Little Boy Stands at Salute for Officers for Hours, Police Thank Him With Touching Gift - Duration: 2:25.

A Georgia boy recently showed his respects for a fallen officer with a touching gesture.

Cohen Chastain, who is three-years-old, stood at attention for hours as the funeral procession

of fallen officer Det.

Kristen Hearne made its way through Polk Country on Oct. 3.

A co-worker of Hearne's sent photos of the boy wearing his policeman "uniform" with

the following message: "This little guy stood for the entire funeral procession saluting

every police car as they passed.

I can't tell you what this means to the LE community.

It just touched a lot of us here."

Cohen's mother, Mandy Brooks Chastain, explained to WSB-TV how the events unfolded and why

Cohen wanted to salute the passing officers.

Chastain said her family attends the church where Hearne's funeral service was held.

The family attended the visitation to pay their respects, and Cohen wanted to know why

so many police officers were at his church.

"I told him the truth.

I told him that a police officer got shot and killed by a 'bad guy,'" Chastain said.

"He totally understood and he seemed so heartbroken."

Chastain then explained to her son that the funeral would be the next day, and when she

asked him if he wanted to attend, he told her he did.

The little guy even wanted to salute wearing a uniform.

"Cohen has always looked up to police officers.

He is so sweet and has always had the biggest heart," she said.

"He loves superheroes and thinks of police officers as real life superheroes," she

added.

"He stood out there on that stool for hours saluting each officer that came by.

He made us so proud."

What this boy did is touching and awesome, but the story gets better.

On Oct. 24, the Floyd County Sheriff's department gave Cohen a gift to show how much they appreciated

his gesture — a personalized electric toy police car with flashing lights, WSB-TV reported.

And that's not all.

After Cohen received the police car, he led those in attendance in a rendition of the

Pledge of Allegiance.

Take a look.

It just doesn't get much better than a little boy with a genuine desire to show respect

for the men and women who risk their lives at work every day.

Cohen had more respect for the American flag and our officers than dozens of pampered millionaire

football players.

Those grown men should take a leaf out of his book.

Hey guys, how's it going welcome back to my channel so for today's video

I just want to talk to you guys about my top 3 fall and winter outerwear pieces to get you guys ready for the fall

No, not for the fall, but for the cold and rainy months

so with that being said let's just go ahead with my fall and winter outerwear essentials video

For the first outerwear that I'm showing to you guys today is this parka jacket

That I got from Zara a couple years ago, and don't worry you guys I would also leave

Some alternatives down in the description down below

Anyways, what I love about parka jacket is how simple and functional they are rain or shine storm

Or not this jacket will be there to keep you warm

So if you're looking for something that is pretty much universal you could wear at any situation

Utilitarian a parka jacket will be there

It will be your best friend, and you don't even have to worry about it so definitely for the first outerwear

That I'm recommending to you guys is a parka jacket

Now if you guys are looking for something thats a little bit more stylish

Other than a parka jacket a mackintosh is also a great alternative

And if you don't know what a mackintosh is it's basically just like a raincoat it works in the same way

Its main function is to repel the water away from you to keep you

dry from the rain in the way it does this

Is by having at least multiple bonded layers of cotton or a rubberized fabric

But keep in mind though

Since this is kind of like a raincoat you might want to double layer on the inside because it will not be there

To keep you comfort during a chilly day

But if you want something that is impermeable from the rain a mackintosh I would say is a great jacket

So for my last item that I'm sharing to you guys today is this

Overcoat that I got from J.crew, and the reason why I have this is because they are just so inherently versatile

Classic and timeless that you could basically pair it with any types of clothing whether it be jeans, shirt, pants, trousers

A Tank top and no matter what you do you would still look dressy because an overcoat can just elevate any types of

Outfit, but I just want to say though that if you are getting one just make sure that the fit is right

It's not droopy, it's not baggy, it's not billowy and...

try to get at least for material cashmere or wool because they just

Feel amazing and look amazing and as for the color

I would highly suggest you guys either getting a camel one which I'm planning to get

Soon in the future a grey one and also a black because those colors just complements any types of outfits
