Hi.
Welcome to The Man Made.
My name is Alen White.
I am a writer and philosopher.
And in this episode I will show you the awe and wonder of the television.
The television is a common machine, but it is an object of awe.
And the awe of the television is that it is, in essence, surrogate human eyes.
The television is the mechanical substitute of human eyes, of human sight; the substitute
of a man observing entities, observing shapes and colour and light, which he cannot directly
perceive.
The television, in effect, is the human eyes, the human sight, entities and attributes.
That is the awe and wonder of the television: that man created the television, and made
a box that observes the world for him.
My name is Alen White, and this is The Man Made.

In the next episode, I will show you the awe of the belt.
Until next time: think twice and check your premises.
