Rafael Nadal claim made by Greg Rusedski at Paris Masters... is he right?

The two old rivals, who shared all four Grand Slams between them, have played one another four times in 2017.

Federer has won all four of them but instead its a game against Grigor Dimitrov that Rusedski thinks is one of the best.

Nadal and Dimitrov played out a five-set thriller at the Australian Open in January which the Spaniard edged 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3.   And its that which sticks out for Rusedski as one of the matches of the year.

He told Sky Sports: At the beginning of the year Dimitrov played Rafa in Australia - it was probably one of the matches of the year where he lost in five sets.

One of the biggest improvements is the fitness skills [of Dimitrov].   Hes so light on his feet, he hits so many more balls, he defends so incredibly well.   I think thats one of the biggest improvements in his game..

Dimitrov and Nadal could meet again at the ATP World Tour finals later this month having both qualified.   The Bulgarian will have plenty of time to prepare after his Paris Masters campaign was ended early by John Isner today.

Dimitrov was 5-2 up in the deciding set with a match point to win it before Isner came charging back.

The big-serving American fought back to level before winning on a tie-break to keep his own dreams of playing in London alive.

DOJ Finally Does Its Job: White Collar Thug Is Arrested - Duration: 1:30.

And, finally tonight, some good news for victims of the deadly opioid epidemic.

A former drug company CEO was arrested and taken in by federal officers on charges of

bribery and fraud.

John Kapoor was taken in by handcuffs after federal agents raided his home in Arizona.

He was charged with bribing doctors in the form of kickbacks to write large amounts of

prescriptions of the opioid pain killer, fentanyl, to people who didn't need it.

Prosecutors say Kapoor's company, Insys, paid doctors hundreds of thousands of dollars and

one report alleges those kickback bribes reached well over $2 million in 2016 alone.

Fentanyl is known to be a very powerful and addictive drug and it was approved by the

FDA to treat patients with incredible amounts of pain due to cancer, primarily.

It wasn't meant for anyone else outside of that category, but for a man and company who

craved profits over lives, that fact clearly didn't matter.

Kapoor was ordered to surrender his passport and wear an electric monitoring device.

Kapoor, if convicted, could face serious prison time and for a man who pushed a drug that

recently caused more overdose deaths in America than cocaine, meth and heroin, that's poetic

justice.

Good news is that Capoor could spend years behind bars, and the DOJ's long-term policy

of special treatment for white collar criminals could possibly be coming to an end after eight

years of sweetheart deals for Wall Street criminals.

JULIE STOTT COLUMN: Rugby League World Cup is chance for new stars to shine

Garry Lo doesn't quite fit into that category because he's been strutting some impressive stuff in the Championship. Over the last two seasons, the Papua New Guinea winger has ripped in for 50 tries for Sheffield Eagles - 38 this year alone.

But the Kumuls' 50-6 win over Wales last weekend brought the explosive flier to the attention of a much wider audience. And liking their lips more than most, at the chance to see more of him, are Castleford Tigers fans.

The Grand Finalists made a canny move by signing him on a two-year deal before the World Cup kicked off.

It stopped any other clubs from making a move, once they saw exactly what he is promising on the world stage. It also gives the Tigers a new string to their already hugely successful attacking bow for next season.

They averaged 32 points a game on their march to Old Trafford, with winger Greg Eden scoring 38 tries. He was the runaway top try scorer in Super League and opposite winger Greg Minikin was fourth on the list with 19.

Both are elusive and lightening quick but neither will break down a barn door on the way to the try line.

And that's what Lo offers - he's stocky, powerful, very quick and also loves to bulldoze his way past opponents if necessary.

It will be interesting to see how coach Daryl Powell selects his team now he's got the explosive new signing, who was 24 yesterday.

But there will be plenty of envious eyes from rival supporters on Sunday when Lo and co take on Ireland in the World Cup.

*Champions Leeds will play two Super League games at Elland Road next season while Headingley is redeveloped with Danny McGuire's Hull KR the first visitors on February 8.

The Rhinos are aiming to attract a record crowd for the homecoming of former half back McGuire, who won eight Super League titles with the club. All televised Thursday and Friday night matches will have an earlier kick-off time of 7.45pm.
