NASA is looking for a Planetary Protection Officer to protect the planet from potential

alien contamination.

The U.S. government's official employment site posted the job advertisment for hiring

the Planetary Protection Officer.

According to the job listing in the usajobs.gov, the Planetary Protection Officer (PPO) is

responsible for the leadership of NASA's planetary protection capability, maintenance of planetary

protection policies, and oversight of their implementation by NASAs space flight missions.

This job comes with a six figure salary— paying up to $187,000 per year

The job is a three-year contract that may be extended for a further two years.

During this time, NASA will be planning several missions, including one to Jupiter's icy

moon Europa, where it will search for signs of alien life.

Planetary protection is concerned with the avoidance of organic-constituent and biological

contamination in human and robotic space exploration.

NASA maintains policies for planetary protection applicable to all space flight missions that

may intentionally or unintentionally carry Earth organisms and organic constituents to

the planets or other solar system bodies, and any mission employing spacecraft, which

are intended to return to Earth and its biosphere with samples from extraterrestrial targets

of exploration.

Sonic Forces THEORY - Who is Infinite? [SUBTITLES] - Duration: 9:40.

Hello everybody, I'm Painto

And today I want to show you my theory about Sonic Forces

More precisely about the Infinite character

According to my small theory, this now quite popular and deeply analyzed character

Is in reality a well-known and liked by all of us game programmer, on of the series creators: Yuji Naka in disguise

And I'll try to show that my theory makes sense.

First, we'll watch a part of the E3 Sonic Forces' Trailer

Well, we see four characters: there's Metal [Sonic], Shadow, Chaos and Zavok

What can we tell from it?

You may say, that they all are evil or at least they did once something evil

And that's what they have in common

But they also share other chracteristic - they all come from the Sonic series

Of course, we all know who and how began the series [Besides that, as partly the creator, he can fully control them]

Who gave life to our blue hedgehog character

And we'll see him in few moments behind them.

And here we see more clues

These red cubes are a reference to Gamecube, for it was released SA2: Battle, one of the best series entries

And this is the meaning

And throwing the blocks references to the fact that much of the fanbase likes the game and (if they don't have) want to get it

Now let's look at this, we all know this is infinity symbol

But let's look closer

If we rotate it by 90 degrees, which we can also see in the first frames of this Infinite symbol

then it looks like number 8

And there's something else that's related to number 8

Sonic Team was formerly named SEGA AM8

Now we'll watch second video

Enter Infinite, released recently

Here we see that Infinite is faster than Sonic, from what it comes?

From the fact that this is Yuji Naka

He created him, so he'll be always faster than him

Now we see that he's stronger than Sonic

This also explains some of my look at the plot details

But mainly it's like previously as the Sonic creator

Can make with him whatever he wants

And that's what we've seen few seconds ago

I'll explain the plot soon

Here Eggman says 'Nice' and that

Also can say us something, as formerly Eggman was meant to be the main character

But Sonic was choosen instead, as he seemed to fit more

And here he sees that Infinite who is Yuji Naka finally takes care of Sonic

Is for him something very positive and nice

Because now HE will be the main one, or even he thinks he'll become the protagonist

Obviously the characters can't recognize the new villain

This new character because Naka doesn't seem to be very villainous

But they can't recognize him. Why?

Because they never were in our real world, so they don't know who Naka is

But we all who are here know who he is.

And finally, the third element, we'll look at his theme song

There are few verses

That will reveal his intentions, as we'll as some references

"I am the tallest of mountains" is obviously a reference to the snowboard section from IceCap Zone

There is another Sonic 3 reference

"I am the toughest of terrors" is a reference to the infamous barrel of Carnival Night Zone Act 2

This obviously references the fact that Yuji Naka is a programmer

And if the players will anger him

Then he may add some garbage code

And the game will not work or will anger these players

Oh, here's a deeper reference

"'Cause I was born in this pain" it's a reference to Naka's thoughts about Sonic series

According to himself, his point was not creating a rival character and game for Mario

But Sega made it like that and he was very sad with it and it hurt him a lot

Which is the 'pain' from the song.

It may mean two things, one is that...

You can look at this as Yuji Naka who left Sonic Team comes back to make Sonic games again

Or it means that the fans never can get enough of Sonic

But we get to the same answer

This is a reference to that the founders of Sonic Team

Yasuhara, Ohshima and Naka

Left Sonic Team (and Sega) in the first years of XXI century

And this is "everything you know has come and gone"

Here it references the mentioned pain thing again

But Naka is aware that the Sonic series and its canon is in fact infinite

Just look, we don't know the origins of Sonic nor how the timeline ends

So we can assume it's like a line: Sonic never gets old and it existed since forever and it will still go on

And that's all what's in the song

Now I will explain the plot using these facts

And it is quite simple

Yuji Naka learned about Sonic Boom series and also has heard the unfunny jokes of Modern Sonic games

So he decided to get care of it and make Sonic great again

I think that's all about my a bit crazy theory

I hope I've conviced some of you
