Waching daily Apr 10 2017

we all work really hard and we all

deserve a little rest and relaxation sometimes

welcome back and congratulations on

taking one more step towards becoming one of

the great leaders of tomorrow I can tell

you from experience that sometimes

people who are really driven to succeed

have a hard time relaxing so today I've

got three tips for you as it will help

you disengage from work and take time to

relax and stay tuned to the end because

I'm going to give you a link to download

our free leadership development plan

workbook and that will help you set

goals for your career for the next two

five and ten years and build a plan to

achieve them I'm just starting my spring

break week from my MBA program and I'm

looking forward to it because I've got a few

fun things planned for myself and a few

things I want to accomplish for my business

with my downtime from school now I'm one

of those people who has a really hard

time letting go and relaxing and I tend

to get focused and gravitate looking

back at work and school and those other

things but I'm really supposed to be

taking time to relax and rest and

recharge so these four tips I'm going to

give you today can help you if you're

that same kind of person if you have a

hard time letting go from work whether

it's because because people at work

won't let you let go from work or

because you just stay focused and

gravitate on work like I sometimes do

these four tips will help you disengage

from work disengage from your office and

stay focused on resting and relaxing

during your downtime so you can come back

to your work place recharged and that's

what I plan on doing next week getting

back to school rested and recharged

while still getting a few things

accomplished for myself and for my

business the first tip is to prep your

team before you even walk out the door

for your vacation make sure you

understand who is going to be taking

care of which responsibilities for you

make sure you talk to them and get that

positive hand off that you said I need

you to handle this for me while I'm gone

and they say I got it boss I'm going to

handle it for you while you're gone and

you look each other in the eye and you

make that positive handoff make sure

they know where they need to find or

where they can find all the background

information that might be important if

they have to make a decision while

you're gone make sure they know have all

the access to the files of the cloud

drive or shared servers or whatever it

is that has the information they might

need while you're gone also make sure

they understand what decisions they're

allowed to make while you're gone and

what decisions you really want them to

wait for you to come back for

just like we talked about in our

delegation video a couple weeks back

it's important they understand the

authority that they have as well as the

responsibilities you've given them while

you're gone finally make sure they

understand how to get hold of you in an

emergency and have a conversation about

what a real emergency is you don't want

them contacting you emailing you

phoning you over every little thing so

make sure you kind of have a predefined

definition of what's an emergency and

that they know how to get a hold of you if a

real emergency does pop up the second

tip is commit to a few fun activities

you want to do on your time off whether

you're taking a vacation somewhere or

you're just kind of staying at home and

I'm doing this one this week with myself

this one's really important if you're

like me and you find yourself

gravitating back towards work and

wondering where did my vacation go all I

did was work on my vacation this one's

really important pick a few things that

are fun that you want to do commit to

them put them on the calendar if that

helps you pay for them in advance if

that helps you just over the weekend as

I was getting ready for spring break I

talked to a couple friends we've got two

or three activities planned a couple I'm

doing by myself and a couple I'm doing

with friends but you got to get yourself

committed to those activities and bringing

other people into the activity will help

raise your level of commitment to the

activity I know it helps me but now that

I've got friends committed to do some of

these activities this week I'm going to

be committed to doing them so that I'm

not letting my friends down and we're

all going to go have a good time

together so make sure you commit

yourself to a few fun activities on your

vacation whether you're going somewhere

or you're staying at home but make sure

you don't just let your time float and

you don't want to be wondering where

your time went and why you didn't have

any fun on your vacation when you're

done it's not always possible but try to

cut the cord while you're on vacation

get rid of that electronic leash between

your phone and your email so you can

focus on having fun with your family and

friends and doing those fun activities

that you planned on doing if you use

your phone for your personal life your

phone your computer for email for your

personal life try to schedule some times

of the day during your vacation that are

electronics free that you're not

carrying your phone or a laptop or

whatever device it is you like to use

with you and if that's not possible if

you want to take your phone with you you

want to take pictures you want to post

to social media because that's fun for

you and you want to share your vacation

there are a lot of apps you can find

that will let you block off certain other

apps during certain times of day or for

certain periods of time

and then you can stay focused you can

you can I know it sounds crazy talking

about staying focused on vacation but

again if you're like me and you

gravitate back towards let me just check

my email a little bit let me just check

the to see if I have any messages I'm just going to do it

real quick and then two hours later you

said I just spent two hours of my

vacation answering the working emails

thats something i don't want to do

anymore and i'm probably it's probably

something you don't want to do anymore

so try to cut that electronic cord cut

that electronic leash get yourself away

from it and if you can't leave your

devices behind entirely try to use some

other tools and systems to be

electronics free for certain periods of

the day on your vacation the last tip

I've got for your day is it's okay to

learn a little your vacation doesn't

have to be completely frivolous you can

put a little personal development in

there some things you've been meaning to do

read that new leadership book you've been

wanting to read or that new personal

development or goal setting or whatever

it is even wanting to do and you

just haven't had time to do for work but

do it in moderation right work that in

around your other fun planned activities

that you scheduled if you're just going

to be sitting on the beach or sitting by

the pool it's okay read that book a

little bit but make sure you put it

aside and take some time for those other

fun activities so there are your four tips

for leaving work behind when you take

some time off I know it's a little crazy

to put so much thought into taking your

vacation and taking time off and resting

and recharging relaxing but for a lot of

us who are really driven people without

without some kind of plan in place I

know I would gravitate towards back back

towards work I know I've done that in

the past and I don't want to do that

anymore so I'm using these four tips and

I think if you use these four tips too

the next time you take some time off

whether it's a day or a week and when

you stay at home you go on vacation I

think these four tips will help you stay

engaged with your loved ones your family

and friends and go out and do fun

things with them instead of gravitating

back towards work and will really help

you leave the office behind if you found

this helpful please like comment and

Introduction to WISER - Duration: 4:24.

[Introduction Music]

WISER , an acronym for the Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders, is a resource first responders use

to figure out how todeal with hazardous material incidents like accidents involving tanker trucks or chemical plants.

When first responders arrive at situations involving hazardous materials, they have to quickly assess the situations in order to protect

people and the environment. To do this, they rely on information from several sources, as well as common sense and environmental

factors like wind direction.

WISER aggregates the information into a useful application for Apple and Android devices as well as desktop computers and online at

WebWISER.nlm.nih.gov

It then couples the information from those trusted resources with useful tools like an interactive protective distance map and

comprehensive decision support which provides first responders with the resources and knowledge to save lives and minimize the

impact on the environment and physical property. This video

briefly overviews key features of WISER's iPhone version for a 1st responder. Specific tutorial videos are planned for the future.

WISER gathers chemical, biological and radiological information from a lot of sources including the National Library of Medicine's

Hazardous Substances Data Bank, known as the HSDB, CHEMM, and REMM resources as well as the Department of Transportation's

Hazardous Substances Data Bank, known as the HSDB, CHEMM, and REMM resources as well as the Department of Transportation's

Emergency Response Guidebook 2016, and the WMD Response Guidebook.

The first time you use WISER, it asks you to select a profile that best describes you,

this customizes your home screen and substance data to focus on information that you are more likely to use.

To later change your selection, touch Settings.

We'll start with a quick explanation of Search Known Substances.

If you come to a scene and know exactly what substance you're dealing with you can search for that substance by name or identifier.

Touch the name when it appears,

this screen links to lots of information that you might otherwise have to look for using several resources including the Emergency Response

Guidebook, the NFPA, Protective Distance information, and a protective distance map.

Another likely situation is arriving at an incident and not knowing what the substance is that you are trying to control, contain or treat.

If this happens, touch Help Identify Unknown Chemical.

From here, enter any criteria you know to filter potential hazards by properties and symptoms.

Use the NFPA diamond and transport information to reduce potential results.

When you reduce the number of chemicals to a manageable list, you can touch each one to learn more about it. When you select one, the

same page opens that you saw when you touched a Known Substance from the home page. WISER gives you several different ways

to identify and address hazmat situations.

WISER also includes NLM's CHEMM (an acronym for Chemical Hazards Emergency Medical Management).

CHEMM-IST, the CHEMM Intelligent Syndromes tool, is a prototype decision support tool developed by experts in medicine and emergency

response as an aid for identifying the chemical a patient was exposed to in a mass casualty incident.

The last features that we'll look at in this overview are the radiological tools. They include a dose estimator and radiation unit

converter as well asquick references for emergency contacts and a list of onsite activities. The section includes content from

NLM's Radiation Emergency Medical Management known as the REMM tool and the Radiological Terrorism

Emergency Management pocket guide for Clinicians.

WISER, developed by the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, strives to aggregate the resources emergency

responders need and provide those resources in easy to use ways that help protect you and the people you fearlessly protect.

Bobby Flay's Recipe For Easter: Leg Of Lamb With Sweet And Sour Mint Glaze | TODAY - Duration: 3:52.

>>> EASTER IS LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DELICIOUS AND TRADITIONAL RECIPE

THAT YOUR FAMILY WILL LOVE, WILL BECOME AN INSTANT CLASSIC,

TODAY'S GUEST CO-HOST AND CHEF, BOBBY FLAY, IS GOING TO SHOW US

HOW TO MAKE A PERFECT LEG OF LAMB.

SULLIVAN STAPLETON IS JOINING US.

>> I SNUCK IN FOR THIS. IT'S GREAT.

>> I HAVE TO MAKE LAMB FOR EASTER.

IT'S A TRADITION IN OUR FAMILY. BONELESS LEG OF LAMB.

ASK YOUR BUTCHER TO TIE IT FOR YOU.

WE WILL SERE IT ON TOP OF THE STOVE FIRST.

WE WANT TO GET THE NICE CRUST ON THE OUTSIDE OF IT.

>> HOW LONG DO YOU SERE IT ON EACH SIDE?

>> UNTIL IT'S NICE AND BROWN. PROBABLY FIVE OR SIX MINUTES ON

EACH SIDE. MAKE SURE YOU CONTINUE TO SERE

IT AND TURN IT, JUST LIKE THIS. AND THEN, WHAT I DO, IS AMAKE A

GLAZE. A SWEET AND SOUR MINT GLAZE.

NO MORE MINT JELLY. HONEY, RED WINE VINEGAR.

SOME DIJON MUSTARD AND FRESH MINT.

THAT BECOMES YOUR GLAZE. AND YOU WANT TO SAVE A LITTLE

BIT TO SERVE ON THE SIDE. THAT'S IT.

AND WE'RE GOING TO TAKE THIS. AND WE'RE GOING TO GLAZE THE

LAMB ON THE OUTSIDE. THIS GOES THE OVEN AFTER YOU

SEAR IT. AND YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LEG OF

LAMB. AND YOU CAN BASTE IT WITH THAT

SAUCE, EVERY 15 OR 20 MINUTES. >> THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.

>> WE'RE GOING TO SERVE A COUPLE OF THICKS WITH IT.

I LIKE YOGURT WITH LAMB. IT HAS A GOOD COOLING EFFECT.

WE'RE GOING TO ADD BEAT JUICE THAT YOU CAN BUY IN THE STORE.

AND A LITTLE SALT AND PEPPER AND MINT AND FRESH DILL.

>> WHY DON'T PEOPLE LIKE LAMB? >> I THINK IT'S A PRECONCEIVED

IDEA OF WHAT LAMB TASTES LIKE. THAT IT WILL BE GAMEY.

AND LOOK AT THE COLOR OF THE YOGURT WITH THE BEATS.

YOU GET THE BEATS AND THAT PASTEL COLOR.

>> A IT'S A LITTLE SWEET, TOO. >> A LITTLE SWEET, A LITTLE

TART. AND WE HAVE POTATOES.

SULLY -- BECAUSE WE'RE GOOD FRIENDS NOW.

SAID TO ME, WHEN WE DID THE PIECE BEFORE, HE SAID, DO YOU

BLANCH THEM FIRST? AND HE'S 100% RIGHT.

YOU BLANCH THEM AND THEN YOU PAN ROAST THEM TO GET NICE AND

BROWN. AND I HAVE A PESTO WITH SPRING

ONIONS, OR SCALLIONS. INSTEAD OF BASIL, IT WOULD BE

THIS. >> HOW DO YOU -- THE BEST WAY --

>> SLICE IT. >> SLICING.

>> EXACTLY. HERE WE GO.

I ALMOST FORGOT, AL. >> I WON'T LET YOU FORGET.

>> ABOUT HALF AN INCH. AND LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL THAT LAMB

IS. >> MY GOSH.

>> I LIKE TO COOK MY LAMB MEDIUM.

MEDIUM TO MEDIUM RARE, ALONG THOSE LINES.

>> THIS IS SO GOOD. WE CAN'T STOP.

>> AMAZING. WHAT OTHER MEAT DO YOU LIKE

SERVING AT EASTER? >> BEEF TENDERLOIN WOULD BE A

CLASSIC ALSO. OF COURSE, YOU CAN DO CHICKEN.

TO ME, IF YOU'RE GOING TO SERVE LAMB ONCE A YEAR, DO IT AT THIS

TIME OF THE YEAR. IT'S SPRING.

WE HAVE THE HOLIDAYS. IT'S A GOOD WAY TO BRING OUT

SPRING ONIONS. YOU CAN SERVE ASPARAGUS WITH IT.

FREEBIES AND SAMPLES MARCH 2017 - FREE REVIEW PRODUCTS | KOSMIC KRISTEN - Duration: 10:19.

Hey Everyone, It's Kristen

and today we are going to be doing a video that I have wanted

to do for a really long time

and that is another freebie and sample video

if you have been watching my channel for a while

then you know I used to be very much into

Freebies, Samples, Free product in exchange for review

anything like that, giveaway wins , sweepstakes

all that good stuff

and then stuff happened with amazon and they

wouldn't let you review anymore

and like a lot of websites almost completely went out of business over night

like some sites are like almost useless now

so, since then I have been trying to find

other ways of getting freebies

as well as using the free product review sites that are still around

and getting free stuff where I can

so if you have seen my other videos in the past

I may not get as much stuff

but I still get some pretty good stuff

that's worth knowing about and if

you are interested you can go out and try the sites yourself

today I am going to be showing you all the stuff I got

in March, and hopefully, this comes out in the beginning of April

so you guys can see

and then I will be doing it at the beginning of the month for the previous months freebies

I used to have enough stuff to do a video every week

but there's not that much stuff anymore

so we are going to be doing it every month

and hopefully I will have stuff to show you

I do have some stuff in the works that I know is coming

for next months so this month and next month are a go

so I'm going to go ahead and show you what I got

The first item that we have for the month of March is

a Strainer

this item I got from AMZ Review Trader

and this is the only item I have gotten from them in like a year

probably close to a year , not quite yet a year

pretty much after they stopped doing Amazon reviews

like no one wants to give out their stuff anymore

for free if you are not required to do a review anymore

this was the nicest item that was for free

and I go on there every couple of days or so

just to see if there's anything

but now you can't really get a lot for free

you can still find a good deal on there

so if you are interested in getting discounts

in exchange for possibly doing review

you don't have to do a review but that's kinda the idea

then you can and try out amazon review trader

sometimes you do get free but there is far less then their used to be

which very much saddens me but it is what it is

the next item we have today is a book

this book is called "Lola"

this book came from a website called Blogging for Books

and what you can do is , you can go on there and tell them

a little bit about yourself and your social media following

and you can also pick from different types of genres

like mystery or cook books or anything like that

and depending on the variety that they have to give you

you can see what is in those different catagories

and you can review the book

you have to read it and write a review about it

and then you get to keep the book for free

you can also get the E copy for the book

if you prefer and you have a kindle or ipad

but I personally like the print version

the thing with Blogging for books is as long as you are

completing your review you can request a new book every month

as long as there are books there

I have gone a couple months where there wasn't anything that I was

interested in reading or there were just a few books and didn't want those

and then you just have to keep checking back

you can not get one every month if you are not already finished

with the review that you have to do

so you need to keep current on that

but very easy to do. you have to write a whole lot just a paragraph

telling people what you think about it

and if for some reason you don't end up liking the book

you can say that in your review

you don't have to leave a positive review

but if you don't like it my suggestion would be to

donate to your local library because I would hate to see a book go to waste

there's always that option if you are interested

Next thing I got for free is technically not a freebie

for everyone, it's just something that I got for free

I still feel like it's worthy of showing you

the things that you could get if you were to become a reviewer

I like to show you what is possible to get out there

if you do become a reviewer

you don't necessarily have to become a reviewer on youtube

you can still do it on your blog or website

I like to show you guys what is out there

and for this month the Fandom of the month club

was generous enough to give me this box

if you guys are interested in seeing what's in this very cute box

I will leave a link somewhere up here where I do the unboxing of it

again this is not something that you can just go and request

but if you are a reviewer and you have a following

you think may be interested you can contact them

and ask them about it but

I don't want you guys all to think that it's a given for free

but it is out there

and there are lots of places that will give you guys free stuff

if you ask them and you have a certain amount of followers

usually you have to have an active following

you may have to have a certain amount of followers for some people

but if you are really interested in a product

and you can ask them like "Hey I'm a reviewer and I will make a video about it,

whether I like it or not " and they will usually send you the product for free

if you have enough followers and they do that type of thing

So I just suggest that if you guys are interested in reviewing

that you reach out to a few people that may give you free stuff that way

Next here we have a very big box here

and this box is from Bzz Agent

it has been a long time since I have gotten anything from them

I'm very happy about this one

this one is three cans of the Febreeze One Fabric and Air Spray

and they are three different scents

this one is Mandarin Orange

Bamboo

and we have Orchid

they also gave us three buy one get one free coupons

and they also included their little checklist and things that you have to do

I've talked abut Bzz Agent before in my earlier videos

I've never actually done a whole dedicated video to it

and I still do plan to do that

I just haven't gotten around to sitting down and telling you everything there is to know

about Bzz Agent

but if you guys are interested then give me a thumbs ups and

and let me know in the comments

and I will try to make that sooner rather than later

with Bzz Agent it is a place where you can go take surveys

and based upon what you say and like who you are as a person

if you're young , if you're old , if you're a woman, if you're a man

they will give you different products based upon those things

and the questions that you answer

they will send you the product for free

usually it's at least one full sized item

sometimes it's one full size and a couple different samples

and sometimes it's a couple of full sized items

this is one of the nicer boxes that I have gotten from them

once you get the products there will be a list of tasks

that you will have to complete

social media sometimes doing a video, an unboxing it all depends

on what the product is

and they are usually pretty easy to do

so just for reviewing and telling people about it you get it for free

so if you are interested in that then I will out the link do below

again let me know if you would like me to do a video about Bzz Agent

and how to use it

and the last two items are two Vox Boxes from Influenster

Influenster has been loving me lately

I thank infuenster so much for giving me these products

the first box that we have here is from Ole Hinricksen

and in here we have three full sized products

all of them are skin care products

the first one is the Ole Hinricksen balancing pores oil control toner

the counter balance oil control hydrator

and the find your balance oil control cleanser

and I hope to be doing a further review and showing you guys more

in a future video

and then lastly

the best thing that I got this entire month is the Lancome Paris

Infuenster Vox Box

this is so nice you guys

I am so excited to get this

in here we have four full sized Lancome makeup products

this is the first time I have had the opportunity to try out Lancome makeup

and they are great

if you guys would like to see my review I will link it somewhere up here

so what we got in this box is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Makeup stick

the Lancome Click and Glow and this is a highlighter

the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer

and the metallic effect lip lacquer which is lipgloss

Influenster definitely has to be one of my favorite

places to get free products from

I have done a video completely about them and how to use it

so if you are interested go see that video

a lot of links to other videos in this video

but a lot of different things going on here

so if you guys are interested in finding out more about Influesnter

then check that out or see the link down below to sign up

that concludes my freebie and sample video for this month

hopefully I will continually get more free products

and sample products

so I can show you guys at least one video every month

I do miss doing freebies so that is why I'm getting back into it

it is something that I have always loved to do

and always wanted my channel to at least be partially about

as well as my makeup videos , tutorials and reviews

let me know what you guys think of this video

if you guys have any questions about the sites I've mentioned

then leave them in the comments and I will do my best

to help you out with those questions

if you are interested in seeing future videos

talking about freebies , freebie sites, reviews , sample products or

even beauty tutorials and reviews than please subscribe to my channel

and like me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and all those links are down below

Thank you sooo so much for watching!

//Eunwoo keeps on saying the script without failure!//

MB: Wait a sec! It's kinda look empty there, put a TV there!

AST: TV? MB: Yeah!

Travel Reimbursement System - Entering Expenses for an International Trip - Duration: 8:45.

Welcome to this video on the Travel Reimbursement System.

Over the next several minutes we will discuss how to enter your trip expenses for an international

trip.

Many of the steps are the same as those in a domestic trip, and are discussed in a separate

video found at travel.berkeley.edu/domestictrip.

In this video, we will focus our attention on what makes preparing an international travel

expense report unique.

Let's get started.

To bring up the Travel Reimbursement System, point your browser to https://reimburse.berkeley.edu.

Make sure you include an "s" after http.

Then, click the Go button and authenticate using your CalNet ID.

Next, select the link labeled "Create New".

Spend a moment and read these general instructions closely.

And when you're ready to start preparing your report, click the button labeled "Let's Begin".

You begin at the Traveler Information page.

This is where you identify your affiliation with the university and select a Preferred

Approver.

Once you submit your report, this approver receives an email notifying them that your

travel report is awaiting their approval.

If you get stuck along the way, try the "Help for this page" link.

It's a great resource with answers to many frequently asked questions.

Once you've completed this page, click "Save & Continue".

Next comes the Trip Information page.

Here is where you enter specifics about the trip such as the business purpose for each

leg of the trip, duration, number of stops, and destinations.

In the Trip Destination field, type the city and country of visitation and in the adjacent

pull-down menu, select "International, or Off Shore US".

Alaska and Hawaii are classified as Off Shore US.

Complete the rest of this page by entering the dates and times as prompted and click

Save & Continue.

If your trip had more than one leg, you will be asked to enter information about the subsequent

legs.

Otherwise, you will advance to the Location Expenses page.

This is where you start entering your actual expenses for the location listed at the top

of the page.

Each time you enter an expense, click the green "Save This Expense" button to add it

to your report.

If any of these receipts were paid in a foreign currency, you will need to convert the receipt

amount into US Dollars first.

If you used a credit card to pay for the expense, then you should be able to find the amount

converted to US Dollars on your credit card statement.

Otherwise, the system provides a link that takes you to a website with a currency calculator.

Once you've entered all your transportation and miscellaneous expenses in US Dollars,

click Save and Continue.

You are now on the Special Circumstances page.

This is where you'll find the most significant change from entering expenses for a domestic

trip.

When traveling internationally, UC policy sets a maximum daily amount that can be spent

for meals, incidentals and lodging.

That daily maximum is based on US federal rates for cities and regions around the world.

To begin, use the federal rate link on this page to search for the rates for each destination

of your trip.

This link takes you to a web page managed by the U.S. State Department.

Go to the "Outside CONUS" section and select the country you visited.

Next, from the Published drop-down menu, pick the time period you were at that

location.

Also, if your trip exceeded 30 days, check the box next to "Flat Rate per Diem for TDY

over 30 days".

Once everything is set up, click the "Calculate" button.

Locate your city destination.

If you can't find it, use the Per Diem rates for "Other".

Now write down the maximum lodging, meals and incidentals amounts for that region.

This is the maximum US dollar amount you may be reimbursed per day for these expense types.

When you're done, go back to the Travel Reimbursement System.

Enter the Per Diem values you pulled from the State Department website.

In the Meals and Incidentals field make sure that the value you enter is the sum of federal

rates for those items.

Now you may choose an expense reporting method.

The Actual, itemized method allows you to specify exactly how much you paid for meals,

incidentals and lodging on each day you were on business travel status.

The Per Diem method allows for a flat daily reimbursement rate that can be less than or

equal to the federal rate.

Indicate the reimbursement method from the drop down menu.

No matter which method is used, you should not request reimbursement for more than you

paid.

Also, keep in mind that the method you select must be used through this report for all destinations.

Next, read the Special Circumstances section.

If any of the situations apply, check the appropriate box and enter an explanation.

If there are no special circumstances, select the box that no Special Circumstances are

being reported.

When you've completed this page, click Save and Continue.

If you used the Per Diem expense reporting method, the Daily Expenses page calculates

the amount you will be reimbursed for your Meals and Incidentals as well as your Lodging.

Keep in mind that in compliance with IRS rules the system prorates these amounts in quarter

day intervals.

The pro rate is based on the dates and times you entered on the Trip Information page.

Click Save and Continue to move on to the Totals page.

Now suppose that during the previous step you selected the Actual Itemized expense method.

In that case, the Daily Expenses page would look like this.

Here you would enter each of your daily meal and incidental expenses in US Dollars.

Do the same with your lodging amounts as well.

Be aware that you will not be reimbursed beyond the daily maximum amount for each day.

Also, the first and last day for that destination may be prorated depending on the dates and

times you entered on the Trip Information page.

When you're done, click Save and Continue to advance to the Totals page.

The Totals page displays your full reimbursement amount and subtotals your expenses according

to the General Ledger account-type.

If there is a reason you want to reduce the reimbursement amount, select the "Reduce Reimbursement

Amount" link.

Now it is time to allocate your expenses to a funding source.

Do this by clicking the "Choose Account Type" pull-down menu.

Pick out an account type.

In this example, we'll start with airfare.

See how the amount that falls under that GL Account is automatically entered into the

Amount field.

This amount is editable in case you want to split the expense across multiple funding

sources.

Now indicate which funding source you wish to use.

You can choose a chartstring that you saved to your profile or enter a new one entirely.

If this is your first time using the Travel Reimbursement system, you will need to enter

a new chartstring.

Notice how the system automatically fills in the Account chartfield for you based on

the account-type.

If you are unsure which of the remaining chartfields you wish to use, you can always click Save

and Continue and return to this expense report later.

In this example, we already have determined which chartstring to use.

You are encouraged to enter a nickname for each chartstring.

This makes it each to identify which chartstring to use the next time you log into the system.

Chartstrings are saved to your profile by checking the "Save this chart string to my

profile" box.

Once you've matched an account type with a chartstring, click the green "Enter Expense

Distribution" button.

If need to split your trip expenses among multiple chartstrings, for example between

a department and a grant fund, then just repeat the process but enter another chartstring

as your funding source.

Notice how the system tells you the remaining dollars that remain unallocated.

Continue allocating your expenses to a chartstring until the Amount to Distribute reaches zero.

From the Submit page, click "Submit report to the Home Department Approver."

It's also important that you follow the instructions to submit your receipts and backup

documentation.

That's it.

Anytime that you wish to view the status of your reimbursement request, go back to the

Main Menu and select Track Reports.

This concludes this video.

If you have questions or need assistance, please see more information about the reimbursement

process on our website at travel.berkeley.edu.

You may also email the accounts payable office at travel@berkeley.edu.

Thank you for taking the time to watch this video.

Learn English - Weekly Tip 25 for Russian Speakers - enough hard or hard enough? (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:21.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to 'One

English Tip in One Minute for Russian

Speakers' where each week I talk about

one common English mistake made by those

who speak Russian as a mother tongue, and

this is video number 25.

Okay, as always, good for you for working to improve your

English and I hope you keep it up.

It's something I totally admire and

respect, so nice job. Before I get started

I just want to say that I have a website

called 'English Tips for Russian Speakers'

and I also have an online course called

'50 Common English Mistakes' and you can

find that information in the description

box below...and I hope you'll go to those.

The way this works is I show you a

slide with two sentences on it: One is

the correct way that a native English

speaker would say it, the other is the

wrong way that many Russian speakers

learning English say it. You have to

decide which one is correct. Please do

that now. Read the sentences, pause the

video, think about your answer and I will

talk about the answer in the slide that

follows this slide.

Ok, so if you got this right --

and you did so with confidence -- then good

for you. It just means you don't need to

think about this so much. But if you got

it wrong -- or if you took a wild guess and

just happened to get it right -- it means

that you do need to start thinking about

this. To start you off on the learning

process I've given you four sentences

that you should study from. You should

study these sentences in their entirety

(the whole sentence is important), you

should review them (really get them into

your brain) and you should put into

practice what you've learned through

speaking or writing or both...and just

keep that process going until you've

mastered this. And use the many resources

out there to help you as well. That's

it. Thanks for watching, and see you

next time.

yoga for health|yoga pose - Duration: 5:41.

Yoga is known for its mental and physical health benefits. It provides a routine in which you can meditate by focusing on your breathing and relaxing all of your muscles. But it can also be a great way to exercise and build up your overall fitness level and prevent future weight gain.[1] Whether you want to strengthen your core muscles or supplement your general cardio routine, practicing dynamic Fitness Yoga can help improve your overall health

Practice yoga as part of your whole fitness regimen. Adults require 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity plus two muscle strengthening workouts each week to achieve physical fitness.[3] Moderate aerobic activity includes things like walking, running, biking, and swimming. Yoga combines physical strength exercises with breathing and stretching exercises, so it is not quite the same as aerobic exercise.[4] Try to incorporate yoga as a strengthening exercise a couple of days per week or use it as a way to stretch and reduce stress before or after a workout.

Choose yoga poses that meet your fitness needs. Yoga poses can target almost any area of your body. They can strengthen your legs, increase flexibility in your arms, and improve breath control.[5] Choose poses that will help you to work on specific fitness goals. For example, if you want to increase flexibility in your legs, then you might try downward facing dog pose. If you want to improve balance, then you might try a half moon pose.

Start and end with low intensity poses. Whenever you do a yoga routine, you should start by doing some low intensity poses to start and then build from there. Also, make sure that you always close your yoga routine with corpse pose to end on a relaxing note. For example, you might start with some sun salutations and then move into standing poses, such as Warrior pose, and backbends or headstands (if you are ready)

Add yoga poses that will complement your cardio workout. Doing a complementary yoga pose before and after your workout can help to speed up recovery from tough workouts. By speeding up your recovery, you will be more likely to stick with your routine and reach your goals. Try adding a couple of complementary poses to your current exercise routine.[7] Runners. Prepare for your routine with a pose that targets your legs such as the lying big toe or a single leg forward bend. Then you can follow up your run with a pose that stretches your legs and opens up your hip flexors, such as the Warrior II pose. Elliptical users. Start with a twist pose such as a sitting spinal twist. Then, follow up your workout with something that will stretch your legs and back such as a seated forward bend. Bike riders. Prepare for your workout with a stretch that will increase your lung capacity and stretch your arms and legs, such as a king dancer pose. Then, follow up your workout with a pose that will stretch the muscles in the front of your body, such as the camel pose.

Modify yoga poses to make them harder. Increasing the intensity of your yoga poses can improve your results. Lifting up an arm or a leg or pushing the stretch a little further will make it harder. If a pose feels too easy, then try to modify it so that it is harder.[8] Ask your yoga instructor if you are not sure how to increase the intensity for a pose. For example, when doing downward facing dog, you can lift up a leg as high as it will go to increase the intensity of the stretch.

Spend as much time as you want on your routine. Yoga classes are often an hour long or longer, but your home practice does not need to be this long if you do not have time. You can benefit from as little as 15 minutes of yoga per day. Decide what amount of time is realistic for you and use that time to work on the poses that you want to perfect.[9] Try doing 15 minutes of yoga before you take your morning shower or as part of your bedtime wind-down routine. Take a class at least once per week so that you will get to do at least one long yoga session per week.

Use yoga to increase flexibility and strengthen joints. Doing yoga can help keep your muscles long and lean. This is especially beneficial if you practice a sport like football or running where you have to put significant pressure on your joints.[10] Yoga has been shown to help strengthen joints that often can cause pain, such as knees, hips and ankles.

Incorporate yoga as a cool down routine. After you exert your body with intense cardio exercises like biking or running, consider using yoga as part of an extended cool down routine. It will help your muscles stay loose and protect you from further injury.[12] Building up core muscle strength through exercises like yoga has been shown to improve the endurance of runners as they train for marathons

Find a yoga class. While practicing poses on your own can have significant benefits, learning from a trained yoga instructor can help you find the best poses that work for your body. Look for classes offered at your local gym, community center or yoga studio.[14] Particularly look for classes called things like Power Yoga. These classes will focus on a constant flow between poses so your heart rate remains active. You can also try hot yoga -- in which classes are held in rooms that are heated to 101 degrees -- if you want to work up a sweat

6 Hair Hacks that ACTUALLY WORKS! - Duration: 5:08.

Make sure that your lower ponytail is as close to the upper one as possible.

Also, hide the Scrunchies with a strand of hair from the ponytail.

Stretch your hair tight around the pony so they cover the lower one.

Fan out if there are any visible hair lines to cover.

Just take any Hair Spray that you have available and some curvy bobby Pins.

BONUS TIP: Use your Bobby Pin Curvy Side Down and straight side up.

When you reach the point one of your strand has few hair left, just add some more hair from the strand next to it.

Keep adding hair until you're happy with the length.

DON'T DETANGLE YOUR HAIR!

Just start with three sections.

And Braid two to three times max.

When it starts to become tight, find a loop and invert your lower hair strands into it.

This will nicely secure them, without a ponytail!

11 Small Space Solutions for the Bedroom and Home Office | Small Space Solutions - Duration: 5:51.

11 Small Space Solutions for the Bedroom and Home Office.

Small space?

No sweat!

See how one Brooklyn couple maximized their loft apartment for ample room to work from

home and sleep comfortably, and you can, too.

Number 1: Use Art as an Anchor.

Online lifestyle editor Briana and her boyfriend Buzz, a mobile developer, intended for the

bedroom in their Brooklyn loft to have an airy, calm, Palm Springs-inspired feeling.

Yet the expansive wall behind their bed seemed impossible to fill and they knew small pieces

would just make the space feel cluttered or jammed.

Number 2: Bedroom Before.

Determined to make the most of their small space, Briana and Buzz sought an efficient

space and lighting plan for their bedroom.

To keep the surface of their nightstands clear for books and everyday items, the couple wanted

a way to light the bedside area without taking up valuable tabletop space.

Number 3: Plug It In.

To add ample light to their sleeping area, Briana and Buzz opted for wall-mounted, plug-in

sconces that don't require permanent hard wiring.

By simply screwing the attachment to the wall, then plugging the cord into a nearby outlet,

the look of custom, permanent lighting is achieved without long-term commitment or the

steep cost of hiring an electrician.

Number 4: Table It.

Whether working late on web-based projects or watching DVDs, Briana and Buzz needed space

for their laptops in their bedroom.

To add instant workspace without creating clutter, the couple added a C-table to the

side of the bed that keeps their laptops perfectly within reach.

Number 5: Sneaky Storage.

Briana and Buzz store their laptops inside the C-table, which has a top that lifts up

to reveal concealed storage.

The table also doubles as a small serving surface for breakfast and drinks in bed.

Number 6: Floating Photo as a Focal Point.

To give the illusion of space to their 10-by-11-foot bedroom, Briana and Buzz stuck with a light,

airy color scheme and chose pieces with enough visual weight to anchor the room.

An original, framed piece of photography provided a strong focal point and small bursts of orange

were used as accents.

Number 7: Hanging Out.

The biggest inspiration piece for Briana and Buzz's bedroom was a framed original photograph

Buzz took of a palm tree in Palm Springs.

With no obvious wall space as a focal point, the couple decided to suspend the photograph

in front of the window.

The artwork was securely installed with heavy-gauge picture wire attached by an L-bracket to the

drywall above the window.

Number 8: Workspace Before.

Before establishing a solid space plan to create a workspace for Buzz, plus provide

extra space for guests to sleep on air mattresses, the area was cluttered by large storage items

such as boxes, shelves and bicycles.

Number 9: A Multi-Purpose Workspace.

Briana and Buzz like to use the 8-by-10-foot upstairs landing of their loft primarily as

Buzz's workspace; however, it needs to allow room for guests to sleep on the floor with

air mattresses.

By keeping the space utilitarian and mobile, Buzz can work in a clutter-free space that

can easily be changed up to accommodate up to three overnight guests at a time.

Number 10: Wallpaper for Renters.

Briana had always wanted graphic, 1970s-era wallpaper somewhere in the loft; however,

hanging permanent wallpaper in a rental seemed impractical.

After searching online, she found temporary wallpaper called Tempaper that sticks to walls

like a huge sticker or decal.

Number 11: Keep Clutter Tucked Away.

Before moving into the loft, Buzz already owned his classic, industrial-modern desk.

It is equipped with a hidden shelf that slides out from under the desktop and holds things

that may otherwise make the desk feel cluttered.

By simply sliding the shelf back under, things like keyboards, envelopes, passports and cell

phones are kept tucked away while remaining easily accessible.

Number 12: Roll With It.

In order for the upstairs area of Briana and Buzz's loft to function as a temporary spot

for guests in addition to a full-time workspace for Buzz, it was important that each piece

of furniture be as easy to move as possible.

Casters at the bottom of his desk allowed it to easily roll from the center of the space

to a wall, opening up enough floor space to house up to three air mattresses.

Number 13: Stay Wired.

Something to keep in mind when placing desks in the center of a room is wire management.

Most modern desks have 2-inch holes that allow wiring to be tucked through the top, then

under the desk where they remain hidden from view.

To retroactively add this feature to an older desk, use a two-inch paddle bit to drill a

hole where needed.

Number 14: Stack It Up.

Mobilized wire shelving is an excellent option for small spaces.

With so many different uses, it's an investment that can grow with the homeowner.

Although Buzz currently uses his configuration simply to house his printer and other office

components, he can add onto it later —vertically or horizontally — to serve new needs that

may emerge.

Done.

BH4U | Coconut Oil Is Amazing, But Only If You Buy The Right Kind. Here's What To Look For. - Duration: 4:00.

[music]

Coconut Oil Is Amazing, But Only If You Buy the Right Kind: Here's What To Look For.

Coconut oil is definitely one of the healthiest oils on the planet, with a myriad of health

benefits and uses.

Over 1,500 studies have confirmed its miraculous medicinal properties, which are mostly due

to its unique content.

Namely, it contains healthy fats known as medium-chain fatty acids, which have lauric

acid, capric acid, and caprylic acid.

All of these fatty acids are extremely healthy, and about 62 percent of the oils in coconut

are made up of them, and 91 percent of the fat is healthy saturated fat.

They are much better than long-chain fatty acids, as they have potent antimicrobial and

antifungal properties, help the easier cell permeability for energy, are digested much

easier, and aren't stored as fat but converted as energy instead.

This oil treats kidneys infections, alleviates inflammation energizes the body, prevents

heart disease and hypertension, strengthens the immune system, treats Alzheimer's disease,

protects the liver, helps digestion, helps weight loss, relieves skin issues, and treats

cancer.

Coconut oil is also an excellent natural beauty product, and it can be used as body oil, itch

relief, body scrub, makeup removal oil, lip balm, lice remedy, shaving cream, breath freshener,

under eye cream, stretch mark cream, massage oil, night cream, dandruff treatment, and

deodorant.

Yet, in order to reap all these benefits, you should always choose the right type of

coconut oil.

It can be of two major types: virgin and refined.

This is all you need to know about these coconut oil types:

Virgin Coconut Oil

Virgin coconut oil is a product of fresh coconuts, certified organic and non-GMO, and has not

been refined.

This variant has the original coconut oil and flavor and can be heated up to 350 degrees

Fahrenheit.

While being prepared, manufacturers scoop it out of the shell and cold press it afterward.

In the end, the final product is just the oil.

Refined Coconut Oil

This oil is made from dried coconut milk, it has been refined, certified organic and

non-GMO.

Its flavor and oil and neutral, and might be heated up to 400 degrees.

While being prepared, it`s being steam refined to obtain the neutral flavor.

Both these coconut oil types have their own nutritional value, so you can use any of them,

according to your preferences.

Both of them contain 63 percent medium chain fats, including 50 percent lauric acid.

When you go to purchase your coconut oil, you should always choose certified organic

and verified non-GMO coconut oil.

Then, if you intend to buy the refined type, make sure it has been steam-refined, and it

is chemical-free.

On the other hand, if you choose to buy virgin coconut oil, it should be never bleached or

deodorized, it does not contain hexane, and it is cold-pressed.

//They're evaluating the taste of MJ's "Bibim-Jokbal"~//

MB: In this dish, you put 2 kinds of sauces.

It's black-bean sauce and wasabi sauce, right?

MB: Both of it has a different taste and I can't taste the Wasabi sauce at all~

JJ: For me, the noodles are not well-cooked enough~

EW: Starting from Sanha-sshi~

SH: Okay! This gonna be tasty, right?

//They're evaluating Eunwoo's dish~//

I've Been Struggling Lately | WALK WITH ME - Duration: 4:10.

Alright.

First off, I just want to say Portland is in full Spring mode right now.

It is gorgeous outside, got the sunglasses on, my light jacket.

It's not raining so I don't have to wear my ugly raincoat.

It is just incredible.

All the trees are blooming, ahh it's great.

So I don't know if you guys have noticed, I've been making a couple of tweaks and changes

to the channel recently.

I've been really trying to step up my game, putting in just that little bit of extra effort.

One thing I've been having a very difficult time with is keeping up with the upload schedule,

you know, 2 times a week.

I've been going back and forth debating if I wanted to switch to one video per week,

or trying to stick to two.

There's a marathon going on right now.

Look at all this!

But anyway.

So I feel like I've been struggling with keeping up with making the two videos per week and

still having them be good quality.

Felt like I was getting into a little bit of a rut.

You know, I don't ever want to feel like I am making videos just to put something out

on the channel.

You guys deserve better than that, I deserve better than that.

So I was really struggling with what I should do.

If I should really just try and grind it out, keep putting out two a week, or drop down

to one and just focus on making it a little bit better quality.

But I think I came up with an elegant solution that works for both of us.

So I am going to change the schedule up a bit.

Monday videos now, are going to be me, talking to you guys, on my way to work about what's

going on in my life.

So it's not always going to be weight loss related.

I know a few of you guys have asked for a little bit longer videos, a little bit more

of what's going on in my life.

So I think this will be a really good way for me to still put out good content for you

guys, for you guys to still get two videos a week, it'll be nice being able to fill you

guys in on what's going on with me.

I know I try and make my videos short and concise and to the point.

So this will be a good outlet for everybody involved I think.

And also, I think I am going to be venturing out a little bit, making some videos that

aren't necessarily weight loss related.

You know, I have a lot of other interests outside of that.

I want to make more of the Explore series.

I know not a lot of you guys watched the first one, it's called 'Explore - Hiking Macleay Park', definitely check it out if you haven't yet.

It's one of my favorites, I want to do more of those since the weather is getting nicer.

I've also been considering the idea, maybe a series called 'Living with Less', or

not even necessarily a series but talking about things like getting rid of my car, how I keep

a more minimal wardrobe, you know, living with less and enjoying life.

Let me know in the comments down below if that's something that sounds interesting to

you guys.

Hopefully you guys are on board with the new sort of setup, Mondays are going to be these

walk and talk videos and I'm going to fill you guys in about what's been going on with

me.

Then Fridays are going to be the normal videos that we've been making.

I really do love making videos.

It's tough sometimes, I work a lot so my time is very very valuable.

I don't really get paid for doing this so I want to make sure I'm taking care of myself,

and having fun, and I also want to make sure that the channel is something that's going

to be sustainable.

I want to make sure I always have something to show you guys and talk you guys about.

I think this will be a good elegant solution, and I think the content will get even better

because of it for you guys.

So let me know in the comments what you think about all of this, I'm very very excited about

it.

I hope you are too.

Make sure to subscribe if you're new here, I put out new videos every week, or twice

a week still.

But until next time, I will talk to you all later.

Have a good one.

Visually Impaired Device Design for Walking Mobility | FieldFox Handheld Analyzers | Keysight - Duration: 10:10.

The main goal of the research activity here presented is to analyze and design devices

to support walking mobility of visually impaired people based on electromagnetic waves. Such

devices are aimed at improving autonomous motion and, consequently, the quality of life

of people with visual disabilities. The work is the result of a collaboration between two

research units of Polytechnic University of Marche: the group of electromagnetic fields

of the Department of Information Engineering and the group of mechanical measurements of

the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. The working principle

of the device proposed is similar to that of a radar. An electromagnetic pulse is radiated

in the space surrounding the subject, and the reception of a possible echo warns of

the presence of an obstacle. The main difference between the device proposed and a common radar

used, for example to survey airspace, is that the possible obstacle and the radar antenna

are very close. The distance, in fact, is of about a few meters. Moreover, the obstacles

are very different in shape, material and position. And in some cases the traditional

white stick, the aid blind people most frequently use, is not able to detect their presence.

The system developed is, of course, a laboratory prototype used uniquely to demonstrate the

potential of the technique proposed. It consists of an antenna, a vector analyzer and a PC.

The radiating system is helical antenna specifically designed and built for this study. At present

it represents the best tradeoff among conflicting constrains of portability, lightweight, small

size and electromagnetic working conditions. The design features of the antenna are a good

impendence matching in the frequency range from 4 to 6 GHz; working condition in the

so-called actual mode, meaning that the electromagnetic wave is radiating along the direction of the

antenna axis; and beam width of approximately 30 degrees. The metal cylinder at the base

has been introduced to improve the antenna radiation pattern. By using the network analyzer,

we can verify whether the antenna made meets the conditions regarding the impendence matching.

As we can see, in the range from 4 to 6 GHz, the return loss is less than -10 dB; and therefore,

the requirement is fulfilled. The antenna radiates more than 90% of the power received

in the generator. The computer completes the system and is used to drive the network analyzer

and to process the data measured. The system works as described below. First, we need to

emphasize that in the present version, the electromagnetic pulse is virtually recreated

by the system. The computer drives the analyzer to carry out a frequency scan, which is performed

by radiating a sinusoidal signal with the frequency increasing from 4 to 6 GHz. The

choice among the frequencies depends on the performance of the instrument, the size of

the antenna and the quality of the paths we wish to obtain. The signal measured by the

instrument at the antenna connector contains information on the surrounding environment

as is seen by the antenna at each frequency. The data measured are transferred from the

analyzer to the computer, which compares them with a reference signal stored in the absence

of any obstacles and it finally gives back the time domain information. The paths warns

of the presence of an obstacle and its location on the time axis shows the distance from the

antenna. For obvious safety reasons, in the demonstration carried out, the obstacles used

are cardboard cylinders. Since this material is practically transparent to electromagnetic

waves, to increase its reflectivity, the interior was coated using simple aluminum foil for

food preparation. The presence of the obstacle is signaled by a sound warning if the distance

is about two meters and by a double beep if the distance is reduced to about one meter.

In the demonstration, a blind person who kindly accepted to cooperate for this project is

asked to walk along a path with many obstacles. From a given starting point, the subject has

to reach a target point represented by a music source. As we have just seen, the subject

performed the test, reaching the goal in a few seconds without hitting any obstacles.

In perspective, the work will be aimed at optimizing the system and at miniaturizing

the components so that the device is easier to wear and less visible. A second demonstration was carried out to test

whether it was possible to locate an opening like a door in a wall. Also in this case,

the subject successfully achieved the aim. A different version with a higher degree of

difficulty than the previous one is represented by a curved wall. However, even in this particular

situation, the subject was able to locate

the exit. We believe that the most significant test is the one aiming at verifying whether

it is possible to avoid an object that is placed transversely to the subject's chest

or head. As shown in the movie, this kind of obstacle is extremely dangerous because

a traditional white stick cannot prevent the impact. However, the radar seems to be very

efficient in this case, since it signals the presence of the obstacle and therefore allows

the subject to get around it. The researchers of the Polytechnic University of Marche who

have carried out the study wish to thank all the people that have cooperated and have made

these tests possible. In particular, engineer Angelo Terrizone and Microlease, the company

that supplied the network analyzer Agilent FieldFox; CST, the company that provided the

software for electromagnetic simulation; and Mr. Andrea Cionna, world champion in the Marathon

for Blind People for his useful suggestions and for his kind of availability to test the

system.
