Mandy Moore has no regrets about adoption in emotional This Is Us season two teaser - Duration: 2:13.

Get your handkerchiefs out. In a goosebump-inducing teaser for the second season of NBCs This Is Us, viewers saw Rebecca, played Mandy Moore, share a revelation with Randall, played by Sterling K. Brown, about the circumstances of his adoption.

Randall and his mother are having a heavy conversation about he and his spouse Beth, played by Susan Kelechi, being on the fence about adopting a baby together.

How did you guys decide with me? Randall asked his mother, who replied, It's complicated.

In a flashback sequence, Rebecca - who had just had a child die in childbirth - and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) were seen pressed up against the window of a maternity ward, looking at a newborn Randall.

Jack coaxed his shell-shocked wife with an uplifting series of statements. That little guy, right there. He wound up here - exact same place, exact same day, he said. Just look at him, Bec. The place right there, right next to ours.

Can't you just feel it? You know, can't you just see it?. Rebecca, in the present day, then revealed that she initially did not want to adopt her beloved son.

She told Randall, I said, No. But your father was so sure I was tired and I was grieving. And he just kept pushing me. He was so determined that you were meant to be - meant to be ours..

She then delivered an affectionate statement about how the late Jack was persuasive in a way that would change their lives forever.

Sometimes in marriage, someone has to be the one to push to make the big moves, she said. And often times in our marriage, yes, it was your father.

Our marriage wasn't perfect, it's true - but none are. And your father wasn't perfect either, but he was pretty damn close - as close as they come..

The scene hit a crescendo as Rebecca told Randall how she had no regrets about the life-changing decision. She told Randall, He pushed a stranger on me and that stranger became my child, and that child became my life; he became you. .

The second season of This Is Us begins September 26 on NBC at 9/8c.

'You could get fired for this!': Meghan Markle is stuck inside a scandal on tense episode of Suits

Meghan Markle's character Rachel was stuck in the middle of a scandal on Wednesday's episode of USAs Suits. Her paramour Mike (Patrick J. Adams) confessed that he was still working his pro bono wrongful death case - behind their boss's back.

'So you're going to tell Harvey right?' Rachel begged Mike, who said he'd only divulge the details of the prison case if he was asked.

'These guys are extending sentences, what if it was me in there and they were extending my sentence?' he asked.

Rachel wasn't happy about being sandwiched in a lie, so they made a pact, that if Harvey asked her outright, she'd tell him the truth. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) later confronted Rachel, who revealed everything.

Meanwhile, Mike was trying to prove there was a mass conspiracy within the private prison firms - which he got thanks to a hack.

Back at home, Rachel was concerned about his methodology. She told him, 'Mike you could get fired for this!'. He responded, 'If he lets me go, then he lets me go.

Mike and Harvey later came to blows over the case. 'Harvey, they are lining their pockets on the backs of people that should have been free years ago and you're letting them get away with it,' Mike said.

'I can't trust you,' Harvey replied, threatening to fire him if he made another move on the case.

The show flipped between present day and flashbacks to seven years ago - when Harvey and Louis were forced to work on a case together - which caused arguments.

'I don't need to take advice from a six-year associate,' raged Louis (Rick Hoffman) who has just been promoted to junior partner. 'I don't need take a loss on my record because you're too insecure to listen to reason,' retorted Harvey.

'You're not in charge, so are you going to get on board or are you going to go crying to momma?' Louis asked him.

Harvey went behind Louis's back to bring the case to trial. Their boss Jessica (Gina Torres) found out and snatched the case from Harvey.

Feeling like he'd been undercut, Harvey conspired with Alex (Dulé Hill) to get a job at another firm. Jessica was furious: 'I picked you out of the God d--- mail room!' she huffed as Harvey resigned.

She also chastised Louis for having a chip on his shoulder and strong-armed him into getting therapy, with Dr.

Donna (Sarah Rafferty) initially refused to follow Harvey to the new legal firm. She then attempted to celebrate her six-month anniversary with her boyfriend, who gave her a book of Shakespeare's sonnets.

'Harvey is like a silent partner in our relationship,' complained her lover. Jessica later begged Harvey to stay and he accepted - causing him to let Alex down badly. This meant Harvey owed Alex a 'big favor'.

Alex came to cash in the favor at the end of the show, when he revealed that he'd been coerced into covering up a murder some years ago. This put a spanner in Mike's pro bono case with the prison companies.

Suits airs Wednesdays on the USA channel at 9/8c.
