maid,� said the
source.
�It sounds grand, but it�s actually very practical.
The Queen wouldn�t dream of travelling overseas without a lady in waiting.�
Kate�s personal hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker, who visits the palace often, is also
expected to make the trip.
Rumor has it the royal couple initially wanted to take Kate�s mom Carole Middleton to watch
her grandson (why not?), but back in October CDL reported that the idea of Carole accompanying
the family and being George�s babysitter did not get �the blessing of royal officials�,
a.k.a. Queen Elizabeth put her foot down.
Back then we already speculated that Kate�s monster in law Camilla Parker-Bowles had something
to do with it, but now with her dwindling influence at court, the prince and the princess
might want to revisit that thought.
If they get the nanny problem squared away and end up taking little Georgie on the trip
down under it will be very much reminiscent of William�s very own first overseas tour
in 1983 when his parents Prince Charles and late Princess Diana took him on their official
tour to Australia and New Zealand.
