Waching daily Aug 25 2017

welcome to fat over 40 my name is miles and in this episode I'm gonna update you

on my Snowden challenge now if you need to the channel please subscribe as a new

film every single Friday and if you like what you hear

give us a thumbs up but more importantly comment down below let me know if you've

got a challenge at the moment now I'm gonna three weeks out from my

big Snowden challenge it happens on the 16th of September 2017 and I'm doing it

in the memory of my cousin James who died at just the very young age of 27

when he was running a half marathon he was a very fit young man and his heart

just stopped so I'm gonna raise some money for a charity called CRY which

stands for cardiac risk in the young and they do a lot of research and

development into what causes your heart just to suddenly stop

especially when you're so young so there's my Just Giving page down here

please visit it is a little bit of a story about James and about what exactly

I'm doing and every single penny or dollar is very much appreciated so what

is the task so it's no ordinary walk-up Snowden max Snowden is the highest

mountain in England and Wales it rises over a thousand meters high and I'm

gonna carry the weight that I've lost in a pack on my back which is five stone or

70 pounds or 32 kilos and when I set this challenge pipe thought I didn't

think it would be easy but I thought it'd be a challenge

but I thought you'd be okay and in my practice walks I've just realised that

do you know what I can't understand I can't get my head around how I used to

walk around everything they and go about my life carrying that

much excess weight it's just really staggering I mean now some of my

training walks I've carried like half of the weight for maybe an hour or so and

to think they still walk around like all day long with it I mean I'm sweating

pockets so it's been a real eye-opener and let me tell you if you're wondering

whether or not to sponsor me please please please do sponsor me because I

need all the encouragement to get yet this bloody laude

now there's a big group of us going I put it on the sort of social media that

I was up for some support and you know I've been overwhelmed actually on how

many people are actually going to join us so I'm really looking forward to that

Craig and Sue Craig from grey wolf fitness so I'm sure you know he's coming

along to join us as well so that's gonna be fantastic to actually meet him in

real life as it were with us we're doing the west side of snow and there are many

different tracks of snow we're doing the west side on a path called the Snowden

Ranger's path which starts off quite steep and then is quite sort of gradual

and windy to the top so it's going to be quite sort of gentle

there's some families coming with us as well so it should be a good day out

it'll take me well it'll take most people about two two and a half three

hours I think it's gonna be a bit of a Plaut I'm gonna sort of take some breaks

as I go the main thing is I get up there I'm getting up there and I'm not walking

it back down I'm gonna empty the pebbles out tonight and get out there I'll put a

little video but on me I've had to sort of by a special backpack that will

actually support the the weight I'm carrying it's got like this special sort

of harness which means that all of the weight is carried around my waist and it

doesn't sort of pull on my shoulders I'm using a 20 mil gravel in bags it is what

it is I did try using a sound they just

every we're gonna spew so on the West slightest gnome there's a little small

village called rib duel and that's where we're going to be basing ourselves and

yeah I'm looking forward to the walk I'm also looking forward to the dinner that

we're gonna have after and maybe a few drinks maybe a few drinks yeah so please

get involved and do drink the hill by going onto the Just Giving page and

giving as much or as little as you can afford right now what am I gonna do

after Snowden well I've already put some thought to that and it's really all

about my belly I need to shift the last bit of my body fat I know I can't sort

of spot reduced fat I need to just get rid of fat all over so I'm gonna have an

intensive three months up to Christmas in the new year where my diet is going

to be on point and then a really sort of do a deep delve into my macros and of

course I'll take you on the journey with me so one more time and this is the last

time I'll say if you would be so kind to take a moment and go on to the Just

Giving page and give even if it's 10 P every single penny counts and I really

really really do appreciate your support and if you live in the UK maybe Adam

from beyond Italy Katie and I know you live up near Manchester so maybe you

want to jump on that nice bike of yours and pop along ICS and

walk up a little hill in three weeks time so if you make one change this week

set yourself a change so you don't die fat

you

Accounting for Beginners #72 / Target Profit / Managerial Accounting Basics Tutorial 101 - Duration: 14:04.

yo yo yo what's going on everybody if you don't know if you're new here I am

CPA strength I am the strongest licensed CPA in the state of Florida what do you

do buddy i educate motivate and inspire by

teaching accounting on a daily basis the building blocks like the basics because

it all goes on that but I am a CPA so I am one of the half million of them some

say I might know what I'm talking about but anyways well let's get I want to get

into this one this one's gonna be really fun they're all really fun if you happen

to be new here I always say never we do you know if you happen to be sticking

around for a while what up what up what up thanks thanks for coming back don't

we have a lot of fun here I know we're trying to stay positive we're trying to

you know I'm trying to grow my channel I'm trying to give good content I'm sure

the majority of people here are trying to better themselves in some degree

learn more about their business they're trying to pass a class whether they want

to be an accountant or not they want to take a business class and the list goes

on and on an old job application they might have an accounting test a job

whatever the case may be we're here to better ourselves and so yeah I mean

sometimes you know I got a certain schedule that I'm grinding on you know

like like a daily videos so sometimes I have to just really push myself to make

these videos sometimes I don't really feel like it like like I'm sure you

don't really feel like studying right now maybe you do but I'm sure there's

maybe I'm catching somebody who doesn't want to start you right now but they're

just like oh another pushing through and I'm kind of fun I'm kind of fun so you

like obviously would see me strength about let's get into this man I'm sorry

anyways that's for the returning people if you're new I have the best place in

the world over here at the best accounting playlist in the world

Megara dreams come true but I've already talked enough so let's get into this one

but this is also likely and six series I think your boys kind of

getting big dough let's get Jackson cell five years we'll

deal with five years of straights squirtle underdog bring it you who I

mean I can just lie about how rich I am right I mean I got to look juicy pretty

Liz this one is number 72 target profit all

right basically it's a definitely a play on breakeven it's definitely after fixed

and variable costs and contribution margin and if you notice we poops sorry

if you know I mean I just noticed I'm getting I get better at learning the

accounting as I'm teaching you know the first the very first video idea turbos

up fixed and variable cost and then the next one was out contribution margin and

then everything breakeven break-even point the examples on that target profit

and how did how to figure that its contribution margin there's other

formulas like I think margin of safety and this and that and all kinds of

formulas that go with the contribution margin so the contribution margin is

very important so I don't really want to I've already gone a lot of time so we

just want to get into this one this problem here right this is the target

profits is my classic series right target profit number 72 72 can you

believe it but the thing is here we want we want to target profit we want it

we've already done breakeven we already know we already know the formula for

breakeven and we're going to do that real fast so but we don't want to break

even more to make some money we want to make $50,000 as here in profits all

right we want to make $50,000 profit so how many units are we going to have to

sell for that well how much how much did we make per unit first how much how much

do we make per unit all our contribution margin is 80

so that's how much we make per unit so then we make a tea we make a tea a pop

right we make a tea a pop and how many how many of how many $80 do we have to

make to cover our other expenses which are fixed cost which is like our rent

and stuff how much how many of these $80 years do we have to sell the 200 to

cover our two hundred and forty thousand dollar fixed costs and that's that's the

break-even right there so I'm just kind of going going over breakeven real fast

but I just did this is 72 so 70 and 71 was breakeven and breakeven example so I

don't want to get into that again I'm sorry so if you don't know what the

breakeven is go back to the other go back to the other one please with this

with the fixed cost being 240,000 the units on price being 146 140 dollars the

variable cost being $60 per unit that's how this is the break-even formula here

are fixed over contribution margin that and then fix the contribution margin of

sales but it's variable and so that is $240,000 fixed over the contribution

margin which is 140 minus 60 which is 80 which happens to be 3,000 units you have

to sell 3,000 units because you make 80 80 80 dollars a pop so if you sold 3,000

3,000 of these widgets that $80 apiece 80 80 80 80 80 I make an ad I make an 80

or make an 80 you have to sell 3,000 to cover this 240 thousand dollars and

that's breakeven so that's nice to know but I'm sure you're not spending all

your time just to break even because let's say you know you've got bills

right the bills don't necessarily care that you're starting a new business and

you're just breaking even right now we don't we don't give AF about that so

you're like okay sir like okay we're going to sell 3000 units to break even

now how many would we have to sell to how many would we have to sell to make

$50,000 I think that's a good question and I want you to kind of analyze

analyze this sorry I did I didn't realize I wrote this this expression

here because I told you on the other breakeven you would always want to check

this if I said three because a break even is revenues equals costs if you had

3,000 units you want to plug it in here 3,000 units times 140 dollars a year

that's four hundred and twenty thousand dollars of revenue equals sixty times

three thousand is the variable cost that that's what 180,000 plus 240,000 so I'm

sorry but it this specifies three thousand units specifies the revenues

equal costs I want that to be shown what do you think you would do to make this

to make fifty thousand dollars there's a whole formula and stuff but

let's just think and it's fun to see because it's thinking about how many

units it took three thousand three thousand widgets just to break even now

like how many is it going to make them to do fifty thousand dollars I think

it's kind of interesting because you've already satisfied all your fixed costs

with this breakeven you've already paid all your rent and all your other costs

so now every so now your every sale before every sell before it was $80 and

that was just going to your fix like your rent or those two hundred and forty

thousand dollars of fixed costs but those are paid for so now that we've

broken even every every sale is proper is eighty eighty dollars profit so I

would just do 50 thousand / 80 which happens to be 625 see see

that's that's kind of that's kind of amazing that I see it's kind of amazing

that you not amazing but it's just interesting to me and you know I want

you to kind of think about it like that and then if it makes sense to unlike not

such a fast level but I really think people just go so fast and like what's

the answer what's the answer with the answer and then it's like you'll never

learn it so I just think I like to just go do not worry about anybody else and

you know think about it well that's consider you have time so

not just to go super super fast hold on one second Lee make sure yes in total

you have to you have to sell thirty six hundred and twenty-five thirty six

twenty five units to to profit fifty thousand dollars but break even three

thousand and then you just kind of hold 625 more to make that money or another

another you know another method you could do if you just want to get the

target profit real fast would be add it add the target profit right here fifty

thousand and that would be what two hundred and ninety thousand two hundred

and ninety thousand over 80 see is at two hundred two hundred and ninety

thousand divided by a 36:25 well you know what I hope everyone understands

the target profit I'm getting a little bit I'm getting a little bit sweaty look

at what what women say about the target profit

I say it's pretty easy I think it's once once you know the contribution margin

once you get the break the breakeven method

so everything on the positivity level today

no accept accept accept out that's it I was feeling like more than more than

usual today like I'm kind of like what are you doing with yourself is you're

wasting your time like like you're never going to make it big on YouTube like why

do you try and Baba and I don't know why has negative feelings but I discover

like know what I really want and just push through things so I just want to

say you know some Thai you know some people look for me look to

me as for motivation or inspiration as well as the education and a couple

videos before I said you know what I'm going to accept that role if I do

inspire you on the Amin I accepted it that was like a month ago and so I think

about that and I just want to say you know sometimes I have my bad days of

course sometimes I don't want to do it I feel behind all the time I feel like my

videos aren't good all these things but I made a goal to myself and I'm going to

be professional about it and the goal to myself was I'm doing today I'm doing a

video a day til the end of the year so that's like for like I don't know five

or six months of video a day anyways I thought maybe I would try to talk I

talked a little bit at the end so I've already given the lesson and

then you know you can stick around for me to blah blah blah or you could leave

I think that's better but sometimes premisses all like freestyle pretty much

the whole videos is freestyle so before I keep you any longer I hope

to see you in the next one I hope to see you in 73 I do have something planned

especially all for the next little bits so I hope to see in that one anyways

have stay positive be nice to people that's what do you think may be positive

yes but that's hard but you know what you know what I tell myself to be nice

like what I really like so a lot of times with my glue you know I'm I'm just

like you know just being nice dogs like just be nice like like I see some I just

smile and say hi like hi just like so so I want you to be nice be positive and be

nice all right have a great day you have a great night let's get it peace to

drift it's a back office quick with you to do shit got great put me this is what

a rocket moon stick nobody wants topping the throat so time

and like a debit card with a platinum and gold

GTX 560 Benchmark - Overwatch at 1080p for $30! - Duration: 6:11.

hey guys and welcome back to HardWirePC this is Pete and this is going to be

another used graphics card test so this time I have the gtx 560 which I got for

$30 so let's benchmark it and see what it

does. The gtx 560 was launched in early 2011 and was originally positioned as a

mid-range graphics card will be an invidious 500 series the GPU is a

refresh of the Fermi micro architecture which is produced using a 40 nanometer

manufacturing process containing a total of 336 cuter cords a core clock of 810

megahertz a memory clock of 2002 megahertz or the capacity of one

gigabyte gddr5 memory the example I picked up is a gigabyte windforce

Edition that contains four copper heat pipes with dual fans to call the GPU the

rear iron is very simple with two DVI ports and one mini DVI port to power the

graphics card you will require two 6-pin power connectors on your car supplied

now that we have the basic specs let's give the card a quick Kling and do some

gaming benchmarks

first up we have overwatch running on medium graphics settings with the render

scale set to 100% the GTX 560 did an impressive job keeping the framerate

above 60 most of the time with a respectable average of 94 frames per

second the graphics settings for f1 2016 had to be set to ultra low in order to

get playable frame rates on the gtx 560 the best i was able to do is a maximum

on 50 with a minimum of 29 and an average of 38 FPS the gtx 560 did a

better job that i expected when playing Crysis free at medium settings for most

of the test the game stayed at a playable framerate with occasional drops

below 30 and hitting a maximum of 83 fps

csgo did quite well running on the gtx 560 with all graphics set to a highest

level i was able to hit a maximum of 155 FPS while occasionally dipping below 60

FPS with an overall average of 98 FPS

League of Legends shouldn't be a surprise the GTX 560 did a great job at

keeping the framerate high at all times the lowest FPS recorded during this test

was 91

dirt show down the alright with the graphic settings of medium although it

wasn't able to consistently achieve 60fps the gaming experience was still

exceptionally smooth with an average frame rate of 51 the gaming experience

was very smooth when playing dota 2 on high settings with 100% render quality

the frame rate was very consistent throughout the test with a minimum of 59

a maximum of 75 with an average of 66 frames per second alright guys that's it

for the test so guys let me know what you think of this gtx 560 honestly I

think this is a pretty good value for money for $30 especially when this

graphics card has the x12 support now I do have a stack of other old graphics

cards that I'm going to be testing in the near future if you guys stick around

for that please subscribe to my channel and also let me know in the comments

what type of games you like me to test so the range of games I try to mix it

around but I try to use most of the mainstream games I know some of you want

GTA 5 so I'm going to try to get my hands on that if there's any other games

you really want me to test out on these old graphics cards just let me know and

leave it in the comments below anyway guys that's it for me I will see you in

the next video

Samsung heir Lee billionaire Jae-yong jailed for five years in South Korea - AMAZING NEWS - Duration: 4:42.

Samsung heir Lee billionaire Jae-yong jailed for five years in South Korea

South Korean prosecutors have announced theyre seeking a 12-year prison sentence for Samsung chief Jay Y Lee, a figure at the heart a major national scandal. Lee Jae-yong has been jailed for five years.

THE billionaire heir to electronics giant Samsung has been jailed for five years for his involvement in a scandal that led to the impeachment of the former South Korean president.

Lee Jae-yong faced up to 12 years in jail for his role in the scandal that rocked the country.

Mr Lee, also known as Jay Y Lee has been in custody since February on a number of corruption charges including bribery, embezzlement and hiding assets overseas. RELATED: Samsung 'dismantled' by corruption charges.

Lee Jae-yong was found guilty of bribery and perjury. Source:AP. Jae-Yong was sentenced to five years in prison today.

The Seoul Central District Court convicted Lee, 49, the vice-chairman of Samsung Electronics, the world's largest smartphone maker, of offences related to the corruption scandal that brought down ousted president Park Geun.

It said Lee was also guilty of embezzlement, hiding assets overseas, concealing profit from criminal acts and perjury.

The court said Lee hoped bribes for Park Geun-hye at the time she was president and her close friend Choi Soon-sil would secure government support for a merger that strengthened Lee's control over the Samsung empire and its flagship Samsung Electronics at a crucial time.

Former South Korean President Park Geun-hye was implicated in the massive political scandal. A lawyer for Lee said the defence team would not accept the court ruling to jail Lee for five years for bribery and will appeal against the decision.

"We are confident the ruling will be overturned," lawyer Song Wu-cheol told reporters after the ruling by the Seoul Central District Court. Lee Jae-Yong's penalty could leave Samsung rudderless for years and hamper its ability to make key investment decisions.

Lee was found guilty ofcharges centred on payments and promises by Samsung totalling 43. 3 billion won (A$50. 60 million) to Park's secret confidante Choi Soon-Sil.

The court found the money was in return for policy favours including government support for Lee's hereditary succession at the group, after his father was left bedridden by a heart attack in 2014.

The defence had denied the charges, saying Samsung was pressured by Park to make the donations under duress — and that Lee was not aware of them and did not approve them.

Four other top Samsung executives were also convicted and received sentences of up to four years.

The demonstrators who mounted giant candlelit protests against Park last year also targeted Lee and other chiefs of the chaebols, as the family-controlled conglomerates that dominate Asia's fourth-largest economy are known.

South Korea's GDP is still growing but social and economic frustrations have mounted over the benefits not being equally shared. Around 800 riot police were deployed around the court to prevent possible clashes between rival sets of demonstrators, Yonhap said.

South Korean protesters sit near a banner with a picture of Lee Jae-yong. It was deluged with hundreds of applications for the 30 seats in courtroom 417 available to members of the public, which were allocated by lottery.

Park's own trial began in the same room in May, and it also saw Lee's father Lee Kun-Hee convicted of tax and other offences in 2008, receiving a suspended sentence. SOUTH KOREA'S RULING FAMILIES.

The verdict could add impetus to new President Moon Jae-In's campaign pledges to reform the chaebols.

The firms have long had murky connections with political authorities in South Korea, and past trials of their leaders have often ended with light or suspended sentences, with courts citing their contributions to the economy.

The Lee clan directly owns about five percent of Samsung Electronics shares, but maintains its grip on the wider group through a byzantine web of cross-ownership stakes involving dozens of companies.

The court said Park was aware that Lee wanted state approval for a controversial merger of two Samsung units in 2015, seen as a key step to ensuring his accession.

The deal was opposed by shareholders who said it wilfully undervalued shares of one of the firms. But it eventually went through after the national pension fund -- a major Samsung shareholder — approved it.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in, right has pledged to reform the chaebols. Analysts differ on the potential impact of the verdict and sentence on Samsung.

Lee has been Samsung's de facto leader since his father fell ill, but his lawyers and ex-members of the former elite Future Strategy Office (FSO), which dictated the vast group's overall direction and major business decisions, sought to portray him as naive and inexperienced.

"Samsung will not be doomed without Jay Lee," said Geoffrey Cain, the author of a forthcoming book on the group.

"It's up to the specialists to make their own decisions." Samsung appears to have been unaffected by Lee's absence so far -- he was detained in custody in February -- with flagship subsidiary Samsung Electronics making record profits on the back of strong demand for its memory chips.

But Chung Sun-Sup, the head of corporate analysis firm chaebul.

com, said major chaebol decisions on large-scale acquisitions or investments "are often endorsed by the patriarch of a ruling family", and with Lee in prison the firm "may move more slowly than before".

Its shares have soared in recent months, but were down 105 percent on Friday afternoon after the verdict.

The ruling is seen as a strong indicator of the likely outcome in Park's trial, as some of the charges against the ousted head of state her are inextricably linked to the accusations Lee faced.
