How Pilots Are Training For The Biggest Drone Racing Championship - Duration: 11:54.

welcome to MultiGP News we all heard the

saying practice makes perfect and this

Florida pilot couldn't agree more

find out why he believes his extreme

practice routine will earn him the

MultiGP Championship this year I'm

moving up to the big leagues day 64 of

consecutive training plus Colby "SFPV" Curtola

and Hobbywing's Charlie offer

their insight and race analysis on the

latest regional qualifier for the

north-central region

well backwards through that gate this

final run of the day also several hot

events on the horizon from wildcards to

exciting team races in Korea plus we're

giving away prizes to three lucky

subscribers who are watching right now

all this motd dnews so many guys might

not know me clip mode fpv for two years

i left the streets and been in fpv saved

my life

I'm tired of getting beat Southeast

Regional final at 18th place hook looks

like last place so I've been racing

every day since before then and after

that one day 65 now I put DVR out every

day every track get at me

I'm the perfect example of the

grassroots I go and I erase every day

Monday through Friday behind a baseball

field and set up the track with pool

noodles and PVC and then I'll go race on

the weekend if there's one that's not

I'll build another track myself I've

been going for 65 days Street the plan

is to go over nine deep until Nationals

that's a lot of flying yo what's up bud

loves everything dude I got called up to

the big leagues I want to I want to

thank you for all your helping your

input on this 65 day training journey

that I put in I'm gonna you're gonna see

yourself on the news tomorrow man my

overqualified for this but hey you know

me if you don't love yourself and

believe in yourself how do you expect

anybody else to

if you have a story you'd like to see

featured on multigp news send us an

email at News at multigp calm the 2018

multigp regional series presented by the

Academy of model aeronautics continues

as two regional qualifiers closed out in

the north central region for one 5f

Peavey's Colby s fpv Portola and her

good friend charlie from hobby wing

offers insight and race analysis from

this past weekend's regional qualifier

ladies and gentlemen welcome to the

multigp Colby and Charlie show we're

gonna do a little bit of break down on

some race analysis watch some DVR and

talk about some hot laps here Colby what

do you have in store first this

afternoon yeah we're gonna start off

with K Mead he is our TQ from the north

central region throwing down 21 laps and

just look at the list here

north central representing two multi GP

definitely the fastest region I think

overall based on the 21 laps that we see

here six I guess of 21 so good work

there for that us at North Central

region you guys picking it up straight

late in town K Mead theory

Johnny fly mondo the Don and aka numbers

all checking in from their region with

21 laps that's pretty solid

yeah something unique I watch a lot of

races and Kobe flies a lot of racists or

gonna talk about the differences and

some of that stuff and I could you get

all right jumping onboard with K Mead

here and his Tiki run which was I want

to say was round number four for a yeah

super preload look at that you can see

horizon in the middle of the screen

that's a good shot pot launch leans in

off that launch and just hammers on the

chicanes nicely done as he worked

through center section clean and easy on

the roll over s turn central laser beams

to the far side of the course and then

whips back and forth here

Colby you've run this course what's your

favorite part my favorite part is

probably this little section right here

this is where you kind of make or break

your run in this

carousels with us and another split us

they're keeping that tight is really

gonna shave off those actually a couple

seconds to get you that seven run

territory these are some hot laps here

he's not wasting a whole lot of effort

you see the copter and I'm moving

sideways at all on the screen staying

right on the tight lines and all of his

up-and-down maneuvers no wasted energy

they're staying very very closer to the

obstacles if you will

yeah I notice on that last gate I saw

pilots either doing the split us

maneuver or the kind of through the back

door we call it coming around the left

and shooting right through it that was a

nice tight right there a nice tight

carousel split us there this gain right

here is what I was talking about there

he goes goes a little higher there it's

like someone passed him look at my sure

that was leader chase camp for a minute

yeah maybe a leader chase cam so yeah

you guys know what leader case cam is

race leader comes up start lapping

people we call it leader chase camp

because do you not want to be nice and

clean here through the far side using

the dots as a point of reference

I like track with Dungey personally and

all I'm right there hanging on the

sticks I could I feel like I can hear

this dicks clacking from here yeah every

lap is getting better and better this is

you know it's a long time on the track 2

minutes 20 seconds that's a lot of time

to keep your focus it was really hard

for me on this track there's a lot of

turns a lot of zigging and zagging so he

is he's turning up right now look at

that okay this is one break the whole

woman right there

his eyes probably slipping off the radio

at that point not any time to collect

your thoughts or catch your breath so to

speak a lot of action on the regional

qualifier who's that air brake man he

was full throttle next we're gonna take

a look at Johnny fly or as his friends

known John Chapman gonna take notice

guys next as we look at his second-place

finishing run so he he laid down a seven

lap in 211 it was actually on his last

and final run looking at these times he

was definitely consistent throughout the

whole event seven laps to 18 to 17 to 15

getting better and better and better all

the way up until I got a seven and to 11

on the last and final round the day and

he took second place to K Mead you had

three seven lap runs in the books

Morris is fourth what would be the

fourth one so kind of pressure was off

he knew he had a 21 lap run so he could

really let loose and go for it and it's

final round so I'm looking forward to

this one it's ought to be good on board

now with Johnny fly and 26 volts as he

reloads and launches the chicane well

switch back action looks very smooth and

as we said this was his fourth 21 lap

attempt of the day he knew he had three

solid runs in so just kind of let loose

right now and earned him should he what

did he shave almost a solid six seconds

off his previous best run so that's

camera settings though smooth and easy

here but could be a little more clear

working through the topside out of the

back end of the course right there

Pasadena yeah that was probably the same

spot we saw before now because this was

his fifth run that was k-means fourth oh

he took that gate aggressively he kind

of shook him a little bit he kind of

bobbled that a carrousel there and he's

back on line now man I I need to watch

me more of the single cam footages like

this this really gives you a great idea

how fast these guys really are I mean

this is I sly myself and I don't think

I'm a slouch but man this is ripping

so he's going kind of a little combo you

know what happened there sidestep comp

oh yeah

working through the hurdle section down

on the bottom right-hander on the

corkscrew area this track you are never

level the whole track is just here -

you're turning left or right

you're always banks but this whole

section here at your bank the whole time

you've got a little breather there on

those the right-hander building up to

the hurdle corkscrew it's pretty pepper

this is kind of a breather right here

you kind of just like hold I'm the bank

sticks almost wrapping it up here one

more time slower than K meat on this

section here yeah it's almost like you

can see where he's losing it I think

he's he might be quicker through the

switchbacks but yeah smooth flowy

section he kind of backs her down a

notch celebration there for the seven

lapper busloads all these guys and see

What the Teddy Bridgewater trade means for the Saints - Duration: 3:22.

hello everyone Jeff Duncan weighing in

today on the big trade between the New

Orleans Saints in the New York Jets for

backup quarterback or potentially

starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater

what does this trade mean for the Saints

and why did they make it today let me

try and answer those questions for you

as best I can without having talked to

some of the parties involved with the

New Orleans Saints I can tell you this

the Saints remain very high on Taysom

Hill he is a guy that they are enamored

with his athletic ability and his

long-term potential so this does not

reflect in any way I think on their

opinion of Taysom Hill I think

he's still very much a part of their

picture long term to potentially be the

starting quarterback I think this trade

more than likely is about 2018 they

didn't feel comfortable with either Tom

Savage or Taysom Hill as the backup

quarterback right now and so they made a

deal for a guy that by all accounts has

had an incredible training camp and

preseason with the New York Jets was

very wanted around the NFL is a

proven starter in case something goes

down with Drew Brees as far as injury is

concerned they now have an insurance

policy a guy that can come in and is

proven can win games at the NFL level I

don't think they felt that way about

Taysom Hill or Tom Savage right now so I

think this deal is really about 2018 and

beyond that is all lagniappe can they get

Teddy Bridgewater re-signed do they want

to re-sign Teddy Bridgewater long term

those questions will be answered as the

season plays on does Teddy Bridgewater

even want to sign here if he's gonna be

a backup again and no guarantee of being

a starter especially if some other teams

come and offer him starter money all

those questions remain unanswered I

think this deal is about 2018 he's got a

five million dollar cap figure that's a

pretty steep investment for a backup

quarterback and they also made a third

round draft pick available to the Jets

that's a steep investment so clearly the

Saints all in this year to try and win

it all they're going for it this year

and by having insurance for Drew Brees

in Teddy Bridgewater a proven commodity

it certainly gives them a better shot of

making a deep playoff run in case

something were to happen

Drew Brees and I think there is

something to be said for that the fact

that Drew Brees is only missed one game

in his 12-year career because of injury

with the Saints I think this deal for

Bridgewater indicates the Saints aren't

as confident at age 39 that Drew Brees

can hold up over a 16-game season and

certainly they now have insurance in

case that does happen for this team long

term and I think now they've got

probably the best quarterback room

they've had in the entire Sean Payton

Drew Brees era when you have Drew Brees

an elite quarterback starting Teddy

Bridgewater a proven winning

experienced quarterback behind him and

in Taysom Hill a long term developmental

prospect with unlimited athletic

potential that's three really good

quarterbacks to have certainly better

than anything we've seen here with the

Saints for a long time and then you also

of course still have JT Barrett who could

be a practice squad candidate as well

all right that's my thoughts on this big

trade we'll know more as the day's

progress here and we'll get a chance to

talk to Sean Payton and the rest of the

Saints decision makers about this big

deal today for Teddy Bridgewater

Wearing options for the Nucleus® 7 Sound Processor - Duration: 2:10.

To help you wear your Cochlear™ Nucleus® 7 Sound Processor

securely and safely

a range of optional retention accessories are available.

The Cochlear Tamper Resistant Earhook

is an accessory for young children.

It secures the earhook to the sound processor

to reduce the risk of it becoming loose

or detached.

For extra peace of mind, the Cochlear Hugfit™

holds a child's sound processor in place

more securely than an earhook alone.

When playing sport or exercising

the Cochlear Snugfit can be used to help hold your processor in place.

To fit one of these retention options

to the Nucleus 7 Sound Processor,

first remove the earhook and battery module.

Clip the earhook end first,

followed by the metal hook at the battery end.

Then simply reattach the battery module

as you normally would,

making sure the metal hook lays flat

to allow the battery to clip on.

Children may also benefit from using one of Cochlear's

loss prevention accessories.

The Cochlear Koala Clip

allows the Nucleus 7 Sound Processor

to be attached to a child's clothing

until they can wear their processor on their ear.

Another useful loss prevention option

is the Cochlear Safety Cord.

This clips to clothing,

meaning that wearers are less likely to lose their sound processor.

Choosing the right font for your Canva design - Duration: 1:17.

We have hundreds of fonts for you to choose from.

Or, you can use one of our font combinations.

These can help you choose a balanced combination of fonts.

Simply drag and drop to add one to your design.

We recommend that you use only one or two fonts as too many can look messy.

Serifs are the lines attached to the end of letters in some typefaces.

A font with serifs is perfect for a more formal context like a business document.

A font without serifs or sans serif, looks more modern or playful.

You can also change the text color, size, emphasis, alignment, spacing, and transparency.

To remove text, you can click the Trash button.

Or, simply select the text and press the Delete button on your keyboard.

Experiment to find what looks best in your design, and if in doubt keep it simple.

Training for a machining career in high school - Duration: 2:07.

(LEN) A LOT OF TIMES IF I HAVE SOME 10TH GRADERS OR SOME 8TH GRADERS COME INTO THE CLASS AND

I SAY DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN A MACHINE SHOP?

AND THEY SAY "YOU RUN MACHINES."

AND THAT IS TRUE BUT THEY'RE LARGE MACHINES THAT CUT METAL.

A LOT OF STUDENTS HAVE NO IDEA THAT MACHINING IS REALLY IN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES FROM THE CLOTHES

WE WEAR, TO THE GLASSES WE WEAR, TO THE VEHICLES WE RIDE IN.

I ALWAYS SAY WHAT'S YOUR INTEREST TO A STUDENT.

AND IF IT'S RACING, OR IF IT'S DRAWING, OR IF IT'S WANTED TO BE AN ASTRONAUT OR

SOMETHING LIKE THAT, THEY CAN DO ALL OF THOSE THINGS THROUGH MACHINING BECAUSE MACHINING

IS REALLY IN ALL ASPECTS OF OUR LIFE.

THE OTHER THING I WOULD WANT THEM TO GET OUT OF IT IS TO FIND OUT IF THAT'S WHAT THEY

ENJOY.

SO I DO HAVE STUDENTS WHO TAKE MY CLASS AND THEY DO COMPLETE THE CLASS BUT THEY END UP

NOT WORKING IN MANUFACTURING CAUSE THEY REALIZE IT ISN'T FOR THEM.

AND THAT'S A BIG ONE BECAUSE YOU HEAR A LOT ABOUT COLLEGE STUDENTS TAKING COLLEGE

CLASSES, GETTING A DEGREE AND THEY'RE NOT WORKING IN THEIR DEGREE BUT IT COST THEM A

LOT OF MONEY.

(ALANNA) I WANTED JUST TO START OFF AND LEARN ABOUT MACHINING.

I LIKE TO WORK IN THE WOOD SHOP AND I LIKE TO LOOK AT BLUE PRINTS AND READ THEM AND FIGURE

OUT HOW TO BUILD THINGS, SO THAT WAS WHERE I GOT MY INTEREST.

AND I WANTED TO GO TO METAL AND SEE WHERE I COULD TAKE IT.

AT FIRST IT WAS A HOBBY AND THEN I REALIZED THERE WAS A LOT OF JOBS YOU CAN DO WITH MACHINING.

I WANTED TO DO SOMETHING MORE THAN JUST A TEXT BOOK.

SOMETHING WITH A TRADE THAT I COULD ACTUALLY DO OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL.

THERE'S A LOT OF DIFFERENT PLACES YOU CAN TAKE IT, YOU CAN GO TO COMPETITIONS, YOU CAN

DO STUFF OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL, YOU HAVE A CO-OP.

I'VE WORKED WITH MY CO-OP FOR A WHILE NOW AND IT'S A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

INSTEAD OF COMING TO SCHOOL YOU GO TO A JOB INTERVIEW AND THEY ACCEPT YOU IN AND THEN

YOU WORK DURING YOUR CLASS HOURS SO IT'S LIKE REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE AS TO WHAT YOUR

FIELD ACTUALLY IS IN THE REAL WORLD.

I'VE DONE A LOT OF THINGS HERE THAT I DIDN'T THINK I'D GET THE CHANCE TO DO.
