Stay tuned and find out why this machine received the award as the best laptop at CES fair in 2017.
Don't miss this.
This is a Premium PC for approximately 1.700$ .
The wrapper hides this a bit. But this is a machine that is supposed to be used for business,
so here we do not need stylish package to be impressed,
but then I'm more excited about what is on the inside of the cardboard.
And here we do not find much plastic.
This is a well built together machine, metal, solid, hinges.
Yes, everything feels and looks like a premium quality product should do.
You can find the power button on the side.
And the Windows 10 setup was fast and without problems.
I can also mention that the machine is relatively free of annoying and unnecessary software,
that often accompanies and slows down a new machine.
This is a machine that is particularly well suited to sales
or other people on the move and that need power in a mobile and litght package.
HP EliteBook X360 weighs only 1,28KG so this is a thin, lightweight and portable machine to carry around.
If you put the machine in tent mode, like this you have a perfect tool to showcase presentations
or do a demo at client meeting.
If you choose the touch screen version, it makes it even easier to move forward to the nest slide in a PowerPoint presentation.
And if you had a successful meeting you might as well see a small video on the train home.
The keyboard is good and comfortable to work on and is relatively similar to what you might find on similar Premium machines,
The keyboard is back-lit and is is also spill-resistant, so it can withstand a little extra.
You get a separate practical function buttons here top of the row of buttons on the keyboard.
Some we know, but HP has added some extra convenient buttons
including buttons to take Skype for Business calls and a convenient button to launch the Outlook calendar,
as you can see here.
You get a great touchpad with glass surface and multitouch
to navigate easily around in Windows and your applications.
The machine is supplied with i5 processor for normal office work or a faster i7 processor,
if you need more gunpowder to drive demanding applications.
Our model is equipped with a fast i7 processor.
x360 also comes with 8GB memory onboard as standard and should be enough for most users,
but you can also get the machine with up to 16GB of memory.
If you want.
We recommend that you start with a 250GB SSD drive, but if you wan't more storage you can select the 360GB SSD disk option.
EliteBook x360 comes well equipped with ports and connections.
In addition to a USB-C port, HP has added 2 x USB 3.0 ports,
so you don't have to use dongles on existing equipment that you have.
You also have support for a Micro SD card that can be practical
when you wan't to transfer pictures or film from a camera.
The machine comes with one HDMI port which is convenient when you want to connect to an external monitor or TV (display), and
there is also a combined headphone and microphone connection here on the other side.
HP EliteBook also comes with everything you need to be online. connected and communicating.
The machine supports 4G, so you can just insert a Micro-SIM card into the port located on the left side here.
You get wireless with support for most modern standards that you need..
In addition, you obviously get Bluetooth, and optional you can also choose to have NFC in the machine.
HP promises 16 hours of battery life, in practical use, this may be somewhat smaller,
but this is certainly a machine that has the best battery performance
and that can last throughout the workday.
EliteBook x360 has a great 13.3 "screen that is a perfect size to carry around,
not too big and not too small.
Our model is equipped with a 1080p gorilla glass screen, which is also available in a touch version.
I personally find that 1080p is enough resolution for this type machine.
4K can be a bit small, but if you want 4K, then you can also get it on this model.
The display is powered by an Intel HD 620 graphics solution.
In audio, HP has chosen to supply the machine with two Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers.
You can control the volume with the volume knob on the sitde
The machine also has two microphones built that are nice for Skype calls.
Combined with a good HD webcam with 720p, you can easily run video conferences on Skype,
with a good sound and good picture.
This also supports Windows Hello which allows you to log on via facial recognition on Windows
The machine can also be obtained with HP Sure View, and this was one of the solutions that made HP wins
award at CES Fair 2017.
Here you can turn on a built-in privacy filter that prevents access to the screen from the side
if you sit on a plane or a train.
This filter allows you to turn on and off as needed via the function key on the keyboard.
When it comes to security, HP has crammed machine full of security features
that takes care of and protects the user.
Here I can mention HP Sure Start ensuring the BIOS from attack. And HP is the only one that has a dual BIOS,
that repairs if the default one is hacked or broken..
In addition to being able to log on via facial recognition, you have a fingerprint sensor on the top
it can also use to log on to Windows if you prefer that.
EliteBook is also extremely durable, it is certified by a military MIL standard
that means it's designed to survive bumps, drops and extreme temperatures.
HP also has developed a lot of accessories and smart solutions for the machine,
which is really worth taking a look at.
Here is everything from docking to practical solutions for multiple screens.
This is a premium quality machine for the business market.
Good build quality with a solid and thoughtful design.
Support for new technology like Windows Hello, packed full with safety features
which is important for companies and saves the user
Long battery life throughout the workday
and one outstanding display makes this a perfect work tool
for those who are mobile and on the go.
It was all we had today. Thank you for watching.
