Waching daily Jan 3 2017

Last year I entered TCR #4.

Simply put, it's a race between Belgium and Turkey.

If you want the longer version, longer description,

well, it's a non-supported bicycle race which has no stages,

so it's one start and one finish,

and you need to go through 4 checkpoints which were, last year,

France, Switzerland, then Italy, Montenegro, and the finish was south of Istanbul, Turkey.

So basically, you have to do the fastest you can 3,800 kilometers,

depending on what routes you choose,

and you need to do it as fast as possible.

So the leader is going to take 10 or 8 days,

and the last person standing is going to take probably a month.

The deal is to cross Europe as fast as you can.

So going across a continent,

the most important equipment choice you're going to make is going to be the bicycle.

You need some checkboxes to be marked in order to get from Belgium to Turkey,

and the Gennix D platform just answered everything that was needed to cross the continent.

First and foremost, you need a bike that's going to be durable.

You're not going to want to be in Croatia and have a crack or whatever.

So we tested the platform, I've ridden over 12,000 kilometers on it,

and I can bomb-proof it, and I can sell to anybody that it is extremely sturdy.

It's made out of carbon, extremely stiff.

So that's the first point. Something reliable, on all your rides.

Second thing, super important, be confident on the ride.

You're going to go up to 2,500 meters high, you're going to go on descents up to 100 km,

you need to be confident in your handling, in your braking power, and it's disc-equipped.

So basically you're going to have confidence all over, all across.

You're going to hit some gravel roads and still remain in control.

The third point, comfort, but still performance-oriented.

So basically the geometry of the bike allows you to remain super strong, super performant

and fast on the bicycle, as well as enabling comfort at the back,

so you can do those 15 hours a day, no problem.

So comfort linked into performance, this is the platform that we are going to give you.

And you want something that's light, with the carbon platform you've got everything settled down for an amazing ride.

Overall, the versatility of this platform enables you to go pretty much everywhere in Europe.

And I've been to Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, hit some nasty gravel roads,

been chased by dogs…

Basically, it's a do-it-all bike. You can just go anywhere, and we've demonstrated that with the TCR.

4 larger-than-life lessons from soap operas | Kate Adams - Duration: 12:28.

In 1987, Tina Lord found herself in quite the pickle.

See, this gold digger made sure she married sweet Cord Roberts

just before he inherited millions.

But when Cord found out Tina loved his money

as much as she loved him,

he dumped her.

Cord's mother Maria was thrilled

until they hooked up again.

So Maria hired Max Holden to romance Tina

and then made sure Cord didn't find out Tina was pregnant with his baby.

So Tina, still married but thinking Cord didn't love her

flew to Argentina with Max.

Cord finally figured out what was going on

and rushed after them, but he was too late.

Tina had already been kidnapped,

strapped to a raft and sent over a waterfall.

She and her baby were presumed dead.

Cord was sad for a bit,

but then he bounced right back

with a supersmart archaeologist named Kate,

and they had a gorgeous wedding

until Tina, seemingly back from the dead, ran into the church holding a baby.

"Stop!" she screamed.

"Am I too late?

Cord, I've come so far.

This is your son."

And that, ladies and gentlemen,

is how the soap opera "One Life to Live" introduced a love story

that lasted 25 years.

(Laughter)

Now, if you've ever seen a soap opera,

you know the stories and the characters can be exaggerated, larger than life,

and if you're a fan, you find that exaggeration fun,

and if you're not,

maybe you find them melodramatic or unsophisticated.

Maybe you think watching soap operas

is a waste of time,

that their bigness means their lessons are small or nonexistent.

But I believe the opposite to be true.

Soap operas reflect life, just bigger.

So there are real life lessons we can learn from soap operas,

and those lessons are as big and adventurous

as any soap opera storyline.

Now, I've been a fan since I ran home from the bus stop in second grade

desperate to catch the end of Luke and Laura's wedding,

the biggest moment in "General Hospital" history.

(Applause)

So you can imagine how much I loved my eight years

as the assistant casting director on "As the World Turns."

My job was watching soap operas,

reading soap opera scripts

and auditioning actors to be on soap operas.

So I know my stuff.

(Laughter)

And yes, soap operas

are larger than life,

drama on a grand scale,

but our lives can be filled with as much intensity,

and the stakes can feel just as dramatic.

We cycle through tragedy and joy

just like these characters.

We cross thresholds, fight demons and find salvation unexpectedly,

and we do it again and again and again,

but just like soaps, we can flip the script,

which means we can learn from these characters

that move like bumblebees,

looping and swerving through life.

And we can use those lessons

to craft our own life stories.

Soap operas teach us to push away doubt

and believe in our capacity

for bravery, vulnerability,

adaptability and resilience.

And most importantly, they show us

it's never too late to change your story.

So with that, let's start with soap opera lesson one:

surrender is not an option.

(Laughter)

"All My Children"'s Erica Kane was daytime's version of Scarlett O'Hara,

a hyperbolically self-important princess

who deep down was scrappy and daring.

Now, in her 41 years on TV, perhaps Erica's most famous scene

is her alone in the woods

suddenly face to face with a grizzly bear.

She screamed at the bear,

"You may not do this!

Do you understand me?

You may not come near me!

I am Erica Kane

and you are a filthy beast!"

(Laughter)

And of course the bear left,

so what that teaches us

is obstacles are to be expected

and we can choose to surrender or we can stand and fight.

Pandora's Tim Westergren knows this better than most.

You might even call him the Erica Kane of Silicon Valley.

Tim and his cofounders launched the company

with two million dollars in funding.

They were out of cash the next year.

Now, lots of companies fold at that point, but Tim chose to fight.

He maxed out 11 credit cards and racked up six figures in personal debt

and it still wasn't enough.

So every two weeks for two years on payday he stood in front of his employees

and he asked them to sacrifice their salaries,

and it worked.

More than 50 people deferred two million dollars,

and now, more than a decade later,

Pandora is worth billions.

When you believe that there is a way

around or through whatever is in front of you,

that surrender is not an option,

you can overcome enormous obstacles.

Which brings us to soap opera lesson two:

sacrifice your ego and drop the superiority complex.

Now, this is scary.

It's an acknowledgment of need or fallibility.

Maybe it's even an admission

that we're not as special as we might like to think.

Stephanie Forrester of "The Bold and the Beautiful"

thought she was pretty darn special.

She thought she was so special,

she didn't need to mix with the riffraff from the valley,

and she made sure valley girl Brooke knew it.

But after nearly 25 years of epic fighting,

Stephanie got sick and let Brooke in.

They made amends,

archenemies became soul mates

and Stephanie died in Brooke's arms,

and here's our takeaway.

Drop your ego.

Life is not about you.

It's about us,

and our ability to experience joy

and love and to improve our reality

comes only when we make ourselves vulnerable

and we accept responsibility for our actions

and our inactions,

kind of like Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks.

Now, after a great run as CEO,

Howard stepped down in 2000,

and Starbucks quickly overextended itself

and stock prices fell.

Howard rejoined the team in 2008,

and one of the first things he did

was apologize to all 180,000 employees.

He apologized.

And then he asked for help, honesty, and ideas in return.

And now, Starbucks has more than doubled

its net revenue since Howard came back.

So sacrifice your desire to be right or safe all the time.

It's not helping anyone, least of all you.

Sacrifice your ego.

Soap opera lesson three:

evolution is real.

You're not meant to be static characters.

On television, static equals boring and boring equals fired.

Characters are supposed to grow and change.

Now, on TV, those dynamic changes

can make for some rough transitions,

particularly when a character is played by one person yesterday

and played by someone new today.

Recasting happens all the time on soaps.

Over the last 20 years,

four different actors have played the same key role

of Carly Benson on "General Hospital."

Each new face triggered a change in the character's life and personality.

Now, there was always an essential nugget of Carly in there,

but the character and the story adapted to whomever was playing her.

And here's what that means for us.

While we may not swap faces in our own lives,

we can evolve too.

We can choose to draw a circle around our feet and stay in that spot,

or we can open ourselves to opportunities

like Carly, who went from nursing student to hotel owner,

or like Julia Child.

Julia was a World War II spy,

and when the war ended, she got married, moved to France,

and decided to give culinary school a shot.

Julia, her books and her TV shows revolutionized the way America cooks.

We all have the power to initiate change in our lives,

to evolve and adapt.

We make the choice,

but sometimes life chooses for us, and we don't get a heads up.

Surprise slams us in the face.

You're flat on the ground, the air is gone,

and you need resuscitation.

So thank goodness for soap opera lesson four:

resurrection is possible.

(Laughter)

(Applause)

In 1983, "Days of Our Lives"' Stefano DiMera died of a stroke,

but not really, because in 1984

he died when his car plunged into the harbor,

and yet he was back in 1985 with a brain tumor.

(Laughter)

But before the tumor could kill him,

Marlena shot him, and he tumbled off a catwalk to his death.

And so it went for 30 years.

(Laughter)

Even when we saw the body,

we knew better.

He's called the Phoenix for a reason.

And here's what that means for us.

As long as the show is still on the air,

or you're still breathing,

nothing is permanent.

Resurrection is possible.

Now, of course, just like life,

soap operas do ultimately meet the big finale.

CBS canceled my show, "As The World Turns," in December 2009,

and we shot our final episode

in June 2010.

It was six months of dying

and I rode that train right into the mountain.

And even though we were in the middle of a huge recession

and millions of people were struggling to find work,

I somehow thought everything would be OK.

So I packed up the kids and the Brooklyn apartment,

and we moved in with my in-laws

in Alabama.

(Laughter)

Three months later, nothing was OK.

That was when I watched the final episode air,

and I realized the show was not the only fatality.

I was one too.

I was unemployed and living on the second floor

of my in-laws' home,

and that's enough to make anyone feel dead inside.

(Laughter)

But I knew my story wasn't over,

that it couldn't be over.

I just had to tap into everything I had ever learned about soap operas.

I had to be brave like Erica and refuse to surrender,

so every day, I made a decision to fight.

I had to be vulnerable like Stephanie

and sacrifice my ego.

I had to ask for help a lot of times across many states.

I had to be adaptable like Carly

and evolve my skills, my mindset, and my circumstances,

and then I had to be resilient, like Stefano,

and resurrect myself and my career

like a phoenix from the ashes.

Eventually I got an interview.

After 15 years in news and entertainment,

nine months of unemployment

and this one interview,

I had an offer for an entry level job.

I was 37 years old

and I was back from the dead.

We will all experience what looks like an ending,

and we can choose to make it a beginning.

Kind of like Tina, who miraculously survived that waterfall,

and because I hate to leave a cliffhanger hanging,

Tina and Cord did get divorced,

but they got remarried three times before the show went off the air in 2012.

So remember,

as long as there is breath in your body,

it's never too late to change your story.

Thank you.

(Applause)

Everyone's trying to pursue

work-life balance.

For me, I prefer to leave the

Beltway and engage in activities

sort of in the outdoors.

So, spending time in the cabin

all weekend, getting on the lake

and canoeing and hiking and

taking in the fresh air and

seeing some of the animals that

run through.

So, once you get your batteries

Mist - Duration: 2:45.

Did we lose ourselves along the way?

Will it ever be the same?

Springtime air, tomorrow never comes

We hide our eyes from the setting sun

If I cry will I find the good old days?

Oh I'd kill for another day with you

Oh my love, you would say

"I'm never leaving you"

But those days

faded into mist

Summer mist, do you remember me?

We lost the way our lives used to be

But for now I'll smile back the tears

Begging God

If only you were here

Melting snow

Hold me close

If I cry will I find the good old days?

Did you know it is legal for the government to steal? - Duration: 3:47.

- Did you know that it's legal for the government to steal?

That's the simplest description of an actual law known as

Civil Asset Forfeiture.

It lets prosecutors take permanent ownership

of a person's property without having to charge them

with let alone convict them of a crime.

Now we live in a system where people are theoretically

presumed innocent until they're proven guilty,

but this process allows the government to treat

your property differently, often assuming it is guilty

until you can prove it innocent

of being connected to a crime.

This awkward arrangement means that the state isn't

prosecuting you, but your stuff.

It leads to court cases like the State of Utah versus $500

or the State of Utah versus a 2007 Black Mazda.

Around the country, forfeitures become so lucrative

for government agencies that, according to

the Washington Post, prosecutors now take more property

from people than burglars do.

Focusing on the property rather than the person

creates a perverse incentive for prosecutors,

rather than focusing on building evidence of a crime

and punishing the perpetrator, prosecutors and police

become motivated by money.

- [23rd Agent] Are there any large sums of money

over $5,000 in cash in the vehicle?

- [Policeman] How much money you got?

- [Policeman] Any large amounts of U.S. currency in there?

- I'll take whatever cash you got in there

and is that a Slurpee in the cup holder, what flavor?

Grape, nevermind.

Do you know what?

I will take it, I'll take it.

(audience laughs)

In many cases, no criminal charges are filed

against the property owner at all.

When they are filed, prosecutors often agree

to drop the criminal charges if the person

allows the government to keep the seized property.

That's not justice, it's corruption.

Libertas Institute has been fighting civil asset forfeiture

in Utah for several years, starting with our investigative

report in 2013 showing that the Attorney General's office

deceived the entire legislature into passing a law

that undermined property rights and due process,

thereby making it easier for prosecutors

to forfeit property.

Since that time, police and prosecutors have teamed up

to fight our reform effort and preserve the status quo.

Two years ago we proposed a change in the law

requiring the government to furnish detailed information

about each forfeiture.

That proposal became law and earlier this year we gained

our first glimpse of how forfeiture is working in Utah.

The results are, perhaps, unsurprising,

though certainly alarming.

98% of forfeitures were for alleged drug offenses,

almost every single one

and 86% of the property taken was cash.

The average amount was just above $1300.

Now imagine if you had a thousand dollars taken

by the government due to its belief that

you were gonna buy drugs even though you weren't.

Would you pay a lawyer five thousand dollars to fight

the forfeiture in hopes of reclaiming only one thousand?

Clearly not.

This explains why most forfeitures in Utah

are not contested, most people simply walk away

and let the government keep the property.

Crime shouldn't pay, it's true, but there's another type

of forfeiture, criminal forfeiture, which lets

the government take property from convicted criminals.

Those who are presumed innocent should not have

their property permanently taken by the government

until they're proven guilty.

- Rough night, huh?

Ah, well, it's about to get a lot rougher.

That's 2500 in cash and you want it hanging out

in somebody's glove box, huh?

Answer me.

- Civil Asset Forfeiture needs to be reformed in Utah.

Unfortunately, our tax dollars are funding those

who are fighting against that reform.

The Attorney General's office,

police chiefs, sheriffs, county prosecutors, and more.

Innocent until proven guilty, it's a bedrock American

principle, one that Civil Asset Forfeiture violates.

It's time to put a stop to legalized theft.

For Libertas Institute, I'm Connor Boyack.

UBC discovery a win for problem gamblers - Duration: 1:48.

The insula is a region of the brain that is involved in something that you might not think

about much but it's the way your body is feeling.

So, are you hungry?

Are you thirsty?

Do you feel nauseous?

Is your heart rate changing?

All these things are coded by the insula, and we can now add gambling craving to that list.

We invited 19 people with a gambling problem to come to our MRI centre and whilst they

were in the MRI scanner, we showed them a series of photographs.

With these photographs, we did manage to elicit a craving response in people with a gambling

problem.

We found that this craving response led to increased brain activity in the gamblers compared

to the control participants and this was within multiple regions of the brain, including the

insula.

The higher their craving rating, the more active the insula was.

So this really shows us that the insula is really coding this craving.

One way that these findings are important is that they highlight the similarities between

gambling disorder and substance addiction.

We can see that these same parts of the brain respond to drug related cues in substance

users as we're seeing respond to gambling cues in problem gamblers.

It also raises a lot of interesting avenues for treatment.

In terms of being able to reduce insula activity, we might be able to reduce cravings.

And in our ongoing work, we're looking at a medication called naltrexone that affects

the opioid system.

We know that there are lots of opioid receptors in the insula.

2017 Discbound BuJo Setup Part 1 - Project Notebook - Duration: 10:40.

Hello guys!

This is Nicole, from @nicoles.journal.

In today's video I'm going to show you my Bullet Journal setup for 2017.

This is going to be a 2 part video, because I didn't want to make the video too long.

The first part is going to be my Junior size notebook and the second part is going to be

the setup for my Mini size notebook.

My covers are from Jane's Agenda and the discs are from Circa and The Happy Planner.

The inner cover of my notebook is the Ice Cream dashboard from my store.

It protrects the first section of the notebook that has some doodles for inspiration, header

ideas for my BuJo, some font ideas and other decorative elements.

I keep them here so they are easily accessible for when I am creating a spread and I need

some inspiration.

Then, I have some tabs from Jane's Agenda that I use to section out my notebook into

different months.

This way I always know when I months start in the notebook.

They are available in different colors and the are also removable so I can use them multiple

times.

They come in a loose sheet, so I hole punched it to have it in my notebook.

These are my printable monthly tracker stickers, printed on sticker paper ready to be used.

I also have my daily time trackers.

I know a lot of you want to know how to use them, so I'll be making a video about it soon.

Basically, it works like a clock and I use it to track the time that I spend doing different

activities during my day.

If you go to Etsy, you'll see I have a mini tutorial in the last picture of the listing.

So you can check that out in the mean time if you want to see how it works.

I printed a bunch of these so I have enough for a few months.

The second divider is also from my store.

In this section I have the printed workbook I bought from Alexis or Misstrenchcoat about

SMART goal setting and how to execute your goals.

This workbook helped me a lot to plan my goals for the next few years.

I have it in here for future reference and, basically, all the goal setting that you'll see in this notebook and the other notebook will be based on what she said in the workbook.

The third divider is where I am going to plan my months

and to track and journal about my weeks.

This 2017 calendar is one of the free printables I am giving you guys in this video.

To download it, click the link the description box and it will take you to the Dropbox folder

where I uploaded it along with the rest of the free printables that'll be showing in this video.

This is how I setup my goals for 2017.

I divded them into Internal goals and External goals like Alexis recommends.

In my internal goals I have 2 personal projects.

In my External goals I have 1 Community project and 4 Career projects.

These are also specific classifications she talks about in the workbook.

This might seem like a small amount of goals for a whole year, but I did this on purpose

so that I don't plan too many things in advance and not hinder my ability to take on any projects

that come up.

She also recommends to classify each goal into 3 categories: projects, routines and bucket

list goals.

At the moment, I don't have any bucket list goal, but the goals on the top are the projects

I definitely want to accomplish this year and the bottom are the routines I want to

incorporate into my daily schedule.

For my projects, I assigned a time frame in which I want to work on and complete them.

Making this timechart helped me to easily visualize, how many projects I have going

on at the same time, so that I don't over-commit during these specific time frames.

Using two of her worksheets: The Project Planning worksheet and the SMART goal worksheet, and

taking the list of goals that I wrote before, I wrote down specific details for each goal

to help me define what I had to do to accomplish it.

Information such as what the goal is about, when I wanted to start working on it and the

deadline, how I'm working on it or what actions steps I should take, and so on.

My first personal goal is related to my boyfriend and I, so I left it blank because we're setting

it up after the new year starts, but you can see an example of how I used the sheets with

my Fitness Diary project.

Next year I want to start a fitness diary to record how my body changes as I train and

become stronger and healthier.

Besides the weight training and pole fitness training I'm doing, I will also start a new

diet so I am hoping to see big changes in my body and well being in general.

Some of the specific information Alexis recommends to write are the resources you need and have,

and the action steps you need to execute to work towards completing your goal.

Since my fitness diary is going to be a small monthly project, I'll have to repeat the same

action steps every month of the year, so I wrote them down here in a list to have them together.

I will also rate the month with a 5 stars system, so I broke down how many stars I'm

giving myself for my performance in terms of my diet (2), the training itself (2) and how well

I keep up with taking my supplements (1).

I did the same process with some of the other goals.

The ones that I did not cover in my notebook are in my Evernote notebook because I felt

they were easier to track and plan with a digital notebook and apps.

As an example, one of the goals I have is to complete an app I am designing with my

sister.

So, in order to be able to easily share the information I have with her, I make digital

notes and share them.

The next section of my journal has my monthly plans and weekly layouts.

I created these beautiful coloring pages to use them as my month covers.

If you follow me on instagram you probably saw this one I colored on Christmas day.

These calendars are available on my Etsy store.

There's two versions of them: one with a BuJo style calendar on the back and another with

a classic calendar and a notes page at the end of the month, so you can choose the design

that works best for you.

They are undated, so you can start planning on them whenever you want throughout the year.

I'm using the BuJo style for January, and I'll keep you updated if I change to the other layout for other months.

Since I'll be doing monthly plan with me videos

I'll keep you updated on how anything changes in my notebook

For the first months of the year, I am going to

be using this simple 1 page setup.

I decided to do this because I know I have more things going on during these months and

I want to focus on working towards completing the goals I set for myself.

I have a monthly tracker where I plan to keep track of when I upload Youtube videos and

when I post on Instagram. I want to upload every Friday and post on Instagram pretty much every other day.

The next part is my Projects Master List for the month.

First I decided what videos I want to record and here I left 2 spots open because I want

you to tell me what videos you'd like me to create.

I want to make sure I'm giving you guys the content you want too.

A big announcement that I wanted to make is that I will go back to making Patreon content

next month.

Patreon is a platform that allows artists to share content with their followers and

receive a small support from them every month.

This way, followers help the artist create content on a regular basis.

The way my Patreon works right now is that you get whatever artistic content I was going

to create for Etsy at a lower price.

For example, the calendars are listed at $8 on Etsy, but they are part of the $3 reward on Patreon.

If this sounds interesting to you, definitely go check it out.

The final section is for 'the future'.

Basically, this is a space where I plan to write down anything that comes up such as

an idea or a project that I might want to consider to do or be part of in the future.

Now here is my weekly setup.

It's similar to I had done before with a weekly header, a list of the 5 projects I want to

work on and the top 3 tasks I accomplished each day.

Something new I added to it was a time log.

In this time log I will track how much time I am investing into the different projects

I set out to complete this month.

I also have a gratitude section and, similar to my Fitness Diary, I'm going to rate the

week considering how productive I was and how I felt during the week.

On the back I just have a blank page to journal about my week.

That's pretty much the whole setup

The rest of the notebook are blank pages and some coloring calendars I printed in advance.

This is everything for today's video.

If you liked it, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.

KNK - U (Eng/Greek subs) - Duration: 3:37.

I hate you but I need you

I hate you but I miss you

Your beautiful and dazzling eyes It doesn't shine anymore

Your warm lips Speak coldly now

You, I'm sorry baby say goodbye

I hate you

My hands can't let go of you My heart still calls out to you

No matter how much I stretch out I can't reach you,

that's how far your heart has gotten I can't hold onto you

It's over, why am I the only one hurting?

It's over, I curse at you and hate you but

In the end, I'm calling out to you again Hurry and hold me

I need you, come back to me

So I can breathe again

I don't care if it hurts I only need you, I need you

I need you U, U, U, U

I only need you, I need you

Hurry and save me from this endless maze

Take me out of this darkness without any light

Everything has stopped

My watch is broken, it's ticking in place

I'll be waiting for you

I can't do anything without you

I close my eyes but I still see you

The more time passes, the deeper my longing grows

In there, I'm drawing you out

It's over, why am I the only one hurting?

It's over, I curse at you and hate you but

In the end, I'm calling out to you again

Hurry and hold me

I need you, come back to me So I can breathe again

I don't care if it hurts I only need you, I need you

I need you U, U, U, U

I only need you, I need you, I need you

Your voice that called out to me Your warm eyes,

All of you It still remains so clearly with me

But where are you? Where are you now?

I can't live without you

I hate you but I need you

I hate you but I miss you

I need you, come back to me

So I can breathe again

I don't care if it hurts I only need you, I need you

I need you U, U, U, U

I only need you, I need you

Sharedmotions - The next generation share channels for Telegram & Soundcloud - Duration: 9:21.

Hey guys, this is something i've been working for some days

In the last weeks of 2016

And pratically, it's a website where you can share your soundcloud songs

I pratically get this idea when i was listening to cracked walls

By Florian Picasso, because that origami usually in Florian Picasso songs, i mean video songs

Give me the idea to create something where everybody could share a song, giving a soundcloud link

Currently, it (the song) get shared only in telegram, at this channel here (@sharedmotions)

And i'm gonna let you see what we can do

So, there's also the mobile version of it, so you can search for it (the website)

Just by going to this site it will also understand if you are in the mobile or in the computer

So, these are the last shared songs

WTF did i said?

But if you ask to load more songs, it will get more songs here

And i'm gonna show you, kust by taking the song from Florian Picasso, because i like it

And i think that everybody should listen this (obviously you could not like it, tastes are tastes)

He's really an artist that i like

So, eeeh (lol), i don't know if he has it in soundcloud

OK, it's on the spinnin records

And, by just taking the url, at paste it here

We can share the song

The track have been successfully added

So, we see here that the channel send us the message

I'm currently understanding how to do with the api (soundcloud api)

Because pratically, soundcloud api are changed (you must send a request form to get the api key)

"Livin' for ya" it's in the background

And that's it, just by clicking here, you get redirected to the channel at telegram

And by clicking here, on the page that will be on soundcloud (why will? it's already there :D)

By clicking here you can go to my links (my pages) on soundcoloud (and fb & yt)

And this button here, is really a cool thing, because it's something interesting

If you, by clicking, you can just get to a song, a random song, which have been posted here

And i think that it's really cool because if you want to know (listen) something different that people created

You can just click this button, and it everytime take different song

Not interesting things here, subtitles forward

By the way, this is how it works

This is just in "about" to explain what this website do

I hope to soon add soundcloud because it's really a cool idea to have a portal where to send music and share it to other people

And it can be done in the right way, if nobody subscribe to these channels it's some thing just useless

So, if you want also tu subscribe to these channels here, it's a cool thing

Because you can listen to other people's tracks and bla bla bla

I was expecting an "Happy new 2017"

bla bla bla

We also have an internation edm producers telegram group) link in description

Real positive or negative feedback are essentials in my opinion

Without music now you should understand me (i hope)

12 Surprising Uses for Vicks VapoRub You Might Not Know - Duration: 4:14.

12 Surprising Uses for Vicks Vapo Rub. Vicks Vapo Rub has been around for over 100 years

and is one of the most widely used over-the-counter decongestants.

Lately, there's been a lot of buzz about unique and unconventional ways to use this odiferous ointment.

You'll be surprised to learn that Vicks is a supposed treatment for so much more than just a congested chest.

1. Decongest Your Chest.

The most common use of Vicks is to decongest your chest and throat area.

When applied to the upper chest, it provides excellent relief of cough and congestion symptoms.

2. On Your Tootsies.

Applying Vicks to your feet provides nighttime cough relief.

Generously rub Vapo Rub all over your feet and cover them with socks.

Within moments your cough will subside—in the morning you'll wake up a new, hacking free woman.

3. Achy Breaky Muscles.

Vicks relieves sore, overworked muscles. It increases circulation and provides almost instant aid.

Use a generous portion and apply it all over the aching area.

(Be sure to warn your bedmate as the stench can ensure a nookie-free night.)

4. Get Rid of Nasty Nail Fungus.

Rub Vapo Rub on your toenails if you suspect you have a fungus. Within days, the nail will turn dark—this means the Vicks is killing the fungus.

As your toenail grows out, the dark part will grow off and you will have fungus-free feet.

Keep applying the ointment over a period of two weeks to fully cleanse nail beds of any remaining bacteria.

5. Stop Your Cat from Scratching. Cats are notorious for scratching every hard surface they get their claws on.

To prevent Miss Kitty from ruining your doors, walls, and windows, apply a small amount of Vapo Rub to these areas.

Cats detest the smell and will steer clear. Vicks can also be applied to your arms and legs if your kitty is prone to scratching you.

6. Pet Pee-Pee Deterrent. If your dog or cat is not yet potty trained,

put an open bottle of Vicks on the area he or she likes to mark as their territory.

The smell will discourage them from lifting their legs and wetting your rug.

7. Headaches Be Gone. Rub a small amount of Vicks Vapo Rub on your temples and forehead to help relieve headaches.

The mentholated scent will release pressure in your head and instantly relieve pain.

8. Humidify Your Sleep. Vicks Vapo Rub can be used in special types of humidifiers and vaporizers.

Ensure your humidifier has an aromatherapy compartment before using.

The humidifier will circulate Vicks throughout the air and keep you breathing easy all night long.

9. Paper Cuts and Splinters. To prevent infection and speed up healing time,

dab a small amount of Vicks on any small cut or splinter.

10. Ticks and Bugs. If you get bitten by a tick, apply Vicks immediately.

The strong odor might help get the critter to release itself and stop bugging you.

11. Reek-free Racehorses. Professional racers smother Vapo Rub under the nostrils of racehorses on race day.

The strong stench deters the stallions from the alluring odor of the female pony and keeps them focused on the race.

12. Go Away Mosquitoes. Vicks wards off mosquitoes. Apply small dabs of Vicks Vapo Rub to your skin and clothes

and mosquitoes will steer clear. If you do get bitten, apply Vicks to the area and cover it with a Band-Aid to relieve itching.

According to WebMD, there have been a few complications in children when Vicks is used inappropriately.

A few children reacted negatively and ended up hospitalized when Vicks was applied directly under the nose.

Though this is extremely rare and only happens to those who are sensitive to Vicks,

consumers should use caution when applying it to the face or on young children.

Driving Tips for MPG - Duration: 4:05.

JOHN DAVIS: Achieving good fuel economy depends on a lot of factors.

Some, like weather, terrain and temperature, are beyond the driver's control.

Vehicle maintenance and driving habits can both have a noticeable impact on fuel economy,

but to really flex your MPG muscles, you've got to get to know your vehicle and how it

performs best.

No one understands this better than Brian West.

As deputy director of the fuels, engines, and emissions research center at oak ridge

national laboratory, Brian knows what works and what doesn't when it comes to getting

every possible MPG.

BRIAN WEST: You'll see for a lot of conventional vehicles, the highway economy is 30, 40, maybe

even 50% better than the city fuel economy.

and that's because... in typical highway driving where the speed is nice and steady, the engine's

at an efficient operating point, you're not braking very much, so you get the best fuel

economy.

JOHN DAVIS: For hybrid and electric vehicles, city and highway numbers can be much closer.

Many operate in EV-only mode at least part of the time, and regenerative braking puts

energy back into the batteries to extend EV range.

But don't overuse the brakes.

BRIAN WEST: When you brake really hard in a hybrid vehicle, the current flow to the

battery is limited based on the temperature of the battery, the state of charge of the

battery, so when you brake really hard, more of that energy is dissipated through the friction

brakes and lost, whereas if you brake gently, more of that energy can be recaptured.

JOHN DAVIS: It's best to brake gently in all cars, and avoid unnecessary stops altogether.

Anticipate stoplights or traffic slowdowns and coast for a bit to maintain momentum,

rather than stay on the gas til the last second.

Using accessories like heating, air conditioning, and entertainment systems will affect fuel

economy on all vehicles, but especially on hybrids and electrics: so pre-heating or pre-cooling

the cabin of a plug-in hybrid or EV while the vehicle is still plugged in, for example,

can extend its electric range.

Many of today's cars have an "economy mode" that may limit aspects of the vehicle's performance

to save fuel.

BRIAN WEST: The accelerator pedal is really just actuating a sensor, and you're really

just making a request or a recommendation of the powertrain control module.

So when you step on the accelerator pedal today, the powertrain control module is deciding

how much power, how much tractive effort to give you, and so in an eco-mode, it's going

to limit that, so that at part-throttle settings, you're just going to get less power, which

is going to help you drive more efficiently.

The eco mode also, in a lot of cars, will limit things like the heated seats, the climate

control, things like that, that are parasitic losses.

JOHN DAVIS: Some fuel economy basics apply to all vehicles:

On average, low tire pressure costs you about 3-tenths of a percent in fuel economy per

psi.

Keep an air gauge handy and check your tires weekly.

Excess weight reduces fuel economy about 1% per hundred pounds on average, so get that

junk out of the trunk!

Ski racks, car toppers and the like add tremendous aerodynamic drag to a vehicle, and can penalize

fuel economy up to 25% on the highway.

And remember, an idling car gets zero miles per gallon, so remember to shut it down when

waiting for even a few minutes.

Driving smoothly, taking full advantage of fuel-saving technologies, and even using a

little common sense can make a big difference in whether your car is a gas hog or a mileage

maximizer!
