Law of Attraction and FOCUS the Secret to MASSIVE Success (Meditation for Focus inside) - Duration: 23:52.
this video I'm gonna be sharing with you the truth on focus with the law of
attraction I'm going to show you one of the main ingredients to that of success
how to optimize it and how when you apply this it changes everything
welcome back to another video my name's Aaron and I help uncle expand their
consciousness now in this video I'm gonna be sharing more with you on that
of focus and the law of attraction one of the main ingredients
I believe in success is that of focus and this doesn't necessarily mean that
we have to constantly control our mind and create all of this resistance but
what it does mean is when we have our thoughts going in a certain direction
and because whatever we think about we expand we then experience more and more
characteristics of whatever we are thinking about now if you look to any
successful person that you can find if you look at their life story if you look
at what they did you'll see that almost every single one of them without fail is
somebody that had to focus a lot that gain this ability to focus on what they
were doing because the more they did that the more that became something that
they attracted more and more opportunities in their life they figured
things out more and more that became more of a perfectionist with whatever
they're focusing on and I'm a true believer that the more you focus on what
you love to be doing the more that ends up growing in your life now we've heard
the same before from Steve Jobs from Warren Buffett to do what you love and
the reason this is so important is because how easy is it for you to focus
on what you love to do you know when I get up every morning and I make a video
like I'm doing right now it's very easy for me to focus on and I probably spend
about 8 to 12 hours a day working on what I do because I love what I do and
because I love what I do it's so easy for me to focus on it that it continues
to grow in a very quick way if you look at people that are very good at what
they do a lot of times they spend a lot of time doing
because they're so passionate about it and here's the beautiful thing it
doesn't feel like work when I get up and I make your video right now I am working
when I do a live Q&A on Instagram I'm working but is it really work it's more
so I am doing an aspect of my business and it just so happens that I would
probably do it anyways this is why they say things like do what you love do
something you would do even if you weren't paid to do it and you may say
well I'm not sure what that is right now that's okay let it be okay that if
that's how it is and then start to set the intention that you figure out what
that is because with the intention and the focus on the intention of figure in
doubt you will bring more and more into your life of that now something else I
want to share with you is something that changed my life and it was me becoming
aware of my beliefs with that of focus you see I used to believe that I had
ADHD because I went to a doctor until the doctor's having problems focusing
and the doctor said oh did a little tests like some tests and some said you
have ADHD that's why you can't focus and I said oh good now I know why and they
said here's some adderall adderall's the prescription drug they give the people
with labeled as a DD or ADHD and I took that I'd go to work I worked at
Nordstrom's at the time I go to work I would take the adderall and I would
focus I was you know real focused on what I was doing
make good amount of money because I was so focused and I felt good while I was
doing it however the side effects of adderall are you don't eat very much I
made pretty much lesser I have to tie go but I was trying to gain weight at the
time Plus you don't sleep very well at night I'd have problems sleeping I would
go to I'd go home I take it early in the morning I take it like 10 and 11:00 in
the morning when I go into work like you know earlier and then what happened is I
wouldn't take it again but all the way until about 9:00 10:00 at night I try to
go to bed and it was almost impossible and those were the harsh side effects so
that was actually what led me to doing a little bit more research I said okay I
have this so-called ADHD what are their alternatives for attention naturally
without the side effects you can't eat very much you can't sleep
very much and that's when I came across that of meditation and guess what no
side effects of negative meditation no negative side effects at least I was
like hmm this looks like something I should try
because I'm tired of these harsh side effects and you crash also you take this
adderall and you crash someone's like taking 4 shots of espresso and by the
way I would take 4 shots of espresso when I had this so-called ADHD and what
would happen is I'd get really focused I felt very calm whereas most people
take four shots of espresso and be wired I was very calm when I would take it so
it kind of shows you the kind of effects that I had but nonetheless what I would
do is I'd learn meditation then when I decided that I decided that I was going
to start meditating and I made this choice that I did it for the first day
for about 5 or 10 minutes about 5 minutes and I didn't really feel that
much of a difference the second day I started actually feeling a little bit of
resistance with it because it was shortly after I also knew more about the
law of attraction and I was feeling resistance I was I don't think negative
thoughts though leave their thoughts and I kept doing that and they kept leading
to more and more of it and more resistance but then the third day
something very interesting happened I had this feeling to sit down with this
candle flame and I read somewhere that when the eyes stay on one point that we
end up happiness so that our mind doesn't wander so much so when your eyes
wander your mind wanders so if I'm constantly like thinking and going like
this my eyes are going to different vortexes going do do do do what that
does is that makes it so that it's new stimulation every time I move my eyes
which then brings in more information think of everything as we see as
information and I'm stimulating my brain in different ways over and over and over
again so I read something I said if you stare at a candle flame with your eyes
on one spot that that helps a lot so that's what I did but here is the game
changer I did that and about 2 or 3 minutes in I decided to let go of the
thoughts instead of trying to control them because when I was trying to
control the day for don't take negative thoughts control them in this direction
I was creating resistance so instead what I did is I focused on that flame
and I allowed the thoughts to be there I allowed the thoughts to be there I
observed them as they came through and as they came through I would look at
them and then let them go look at them and let them go and that's
when my whole life began to change I began to feel so differently
I began to feel so much more present to the moment I began to become aware of
the beliefs I had about myself I began to observe my thought processes and
realize that almost everything I was thinking was on autopilot I started to
wake up from a dream of the autopilot mind of social conditioning and I became
aware that I simply had a belief that said I can't focus because I have ADHD
I had this label that got kind of tapered with me that I believed
therefore that was the effect that I got so what I then became aware of is that I
can just let go of it I can let go of the definition that it's hard for me to
focus I can let go of any negative belief that is holding me back and what
that did is that changed my whole life because the thing is is whatever we
believe to be true is reflected back to us if we believe there's a problem with
us if we believe that it's hard to focus if we believe we're just the kind of
person that's lazy or doesn't get things done then that will be the case that
will be a self-fulfilling prophecy but the best part of this whole process is
that we can shift that and that's why I made this video I want you to know that
you are not bound by labels you are not bound by definitions you are not bound
by what people think of you you are who you choose to be in the present moment
and if you think about yourself in a way that is not optimal for your focus start
to think about yourself in a new way what is your self-image because my
self-image was that I was somebody that couldn't focus my self-image was that I
was somebody that had to take because of the belief system I had you had to take
what the doctor gave you and then he had to do that and then there's all bunch of
side effects but hey that's part of you having ADHD but it's nothing more than a
label here's the cool thing I started to meditate I got into that present state
to where I was observing my thoughts to an old candle method to this day or to
show you right now I have a candle on my nightstand that's where I meditate and
it's right eye level I still do the same meditation that was in 2012 it's been a
long time and I do every single day 20 minutes in the
morning and 20 minutes at night but here's the cool thing I started doing
that within a week or two completely got rid of adderall have never taken it
again I do not identify myself as someone with
ADHD I think that I have a lot of energy that's how I reframed it then what I do
is I once a day go to a park and I grind myself in grass park right next to my
house just walk barefoot on grass and it kind of releases excess energy
that's the refrain that I created now here's the thing you can do the same
thing maybe you're like why don't think I've ADHD but maybe you have maybe you
think you have problems focusing but if you think you have a problem focusing
then that just may be the problem in itself is that there's this
self-fulfilling prophecy there's this this implication hey I can't focus
therefore we experience more and more of that feeling more and more of that
experience so what I want to ask you is how do you view yourself do you view
yourself as somebody that is able to focus and if you don't is there may be
some type of definition belief or prior experience that formed it that way
because if for me it was I was told that I was told that from either that of the
doctor some people I remember there was this old co-worker I used to work with
as a manager that I heard talking about me to someone else and she said that
Aaron appeared to be on cocaine and when she said that I was like I've never done
coke in my life and when I when she said that I was like you know it just it was
a big thing I was like whoa what why you know I could whatever manager we talk
about me like that but I realized that it's because I have a lot of energy and
what I did is I didn't internalize what other people thought about me and what I
decided to do is to focus it in the direction of what I prefer have my own
beliefs about the process and as I did that everything began to change and
here's the cool thing people also feel that off of me now I show up much more
present than I used to therefore people feel that off of me
because our self-image is something that's projected out to other people
that people then are bouncing back off of that are then feeling so I was
probably projecting out somebody that just had so much energy and a lot of
people just couldn't relate to it a lot of people couldn't relate to some
that's always I have a lot of energy and I always have a lot of energy so
sometimes people are like oh you know they they don't have much energy so they
look at me and they're like what that's weird you know what I mean there's a
problem there but there's no problem at all it's all in the mind and if you
believe you don't have a lot of energy if you believe that it's hard to focus
be aware of the definitions you have because that may be controlling the kind
of experiences you have and remember with focus in general it's not about
controlling the thoughts it's about observing the thoughts and
directing it in a powerful way it's about direction direction and the
ability to observe because in the observation is where the power is the
power is not in the reactant mind because if we're in the reactive mind
were than the ego and we're trying to control everything from the egos point
of view but if we observe we take ourselves out of the ego and we allow
ourselves to let things be easy we allow things to happen naturally so that's
what I wanted to share with you is that your focus is probably the number one
ingredient when it comes to the law of attraction really working for you so are
you doing something you're passionate about and if you're not that's fine set
the intention to figure that out but understand that it's up to you to define
yourself in to see yourself as someone that's able to focus this is all about
conditioning if it's hard for you to focus there may be some variables in
play one of them may be your phone maybe your phone everyone's always checking
Instagram every five seconds and I'm honestly sometimes I get into the mode -
or I'm checking stuff because I do social media for a living so I post some
stuff on Instagram posts and stuff on YouTube I've checked and stuff I'm
trying to engage as well engage them it's important for me because I want
people to feel like you know I'm they're not this someone posting stuff online so
I'd kind of have to be engaged and I kind of have to be checking it every
every now and then but there's definitely that overload to where I just
keep doing it keep doing it keep doing it here's the thing that I recommend to
you take it as a thing where you regiment yourself to always focusing for
a certain part of your day I recommend 20 minutes in the morning right when you
wake up in 20 mins before you go to bed focus on observing your thoughts so that
right in the morning when your brain wave when your brain is the most
susceptible the most influenceable so what you do is you become aware that
how you can do that how you can observe it rather than react it's the first
thing you do when you wake up in the mornings going to your phone you
immediately go into reaction mode you're reacting to your environment what could
happen check the email check that of Instagram check about Facebook and we
immediately get into that mode so what I would encourage you to do is to know
that focus is conditioned that's all it is this is conditioned it's a habit that
we can create it's our willpower that we can create
that it's much easier than we think it's just about practicing it practice
practice practice doesn't have to be hard just practice for compliments today
when I started meditating I did it for two to five minutes the first day that
was my goal just for a few minutes then after that I upped it a minute each day
and then eventually got up to ten minutes a day and then it became easier
then I got the 15 minutes a day then became easy and I've kept it right about
15 20 minutes because I feel like I can get deep in
that amount of time now but you got to go with what feels right for you but you
see you can tailor this is a muscle this is a muscle but as you begin to build it
gets easier and easier so at first don't beat yourself up if it's a little bit
hard but the more you do it the easier it becomes but focus is where the power
is and when you combine your focus with what you're passionate about everything
in your life will begin to change so what I like to do right now is a quick
little meditation it's not going to be as long as normal this is I like to do
some type of meditation every video that I do so what we're gonna do is we're
gonna relax our body and I'm just gonna have you look at your self image and to
let go of anything that doesn't serve you around understanding focus how you
view yourself is your ability to focus and as we do this this is something it's
just gonna allow you to know that focus is easier than you priorly thought let's
take a deep breath in deep breath out right now
breathe it out feel your body relax more and more now
put your hands over your heart because the electromagnetic energy around your
heart is thousands of times more powerful than that of the head and when
you do this you immediately begin to expand the energy around your body now
let's take another deep breath in deep breath out and if you like you can close
your eyes breathe it out feel your body relax more and more now put the
sensation once again in your heart and imagine that there's a ball of energy in
your heart any colour that you like and imagine that this ball of energy in your
heart space feels like a tingling sensation but you can feel it inside of
your heart - now imagine it's spinning clockwise and imagine that the faster it
spins the more you feel this love in your heart the faster it spins the more
you feel present to the moment and imagine that it's spinning faster and
faster and you can really feel this tingling sensation in your heart now you
can really feel this now I'm going to count down from five to one with every
number I count you're gonna feel more present to the moment you're gonna feel
more love in your heart five feel this energy spin in your heart
four feel it spin faster and faster three feeling it double in love double
relaxation with every number I count two feeling it's been now and one feel it as
it floods through your body allowing you to feel more and more
now I want you to imagine that you are looking into a mirror this mirror has
gold embroidery --nz on it going all the way around and what you are doing is
you're looking at your self-image of how you view yourself around focus notice
what you see how do you currently view yourself around focus and if you're
judging yourself it's okay allow those thoughts to be there how do
you view yourself with focus is it easy for you more challenging
can you remember things
what are three words that would describe your focus and your ability to focus
now that you are aware of whatever those words are allow those words to be there
allow those feelings to be there and I'll make the choice to let them go
realize they serve you up until this time but now you are who you choose to
be now look into the mirror and imagine the best version of yourself doing what
you'd be doing able to focus effortlessly just easy you allow things
to happen it's easy for you to focus because you're passionate about what you
do what would you be doing and how do you look as this version of you
now what are three words that would describe this part of yourself the
self-image determined focused laser-like vision come up with three words that
describe this version of you
now what we are gonna do is I'm gonna count down from ten to one with every
number I count you're gonna feel like you merge with this version of you like
focus is easy like it comes naturally like you don't have to control your
thoughts anymore you can just observe them and you can direct them the way you
prefer remember you are who you choose to be not the result of your past now
other people label us now put your hands up your left hand put it up to that of
the mirror and begin to move towards the mirror with every number I count your
hands going to get closer and closer to the mirror and by the time I reach one
you're gonna feel a search through your body you're gonna feel yourself connect
with this version of you in a very powerful way 10 feel yourself now
becoming more alert 9 fill your hand move closer towards the mirror 8 with
every number I count they're doubling the amount of ability you have to focus
7 feel yourself now starting to feel the energy of this version of you 6 5 4
double the amount of relaxation to your body double the amount of focus 3 2 1
now feel this connection you have go through your left arm and into your body
this ability that you have to focus and how you feel like you have an increased
ability to focus on what you want notice how different this feels notice how now
you can observe your thoughts from a neutral place
notice how empowered you feel
now this is who you are you put your hand down now and know that from this
point going forward you are who you choose to be focus is easy for you
you're gonna notice that you are not your thoughts you may think thoughts but
they are not who you are you are now able to observe your thoughts easier
than ever set the intention that sometime today you get a reflection that
focus is easier than ever for you and that you experience more of what you
want now I'm going to count down from five to one with every number I count
you're gonna feel more alert more present to the moment knowing that today
is an amazing day now you're gonna feel focused laser-like vision easily five
feel yourself become more alert in present four feel this energy start to
search through your body 3 start to wiggle your hands and your toes to 1 you
can open up your eyes now and know that you have shifted and connected to a
self-image that is much more conducive of who you prefer to be focus is as easy
as viewing yourself as somebody that's able to focus and when you get to that
core everything in your life will begin to change now something else I'm gonna
be doing is more live Q&A is on Instagram if you want more interaction

So Much For The Tolerant Left! [ft. Dave Rubin | Response to Prager U] - Duration: 23:40.
"Tolerance.
It's a word we hear a lot these days.
So, let's define it."
Dave Rubin, the human embodiment of the "so much for the tolerant left!" meme did another
video about tolerance for Prager U, and oh boi, it's as terrible as you imagine.
Fortunately, that's my kink.
So please daddy, fill me up with your logic and reason.
"Tolerance is "the ability to live with people whose opinions and behavior you don't
agree with."
That's essentially how Oxford defines it, how Merriam-Webster defines it, and how we,
as a society, have always defined it."
So far, so true!
A little vague though don't you think?
The dictionary definition rarely provides the full picture of a subject.
Take the definition of Feminism for instance, it doesn't tell you much about all the nuances
and viewpoints within the movement or who's actually living up to them.
Usually people like my sweet Sugardave are the first to point out how flawed dictionary
definitions can be, so as the classical liberal I obviously am I'm prone to stay a little
bit skeptical.
Not because this definition is entirely wrong, but because it doesn't take into account where
things can get a little bit messy, especially when showing tolerance for something that's
in direct conflict with tolerance for someone else's existence.
Take the paradox of tolerance for example, as defined by annoying german SJW philosopher
Karl Popper in his book "The Open Society and It's Enemies" which goes as follows: "Unlimited
tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance.
If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared
to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will
be destroyed, and tolerance with them"
Popper did not imply that intolerant philosophies should always be suppressed, but that we should
counter them by rational arguments, call them out on their viewpoints and keep them in check
with public opinion, as long as that's a possibility.
You could even say that Popper was a free-speech advocate in that regard!
However, he also saw danger in the intolerant not being prepared to meet us on the level
of rational arguments but begin to denounce all arguments and that they may even forbid
their followers to listen to rational arguments but instead, teach them to answer with violence
and trouble at which point we should claim the right to suppress them.
All things considered Popper came to the following conclusion: "We should therefore claim, in
the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant.
We should claim that any movement preaching intolerance places itself outside the law,
and we should consider incitement to intolerance and persecution as criminal, in the same way
as we should consider incitement to murder, or to kidnapping, or to the revival of the
slave trade, as criminal."
So, the bottom line of Karl Poppers philosophy is that we should stay cautious about reaching
a point where suppressing the intolerant is our only option, And that every citizen - in
the name of tolerance - has the duty to oppose intolerant viewpoints wherever they occur.
So who is this cultural marxist communist PopperCuck?
Well, my dutiful little marauders of truth reason and logic, he was a giant liberal.
Actually, he was so much of a liberal that the members of the Frankfurt School openly
criticised him over the course of a year long dispute between the critical rationalists
and the Frankfurt School.
You know, the evil Frankfurt School of Critical Theory.
The inventors of frankensteins soy boi and cultural marxism, the monsters threatening
the foundation of western civilisation!
"You might be for the death penalty, and your cousin might be against it.
You might be against a $15 minimum wage, and your coworker might be for it.
Your dad might have voted for Trump, your mom might have voted for Clinton, and your
brother may not have voted at all.
Whatever differences we have, tolerating others' opinions is a prerequisite to a functioning
and free society."
Okay, first of all: Could someone explain me why they would choose a cashier at a fast
food restaurant as an example for someone being against minimum wage?!
It doesn't add up, does it?
Except you have some unusual kink that makes you wanna suffer financially so much, that
you need three jobs to maintain a living!
Unfortunately I haven't heard of such a kink before and believe me, I'm totally down for
a lot of filthy, filthy shit.
Apart from that: What even is your point, Dave?
There is no big movement of tolerant leftists advocating for taking away the rights or inciting
violence against people just because they are for capital punishment, or against minimum
wage or because they voted for a specific party.
HELL!
Searching for it I could find exactly one story that originated on americas probably
most-reliable news source infowars.com written by 'Is soy turning men into pussies" BrainForce
Plus-Salesman Paul Joseph Watson.
Unfortunately for Dave, that story turned out to be wrong and the incident - while happened
- stemmed from a traffic altercation and the victim himself said although he voted for
Trump there is no way the perpetrators could have known that.
Shitty that happened?
ABSOLUTELY!
But it's hardly evidence for a mass phenomenon or even an intolerant left or
consensus within leftists circles.
So, DaveyBoy.
Could it be that you try to blur the lines between tolerance and freedom of consequences?
Could it be that you don't advocate for someone being tolerated but for someone's views and
opinions being left completely unchallenged, like you do on your show?
You don't have to give me an answer, because further into the video you'll prove yourself
that the assumption I make here is actually correct.
"America itself was built on a foundation of tolerance.
The Declaration of Independence guarantees us life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
But there's an implicit contract there: To have your life, your liberty, and your
pursuit of happiness, you have to be tolerant of somebody else's life, their liberty,
and their pursuit of happiness."
There you said it yourself: Tolerance is not a gift, but something you have to earn by
the most basic act of showing tolerance yourself and not.. you known incite violence or taking
away the rights someone needs to pursue their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
In other words: The intolerant cannot be tolerated if you wanna maintain a tolerant society.
Because in the very moment you give them a pass to act on their intolerance, they become
a threat to those a tolerant society promised to protect.
Please keep DaveyBoy's words in mind, because they'll become more and more important from
this point going forward.
"This contract, though, seems to be breaking down.
If you listen to the mainstream media, only one side is living up to this deal: the left.
The right, according to the media, is intolerant of everyone...except those darned white, heterosexual,
Christian males.
There's only one problem.
It's just not true."
Are you suggesting that mainstream media has a leftist bias?
That's kinda hilarious considering that most leftist media outlets are self-funded underdogs.
And even if we would consider liberal media outlets to be leftist, they still get outperformed
by conservative media companies all the time.
For fucks sake, fucking Fox News has been the most-watched TV news network in the US
for 197 months straight and counting.
The same fuckin' Fox News where my sweet SugarDave repeatedly gladly appeared as a guest on.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp who runs Fox News, also owns The Wall Street Journal, New York
Post, The Sun, The Times, Sky News, countless subsidies of the Fox Broadcasting Company
and a hell lot more.
thats not to say that mainstream media has a right wing bias either, the only bias
a media company has is getting more viewers.
Media companies under capitalism sorely aim for getting more viewers.
Therefore it's no surprise that reactionary content outperforms everything else, 'cause
nothing gains more viewers than scandals, drama and fear-mongering.
People like Dave Rubin like to think of themselves as lonely renegades fighting against the establishment,
not realising they already became part of the establishment long ago.
"Incredibly, the left isn't even tolerant of the very people they say they're tolerant
of!
If you're gay, or black, or an immigrant, and you're not in lockstep with current
leftist orthodoxy, you know exactly what I'm talking about."
Dave!
I can't believe your cheap attempt to guilt trip me with your identity politics!
Be ashamed of yourself, how could my pure heart fall for an SJW
like you!
You know true Classical Liberals like me, take this as the sign that while the left stands
up for their right not to be discriminated against on the grounds of identity, they don't
let those people go completely uncriticised and unchecked on their beliefs.
Isn't that what you originally wanted?
Or do you only want it for people you disagree with?
Also..
Did anyone else notice how Daveyboy is trying to make the whole political left as one big
hivemind that all share the same ideas and values?
Yet, we have constant fights between Anarchists and Communists, Social Liberals and Democratic
Socialists, TERFs and Queerfeminists, Violent Protesters and Peaceful Protesters.
GOD DAMMIT!
The Left disagrees on almost everything and that's what makes it so hard to unite the
whole movement.
The myth of some unified leftist dogma doesn't hold up and is really just delusional.
"If you believe we should judge people on the content of their character and not the
color of their skin, the left calls you "racist."
If you believe that America is a nation of immigrants, but that our country should also
protect its borders, the left calls you a "xenophobe."
If you believe that men and women are equal but fundamentally different, the left calls
you "sexist.""
I don't think blunt name-calling without any substantial arguments is productive either
and we can surely have a debate about that.
But maybe..
Your argument would be a lot stronger if you wouldn't resort into pointless name-calling
yourself all the god damn time.
I mean.. sure!
Who doesn't remember the infamous Adorno quote in Dialectics of Enlightenment where he said:
"You should only call your kids by they/them pronouns to prepare them for their fight against
those darned white, heterosexual, Christian males and there oh so precious western civilisation."
I read it every day before I go to bed and maybe..
I cry a little, because it's so affecting.
Oh, also you have kind of a double standard there, don't you?
Maybe if you wanna frame the left as intolerant name-callers based on unsubstantial examples,
make sure you don't call them out on judging people by their character rather than their
identity right before that.
Could may make you seem a little foolish.
"Here's the thing: those who only tolerate people they agree with or like…aren't
actually tolerant."
Good Point!
And that's why I oppose the views of a conservative disabled trans Women of Colour with the same
arguments and methods I'd use against any other conservative, without their identity
being a point of debate.
Their being doesn't nullify their views and actions, nor does it grant them a pass to
stay completely unchallenged.
Self-proclaimed leftists who suddenly start acting racist, sexist, homo- or transphobic
towards people they disagree with definitely do exist, but usually they get hella lot of
backlash from others leftists.
Something that I don't see really often in conservative or far-right bubbles.
But I don't think that's what my sweet SugarDave is going for.
In this video Dave is arguing from an anti-free speech perspective.
He doesn't want conservatives and the far-right to be subjected to opposing views and opinions - or in
other words: he demands the whole world to be a safe space for conservatives - something
that he frequently presents on his own show up to the point where even his own fans make
fun of him.
Why is it
always the right that's complaining so much about a little backlash, thinking it's unfair
to disagree with them on anything?
You really come across like entitled crybabies.
Apart from severe cases of harassment and some strawmans, I rarely see leftists complain
that the right doesn't agree with them, we literally expect them to not agree with us.
If you take part in political discussions, people will always express their disagreements.
That's how free speech works.
"So, who is tolerant?
Is it the organizers of the Women's March, who had to apologize for the "hurt and confusion"
they caused when they invited a man—leftist icon Bernie Sanders—to speak at their convention?
Is it the Antifa thugs, who caused UC Berkeley to spend $600,000 on security when mainstream
conservative Ben Shapiro showed up to give a talk?
Or is it democratic congresswoman Maxine Waters, who scolded Kanye West for "talking out
of turn" when he dared suggest that blacks should think for themselves?"
Damn, Dave!
You really hate free speech, don't you?
Even the most minor disagreements sound like the demise of an open and tolerant
society to you.
You're worse than those so-called "antifa thugs".
So let's take a look into these cases.
The Women's Convention that Sanders was set to speak at united women from pretty moderate
liberals all the way to the far-left.
Those women, of course, have some disagreements.
Some believe it sends confusing signals if a man opens up the first womens convention
in 40 years meant to elevate women of color.
Others were annoyed that he endorsed an anti-abortion candidate in Omaha and others blamed him for
Clintons defeat in the 2016 presidential election.
Whether you agree with them or not, they seem like reasonable concerns a womens convention
should at least listen to and take care of in some way.
Those antifa thugs who appeared when Ben Shapiro spoke at UC Berkeley?
They don't even exist.
It's true that they spend an estimated $600,000 dollars on security, but according to Margo
Bennett of the UC Berkeley police: "For the most part it was an orderly event, attended
by respectful, orderly people.
The crowd in the street was loud, but not violent."
Why do you hate free-speech so much, Dave?
You're even denouncing peaceful protesters who use one of their most fundamental rights
to express their opinion?
You've got some really authoritarian tendencies there, it's disgusting.
Back to the topic: Maxime Waters scolded Kanye West for suggesting Black People should think
for themselves?
How horrible!
Unless..
That's not the real context.
All Waters was saying is: "We don't think that he actually means to do harm, but we're
not sure he really understands the impact of what he's saying, at the time that he's
saying it and how that weighs on, particularly the African American community - and for young
people in general, and I think maybe he should think twice about politics and maybe not have
so much to say."
That's hardly scolding, but mild criticism while still admiring his influence.
Waters also said: "Kanye West is a very creative young man who has presented some of the most
revolutionary material in the African-American community, but we also think that sometimes
Kanye West talks out of turn and perhaps sometimes he needs some assistance in helping him to
formulate some of his thoughts."
Of course conservative media picked on that "talks out of turn" line because it's perfect
to cause a scandal, but in context she's yet again admiring his influence, while performing
mild criticism and suggesting that he sometimes has problems to express his thoughts in a
clear way.
There you've got it!
Three examples of people using their most fundamental rights to express their opinions.
That somehow upset Dave because apparently it was the wrong people using their free speech
and he's a little crybaby who can't stand opposing points.
"These aren't isolated examples.
I'm guessing that you—person watching this right now—have silenced yourself because
you don't want to suffer the wrath of the outrage mob."
I criticise things on the left and within my own community a lot more recently.
I received some respectful disagreements and debates, but the only people really getting
hugely upset and angry about me used to be reactionaries and "classical liberals", but
I already expected that so I won't complain.
But still, I understand that there are some people who wanna engage in a respectful debate
and understand other people's perspective and that there are people who always react
in anger and bad faith, no matter how hard you try.
But that's hardly a problem on the left, but in political debates of any kind.
You might receive it more from the left, while I receive it more from conservatives and the
far-right.
"So, let me ask the question again: Who is tolerant?
Well, here's the surprise: It's actually those "scary" right-wingers that the media
and the universities demonize every day."
You're so full of shit, Dave.
Even if you just experience the slightest bit of disagreement, you chuck yourself on
the floor like a toddler crying about how these evil leftists hurt your precious broflake
feelings.
You're the conservative equivalent to one of those "cringy, angry SJW" people like you
like to nutpick so much.
Who's tolerant, you wanna know?
Probably the people fighting for liberty and freedom for all, even if that
becomes an uncomfortable position to hold.
Being a spineless coward who caters for the feelings of reactionaries not to be hurt doesn't
take as much courage from you.
"The left, sadly, has become utterly intolerant of anyone with whom they disagree.
Why?
Because they believe that they know how you should live and how you should think.
Any deviation, any non-conformity, is dangerous to that goal."
You do realize that the left isn't saying conform or die.
That's actually the far-right.
The left is all about accepting and embracing deviation from the norm.
The left is pretty much united in the belief that the only limit to your own freedom of
expression should be the point at which you would inflict other peoples freedom.
- Expect Tankies.
They might disagree.
But no one likes Tankies anyway.
"Believe it or not, the right, these days, actually welcomes diversity of thought.
I can tell you that in the last few years of my political evolution, I've consistently
found conservatives to be tolerant and open-minded."
Why do you think they're so nice to you, Dave?
You're constantly soft-balling them while you never ask any critical questions, you
set them up with strawman questions and you constantly sit there affirming them in agreement.
You're a useful idiot to them who sets them up with a huge audience.
And you don't just platform mildly conservative voices.
You also hosted Alt-Right figures like Paul Joseph Watson, Stefan Molyneux, Mike Cernovich
and Milo Yiannopoulos who you - ironically - described as a new political center.
If that's centrist, I don't wanna know what the new right looks like.
Completely out of context, here's alt-right posterboy Richard Spencers stance on free
speech.
Also while you state that you hate Identity Politics, you're fast to uncritically platform
members of the Identitarian Movement like Lauren Southern and Tommy Robinson.
So far-right identity politics are okay with you, I guess?
Don't get me wrong!
I definitely do think the left need to be a lot more open for liberals and also engage
with moderate conservatives.
It doesn't hurt to hear a few more perspectives, get the full picture and see
if my views hold up to it.
But I draw a clear line when it comes to fascists.
Fascists don't look for debate.
They look for publicity.
They are well aware that a call for genocide wouldn't be well-received in todays society,
so they will use your platform to spread their codewords and conspiracy theories in order
to shift the political climate until their ideas become more acceptable.
Someone who's not trained in decoding fascists, will most certainly always fail in opposing them.
- And that, kids: Is why we never debate with fascists.
The Koch Brothers and I assume - at least a fair percentage - of your patreon supporters
don't pay you because you're a good journalist.
You're awful at your job.
The only reason they hold you is because you're useful for their agenda.
On another note: #FundLeftistCreators - Those Soros checks always come in way too late!
"Don't take my word for it, though.
Test it out for yourself.
Go talk to some.
They do exist, and they do things like watch movies, travel, and eat ethnic food—you
know, regular people things."
You don't trust conservatives pretty much when the only way for you to make them seem
more human is a cheap appeal to emotion, hm?
C'mon!
They might be full of shit, but even they can present themselves a lot better than this.
"The right, much more than the left, believes in the notion of "live and let live."
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the true definition of tolerance."
I'm Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report for Prager University
That's only true if you're a spineless coward who's unwilling to defend a tolerant and open
society against it's enemies.
I don't like everything Karl Popper stood for as well - he had this typical notion of
liberal positivism - but I can respect him because at least he stood up for something.
You on other hand let yourself drown in political apathy only caring about who's bringing in
the most dollars.
There's nothing liberal or tolerant about you, you're just a reactionary conservative
in disguise.

Fox News Tried To Attack Medicare For All, Instead Showed How Much People Love It - Duration: 3:56.
Right-wingers are doing absolutely everything possible to try to discredit the growing push
for a Medicare for all type healthcare system here in the United States.
We all know that earlier this week the Koch brothers, a group that they fund, put out
a study that showed that, wow, this thing was going to have a 32.6 trillion dollar price
tag over the next 10 years.
And the same study admitted that that's actually two trillion dollars less than what we already
pay now as a country.
So, their own study showed that this would save us money.
So, knowing that and everybody jumped on that, the Koch brothers looked ridiculous.
Bernie Sanders actually thanked them for putting it out and showing that it saved us money.
Fox News tried to get people back on the side of Medicare for all is evil, so they put out
a poll on Twitter, in which they got more than 32,000 people to respond.
Here is what the question says, "Bernie Sanders' Medicare for all bill, estimated to cost 32.6
trillion, new study says.
Would the benefits outweigh the costs?"
73% of the more than 32,000 people who responded to this said yes, the benefits outweigh the
costs.
So Fox News, trying to discredit this and put out that already discredited information,
got 73%, nearly three quarters of their respondents to say, "Yeah, that's actually worth it, we
would be willing to do that."
So even Fox News can't help but make the case that Medicare for all is not only what the
people want, but they don't even care about the price tag, when you don't include the
fact that it's actually going to save us money and be cheaper in the long run.
They just want it.
This is a program that they support regardless of the cost, and at this point again, we know
that we will end up saving money.
Republicans and Democrats actually support this kind of plan.
And this isn't to say that everybody's going to have federally mandated government health
insurance.
Medicare is an optional program if you want to do it.
The only people who could suffer under such a plan would be insurance company executives,
and of course Big Pharma executives, because part of the thing with this would be that
drug companies would have to lower their prices here in the United States.
If you wanted to have a private plan with Blue Cross or Aetna or Cigna or whoever, you
could still go and buy that plan.
No problem with that.
But, if you wanted the cheaper option, the federal government option, the Medicare for
all, you could also do that.
This is all about expanding choice in this country, the exact opposite of communism or
socialism, like Republicans are trying to scare us with, and most people know that on
both sides of the aisle.
Progressive policies like a Medicare for all type plan are hugely popular when you do not
associate them with any political party.
They're popular among Republicans, they're popular among Democrats, and that's what's
happened with Medicare for all.
Since the Democrats refused to jump on it when Bernie was pushing it, it has become
disassociated from the Democratic Party, and now it's just a plan that most people want
regardless of party affiliation.
It's going to save us money and, so far, every single time that these Republican pundits,
networks, and think tanks have tried to debunk it and tell us how horrible it is, they have
ended up telling us that this is almost at this point, inevitable for this country because
it's what the people want.

Zimbabwe opposition condemns army opening fire 'for no apparent reason'
Zimbabwe opposition condemns army opening fire 'for no apparent reason'.
The Zimbabwean MDC opposition party on Wednesday condemned the army for opening fire on protesters who were demonstrating against alleged fraud in the country's election, after three people were killed.
"We saw the deployment of military tanks and the firing of live ammunition for no apparent reason.
We condemn in the strongest sense the action taken today," MDC spokesman Nkululeko Sibanda told reporters.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the army had to intervene to help disperse MDC Alliance supporters because it did not have the capacity to deal with the crowd.
The police deployed 71‚000 officers countrywide ahead of the high stakes elections held on Monday.
Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba‚ appearing on state broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) during the 6 PM bulletin‚ said they didn't have enough resources‚ including their reserve force‚ to deal with a situation of this magnitude.
"We requested for the assistance of Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) for the suppressing of the commotion and disturbances in Harare central business district.
This development has been necessitated by the fact that the degree of disturbances of law and order have reached a magnitude where our regular police officers as well as our reserve members have been unable to cope‚" she said.
