Jonathan Hunsaker: Hey, you know fermented foods are good for you,

but do you know when to eat them?

Stay tuned and we'll tell you.

Hey, Jonathan Hunsaker here with Organixx.

Do you eat fermented foods and you're wondering

"Should I eat them before my meal, middle of the meal, at the end of a meal,

on an empty stomach? What's the best time to eat fermented foods?"

Let's go ask Doc Nuzum.

Dr. Daniel Nuzum: Fermented foods are best consumed at the beginning of a meal or

at the end of a meal.

At the beginning of a meal, more of the beneficial microbes will survive,

because at the beginning of a meal, the stomach acid production is low.

After you've eaten, your stomach acid starts being produced,

you have more and more stomach acid being produced, and that is an antibiotic.

One of the functions of hydrochloric acid in our gut is to kill microbes.

And so, if you're consuming a fermented food, you want some of those microbes to survive.

So, you'd eat that before you eat your meal.

If you have already eaten or are at the end of the meal,

you can also eat fermented foods at the end of the meal,

and they actually help with adjusting the pH in the gut so that you process the food better.

So, adding fermented foods either before you eat,

which gives you more probiotics out of the fermented foods,

or consuming the fermented food at the end of the meal,

which speeds up your digestion, are the best ways to consume it.

You can also consume the fermented foods while you're eating,

it just won't do as much of either of those jobs as efficiently.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Thanks, Doc. I love when Doc teaches.

I mean I pay so much attention.

I've learned so much from Doc over the last couple years.

And that's what we're trying to do now, is really bring Doc into your home

Trey Gowdy Told The Deep State Their Time Is Up - Duration: 10:51.

Trey Gowdy Told The Deep State Their Time Is Up

Republicans are racing against the clock.

Deep State agents are purposely stalling the investigation into the FBI's conduct during

2016 in the hopes that the Democrats will win the midterms.

So Trey Gowdy stood in front of the camera and issued a warning to the Deep State that

their time was up.

Republican investigators continue to unravel the Deep State's cover-up about the FBI

using the fake news Russia dossier to investigate Donald Trump.

The FBI said they had dropped Steele as a confidential human source because he hadn't

told the truth about his dealings with the press.

But the latest bombshell is the revelation that ex-British spy Christopher Steele continued

to communicate with the FBI using DOJ official Bruce Ohr as a backchannel, whose wife Nellie

had worked with Fusion GPS on the dossier.

Republicans have been working to obtain the texts and emails between Steele and Ohr, but

the Deep State actors within the DOJ are slow-walking their requests.

Now Congressional Republicans have reached their breaking point.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy appeared on Fox News and dropped the hammer

on the Deep State.

"Think about Chris Steele who has just been dismissed from the FBI because he cannot follow

their rules and regulations and his communication with someone in the Department of Justice…[who]

is not involved in this investigation…so of course we want to talk Bruce Ohr and Nellie

Ohr – who oh, by the way, was working for Fusion GPS, the firm that hired Christopher

Steele to dig up dirt on Donald Trump," Gowdy stated.

Gowdy then described how Deep State actors in the Department of Justice had refused to

make employees available for interviews.

Gowdy explained that a list of potential witnesses was sent to the DOJ and that, "So far that

has fallen on deaf ears."

"Chairman Goodlatte is a patient man, but we have run out of patience," Gowdy concluded.

This is a massive scandal.

And the so-called "mainstream" media is working to cover it up.

The FBI has yet to provide real answers about their relationship with Steele and how the

Bureau used the dossier in the Russia investigation.

Critics believe the FBI and DOJ ignoring Congresses requests for witness testimony and documents

is not a good-faith move.

Trump supporters contend it's because both agencies are terrified of the public reaction

once their conduct is made public.

Even RINO Republicans like Lindsey Graham are getting fed up.

Graham reacted to the bombshell developments about Bruce Ohr by blasting the FBI's Russia

investigation as corrupt.

"When it came to the Trump campaign, it was corrupt, it was biased and I think unethical,"

Graham declared.

Do you agree that the FBI's investigations into Donald Trump and Russian collusion are

corrupt?

Is PowerPoint Ruining the Story? - Duration: 1:53.

PowerPoint's probably one of the most widely used

pieces of software on the planet.

So what's really neat about PowerPoint is:

before 1997, you probably never saw one.

You might have seen overhead projectors,

you might have seen a Kodak carousel

giving you the family vacation slides—

all kinds of formats.

Even people maybe just like talking at a blackboard.

By the early 2000s, almost all of that is gone.

I mean, gone to a degree that even the way we build

new office buildings are organized around idea that

there's going to be a single screen and

a projector up at the front that

everybody sits towards and looks at.

So it's a very quick piece of change.

I think the concern about PowerPoint is that

not all stories have the same format,

and so as more kinds of stories and different occasions

for telling each other stories start looking the same,

we lose some of the diversity that separates:

what it is to give someone an account for

why to go to war,

from a sermon,

from a lecture,

from a second-grader telling you about

their favorite book.

All of these things become the same and

that seems like a major loss for the

art of storytelling for humanity more properly.

I'll admit I love PowerPoint;

I love so many things about being

in front of a room with images,

but in my classes, I try not to use any slides because

I believe that what it is to be together is a unique

one-time event, and I'd like to think of the metaphor

more of being an orchestra conductor:

where like the flutes play what the flutes play,

and the trumpets do their thing, and my job is to

just hold those voices and help them braid together into

a composition none of us can think alone.

And PowerPoint, because it's static and not dynamic,

puts limits on how that might be possible for us.

SAMFORD'S MARCHING BAND IS READY FOR THE SEASON - Duration: 1:34.

We go 8:30 to 8:30 every day.

We do what we like to call three-a-days where we are meeting during three blocks during

the day.

Two outside in the morning, one inside doing music.

The percussion and color guard and dance team they get here a couple of days before everybody

else, so we can like secure our parts and make sure everybody else can like follow along

At the very end of the day getting to go to bed and think 'wow, we did 10 hours of nothing

but band today

Once Wednesday comes we immediately start with drill, putting the formations on the

field.

And then practice going step-by-step and then memorizing music as we're going it's kind

of rough, but it's really fun in the same way.

It's just like it's fast-paced but like in a good way.

Our sound has increased, our visuals have increased and of course overall just the product

of our show has gone and increased by about 200 percent.

When it all comes together it's really, like, it seems so seamless everyone like putting

their parts together so it really like, you forget about all of the time it took to get

there

Them being able to see that, those five minutes or what however long our show is, is like

it's great, being able to entertain.

That feeling after walking off the show I mean any performing artist will tell you,

that high of coming off the stage or coming off the field knowing that you've done a great

job, it's like none other

Beverley Warne - What is company culture? - Duration: 1:02.

Company culture is something that runs through a business from top to bottom,

it's about how people do things around here basically it's how they act,

it's how they behave, it's how they work with each other and I think it permeates

right through the staff but equally it permeates through then to customers,

suppliers, everything they do everything they say. And if there's a great company

culture going on in a business, you can absolutely feel it from the minute you

walk through the door and equally, you can feel it if there's a bad company culture

going on in a business.

Montreal's Miss Swing is Tap Dancing Into Her 80s - Duration: 2:40.

I'm a preacher.

I preach tap.

And then I give it to my disciples

to go out and spread the gospel of tap dancing.

My name is Ethel Bruneau,

and I have been tap dancing for 83 years.

Everybody knows me in show business as Miss Swing.

When I tap, it's just, it's glorious.

I just have a good time.

From the day one, I just loved it.

I can remember I didn't have a pair of tap shoes,

so I took some soda tops that you,

from the soda top bottles,

and put on the bottom of my shoes till I got tap shoes,

and that's what I used for taps (laughing).

Well, I was 15 when I got to tour with Cab Calloway

at the beautiful Rialto Theatre that we're in.

I just loved, you know, performing,

so I worked all over Montreal, but not only Montreal.

I worked all over Canada.

I teach the original traditional tap.

Give me a wing.

Now, instead of looking

down at the floor, Yeah?

Look up and get those arms way up.

(tap shoes stomping)

There you go, yeah.

You're making me work, right now.

OK, cool.

But you're doing this. Yeah.

And when you're up here, it's like you're flying.

Broadway tap, that's another form of tap dancing.

When you go to Broadway, you know, the arms

and here and there and this

and the smiles are there, you know.

Well, like us?

We just get down to the rhythm and let it fly.

I call it laying down the iron,

you know, talking with your feet.

I'm a tap dancer because of Ethel Bruneau.

She's a fantastic teacher because she cares about the dance.

She communicates love with whatever she does,

especially when she's yelling at you.

And she just inspires me, even to this day, to be better.

I had heart surgery, but when I woke up,

I just wanted to tap dance.

I was like, let me get up out of this bed.

No, I don't got time to be laying in no bed

getting needles and whatever.

Let me get up and do my thing.

I'm not stopping.

This is the way I'm leaving, with tap dancing.

You know, I'm gonna leave with my tap shoes.
