Person Centered Planning is a set of approaches designed to assist someone to plan their life

and supports.

It is used most often as a life planning model to enable individuals with disabilities or

otherwise requiring support, to increase their personal self determination and to improve

their own independence.

It is a unique process that focuses on a persons gifts, talents and dreams.

This can be around a particular area of their life such as ones future independent living

or ones whole life and looking ahead.

Using a process called Mapping, friends, family and others, including the individual can share

information to build their Person Centered Plan.

Person Centered Planning includes path to action plans, focusing on key questions and

themes, questions such as "who am I?", my history, gifts, talents, what works?, what

needs and fears do I have, are just a few examples.

Inviting people who are a part of the persons life such as friends, family members, neighbors,

school teachers, can all be invited to help with the process.

Finally, graphic recording can show us pictures or words so that all abilities can understand

the plan and that way we honor the whole person.

PAVE has trained staff planners available statewide.

Please contact us to find out resources available for you to get a Person-Centered Plan or to

Just Jane: Rat boyfriend is bedding slut

But he has been sleeping with our slutty neighbour for months. What makes things worse is that she's a joke figure – a user and a schemer who has ripped off friends and bedded loads of guys around here.

For him to want sex with her makes me feel like a piece of trash. From her massive plastic boobs and caterpillar eyes brows to her Botoxed lips and fake bum, he could not have stooped any lower.

In May he was made redundant. It was a devastating blow.

We agreed he'd become a house-husband while I went full-time. Now my window cleaner (who is married to one of my closest friends), has reported seeing my bloke in compromising situations with this scummy neighbour.

I've confronted him and he's promised me it won't happen again, but he won't say sorry because he felt driven to cheat through boredom and the urge to let rip. How can we get through this?.

It's possible that losing his job and being stuck at home has left your man feeling emasculated. I'm not attempting to excuse his outrageous behaviour, but this fact may go some way to explaining it.

Keep talking to him. You both have to conclude that this experiment has been a mistake (because he needs to feel that he's your equal) and that he needs to get back into the work place again.

What are his options? Can he retrain or go into a new field? As for him refusing to apologise, I suggest you tell him this is really important if you're to rebuild the trust – or doesn't he want that? Also, do you need to have a conversation with your colourful neighbour to tell her to keep away from you? Or is he going to give her the message that this nonsense ends here?.
