Waching daily Oct 1 2018

I saw the look on his face.

The first game is

"Accentuate."

- "Accentuate"? / - What's that?

"Two" Days and One Night, Two "Days" and One Night,

Two Days and "One" Night, Two Days and One "Night."

(I get it.)

(As fans of the show, they mostly know it.)

Accentuate each syllable.

If one person gets it wrong,

you'll start again from the first player.

This is a game of who finishes first.

The winner of this round

may choose two dishes.

The second and third places

- may choose one each. / - All right.

Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.

(Through rock-paper-scissors...)

(Order in which they'll compete.)

Rizq, please choose your word.

Do we get to see it?

Do I choose?

This will be fun.

(What's their word?)

Let's practice.

Rock-paper-scissors.

How do we do it?

Rock-paper-scissors?

Like this. Rock-paper...

(That's too hard!)

Ready,

get set, go!

Rock-paper-scissors. Rock...

Incorrect!

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Oh, no!

Gosh.

(It seems like she'll keep them back.)

Rock-paper-scissors.

(Oh, no.)

(That was wrong.)

That wasn't it.

Try it again.

Try again.

Rock-paper-scissors. Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock...

I feel so bad for her.

Guys, let's change positions.

Switch.

The clock's ticking!

All right.

Rock-paper-scissors. Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Go ahead.

Rock-paper-scissors. Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors. Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

(She's as good as any Korean.)

Rock-paper-scissors. Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors!

That's it.

(I knew the Daejeon native would do well.)

Here we go.

(It's finally her turn.)

(Can she do it this time?)

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors...

(She bursts into laughter.)

Start from the top!

(They might die from laughing so hard.)

I can't do this.

I can't do this.

- It's okay. / - Oh my gosh. What do I do?

Rock-paper-scissors...

(They start from the top again.)

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors!

Slow and steady.

(Will she make it this time?)

Do it slowly.

- Use your fingers. / - Right, use your fingers.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors!

No!

Rock-paper-scissors!

(Why is it over already?)

I can't believe it.

This is insane.

Oh, no.

(I'm going crazy as well.)

(We're going crazy too.)

Oh, no!

(Another round continues.)

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors!

Okay, good.

(Everyone wishes for her success now.)

Rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

(Shoulders bouncing)

Rock...

- Paper. / - Paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors!

(It was a victory against herself.)

Nice!

(Good job.)

She did it!

(She almost burst into tears.)

You did great.

Good!

Team Siyoon finished in two minutes and five seconds.

- Please. / - Can you do this?

For Team Jongmin, Mike will choose.

- Pick a new word. / - Mike.

He'll take over two minutes alone.

He'll take over two minutes.

- We can do this! / - Are you ready?

Let's go!

What's the word?

(They find it hard even to pronounce it.)

What's this?

"Cheerful 18-year-old."

Cheerful 18-year-old.

(The other teams already smell victory.)

Our word was an easy one!

My team can't even read this!

Gosh.

(She can't wait to see them play.)

- That's really hard. / - Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful...

Please get ready.

Let's do this!

- Let's go! / - We can do this!

- Let's go. / - Good luck!

Mike, let's go!

Ready, go.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

(A technique that's unheard of)

(What strategy is this?)

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18...

(She mimics him.)

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

"Old."

(He finished quicker than expected.)

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old. Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old!

They're all really good.

Nice!

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

Cheerful 18-year-old.

(That was perfect!)

(Good job.)

Oh my gosh.

I can't believe this.

- They're all really good. / - Goodness.

38 seconds.

(Team Jongmin finished in 38 seconds.)

This is unbelievable.

(He's the man of the match.)

(Team Jongmin's MVP)

You never know.

- That was great. / - Mike,

were you a conductor?

(The conductor of "Accentuate")

(Is that how it's done?)

No way.

I still can't believe it.

Do it slowly like he did.

There's no need to rush it.

Let's see.

What is it?

We'll do it together.

Dinner Game.

Oh my gosh!

Slow and steady.

- Dinner Game. / - Keep it slow.

It's too easy.

It's not easy at all.

Here we go.

Ready, go.

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

(It's got to her!)

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

- Dinner Game. / - Okay.

Dinner Game. Dinner Game.

Dinner Game. Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

(That was faster than any Korean.)

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

(No, this isn't in slow motion.)

- Dinner Game. / - That's it.

- Dinner Game. / - Yes.

Dinner Game!

- Okay. / - Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game.

Dinner Game!

I can't believe it.

Team Taehyun took 41 seconds.

(Team Taehyun is in second place.)

We were really fast!

Good job, everyone.

Hsu Wei-Ya sounded like a lagging cassette tape.

Dinner Game...

(That's not true.)

She was buffering. Dinner Game.

(Many experienced a buffering effect.)

The third team is Team Defconn.

- They... / - Let's see.

This is such a hard word!

It's too difficult.

No, it's easy.

(What's the word?)

Oh, no.

"No, no."

(No, no)

(It's hard for the foreigners to pronounce.)

No, no.

(She already has a headache.)

Keep it slow.

(Defconn calms down his young teammates.)

No, no.

- Get ready. / - Be quick.

And go!

No, no.

No, no.

No, no.

No...

(It's like she's singing.)

(Fung Sum Man strings us along.)

No, no!

Okay, next.

No, no.

No, no.

No...

No...

What?

(Malfunction)

Did you hear that?

No sound came out.

(The audio didn't match the video.)

I couldn't hear anything.

(Flustered)

No, no.

No, no.

No, no.

No, no.

- No, no! / - Okay.

No, no.

No!

No!

(What can't be done?)

What can't be done?

(She finds it hard to breathe.)

No! No, no!

(What did I do?)

(She calmly tries again.)

(Even Fung Sum Man is malfunctioning.)

- No... / - She's so adorable.

They're like us.

(They can't seem to recover.)

They're just like us.

(She calmly starts over.)

No, no.

No, no.

No, no.

No, no!

Wait, let's change seats.

Chan Kei Ki is up.

No, no.

No, no.

No, no.

No, no.

No, no!

Okay, good.

No, no.

No, no.

(Her neck...)

(She barely passes this time.)

No, no.

No.

No, no.

(They finally succeed.)

Doesn't your neck hurt?

No.

(Be careful of hurting your neck.)

(Everyone moves to Christine's words.)

The record is

1 minute 13 seconds.

Good job.

You did a good job.

- Okay. / - Okay.

(What is Team Junho's keyword?)

- "Soochan's father." / - Soochan's father.

(I'm Soochan's father.)

(Yes, Soochan's father.)

- For now... / - Try it.

(Get ready.)

Start.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

(His name is called a lot today.)

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

(That's great.)

(Soochan's father is enjoying it.)

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father, Soochan's father.

Soochan's father.

(Team Junho succeeds.)

That was fast,

but we lost.

The record is

46 seconds.

(Team Junho ranks third.)

That's a relief.

- I think... / - It can't be one.

(What is Team Joonyoung's keyword?)

"Is this real?"

It's "Is this real?"

- Is this real? / - Is this real?

It's very hard. "Is this real?"

I can't do that.

- Is this real? / - Is this real?

Okay, good luck.

Ready?

Go.

Is this real?

Is this real?

Is this real?

Is this real?

- Is this real? / - Yes.

(Kayla succeeds in one try.)

Is this real? Is this real?

Is this real? Is this real? Is this real?

Is this real? Is this real?

Is this real? Is this real? Is this real?

Is this real? Is this real?

Is this real? Is this real? Is this real?

(Team Joonyoung is brutal at playing games.)

- How many seconds? / - No.

How many seconds?

- How long? / - How many seconds?

- Good job. / - How many seconds?

The record is

23 seconds.

(Team Joonyoung ranks first.)

It was good that Kayla went first.

It was good that Kayla went first.

Team Jongmin placed second.

Team Taehyun placed third with 41 seconds.

- We did it. / - Congratulations.

The team that placed third will choose first.

You can take a dish away from another team.

We wrote pork belly meat,

but it'll be taken quickly.

Right.

Choose whatever you want.

"Choose whatever you want"?

We'll take what you choose.

No one will pick dakbal.

They'll just leave it for us to eat.

(What does Team Taehyun choose?)

We pick acorn jelly.

Acorn jelly?

No one will take it.

Why did you pick that? So no one takes it?

Yes.

I knew it.

We picked something that isn't clear.

- Bulgogi. / - Bulgogi?

Shall we eat bulgogi?

Come on.

Shall we eat bulgogi?

This is so much fun.

(Annoyed)

We choose seafood jjim.

Seafood jjim? What else?

Bulgogi.

What's wrong with you?

He really wanted to eat it.

(This is the world of victory.)

Korea's Traditional game 'Ssireum'.The first match is a big match! [2Days&1Night Season3/2018.09.23] - Duration: 13:11.

We're left with the last game.

We must win.

Ssireum is traditional Korean wrestling.

(Korea's traditional game, Ssireum)

(Some fans know about it.)

(There are some fans who don't know about it.)

It'll be easier for them to understand

what it is if we show them how to play it.

Junho and Jongmin can demonstrate for us.

(They're going to demonstrate for us.)

He's strong.

This is how they play it.

(Jongmin practices first.)

(I'm going to beat Junho.)

(We look forward to the game.)

Please look at their demonstration.

This is the Korean style. We should bow.

(Okay.)

(He pats Junho's head.)

(Alright.)

(Junho's surprised by Jongmin's action.)

It's so funny.

One, two, three.

(You little rascal!)

You have to bow down.

It's manner. Manner makes a man.

It's manner.

(Their demonstration is done with manner.)

Referee.

(This is an unexpected welcome.)

- Hello. / - Nice to meet you.

(The international referee stepped in like a star.)

I've seen him on TV.

Relax.

(He holds him tight.)

Let go.

(His manners are gone with the wind.)

What's this? Let go.

(Where are his manners?)

This is just a demonstration.

I held it wrong.

Wait a second.

(This is so tense.)

(He can't lose in front of his fans.)

Jongmin!

- Junho! / - Jongmin, cheer up!

- Jongmin. / - Jongmin.

(Surprisingly, Junho's coping well.)

Let's do this.

(Jongmin starts attacking Junho.)

(I have to withstand this.)

(They got closer to each other.)

- Oh, gosh. / - Let go.

(It was a skillful attack by Jongmin.)

(Jongmin won the match.)

(Bravo, Jongmin.)

This is how you play it.

(Junho's embarrassed.)

One more time.

(He wants to restore his pride.)

Don't hold it too tightly.

Junho will lose anyway.

(Can Junho overcome the expected tragedy?)

Wait. Lift him up.

(Junho's falling.)

(That was a bonus kick.)

(Junho's pride is gone.)

Don't step on him.

One more time.

No. You can stop now.

Stop it.

It will be like a tournament.

To make it fair,

the international referee will pick the players.

(He selects the first team. It's Jongmin.)

It will be Team Jongmin

against Team Defconn.

(Team Jongmin versus Team Defconn)

It will be a single one-on-one match.

- Please. / - Not everyone plays this.

You have to pick one person.

We have to pick Mike.

- I can't play. / - It has to be a man.

Okay.

(Everyone cheers at Mike's decision.)

- Is it set? / - Gosh.

(The first match is a big match.)

This isn't ssireum. It's a bullfight.

It's a Korean cow versus an American cow.

Buffalo versus Korean cow.

Korean cow versus American buffalo.

You can come on in.

Okay.

(It's tense even before they start.)

He's like Fedor.

Fedor.

(Fedor is a Russian UFC fighter.)

Fedor!

- He's just like Fedor. / - Yes.

US Army!

(It's very tense.)

You have to get up.

(It's tense even before they start playing.)

- You have to get up. / - Gosh, look at him.

- It's a tight match. / - Gosh, it's amazing.

It's going to be a tight match.

(The big match begins.)

(He's using his power already.)

(The Korean cow is attacking well from the start.)

(Please bring victory to the team.)

(The buffalo blocked the attack.)

(They're both so firm.)

(Let's go, Mike.)

(They're standing even.)

(Almost equal)

Lift him up!

(Nip and tuck)

(Is this a deja-vu?)

(Will Defconn win?)

(Or will Michael win?)

(Michael attacks.)

(Michael tries striking from the inside.)

(Defconn almost fell.)

(Amazed)

(He's lifting Mike.)

(Defconn's counter-attack)

(Please!)

(Who is the winner of this big match?)

(Defconn won.)

(The three girls are really happy.)

(They could not take their eyes off the match.)

Good job.

Well done.

He's skillful.

(This is how they play ssireum.)

It was fantastic.

(It was a nice match between the two men.)

I'll select the players for the second round.

Team Joonyoung.

Team Junho.

Junho.

- Okay. / - Junho again?

Pick a girl.

No, I can't play it.

Me.

- She wants to do it. / - Okay.

Anisha's playing the game.

- Okay, let's go. / - Yes.

Let's go, Junping.

(Junping's playing.)

- No. / - No.

(Is there a problem with Junping?)

(Is this a male-female match?)

(It's Junho.)

(His teammates are all embarrassed.)

Why?

(Is there a problem?)

(He was firm about manner just earlier.)

You can't compete against a girl.

No, Anisha...

Let's go, Anisha.

(It's the first women's match.)

It's a big match.

Yes, this is a big match.

How can these meet here again?

- Do I grab here? / - Okay?

- Have you done this before? / - No.

(They're being sweet.)

(She's just happy to have her first ssireum match.)

(The first women's match starts.)

- Junping! / - Gosh.

(It ended in a blink of an eye.)

(Junping did a good job.)

Junping!

(As soon as it started...)

(Junping attacked Anisha with her weight.)

(Junping's celebrating.)

(One old man is thrilled.)

(He's still happy even though his team lost.)

(Victory is Junping's.)

It's the last match. Team Taehyun versus Team Siyoon.

Players, step forward.

We have Wei-Ya.

(Hsu Wei-Ya's playing for Team Taehyun.)

- Let's go. / - Let's go, Rizq.

Be careful.

Gosh, it's Wei-Ya against Rizq.

Are you trying to save Leyla for later?

Leyla doesn't want to play this.

She only talks.

She's only good at talking.

She only talks.

(Smiling)

Lower your shoulders.

- Start slowly. / - Okay, slowly.

These two can speak Korean very well.

- Really? / - Yes.

(The referee didn't know about this.)

Do it slowly.

Okay.

- You can stand up now. / - Stand up.

Stand up.

- Let's start. / - Yes.

(The last round begins.)

(They're both powerful.)

Oh, gosh! Look.

(Rizq is using her skill.)

(Wei-Ya's defending herself.)

(She attacks again.)

- Oh, no. / - It's a new skill.

(It's their first time, but they're so skilled.)

(Attacking)

(With one attack,)

(Wei-Ya wins.)

(Wei-Ya is the best.)

(It's unbelievable.)

(But they're still good friends after the game.)

Okay, now we have

Team Taehyun, Team Joonyoung and

Team Defconn in the semi-final.

One of the three teams gets into the finals by default.

Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.

Did you win? You won again?

She's so lucky.

She always wins.

Do you want to play? Okay. Good luck.

Okay. Go, Liu.

Good luck.

Let's do this.

(It's an uncompromising match.)

- Go, Cheng Liu. / - Go, Chan Kei Ki.

- Go, Cheng Liu. / - Go, Chan Kei Ki.

(It's neck and neck between the two girls.)

(Fighting back and forth)

(Cheng Liu of Team Joonyoung wins.)

(Coach Jung shouts joyously.)

That was amazing.

It was a wonderful match.

It was so cool.

All right. This is the final.

It's the best of three games.

Leyla and Joonyoung should fight.

No. Then...

Why not? Leyla should fight against Joonyoung.

Leyla and Joonyoung?

(Genius Jung senses what is going on.)

(Hitting)

- I hurt my leg. / - Okay.

- I'm injured. / - Okay.

All right. What about Team Taehyun?

What if Wei-Ya participates?

If Wei-Ya comes out, Kayla will fight.

- Kayla? / - We can change it.

(Come on!)

(I have to do it again?)

Good luck!

Okay. It's the final.

- Let's go, Kayla. / - This is exciting.

(Tough girl Kayla versus charismatic girl Wei-Ya)

(The final begins.)

(Pulling hard)

(Struggling)

(Firm)

(She's not budging.)

(I can't believe this!)

(The audience starts to stir.)

(Kayla musters all her strength again.)

(Firm again.)

(She's a human utility pole.)

(The first and last counter-attack)

(Throwdown)

(Are you all right?)

(It was a good professional game.)

The score is one nil.

(Team Taehyun 1, Team Joonyoung 0)

- Wait. Hang on. / - Kim Junho.

- We feel so bad for her. / - Kim Junho.

(Laughing)

(He puts on a show for his fans.)

Here comes the player.

(Frivolous)

(I don't want to be involved.)

Junho, if we win...

(Junho participates as a mercenary.)

Don't waste your strength.

If you win, I'll share my food.

Don't go easy on her because she's a girl.

Wei-Ya, come on!

Hurry up.

I'm full now.

I'm startled.

(Taehyun sends out Leyla instead of Wei-Ya.)

(Is this real?)

(Leyla makes a sortie.)

(Intimidated)

(Where are you going?)

(It's like a Hong Kong noir film.)

I give up.

I give up.

I'll go easy on you.

(Please save my life.)

(It's the biggest match of the day.)

Team Taehyun is winning by one nil.

Junho is Team Joonyoung's mercenary.

He's our mercenary.

If he wins, I'll share my food with him.

(Reeling)

(My hands hurt.)

(That's enough.)

What will he do?

(They want to arm-wrestle now.)

Junho, Leyla took the plunge for this.

(Giggling)

(He's going to lose.)

Gosh, he's stronger than I thought.

- Let's do this. / - Oh, no.

(He gets more competitive after hearing Leyla.)

I'm a man.

(They try not to feel ashamed of Junho.)

Do you want to play the game?

Why so serious?

Get up.

Do you want to play the game?

(The match of the day begins.)

Go, Kim Junho!

- Go, Kim Junho! / - Go, Leyla.

(Junho watches for an opportunity.)

- Go, Kim Junho! / - Go, Leyla.

(Leyla uses her strength against Junho slightly.)

(Trotting)

(Oh my goodness.)

(The mercenary launches his counter-attack.)

(He gives up so soon.)

(The match is not going the way he expected.)

Just throw him.

(The second attack of the mercenary)

(He uses all the strength he can muster.)

(Calm)

(I should use skills instead of strength.)

(He counter-attacks using his short legs.)

(Here I go.)

(Leyla tries a counter-attack.)

(This isn't right.)

- Go, Leyla. / - Go, Kim Junho.

(Leyla delivers a death blow.)

(They fall down at the same time.)

(The match is over.)

His knee touched the ground first.

If you look closely, Junho's knee

- touched the floor first. / - Right.

- We won! / - So Leyla wins.

(Leyla wins.)

(This is the end of the useless mercenary.)

(I want to be alone.)

There's nothing left for him.

(Don't you get funny with me.)

(Mom...)

(It serves him right.)

Hospital.

Take me to the hospital.

He's overreacting.

(The mercenary is taken to the hospital.)

The winner of Round 3, ssireum, is Team Taehyun.

Congratulations.

(Let's eat.)

When it comes to build quality P1000 wins hands down - it got higher quality materials

and overall more robust and solid design.

Of course nothing is for free so P1000 weights about 850 grams more than B700 - and you can

definitely feel this in your hand.

P1000 is by no mean compact camera anymore.

That's said big lens housing and good grip make this camera not that hard to hold, but

B700 is without a doubt more portable and comfortable to use.

Button layout and user interface is pretty much the same on both.

Menu is pretty intuitive and simple, but if you want to play with some more advanced stuff

you also got P, A, S, M modes on the dial.

What's new in P1000 is that it got specific Bird mode, moon mode on the dial and physical

AF to MF switch which is probably the most useful upgrade in terms of functions for me.

In terms of screen, both are articulating which is fantastic and we got 3.2 inch screen

in P1000 vs 3 inch screen in B700.

Honestly quality is pretty much the same for me, they are little bit oversaturated, but

no big deal really.

Just no protective layer on the LCD is disappointing - they will scratch easily.

Electronic viewfinders however are completely different.

This time with P1000 we got 2.3 milion dot OLED, while B700 has 921 000 dot LCD.

There is not much sense even comparing both - because P1000 EVF is fantastic to use, provide

huge vision, excellent sharpness and contrast while EVF In B700 is something that you use

when you got no other choice and this may seem not that important - but it really is,

trust me - using viewfinder provides more stable position to shoot and it's just more

accurate way of shooting at least for me.

I am very happy about that upgrade - especially when consider it's superzoom camera.

I feel autofocus is once again something petty much the same on both - it's good for normal

shooting and etc. but when you shoot in the zoom or you are in hurry, you want to shoot

object that's moving fast like plane you will often find that camera has some focusing

problem.

It's also hard to say which camera has better stabilization because of completely different

weight.

I think P1000 was better, but it can make your hands little bit tired after a while.

Anyway both B700 and P1000 have superb stabilization that allows you too shoot things even at maximum

zoom handheld which is very impressive.

In terms of battery life according to Nikon - Coolpix B700 allows you to shoot 420 photos

on full charge while P1000 only 250.

Now let's take a look at most important aspect in this comparison which is zoom difference.

125x vs 60x difference seems obvious, but it's not like that really.

Look at this real world comparison and ask yourself do you need that extra zoom.

At certain point in focal length difference becomes less and less significant.

Generally further the object is that extra zoom difference will be more helpful.

In my opinion that 125x zoom is worth the money, but only if you are strict superzoom

fan.

For an average consumer Coolpix B700 60x zoom is more than enough.

If you expected some huge upgrades in terms of image quality I have to disappoint you!

Upgrades are present, but they are rather subtle.

Level of detail and sharpness in photos is pretty much the same.

It's good, but you can't really go into the crop appreciating big amount of details.

It's nothing more than you would expect from small sensor bridge camera.

Both have good dynamic range although you can't expect fast Auto HDR modes found in

cameras in flagship smartphones; they hold pretty good in comparison with their competition.

I find where they did biggest improvement is in exposure control - Coolpix P1000 has

better exposure control, it won't make photos kind of blown out and overexposed like B700

often could.

I am very happy about that - it's little thing, but pretty significant especially if

you don't make post-production and you shoot straight JPEGs.

Where P1000 also shines is with it's lower aperture of 2.8 at wide angle compared to

3.3 in B700.

This helps in worse light condition and gives better depth of field.

I always felt like Coolpix superzoom cameras have class leading lens quality and this time

it's no different - both B700 and P1000 have seriously fantastic sharpness and clarity

all the way through the focal length range.

Of course with some in exception at maximum zoom, but that's standard for all superzoom

that I've seen and this is very important in this comparison.

When we consider which camera has better lens: P1000 wins simply because maximum focal length

on B700 is half maximum focal length on P1000 - 1440mm vs. 3000mm.

That make P1000 photos at focal length close to 1440mm look super clear while B700 starts

to lose it's clarity and generally I think that P1000 has just little bit better lens

quality.

Low light performance is not a strong point of both cameras.

Like I said earlier better aperture of 2.8 in P1000 may help little bit to provide lower

ISO or faster shutter speed.

Also I feel like colors are little bit more accurate in P1000.

B700 tends to show some greenish/yellowish kind of tint and flatness in low-light photos.

When it comes to video quality in 4K both; applies noticeable oversharpening effect;

slightly stronger on B700.

Once again not much difference between both.

I would like to see something little bit better like in flagship smartphones, but still you

can bring out some really fine shots in good light especially using zoom.

Once again results are very good in comparison with their small sensor rivals.

In conclusion I think that Nikon Coolpix B700 will be the best choice for most people.

Nikon Coolpix P1000 with it's 125x topical zoom is something crazy, pretty much only

for huge superzoom enthusiasts.

Picture and video quality, functionality is very similar on both.

Better zoom and few features like fantastic EVF make it more interesting, but we have

to consider price difference.

P1000 is 3x more expensive than B700.

What I didn't said is that you could also consider something in the middle which is

Nikon Coolpix P900 with 83x optical and more reasonable price also.

Title of superzoom king definitely belongs to P1000, but title of affordable, very good

superzoom that suits most people need belongs to B700.
