[Pencil scratching]

[Pokemon game sound]

Hello.

So, today, I'm going to talk about something that's kind of new:

Gaming.

Which I guess is not really that new because I've talked about gaming before,

but PC gaming - that's new.

So, if you didn't already know, I've gotten back into PC gaming.

I have a new computer.

Aha, where are ya?

There's... Where'd it go?

Where are you? There you are.

If you're curious about the set-up of that whole thing, there's a video, I'll link it.

Are you goin' up there? Think you're goin' up there.

So, I got back into PC gaming after years and years of only doing handheld consoles

and I've started Twitch.

So far, I have almost 250 followers and I've got a few subscriptions.

I am now a Twitch Affiliate which is pretty awesome, so...

If you like games and you wanna come over and watch me play some stuff,

twitch.tv/RikkiPoynterPlays

I'll have link here, info box, and pinned comment.

But what game are we gonna talk about today?

You'll probably already figure that out from the title alone

but we're gonna be talking about 'Life is Strange'.

So, in case you don't know what 'Life is Strange' is, it's a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure type of game,

so if you read the books that followed that style when you were younger,

I have - that's really what it is.

It starts with a girl named Max, who is 18 years old,

she's a high school student who goes to a private school, I believe.

Blackwell Academy, more of a private school type of thing.

And she is studying photography, she wants to be a photographer.

And class is over, she goes to the bathroom,

and then this kid named Nathan comes into the girls' bathroom

and she hides behind a stall

and then a girl named Chloe - who she figures out, later on down the road,

is her best friend, or was her best friend from years before.

Chloe comes in, they're kind of going at it, they're having a little fight.

Nathan shoots her, and this is when Max comes out from behind the stall,

you know, she's in shock, and she has her hand up

and this is pretty much when it all begins.

She learns that she has the power to rewind time.

And somehow this all starts after she has a nightmare in class of this top-of-the-line, E5...

EF5 tornado coming toward Arcadia Bay.

So, that's the gist of that.

One thing I wanna say is that I was spoiled a little bit

before I actually started playing the game.

Before I went to go buy the game,

which a Twitch viewer actually gifted it to me eventually,

but while I was thinking about actually buying the game myself before I eventually started Twitch,

I wanted to watch a play-through, not the whole play-through obviously

but I wanted to watch, like, the first 15 minutes of an Episode One, right?

Just to see how it was and if I would like it.

And I accidentally, I was really tired, I guess,

and I read the title wrong of the YouTube video, and I clicked on Episode Five, Part One.

I thought it--I thought... It said...

Episode One, Part One, and I realized...

or I was spoiled, I learned that Jefferson was the main antagonist,

the bad guy that you finally, you know, find out why people are going missing,

which is another thing.

A girl named Rachel went missing and then we were trying to figure what was happening, right?

I finished the game, and I just...

Let's go over a couple things, OK?

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't continue this video.

So, let's just go ahead and knock the negative things out of the way.

Chloe!

I hate Chloe so much.

I found her to be quite irritating.

I hated how she would get mad at Max over the most minimal things.

You know, when Kate calls Max asking for help,

and then Chloe's like, "Oh well, fine, just go see your new best friend, then".

I'm just like, "You need to calm down, you need to calm down right now

because you are totally out of line", and it was just messed-up to me.

It was just everything about Chloe rubbed me the wrong way,

from her attitude toward Max and just overall I just didn't care for her character.

For me, it got so bad that when you had to rescue her from the train tracks,

I was half just annoyed with Chloe and half annoyed with that damn train

that I kept failing and having to rewind about 20 times before I finally succeeded,

and I just wanted to let Chloe go.

I was just, I was over it, I was thinking, "You know what, Chloe?

Let's just let you get hit by the train, it's fine, I don't like you anyway".

But, alas, the game would not let me do that.

You had to save her.

That's just the way that it went.

It was great though because at the end, if you have a--if you never watched the stream,

you might be surprised to find out that my choice,

my ultimate choice at the end of the day, was to sacrifice Arcadia Bay and I saved Chloe.

People were so shocked by that.

And, actually, if I'm going to be honest, and this is another thing that I hate, the ending.

I hated the ending, and the ultimate choice.

You can either A, save Chloe but Arcadia Bay would be completely totalled.

Everybody, or at least most of the people, most of the population were going to die.

But then, if you sacrificed Chloe - well, Chloe would be the only one who died

because the whole game started with her getting shot,

and then we were trying to stop her from getting shot the whole entire time while, you know,

figuring out why people went missing.

It was kind of like a Final Destination type of thing.

You're meant to die at this time but then when you avoid it,

we're just gonna keep trying to kill you until you finally die.

All I could think was, "Are you seriously trying...

Why would you want to save one person and then murder a whole, entire town?",

because that's really what it is - you're murdering a whole, entire town.

I mean, I get it, I get it - she's your best friend and all of that but I was just like,

"Do I want that much blood on my hands? Do I want to butcher a whole town?".

It just didn't sit well with me.

But I did save Chloe, because everybody was expecting me to sacrifice Chloe

and I just wanted to see what would happen.

I--you made me kill the animals!

But I did watch the alternate ending and...

It was a bit sad, you know?

I wasn't like, "Ha ha, you died", even though I wanted to eventually just kill her,

let her die from the train, but, you know.

Another thing that was really weird to me about the game was the writing.

Like, there's a lot of "hella" written in the dialogue,

and the dialogue just sounds really, really...

Cringy?

It was like when older men try to go hang out with the kids

and they're like, "Yeah, I'm really hip, you know?",

And the teenagers are just kind of like, "...OK."

That's what it was like,

the writers of this game, to me, were like the old men trying to hip.

Like... Yeah, OK.

It wasn't the worst dialogue, by all means, but it was...

OK, yeah, alright.

So things I did really like:

Kate. I love Kate.

I saved Kate on my first try, I was so proud.

However, it did not come easily.

I probably sat on stream for about five minutes, not doing anything,

trying to figure out what the answer would be, the right answer,

the ultimate answer that would save her or not.

Nobody wanted to help me which, I have a rule - don't spoil it unless I ask you for help.

(LAUGHS) Oh, it was just so hard, I was like, "What do I do?"

Because I really, really, really did not want her to die, but I saved her.

It was the greatest feeling ever.

Another thing that I like was I did like the story.

It moved me, it scared me, it made me happy, it made me confused,

it made me feel a whole, you know, bunch of things.

And honestly, anything with a tornado in it,

you know, being a weather nerd and all, I'm just like...

"Come to mama".

Things I didn't quite understand: The link between tornado, Jefferson, Nathan -

the last part was probably explained in the story but now I just can't remember.

The camera cut off on me and now I don't remember exactly what I was saying when it cut off.

Why does she have a vision of a tornado coming?

Why does it, what does it have to do with Mark Jefferson?

Or maybe they just really have nothing to do with each other at all.

'Cause to me, it was like there was a couple of different stories going on, all at once,

and I felt, I was thinking, "Maybe there's supposed to be a connection?

But I don't get what the connection is?".

'So, like, you're trying to figure out who the kidnapper is,

but then you're also trying to save Chloe, while you're trying to figure out who the kidnapper is,

and then you're trying to figure out

what the hell is up with the top-of-the-line, EF5 tornado coming?

Whoever tells you that is an EF6 - no such thing!

It ends at 5, and that's it, it ends at 5, OK?

There is no super-tornado, it's just, it's not a thing.

I get it, it's a game, I get it, I know, I'm just...

But maybe there isn't supposed to be a connection,

or the connection - loose connection, maybe - is that while she spends so much time,

she spe--or maybe the loose connection is that Max spends so much time trying to save Chloe,

so when you're constantly rewinding time, it throws the universe completely off balance

so then the... All the climate change stuff is happening, or it was already happening,

but then it just made it worse, so you got two moons, you have snow in October,

which might not be the strangest thing, I guess, but if it's 80 degrees, yes.

All of this just brings our ultimate tornado,

or waterspout, if you wanna get really technical.

Is there supposed to be a connection to Jefferson?

Is all of this suppos--or is it just that Jefferson is a separate story,

and it was--it's just another thing that you just have to do

because we have to fill the game with something else,

we have to fill the game with two major stories, I don't know.

Actually, now that I think about it, one other thing that I really hated

is when you're getting - it was Episode Five - you're getting to the end,

and you have to, like, dodge every single person past the paintings

or the photographe--photographs, and the school lockers,

and I got so mad during that part of the game.

I got so, so mad.

But yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts on 'Life is Strange'.

Overall, I really enjoyed the game.

I do want to get 'Before the Storm', which came out in August.

I want to stream it on Twitch because I just want more of the game

and I really want to learn more about Rachel.

I can handle Chloe, I can handle Chloe,

and I just - I wanna know more about Rachel.

If you've played the game, let me know what you think,

or let me know what your ultimate choice was.

Let me know if you're gonna get 'Before the Storm',

or if you already have gotten it and if you like it - don't spoil it, please.

And again, if you wanna watch me on Twitch, I'll have the link down below.

I really do hope that you'll wanna come and join in,

it's really fun, and I stream five, six days out of the whole week.

Tuesday through Sunday at 8pm EST.

Lasts for about six or so hours, and it's just really fun.

I'm playing a lot of 'Fortnite' right now, and 'The Walking Dead',

so if you like zombies, and if you like killing people, then...

come on in.

If you wanna follow me on my social media, I have usernames down below.

If you wanna send a letter or anything, I have my PO Box address right up here.

My Patreon and last video for you to go look at will be over here.

I upload every Monday and Thursday, and I will see you later. Bye.

North Korea SHOCK warning: 'US is not bluffing' – Trump ready to take out Kim regime - Duration: 4:55.

North Korea SHOCK warning: 'US is not bluffing' – Trump ready to take out Kim regime

has been fanning concerns by ignoring calls to shut down its nuclear development programme – with leader Kim Jong-un taunting the US with repeated intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) tests threatening close allies in East Asia.

But US President Donald Trump has been signalling the United States is prepared to use military force to end Kims aggressive rhetoric.

Nuclear deterrence expert Rebeccah Heinrichs said: Kim in North Korea is feeling the squeeze of this pressure campaign, of this further isolation in the international community and it looks as though he is beginning to take the United States' position – that we are willing to use military force – seriously.

I understand people's apprehension about President Trump's tweets but President Trump can communicate we are not bluffing.

The American Government is serious and willing to use military force to eliminate their nuclear weapons programme if North Korea doesn't do it on its own.

That is a good thing, that gives us credibility. tested 16 ICBMs in 2017 alone, two of which flew over the Japanese archipelago before crashing into the Sea of Japan.

Ms Heinrichs also called out North Koreas only allies in the region, China, for failing to provide the US with the support needed to rein in the rogue nation.

She said the Chinese Government had helped in some degrees by voting in favour of UN sanctions on trade with North Korea but undermined international efforts with its alleged continued sale of oil to Pyongyang.   .

Speaking to , the Hudson Institute senior fellow continued: The Chinese have helped in some degrees by voting for sanctions but there are reports that the Chinese now are still selling oil to the North Koreans.

That is a major no-no. We need to cut off oil, they can't launch missiles without fuel for their missiles.

It doesn't appear as though the Chinese Government believes the Administration is truly willing to use force if the alternative is to have nuclear ICBM pointed at American cities. The United Nations Security Council imposed tough sanctions on North Korea after its continued missile testing.  The resolution seeks to ban nearly 90 percent of refined petroleum product exports to North Korea.

Following the UN vote, wrote on Twitter: "The United Nations Security Council just voted 15-0 in favour of additional Sanctions on North Korea. The World wants Peace, not Death!".

But Ms Heinrichs said the North Korean crisis could soon degenerate due to s refusal to give up his nuclear arsenal. And she said the international community should prepare for an even bigger show of missile capability from Pyongyang.

She added: I think that we are moving towards a path that looks like military conflict unless something changes, and rather quickly.

I think the last missile test – the Hwasong-15 – was a monster and it demonstrated a clear capability. Every time there is this long break in between missile test is not a good sign.

It means that the North Koreans are continuing to work on their programme. We need to build up our missile defences because we are moving toward a very scary situation unless something changes.  .

What is Business Intelligence? BI for Beginners - Duration: 6:24.

Ever wondered what Business Intelligence is and why we use it? In this video I'll

be answering those questions and showing you why you should be implementing BI

for your business.

Hey everyone, Adam here from Vitamin BI bringing you business

intelligence for beginners and beyond. On this channel we'll look at all

things BI like data analysis and visualization as well as BI platforms

and how to choose the right one for you. So if you're new here consider subscribing.

So let's get straight into it, what is BI? Well, BI is all about

harnessing the data that your business generates in all of its different

activities. Then we analyze and visualize this data in order to clearly understand

it and gain valuable insights into how your business is performing. Now these

insights, in turn, allow you to make better informed smarter business

decisions to help your business evolve and grow. And that's basically it,

the three stages of BI, which in theory sounds quite straightforward but in

practice it has many challenges.Let's dig a little deeper and take a closer

look at each one of these three areas in turn.

In today's modern business world, companies generate a lot of data. Gone

are the days when it was all contained in spreadsheets and on-premise databases.

With the online age we now have things like social media and cloud-based

business services and they all generate tons of data. Therein lies the biggest

challenge for BI. All of this data is separate in what we call 'silos' meaning

it's hard to easily get a global 360 view of how your business is performing

in all of its activities without having to look at multiple reports in different

places. What we really need to do is to bring these disparate data sources

together and analyze them together to get a clearer picture. We'll dedicate

more time to the specifics of where and how to access your data in other videos

so don't forget to subscribe. So what about the analysis part? Well, the end

product of the analysis usually takes the form of a reports or dashboard

containing visual representations of your aggregated data like this one, and

this one, and this one. Whereas a car dashboard displays things like your

speed, how much is left in the tank or even the outside temperature a BI

dashboard contains your business' metrics or KPI's like your revenues

stock levels or how much engagement you're getting on social media. When you

track and benchmark your KPIs you can measure your business's performance.

Visualizing your data makes it easy to read, understand and digest. A dashboard

gives you an at-a-glance snapshot of performance and helps you identify areas

where you're doing well and those that might need some more attention or

investigation. Data visualization is a discipline all unto itself and

effective visualization is the key to making sure that your data is as easy to

understand as possible.

Finally, once we've got all the data together, analyzed and visualized it, it's

time for the insight stage where we read the results of the analysis and see what

we can learn. Your dashboard can help you spot trends, see how metrics correlate

with each other and also compare periods of time to see how things are evolving.

Obviously every business is different with different data but let's

take a look at a dashboard I built with some real data and I'll demonstrate the

kind of insights that we're looking for. This dashboard contains some real

Instagram data for a town's tourist office in France. It's a fairly small

sample size but you can see that we've broken down the main KPI's, number of

posts and average number of interactions - which is likes and comments combined - by

various things like month, day of the week, hour, type and filter applied. We've

also used color data encoding to be able to look at these two KPIs together.

If we look at this first chart by month we can see that in the month of August

they posted the most number of times but we can also tell by the yellow color

that those posts had the least number of average interactions. So this could tell

us that maybe they posted too much and should think about reducing the number

of posts during a month. Or simply that it's a month when a lot of people are on

holiday in France so aren't on Instagram as much. One way to test this would be to

compare the same month of the previous year and see if the average interactions

was also low. Now, this chart by day gives us some clearer insights. We can

tell that posts on Tuesday and Wednesday receive the highest average number of

interactions. So this could tell us that we should post more on those days. And

finally, we can see that the Amaro filter appears to be most effective in

gaining engagement so we could try applying it to more posts to see if

interactions increase. The data visualized in this dashboard gives us

ideas and food for thought of things that we could try in changing how

when, in this case, we post to Instagram. Ideas that we may not have had without

having analyzed our data. And that's exactly what we mean by insights.

And that's it for this video. Hopefully now you have a better understanding of

what business intelligence is, its challenges and its benefits. And if this

has peaked your interested and you'd like to learn more about things like data analysis and

visualization, don't forget to subscribe to the channel and hit that bell to get

notified whenever we post new videos. I'll be showing you that you don't need

to be a data scientist or have a huge budget to get started with basic BI.

Until then, stay BI-curious.

Everyone Is Fake in Toradora! - Duration: 5:46.

When discussing Toradora with someone watching it for the first time, there's an interesting

pattern that tends to reveal itself.

I find that almost everyone vehemently despises Ami at the start, only to have her be one

of their favorite characters towards the end.

And I think there's a clear reason for this.

Out of all the characters in Toradora, Ami is just the most...real.

Not to say the other characters aren't well done or developed, but a majority of the show

is them wearing masks, putting up walls, and being fake.

It's something that's reflective of that time period in their lives.

Psychologist Abraham Maslow took the concept of self-actualization, the culmination of

what it means to reach your potential, and arranged the foundations needed to achieve

it into what came to be called Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

It's often arranged into a pyramid, with the first few steps being physiological needs

(food and shelter), the next being safety needs (stability and security), and into something

that strikes at the heart of Toradora!... love and belonging.

High school is a time where you're most likely clothed and well fed, and have the

freedom to pursue what you'd like, with your parent's discretion.

It's why this time period is also most likely where you first encounter feelings of infatuation,

and with inexperience comes awkwardness.

There's this inherent disconnect between the image that you have in your head and what's

true in reality, and that's the problem Ryuuji and Taiga deal with in Toradora!...

they don't know what love is.

This is why I think Ami is such a polarizing and interesting character… she's got it

at least somewhat figured out.

Past love and belonging on Maslow's hierarchy of needs is self esteem, and it's clear

that Ami is coping with this stage.

Not to say she is completely sure in her feelings on love and her feelings towards Ryuuji; people

tend to go through the different hierarchies at different paces, and sometimes through

different segments concurrently.

Her actions feel thought out, mischievous and methodical, while everyone else feels

like they're floundering.

For example, there's a moment in the series where everyone is practically throwing themselves

at Taiga on the off chance they get to experience the effects of "the palmtop tiger of happiness."

But this is, well stupid.

It doesn't make any sense.

But, it does if you take into account what almost everyone goes through during that time

period.

Where sometimes, you just need the slightest of nudges to confirm your feelings.

No one actually believes that Taiga is magically lucky (except maybe Haruta), they just need

an excuse.

And this is what Minori also believes, but in a different context.

There's a certain dynamic between Minori and Ami that's interesting to note throughout

the show, that is almost combative.

Minori feels as if she's a barrier to Taiga and Ryuuji's relationship, and she hides

her feelings because of what she thinks is best, not because of what she wants for herself.

When I first watched Toradora my feelings on her were mixed.

I thought, who are you to decide what's best for somebody else, and doesn't Ryuuji

deserve to be given the whole picture and ultimately make his own decision?

Ami kind of reflects this, but goes about it in a different way.

What it comes down to is how they both view Taiga and Ryuuji's relationship.

Minori feels that Taiga needs Ryuuji in order to reach her true potential, while Ami often

denounces their relationship, stating that Ryuuji deserves more than to be essentially

Taiga's parent.

But as I rewatch Toradora, the more I identify with Minorin's view.

Ami, as well as Taiga and Ryuuji for that matter, don't understand love.

Ryuuji and Taiga have this image of love that involves butterflies, stammering and copious

amounts of blushing.

While that certainly can be true, the feeling is inherently more complicated than that.

So complicated, that the Greek language distinguishes four different ways to refer to the emotion.

C.S. Lewis delves into this in his book The Four Loves, and it is here that so utterly

describes our main couple's love for one another.

Storge is the Greek word that encompasses familial love, the love that arises through

the "fondness of familiarity."

Lewis describes it a love that doesn't require sweeping dramatics, but something that is

ever-present and understated.

He says, "Affection almost slinks or seeps through our lives.

It lives with humble, un-dress, private things; soft slippers, old clothes, [and] old jokes…"

Ryuuji and Taiga, through their hardships, were made for each other.

Ryuuji, despite not knowing his father, certainly acts like one.

And Taiga, despite knowing her father, desperately needs someone to serve as that support role.

Ami would claim this is some perverse father-daughter dynamic, and that Ryuuji deserves someone

who can stand proudly next to him as his equal, but I think that's inherently misguided.

Ryuuji is a naturally nurturing loving person… and Taiga is someone who deserves to be loved

and nurtured.

And like I said with Minori earlier, who is she to tell him what he wants or who he loves?

Isn't the "fondness of familiarity" often the beginning of many relationships,

rather than the lightning quick passion of eros, if not more so?

Lewis continues on this subject, stating "so Affection, besides being a love itself, can

enter into the other loves and colour them all through and become the very medium in

which from day to day they operate…

There is indeed a particular charm, both in friendship and in Eros, about those moments

where Appreciate love lies, as it were, curled up asleep, and the mere ease and ordinariness

of the relationship… wraps us round."

Everyone is fake in Toradora.

But, they kind of have to be.

They're at a moment in their lives where everything is new and confusing, and you grasp

onto preconceived notions in an attempt do what you think you're supposed to.

That includes preconceived notions of love, and the essence of Toradora is how Ryuuji

and Taiga approach the concept… and how they discover that love doesn't have to

be a burning blaze.

It can also be an enduring ember.

Hamilton is likely to make 2018 the West End's highest grossing year for theatre ever - Duration: 7:03.

Hamilton is likely to make 2018 the West End's highest grossing year for theatre ever

Broadway meant big bucks in 2017 – bigger bucks than ever before. Recent statistics have shown that business has never been better for New York theatre. Now with stage giant Hamilton in London, 2018 for the West End could be similarly lucrative.

Broadway netted its highest-grossing year ever in 2017, where it banked $1.45 billion (£107 billion) in the 2016 – 2017 season, from May to May.

And industry bods are predicting that record may be smashed and reach £1.6 billion for the ongoing season. The Broadway boom is being caused, it is likely, by a pack of blockbuster shows that have all landed at once.

Hamilton, Springsteen on Broadway and nostalgia-tinged Sixties musical, Hello, Dolly! have been record successes, and have given producers the green light to wedge prices up higher than ever, with premium seats reaching four figures.

Take American Musical Hamilton, which has seen ticket prices over the recent festive period rise to $1,150 (£851). Tickets reportedly even traded hands for $10,000 for Lin-Manuel Mirandas final performance in 2016.

According to these latest figures released by the Broadway League, this upward spiral is showing no signs of slowing.

And Variety are predicting Broadway takings will break more records when taking into account the full 2017 calendar year – but what could all this mean for London?.

If we liken the financial surge on Broadway to the onset of larger-than-life new shows also taking over London in 2018 – in other words, the Hamilton effect – then the capitals year may be similar to Broadways: its highest-grossing yet.

Hamilton has opened at the newly restored Victoria Palace Theatre, and with that, every £200 seat in the house is sold until July – only a lottery has available seats, depending on which of the producers associates dont take the comps kept aside daily.

Londons pricing, no matter how high, cant nearly compare to Broadways though, where it is commonplace for shows to sell tickets for hundreds of dollars for a single seat.

In London, Hamilton is only the second case of this sky-high pricing (after Book of Mormon), but now that punters giving into producers demands and coughing up is becoming a trend, could we see more shows opening at killer costs?.

London theatre in 2018 has already got its stellar line-up of stars, and great shows, in waiting.

In March London welcomes back Chicago for the first time since 2012, the Prohibition-era musical that is the longest-running American musical in Broadways history – could its new rumoured all-star cast see the show become Londons third show to raise its ticket prices above beyond the £150 mark?.

Are you spotting a trend? US shows mean big money for UK producers, and other big shows arriving on UK shores in 2018 include The King And I at the Palladium, and Company, starring Broadway legend Patti LuPone, at the Gielgud.

There are a handful of West End shows to have topped the (now seemingly meagre) £100 mark in the past.

They include Beautiful, A Carole King Musical, Wicked, Sunny Afternoon, A Curious Incident, and Miss Saigon, although only Mormon and Hamilton have managed to tip over the £150 mark, with record highs reaching £202.75 for the best seats for Book of Mormon.

By contrast, were some way away from the Stateside price hikes, where the most expensive regular ticket for Hamilton costs $849 (£650).

Still, Hamiltons vast number of London seats which were priced at £200 reads as a warning sign for what could happen now that breaching that mega price point has happened not once, but twice.

Theatre website The Stage reported in their Ticketing Survey 2017 that the average London theatre ticket price had risen to its highest point ever, now reaching £98. 99, a figure they expect to surpass £100 by 2018.

It's important to note that it is still a very small percentage of tickets that sell at the top prices, Mark Guymer, managing director for ticketing at Really Useful Theatre Group, told the publication.

We should recognise there is a market for those tickets, there are customers that will pay for them… By selling those top-end tickets, it allows the producer to maintain those lower price points, which is important for widening theatre audiences.

The Gaines household is set for an exciting 2018! Chip and Joanna Gaines, the stars of HGTV's mega-hit, Fixer Upper, are expecting their fifth child this year.

Time to get started on a new nursery for baby Gaines! Here's what you need to know about the expanding Gaines household. When Is Joanna Gaines Expecting Her Baby?.

Fifth-time dad-to-be, Chip Gaines, took to Instagram to break the news to his followers about his wife's pregnancy.

Gaines captioned an adorable post where he and his wife are sporting matching pregnant bellies under their grey shirts, which read, "Gaines party of 7. (If you're still confused. WE ARE PREGNANT) @joannagaines.".

Chip Gaines is not the pregnant one in case anyone's wondering!.

The home-flipping couple are already parents to four lively kids: Drake, 12; Ella, 11; Duke, 9; and Emmie Kay, 7. They haven't revealed how far along she is, nor have they announced the due date.

They were swooped up in rumors about a fifth pregnancy back in October 2017. It was believed that they are ending their popular HGTV series because of their growing family, among many other purported reasons.

But they denied that they were pregnant at the time. The news comes after a tumultuous 2017 for the couple. After expanding their Magnolia Market brand, there were rumors that Joanna Gaines is leaving the show to launch her own skincare line.

While she denied the claims, the rumor mill targeted them again, but this time claiming that they were heading to a divorce.

They announced that Fixer Upper season 5 will be the show's final season and they are leaving the show to focus on their expanding business. The Gaineses launched a book and line of home goods, among many upcoming projects.

Earlier this week, Joanna Gaines hinted at the big baby news while wishing fans a happy new year. "New year, new hope… Be expectant.

There is just something about fresh faith and unwavering trust that brings life to our souls. May this be your best year yet. #2018.".

Not long ago, the couple apparently couldn't come on the same page about having another child. In June, Joanna Gaines talked about wanting to have twins and the kids looking forward to another sibling while Chip Gaines wasn't.

Later in November, Chip Gaines said in an interview, "We had four babies right before the show started, and then we've had zero babies since the show started. For me, I'm really excited to go back and try to maybe.

try to make some more babies.". At that time, Joanna Gaines changed her mind about having another child.

Nevertheless, the Gaineses look pretty ecstatic about the coming baby. Even HGTV was excited for their stars. The network has been tweeting a spree of congratulatory messages about the newest Fixer Upper. "Congrats @joannagaines & @chipgaines! We can't wait to meet #BabyGaines.

You can watch the final season of Fixer Upper every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. Congratulations to Chip and Joanna Gaines!.

Mi a magyar identitás? 2. rész / What is Hungarian identity? Part 2. - Duration: 10:29.

Hi All! Let's see what else is part of the Hungarian identity, and after the video you can leave a comment what is still part of it by your opnion

But this is a subjectibe vlog and it's my opinion about our identity, so lets get started!

Hungarian people grow up with a strong identity, because we learn to be proud of our ancestors and history, the Csodaszarvas, the Conquest, Horn of Lehel,

And every other important about where we came from.

So our identity is formed with these, but our >European< identity was formed by Bela the IV., 200 years after St. Stephen.

It was boosted by the Tatar's looting campagin, when the Tatar Khan - now watchers from the Sirius system turn off -

Because there were no friendly messages sent by them to the Hungarian king that "we are relatives, dont fight, and so on"

No! They wouldn't been friendly, we know similar letters from the turkish era when the warlords said a lot of promise, but at the end it was always ended in a massacre.

But in fact, the point is that Bela went to war with them with a very little European help, - and this help died on the battlefield -

And one of the problems in this battle was - which is pretty much in our history - that our nobility rebelled, and didn't go to war... This rebellion is in our cognitive mindset.

So our underestimated king went to the war alone. It's often said that he was coward, he fled - but it's not really true in this way... As the Dalriada song says: "run king and with you, the hope of our country remains".

So, if Bela wouldn't ran and he wouldn't said that "okay guys, lets do a reset", then our nation would have been lost there.

In fact two options could have came: 1st is that the tatars would formed a semi-pagan semi-muslim country, and the 2nd comes from this,

as the Holy Roman Empire wouldn't let them to do it and now here would be a „second Austria". After he came back, he built the fortress-system on our borders, which later became the essence of our identity.

So the fact that Bela then fled, he saved our nation with a huge effort and for example, he built the fortress-system on our borders, which later became the essence of our identity.

We couldn't been live in peace for that long with the Arpad's, as shortly after Bela they were burried on the field of history.

We've learned enough about the mixed-nation kings, we became big, then smaller, then rising, then fall, the war against turks had been started etc.

After it, our so called Fortress-era (please advise a better name for that), which is the most significant part of the forming of our identity:

hopeless battles against the turks (Szondi, Zrínyi, and the countless amount of heroes we have).

This desperation has became the part of our culture, you can see it in our folk (military) songs for example, where the singer (the soldier) always dies heroically.

Take a look at the Hungarian military songs, where at the end "oh they will bury me" or "cannonball will my the send-off"

Take a quick look to the German songs: they are always happy, and drink wine in Westerwald,

or the Russian songs which you can march through the plains from the Ural to Berlin.

But return to the turkish wars: it (the turkish era) has been formed our identity that significant,

that it's not a coincidence that we were the first who loudly said that we don't want the hordes of migrants

(okay that's just an actual problem), but we defend our identity really strong and this is what Western-Europe is out of.

But let's continue with the question of the Hungarians beyond the borders.

Now the szittya-s should turn off again, because triggerwarning for them:

Transilvanian identity is not part of the Hungarian identity. Why? Because it's completely differentiated.

In the case of a personality, the most impressive forming factors are the traumas.

Just like with a personality, the Hungarian and Transilvanian traumas was so different, that our identity remained the same only int he core.

It's kinda like (sorry for the Austrian-German viewers), the Austrian and German identity. They are completely different.

There are speareted identities in Austrian like Styrian or Carynthian, or in Germany: Saxon, Bavarian etc.

But basically, the two situations are very similar (Hungarian-Transylvanian/Austrian-German).

For us: one nation, but two different identity.

The common thing in us Transylvania and Hungary, is that both of us is unbacked.

This is still the continuity of heroism: war without allies, and existing without relatives.

So Hungarian and Transylvanian - let's call it now >Hungarian< identity is pretty much alone, we have no relatives.

So we were a bit unlucky - not like the neo-latin or german folks,

We are alone in the Carpaths, sometimes without any kind of alliance, but it's became our part that we can not count on anyone, only to ourself.

Okay, there's this finn-ugric stuff, but it's only about language genetics and also we are separated for thousands of kilometers.

So it's not like the cooperation between Austria and Bavaria (in historical context).

And this situation just get worst after the catholic-protestant contrast, which had been deepened the difference between our identity.

And this caused wars between us, and other significant traumas which completely separated the two identity,

and it has remained the same only in the very-core of it.

And triggerwarning again: the revolutions.

This must be grabbed in the root. We must not let that carnage or outlaw stuff become the part our identity,

because this causes a constant inner rebellion (nobles against king, peasant against nobility, etc.),

Here in Hungary it's pretty much exists, not like in other countries.

The continous rebellion always existed through our history.

I won't go int o historical evaluation, because Antal Pezenhoffer did this before,

if you are interested in my point of view about '48, it's close to Ferenc Herczeg's opinion about that chaotic situation.

That was the advertisement part for these books.

But it's also worth a separate topic, so subscribe!

I will repeat myself, as our identity is a very complex question, and we must not let our searching for identity lead us to a false way.

As I said before, we have a very strong identity with very strong roots, which couldn't shoot up because of the 70 years of cultural marxist oppression.

In Germany for example, the root has been removed and the GI Germany's duty is to rebuild the whole identity.

We must work on the shoot up of our roots to an even stronger identity.

I would like to help in this with this vlog. You all can argue about what's missing and what's not, maybe I will include it in the next video,

With this series, my goal is to open discussions about issues of patriotism and identitarianism.

If you liked it, then subscribe because more content will come about Hungarian identity, identitarianism,

And my plan is to travel to another European city.

and if you can, please support the GI Hungary's work through our foundation (link below). Bye!

Sessions is rescinding Obama-era directive for feds to back off marijuana - Duration: 13:55.

Sessions is rescinding Obama-era directive for feds to back off marijuana

By Matt Zapotosky and Sari Horwitz. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is rescinding an Obama-era directive that discouraged enforcement of federal marijuana laws in states that had legalized the substance, according to people familiar with the decision.

The move potentially paves the way for the federal government to crack down on the burgeoning pot industry — though the precise impact remains to be seen. Marijuana already was illegal under U.S.

law, even as federal prosecutors had been advised against bringing cases involving it in states that approved its use and sale.

The people who described Sessions's decision, first reported by the Associated Press, spoke on the condition of anonymity. A formal announcement was expected later Thursday.

Eight states and the District of Columbia have laws allowing for personal pot consumption, according to NORML, a group which advocates legalization and tracks pot-related legislation.

Sessions's Justice Department has long taken a hard line stance against marijuana, even effectively blocking the Drug Enforcement Administration from taking action on more than two dozen requests to grow marijuana to use in research.

Sessions has said in the past that he did not believe marijuana should be legalized, even suggesting at an appearance last year that medical marijuana had been "hyped, maybe too much." He and top Justice Department officials had long been reviewing the 2013 guidance from then Deputy Attorney James Cole directing federal prosecutors to effectively back off marijuana enforcement in states that had legalized the substance and had a system in place to regulate it.

In practice, that meant U.S.

attorneys in jurisdictions that had legalized marijuana at the state level were often reluctant to bring marijuana cases — though Cole's memo stressed that Congress had determined it to be an illegal drug that provided significant revenue to gangs.

They might now be more willing to consider such prosecutions — though they will still potentially have to contend with jurors sympathetic to defendants whose conduct would not be illegal under state law.

Pro-marijuana advocates have long been critical of Sessions's views on the topic, though his latest directive might also upset those in his own party.

Asked by a Colorado TV station in 2016 about using federal authority to shut down sales of recreational marijuana, President Trump said, "I wouldn't do that, no," but he was noncommittal on whether he would block his attorney general from doing so.

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) said on Twitter that the move "directly contradicts what Attorney General Sessions told me prior to his confirmation.".

With no prior notice to Congress, the Justice Department has trampled on the will of the voters in CO and other states," he wrote.

"I am prepared to take all steps necessary, including holding DOJ nominees, until the Attorney General lives up to the commitment he made to me prior to his confirmation.".

Sessions's move could have significant economic impacts, injecting even more uncertainty into investors already apprehensive about what the Justice Department might do when it comes to legal pot.

"If the Trump administration goes through with a crackdown on states that have legalized marijuana, they will be taking billions of dollars away from regulated, state-sanctioned businesses and putting that money back into the hands of drug cartels," said NORML Political Director Justin Strekal.

Some pro-pot advocates, too, sought to cast the move as a continuation of Sessions's war on drugs.

Early in his tenure, he reversed another Obama-era directive and instructed prosecutors to pursue the most serious, readily provable charge — even if that might trigger stiff mandatory minimum penalties for drug crimes.

AP NewsBreak: US to end policy that let legal pot flourish. Updated: JANUARY 4, 2018. by SADIE GURMAN, The Associated Press.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Attorney General Jeff Sessions is rescinding the Obama-era policy that had paved the way for legalized marijuana to flourish in states across the country, two people with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press.

Sessions will instead let federal prosecutors where pot is legal decide how aggressively to enforce federal marijuana law, the people said.

The people familiar with the plan spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it before an announcement expected Thursday.

The move by President Donald Trumps attorney general likely will add to confusion about whether its OK to grow, buy or use marijuana in states where pot is legal, since long-standing federal law prohibits it.

It comes days after pot shops opened in California, launching what is expected to become the worlds largest market for legal recreational marijuana and as polls show a solid majority of Americans believe the drug should be legal.

While Sessions has been carrying out a Justice Department agenda that follows Trumps top priorities on such issues as immigration and opioids, the changes to pot policy reflect his own concerns. Trumps personal views on marijuana remain largely unknown.

Sessions, who has assailed marijuana as comparable to heroin and has blamed it for spikes in violence, had been expected to ramp up enforcement.

Pot advocates argue that legalizing the drug eliminates the need for a black market and would likely reduce violence, since criminals would no longer control the marijuana trade.

The Obama administration in 2013 announced it would not stand in the way of states that legalize marijuana, so long as officials acted to keep it from migrating to places where it remained outlawed and out of the hands of criminal gangs and children.

Sessions is rescinding that memo, written by then-Deputy Attorney General James M. Cole, which had cleared up some of the uncertainty about how the federal government would respond as states began allowing sales for recreational and medical purposes.

The pot business has since become a sophisticated, multimillion-dollar industry that helps fund schools, educational programs and law enforcement.

Eight states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana for recreational use, and Californias sales alone are projected to bring in $1 billion annually in tax revenue within several years.

Sessions policy will let U.S. attorneys across the country decide what kinds of federal resources to devote to marijuana enforcement based on what they see as priorities in their districts, the people familiar with the decision said.

Sessions and some law enforcement officials in states such as Colorado blame legalization for a number of problems, including drug traffickers that have taken advantage of lax marijuana laws to hide in plain sight, illegally growing and shipping the drug across state lines, where it can sell for much more.

The decision was a win for pot opponents who had been urging Sessions to take action.

There is no more safe haven with regard to the federal government and marijuana, but its also the beginning of the story and not the end, said Kevin Sabet, president and CEO of Smart Approaches to Marijuana, who was among several anti-marijuana advocates who met with Sessions last month.

This is a victory. Its going to dry up a lot of the institutional investment that has gone toward marijuana in the last five years..

Threats of a federal crackdown have united liberals who object to the human costs of a war on pot with conservatives who see it as a states rights issue.

Some in law enforcement support a tougher approach, but a bipartisan group of senators in March urged Sessions to uphold existing marijuana policy. Others in Congress have been seeking ways to protect and promote legal pot businesses.

Marijuana advocates quickly condemned Sessions move as a return to outdated drug-war policies that unduly affected minorities.

Sessions wants to maintain a system that has led to tremendous injustice. and that has wasted federal resources on a huge scale, said Maria McFarland Sanchez-Moreno, executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance.

If Sessions thinks that makes sense in terms of prosecutorial priorities, he is in a very bizarre ideological state, or a deeply problematic one..

A task force Sessions convened to study pot policy made no recommendations for upending the legal industry but instead encouraged Justice Department officials to keep reviewing the Obama administrations more hands-off approach to marijuana enforcement, something Sessions promised to do since he took office.

The change also reflects yet another way in which Sessions, who served as a federal prosecutor at the height of the drug war in Mobile, Alabama, has reversed Obama-era criminal justice policies that aimed to ease overcrowding in federal prisons and contributed to a rethinking of how drug criminals were prosecuted and sentenced.

While his Democratic predecessor Eric Holder told federal prosecutors to avoid seeking long mandatory minimum sentences when charging certain lower level drug offenders, for example, Sessions issued an order demanding the opposite, telling them to pursue the most serious charges possible against most suspects.

Roger Federer: Why Jack Sock is DANGEROUS in Hopman Cup clash

Federer has won both of his rubbers so far this week, dispatching Yuichi Sugita and Karen Khachanov in straight sets to confirm his status as Australian Open favourite.

And now the Swiss has the chance to send himself and doubles partner Belinda Bencic into Saturday's final by beat Team USA in Thursday's tie.

But the 36-year-old has refused to underestimate Sock, whose infectious smile lit up the ATP Tour when he took is first ever Masters 1000 title in Paris last year. "I'm a big fan of his," Federer said.

"In a match like this I think he's going to be even more fun because it's a bit more light-hearted. "I think it makes him a bit more dangerous.

"The surroundings are perfect for him against me, what is there to lose?" The pair will likely play in front of a sold-out Perth Arena crowd of nearly 14,000.

But Sock shares Federer's confidence that the exhibition nature of the tournament, which saw the world No 2 laughing with the crowd between points on Tuesday, will help him.

"I think I play my best tennis when I'm relaxed, joking and engaging with the crowd, my girlfriend or my coach, whoever it is," Sock said. "I just want to have a good time out there, that's my kind of style.".

However, Sock will hope to be swinging freely after a hip injury forced him to retire from his match against Sugita earlier this week.

The 25-year-old suffered a nasty fall during the second set and did not want to risk his place at the Australian Open, which starts on January 15, by playing on.

Veteran Australian Pat Cash replaced him in the mixed doubles but Sock has declared himself fit for today's match against Federer.

The Master's Plan- The Question is too Small - Duration: 0:50.

Many of us are living lives where we are just trying to figure out a small answer,

"How do I get by?"

And God has a different question

"How can you build your life so that other people benefit from you existing?"

You want to be a part of God's Master Plan, you build your life not to answer the question

"How do I get by?"

That's too easy, that's too small in The Kingdom.

In God's Masterplan, that is not his design for you.

And as loving as I can be correcting, if you are asking yourself every year,

"How Do I Get by in 2018?", that question is too small.
