Advice No. 1 for more efficient Calisthenics workouts - Duration: 8:09.Welcome to this new video. Today I want to share an important tip with you that could make you training more efficient.
I think this may help a lot of you regardless of your goals or your level.
I'll call this advice "catching two flies with one slap" and I want to show you how you can get closer to two different goals with just one exercise in training.
It will cost you no time at all to follow this advice and you'll be able to reach your goals more efficiently.
Let's just get straight into it:
A lot of people seperate in skills, so exercises or moves you want to be able to do, and basics, so exercises that are necesarry for that or because of something else.
I think it's not bad but good to seperate in these two categorys but I can see one problem that might come along with that:
People forget that these categorys influence each other a lot. I will now give you an example:
A person says "I just started to do basics, later I will maybe also go for harder skills or moves and want to learn new stuff, like let's say a hefesto.
"Once I get better I want to start training for that".
So right now this person does mostly basics and is doing let's say ringcurls as an isolation exercise for the biceps in the workouts.
But now you have to start thinking about more than just doing a isolation exercise for the biceps (just an example):
You shouldn't only think about if an exercise is good or bad but also about if there could possibly be a better one.
So if it's my goal to get the hefesto one day I could just do hefesto rows (shown) in the rings instead of the curls.
In that way you'll catch two flies with one slap because you are doing a biceps isolation exercise, just like you wanted, but you'll also prepare for the hefesto.
Let's take a look on another example: Let's say I want to learn a Frontlever but right now I am focusing on basics and I also want to do core exercises there.
There are many different ab exercises I could do but if I remember that I want to be able to hold a Frontlever one day I could already do an exercise that prepares my core.
Therefore Dragon Flags would be a good option that i could do instead of a different harder ab exercise.
I'll now catch two flies with one slap since I will get a stronger core anyways but i'll also be prepared for the Frontlever.
So I can often change exercises in my workouts by doing exercises that will help me to get better in a different field as well, even though it might not be the only reason I am doing it for.
Just like you'll have a double profit from doinf Dragon Flags: Getting a stronger core and preparing for the Frontlever.
It's the exact same thing if I want to combine weight training with calisthenics:
Let's say I do benchpress and shoulderpress for building muscles in these areas:
That's nothing bad or harmful because those are good exercises. But if you would also like to get better at Calisthenics moves you could replace these exercises.
There are plenty of calisthenics exercises that you can also build muscles with but that will also prepare you for harder moves if it's you goal to learn them.
So again you'll be able to get closer to two different goals: getting better at calisthenics and building muscles and general strength as well.
I think you already understand what I mean: it's very often possible to do exercises that will get you closer to two different goals at the same time.
Here is another different example of my own training: I was searching for exercises to improve my core flexibilty because I am often too tight in that area.
Since I didn't want to do special flexibility or mobility exercises I decided to just train hollowback handstand, so bend over handstand, since that does the job as well.
So I was improving my flexibility while also learning a new cool move.
So don't think too seperated "those are basics and those are skills" but think about how all exercises can influence each other.
You can always follow the following rule for doing that on your own as well:
Think about what happens during a certainn exercise and then think about what other exercises have a similar movement pattern as well.
If the pattern is similar you will also have a transfer from one exercise on the strength you'll have at the other exercise.
Let's take a look on the examle of the frontlever again: The abs are under high tension and extended there.
So core exercises where that is the case too will have a better transfer on the frontlever. Therefore Dragon Flags are better than most other exercises like legraises.
So I can always apply that rule and think about what my goals are and what kind of exercises I want to do anyways and then you'll see how that fits together.
So always keep that in mind and try to search for exercises that might be useful for that and don't think in boxes too much.
What's also important is that the intensity levels of two exercises should come close to each other for a good transfer.
So the frontlever is a maximum strength exercise if you want to learn it and therefore exercises that are quite hard for you are a good option as well.
It would not have a big transfer to do exercises of which you can do a lot of reps in that case because that would only build endurance but not maximum strength.
So always think about the intesity as well.
That's it with the video and with that advice. Try to keep that in mind and try to keep your eyes open for that in your training.
Ask yourself: "What exercises that could be replaced by other ones (that will help you to reach another goal as well) am I doing in my training and how can I change things up?"
Just use your brain and think about what kind of movement patterns are similar to each other and what exercises could have a good transfer.
As said you'll have a good transfer with a similar movement pattern and with a similar level of intensity.
That's it with what I was trying to tell you. If you want to see more shorter videos where I am talking about practical tips like that then comment below.
If you have questions or wishes left then you can write them in the comments. That's it, thanks for watching and see you next time. Bye!

Need For Freedom | Importance Of Freedom in our Life | Hungama Kids - Duration: 2:08.It's aptly said that 'True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right!!'.
Why is freedom so important?
What does it mean?
Is freedom limited only in the perspective of a nation?
Let's talk about 'The need of freedom'
We very well know that freedom is the basic right of every human being.
In fact we are all born free.
But have you given a thought about its need?
Freedom liberates you.. it helps you to make choices and decisions of your life.
It gives you a sense of ownership towards everything.
What if, you don't have the freedom to choose your clothes? or Don't you enjoy more around friends?
It's because they give you the freedom to be yourself.. isn't it?
Along with freedom, it's also very important to understand the right and wrong side of it.
For eg: You are have the freedom to drive ..but it depends on you how you drive.
rashly or responsibly.
On similar grounds this country needed freedom as well, when someone else was making
decisions on our behalf.
And that's the reason; lakhs and lakhs of people sacrificed everything for it.
But after becoming independent the growth of the country got directly proportional to
the sensibilities of its people & today, after 72 years of freedom we are leading on many fronts.
Freedom brings growth, change and its absence creates hindrances, which hinders not only
individuals from growing but also this entire world.
So when you have the freedom to make choices in your life make sure you make the right one…!!

3 Strategies for Learning a New Language - Duration: 4:20.- So do you guys wanna learn a new language
and why being bilingual is important?
In this video, I'm going to be sharing with you
a few reasons why being bilingual is important
and three ways to learn a new language quickly.
Watch until the end to hear a story
about how I translated at the airport.
(upbeat techno music)
Hey, what's up guys, Little Dude here,
helping kids change the world
through creation, innovation, and business.
Here is your tips, tricks, and strategies
on business and gaming, but we also have tons of fun,
so if you're new here, consider subscribing.
Oh, and don't forget to check out the links and show notes
in the description below.
Now, let's roll.
(speaking Spanish)
'Kay, so guys, we're gonna start off with three quick ways
to learn another language!
First way is to go and get a book
on the language you want to learn
in the language you already know.
Take 10 to 15 minutes out of your day.
It can be more or less, just 10 to 15 minutes
is the time I recommend.
And then translate key phrases like,
"Can I go to the bathroom?"
"Can I use the bathroom?"
Si, no, which is yes and no, or por favor, which is please,
and thank you, gracias.
So guys, the second way is to go to an online program,
like the Rosetta Stone program, and learn there,
'cause that online program, whatever one you use,
will probably have audio, so you'll be able to listen to it,
read it, and think about it, and you'll be able to see it,
along with any pictures they have.
Guys, the best way, or personally the best way,
and third way, is to go to someone and have them teach you.
It'll help your personal skills and it can help you hear it,
look, like use your actual hands to write it,
think about it, and do a bunch more stuff
that you can't do online or with a book.
So guys, I actually have a story on the third method.
I had a nanny.
From the time I was 4 months old, she only spoke Spanish
to me, so technically, my first language was Spanish,
therefore my first words were Spanish.
I think that's kinda cool.
And guys, we're now onto the importance of being bilingual.
The first reason it's important is that it's good
for your brain development and it can actually help you
get ahead in school.
The second reason is because it can help you
get ahead in life.
It can open new opportunities for you.
For example, it can help you get your dream job.
The third reason why it's important,
is that it not only help you, but help others.
For example, when I was at the airport this one time,
I was at the airport this one time, right guys,
and these men, they were having some problems
at the counter.
The attendant only spoke English
and they only spoke Spanish, so the massive language barrier
in-between them was preventing the men
from getting their tickets.
So I walked over there, really nervous at first,
but I got more confident as I kept on translating.
By the end, I was feeling great.
We almost missed our flight, but it was way worth it,
'cause we just changed some people's lives.
And guys, I have a question.
Which way was your favorite to learn this new language?
Was it way one, a book, way two, a online program,
way three, having someone teach you, or another one?
Let us know in the comments below, 'cause the comments
are where some of the best ideas are born.
