Waching daily Jun 28 2017

Andrés is going to love this story.

I had a boyfriend about four years ago.

And we came to the Highgate Cemetery on a date.

And it was actually a really nice date.

Now I'm bringing you here.

Why are you sharing that information?

It's where I bring all my guys.

It's what you do with all your boyfriends.

[Intro music]

Good afternoon. It is, like, the hottest day of the year.

So far.

I'm boiling, it's like 30 degrees.

And right now we're heading to...?

The cemetery - I can't remember what it's called.

Highgate.

Highgate Cemetery.

(Music)

So we're in the general vicinity of the cemetery.

It's here behind me.

Our bus driving missed our stop which was a little annoying because now we have to walk

all the way back down the hill.

I think you're really going to like this one.

I think this is really your kind of thing.

Cemeteries.

Cemeteries are my kind of thing?

No, I just mean there's a lot of history, and it's really beautiful; there's a lot to

see.

It's very peaceful.

Obviously because it's a cemetery.

It looks very old.

(Music) We just saw the most adorable thing ever.

These fire men with their fire truck had their hose out and they were spraying all the kids.

I wish I was there.

We have our tickets.

And we're going to do a guided tour.

You don't see very excited but I think you're actually going to really like it.

It's a depressing thing to do on a gorgeous day like this.

I think you're going to really like it though.

It's going to be nice.

No I know I'm going to like it but you could've picked a better day.

Before we kick off, let me just give you some idea of the history of the place.

This cemetery was founded in 1839 by the London Cemetery Company.

(Music)

This is the Egyptian Avenue, for fairly obvious reasons.

What do you think so far?

I never thought that a cemetery could be so interesting.

It's very interesting, I'm having a great time.

(Music)

We just finished the guided tour.

It was really good.

Now we're in the East Cemetery...or is this the West Cemetery?

The East Cemetery.

We're in the East Cemetery on a mission to find Karl Marx's grave and it's so beautiful.

It's so peaceful here.

We've made it to Hampstead Heath.

Have you been to Hampstead Heath before?

Yeah you definitely have been.

We've been here together, what am I talking about?

We've always seen these pools and never actually used them.

I'm a little nervous to be honest.

So you might be the guinea pig.

You might be the one to go in.

I'll just push you in.

It's okay.

I have to guard the fort.

What fort?

Our fort of stuff.

So I was just asking Andrés what his first memory of a swear word was.

And he said he used to think "shut up" was a swear word.

I don't have a memory of the first experience I have with a swear word.

That's like...do you have a memory of the first time you took a step?

I used to get a bus in Venezuela and the high schoolers used the f-word and I thought this

was a newly invented word that they had created because I'd never heard this word before.

And I remember telling my mom this like, "oh, there's this new word..." and she was like,

"that's not a new word and do not use that word."

That's a better story.

(Music) We just got here.

And it looks like we're not allowed to swim.

So...dodged a bit of a bullet.

It doesn't look very clean.

But this is Hampstead Heath.

It's a very popular park here in London.

I guess we'll hang out here for a little bit and then we're going to head back home.

(Music) We are now on our way home.

Thank you so much for watching.

Arsenal transfer news: Riyad Mahrez is 'tired of waiting for Barcelona' and is set to agree £35million Gunners move

RIYAD MAHREZ is set to agree a £35million move to Arsenal after growing tired of pursuing a move to Barcelona.

The winger rocked Leicester this summer by saying he wanted to leave The Foxes as he wants to play Champions League every year.

Riyad Mahrez is believed to have grown tired of waiting for a Barcelona bid and could move to Arsenal instead.

But so far bids havent been as forthcoming as the Algerian might have hoped, especially as it is believed he had his heart set on a move to Barcelona.

But the Catalan giants are believed to have a number of players who are a higher priority than Mahrez, including Paris Saint-Germains Marco Verratti and Arsenals Hector Bellerin.

And Spanish news website Sport has reported that Mahrez has given up waiting for Barcelona to table an offer, and is interested in the four year deal that Arsenal are offering.

The Algerian, 26, was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates last summer after helping Leicester to an unlikely Premier League win.

Riyad Mahrez told Leicester he wants to play Champions League football – so a move to Arsenal is perhaps strange.

Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be looking at the former Le Havre player but he wants to link up with Wenger. The Gunners will have to fork out at least £35million for the attacker.

Mahrez's heroics in Leicesters title-winning season mean there would be a stunning profit on a player signed for just £400,000 from French side Le Havre in January 2014.

Arsene Wenger could be set for an overhaul of the Arsenal squad this summer. Barcelona were reportedly keen on the PFA Player of the Year last summer.

But after weeks of speculation that he was set for a move to the Gunners, he penned a new Foxes deal. Gunners boss Wenger has refused to deny he will not make another bid for Mahrez.

Mahrez released a a statement in May talking about the decision he had taken to leave Leicester.

He said: "Out of the huge admiration and respect I hold for Leicester City Football Club I wanted to be totally honest and transparent with them and have therefore informed the club that I feel now is the time for me to move on.

Leicester star Riyad Mahrez collects African Footballer of the Year award in Nigeria.

Riyad Mahrez was part of the Leicester team that shocked the world of football by winning the 2015/16 Premier League title.

"I had a good discussion with the chairman last summer and we agreed at that time that I would stay for another year in order to help the club as best as I could following the transition of winning the title and in the Champions League.

However, I am fiercely ambitious and feel that now is the time to move on to a new experience.

Ive always enjoyed a good relationship with the chairman and everyone at the club, and I hope I have been able to repay the faith shown to me by my performances and commitment on the pitch during my time here.

The season after the title triumph wasnt quite as productive for the Algerian winger at the Foxes. Ive had the four best seasons of my career at Leicester and have loved every moment.

I feel immense pride to have been a part of what we have achieved during my time at the club, culminating in becoming Premier League Champions.

The relationship I share with the club and our amazing fans is something I will treasure forever and I truly hope they will understand and respect my decision.

The obvious is not always obvious - Duration: 1:31.

The obvious is not always obvious

My name is Caron.

34 years old.

From Gouda.

What do you run into?

I have made a schedule with the garbage collection times.

For my girlfriend and for myself in Gouda.

Eventually I looked it up.

Or actually, I tried to find it at Gouda myself.

On the municipality website.

For sure you'll be able to find it on the website.

But not in an obvious way for me.

I'm a littlebit lost.

Waste calendar.

That.

Gouda.

Oh you cannot click on that.

But via Google, I succeeded.

So Google is very useful.

Strange that I was not able to find it on the municipality website.

The conclusion is that it could be much easier.

You can walk a much shorter road.

That should also be clear to me.

To more people I think.

I would say the internet needs navigation.

So you see: the obvious is not always obvious.

How the cloud is revolutionising journalism - Duration: 1:30.

The only way that this is really going to have a breakthrough moment

is if we can bring people who are doing this successfully together to share how they do it,

what apps they use, what hardware they use, and to share their stories,

and Mojocon was born.

We can't store everything on our devices.

We've got to get out of that idea of having a device that, you know, SD cards and things like that.

We've going to get rid of that idea because you can break an SD card and lose a week's worth of work.

Although I was in New York by myself, filming in Times Square, I was able then to go back to my hotel room,

upload the footage to Dropbox.

It was really fantastic to leave New York, knowing that we had the scene in the bag.

One of the nicest features about Dropbox is the auto sync.

Simplicity is of the essence if you actually want to make a deliverable, something that they will use.

I've got opportunities now to collaborate with other people, really exciting for going forward.

When I send a piece of material out of a country,

it's not just going to one person, but the dozens of people in different parts of my organization

can get hold of that material and start processing it in the way that they want, at any time that they want.
