U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has opened up on the Trump administration's North

Korea policy.

He also said there's hope Washington and Beijing can work together to pressure Pyongyang to

give up its nuclear and missile ambitions.

Kim Hyo-sun has more on that.

In an interview with ABC on Sunday,...

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Washington wishes to see a denuclearized Korean

Peninsula,... but has no intention to force regime change in the North.

Tillerson said North Korea seems to have perfected its missile delivery system,... and this is

Washington's greatest concern.

"I think in terms of North Korea, we've been very clear that our objective is a de-nuclearized

Korean peninsula, we have no objective to change the regime in North Korea, that is

not our objective and so the whole reasons underlying the development of a nuclear program

in North Korea are simply not credible."

And in a separate interview with CBS,... Tillerson said China also sees North Korea as a threat,...

adding that presidents Trump and Xi shared that perspective during their recent summit

in Florida.

Emphasizing that there's hope the U.S. and China can cooperate,... he said the conditions

in the minds of the North Korean leadership can be changed.

Tillerson's comments come as one of Trump's security aides told Fox News on Sunday that

the president has asked officials to provide a full range of options when it comes to North

Korea's nuclear issue.

National Security Advisor General H.R. McMaster also described the stationing of the U.S.

Navy strike group near the Korean Peninsula as a prudent decision.

However,...

Russian lawmakers have reportedly expressed concern that Washington's latest move could

spark more unpredictable behavior by the regime.

Calling the deployment very inappropriate,... they warned that North Korea could carry out

unexpected provocations if it feels its security is at stake.

Top nuclear envoys of S. Korea, China to discuss results of Trump-Xi summit - Duration: 1:48.

We start with the crunch talks between Seoul and Beijing,...

Beijing's top nuclear envoy is set to meet his South Korean counterpart... in just a

few hours.

Topping their agenda is last week's U.S.-China summit.

Arirang's Connie Kim leads us off.

China's top nuclear envoy Wu Dawei will be holding talks with his South Korean counterpart

in Seoul to discuss the results of the recently-held U.S.-China summit in Florida.

South Korea's special representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Kim Hong-kyun's

meeting with his Chinese counterpart is the first in 2017 following their nuclear talks

in December.

Wu is expected to explain China's stance on the North Korea issue following the talks

between presidents Trump and Xi. Trump had pushed Beijing to exert more pressure

on Pyongyang,... but China insisted it did not have that degree of influence.

Before dinner with the Chinese president,... Trump ordered missile strikes on a Syrian

airbase,... which many experts said raised the stakes for China... as it could signal

what Washington might do about North Korea.

There is possibility Wu will convey China's stance on a U.S. aircraft carrier-led strike

group that is toward the Korean Peninsula.

U.S. Pacific Command announced on Saturday that it had directed the USS Carl Vinson strike

group to sail north to the Western Pacific after departing Singapore.

Although it did not specifically mention North Korea,... two U.S. officials have reportedly

said the move is designed to send a message to Pyongyang in the face of its escalating

nuclear threats.

During the Chinese nuclear envoy's four to five-day stay in South Korea, Wu plans to

meet South Korea's presidential hopefuls to explain China's North Korea policy and its

opposition to the deployment of the THAAD missile defense system on South Korean soil.

Warm afternoon in central region, overcast skies and rain elsewhere - Duration: 2:20.

Good afternoon.

Today's weather is pretty much a repeat of yesterday's conditions, temperature-wise that

is.

The capital region will have a balmy high of over 20 degrees Celsius while the rest

of the nation will have cooler temperatures due to easterly winds and rain later in the

day.

10 to 40 millimeters of rain are expected for most parts of the southern regions with

Jeju Island and southern coastal regions receiving heavier showers.

So rain and clouds as well as easterly winds will push down the highs to the mid teens

in the east.

Busan and Jeju Island will have a high of 15 degrees while Daegu will get up to 18 while

the rest will see highs hovering in the 20 degrees Celsius range.

Spring is beautiful, but it's also the time of year for seasonal allergies.

Many people with hay fever start to sniffle and sneeze.

To cope with these symptoms, experts say it's best to avoid alcohol and keep clean by taking

a shower as soon as you get home.

As for the weather outlook unseasonably warm temperatures will return to seasonal averages

on Tuesday and nationwide rainfall is in store on Friday afternoon.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.

Nokia 9 With Snapdragon 835 to Cost Rs 44,999 in India: Report from Nokiapoweruser.

Nokia 9 priced at 44999 in India Is it Justified Nokia 9 Release Date Specifications

HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia recently announced three new Android smartphones, the

Nokia 3, the Nokia 5, and the Nokia 6. The newly established company is said to launch

seven to eight Android smartphones ranging from flagship to entry-level segment by the

end of 2017.

Iconic phone manufacturer Nokia just staged what can arguably be called the comeback of

the decade a few weeks ago by launching three Android powered smartphones and a re-incarnation

of the legendary Nokia 3310. Nokia is now set to launch its flagship smartphone, dubbed

the Nokia 9 which is expected to be packed to the gills with features such as an Iris

Scanner, Carl Zeiss cameras and a QuadHD OLED display.

One of them will be the Nokia 9, which at present is the so-called flagship phone of

the company. HMD, with the Nokia 9 will be entering

the flagship space to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6, HTC U Ultra.

According to a new leak from the ever reliable Nokiapoweruser, HMD will announce the Nokia

9 at the end of July or early August. However, it will go for sale only after the Q3 2017

due to the shortage of Snapdragon 835 chip. Interestingly, the source also revealed the

price of the phone for various markets including India. As per the report, the Nokia 9 will

cost Rs. 44,999 in India when it launches, and thats much-expected price and a decent

one if the phone come with top notch hardware or

at least with the rumoured specifications. Also, the phone will be sold for $699 in the

US and 749 Euro in Europe.

As far as the rumoured specifications go, the Nokia 9 will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD

display, and the panel will be an OLED one. The

phone will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, clubbed with 6GB of RAM

and Adreno 540 GPU. The Nokia 9 may feature a 22MP dual camera setup at the back with

Carl Zeiss branding and a 12MP front-facing camera. As seen on the already announced Nokia

phones, the Nokia 9 will also boot near stock Android,

which is one of the USP of Nokias Android phones.

Alongside Nokia 9, HMD will also announce the mid-range Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 smartphones

powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 660 SoC.

The Nokia 8 will be placed in the upper mid-range segment, whereas the Nokia 7 will fill the

company shoes in the sub Rs. 20,000 price bracket. All said, Nokia is looking to foray

into every segment by launching at least one device in the price department possible, and

thats a good strategy by any comeback brand. What do you think of the leaked pricing of

Nokia 9? Will you purchase one going by the rumoured specifications? Let me know in the
