Ivanka Trump Is Moving to Washington, D.C. – and She'll Have the Obamas for Neighbors

Ivanka Trump has made her upcoming move to Washington, D.C., official by purchasing a mansion in the nation's capital.

As her father prepares to move into the White House, Trump, her husband, Jared Kushner,

and their three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore, will be following him to the nation's capital.

Washington Fine Properties agent William F.X. Moody confirmed the move to The Washingtonian,

telling the magazine that Trump had finished off a deal for a 6 bedroom, $5.5 millon D.C. house.

The Kushner family will be moving to Kalorama, the same D.C. neighborhood that

the Obamas are planning to move to after they leave the White House. The two families will live less than two blocks apart.

Last month, PEOPLE reported that Trump and Kushner were planning a move to Washington.

Though Trump still does not plan to take on a formal job in her father's administration,

she does hope to have influence in the policy areas she's passionate about, like maternity leave and child care for working mothers.

"Everyone is adjusting to these new circumstances during the transition period,

and while Ivanka has no intention of taking a formal role in the administration,

she plans to be an advocate for issues she cares deeply about," a source close to Ivanka tells PEOPLE.

However, there's widespread speculation that Kushner, a close adviser during his father-in-law's campaign, could be taking a position in the Trump White House.

Whatever formal roles they do or don't take in the new president's administration,

Trump and Kushner will clearly be a presence in D.C. in 2017.

and now i'm using them chocolate so they

bronzer as an eyeshadow to create

natural natural shadows and you guys

know me the best that i use for blending

is a 217 brush from Mac

ok and now i'm using the mario palette

and the call that i'm using on her right

now is the bronx which is a Goldie

Goldie green really really pretty

resettle we don't see much better it

looks really natural interaction and on

the late i also add some of the Fifth

Avenue color from the same palette by

your comet and in a corner i'm using the

hollywood now i'm using a good steak

mitali mad and pencil in the color is

tara i love that now that I'm brought

this really really amazing and then when

I set them when i use the powder on top

I smudge it out looks really really

natural and i'm using this tag pencil

from urban decay and to finish off her I

i am using that Marc Jacob little bit

more mascara so far this masket is the

best in terms of a long-wearing what

else it is

yes my lashes are really hard to set so

this one helps to set them actually

pretty well now i'm doing contour with

the associate palette and it's the

medium to 10 12 contour kit

and the color that i use on her

is it doesn't see the contour that I do

on her it's more like a of bronze a

bronzy contour i'm not a big fan of a

really precise contour you those cut

contrary I don't like it much so like

that i want all blend it looks more

natural

ok and now we're gonna go back to the

brow i'm using that Anastasia brow Wiz

the color is medium brown and for brows

i always start with the bottom part

bottom line first and then i'm creating

the upper mine so how I browse a then

but I told her it would look better if

we can little bit just move it but we

still want something natural and I'm

sure you right now that the last part of

the brow is a smaller triangle the first

portion of the ballots and along in them

the triangle and the last part it's a

smaller triangle now i'm using the gimme

brow from benefit and all of because the

brush is amazing you want to be precise

it's small enough to go anywhere and the

color is a little color it's a number is

the number five so its darkest one

moment i'm fixing the bottom part of the

from Mac now we move on to the other

lower line again

it's very important when your natural

eyebrows and don't have like a pretty

shape you want to reshape them so when

you use a pencil or user something to do

different line to make it look better

I like this side better and obviously we

don't have twins eyebrows right using

the gimme brow again to give more

texture to look follow

color from the mire palette again on the

brawn and because i noticed that it

wasn't showing much not highlighting

My name is Christina de Leon,

and I am bisexual.

There's this show called "The hundred"

on the CW, they this year killed their

lead lesbian character who was named Alexa.

The importance of that character

resonated massively with so many people

online that they actually started a

fundraiser for people who are affected

by the death of the character.

In the episode she has sex with a woman and in

the very next scene is shot

by like her father figure.

This television character

meant so much to so many people and in

particular girls

young girls across the

nation that a group of them started like

donation box to "The Trevor Project" and

and they raised to this day I think the

number is a 162,000 dollars

in the name of this one

character and I think that's incredible.

And I feel so proud of those young girls

and most of them are still in high

school and they probably did it

I mean I don't want to speak

for anyone, but they

probably did it in secret no one in

their life knows.

And they they did it

through tumblr

they did it in their tumblr community

and I found that to be incredible.

And it just made me so happy

to see that they are trying to help each

other because no one else will.

And I think that's beautiful.

When my girlfriend and I were looking

for our first apartment together, there

was this one apartment that we really

love that was in an area of the

neighborhood that we really loved.

The landlord or manager was

showing us the apartment.

I could see him trying to

figure out why we were looking for a one

bedroom and I had watched many managers

do the same thing for a few days.

It was awkward and I felt weird and I

imagine that most of it was in my head

with with the other managers, but with

this one in particular,

he straight out asked us

if we will be sharing the apartment

and then we said, "yes"

and then he said, "you'll be sharing the room?"

and we said, "yes."

and he gave us this look

that was just disapproving.

Thankfully that's where it ended,

he gave us the paperwork like reluctantly.

We really wanted the apartment

you know we called and called

and he never got back to us and we just

knew that it was because we would be

living together and because

we were in a relationship.

Thankfully that's the worst it's ever

gotten for me, but even that sent me into

a sort of spiral because it was a

reminder that even in Los aAngeles

where it's supposed to be safe

there are still these people

who have these opinions and

who will not give you an apartment

even though you've been with your girlfriend

for at that point four years,

which is more than a lot of other people.

The way that I had to pull

myself out of that was,

and I hate this,

but to turn the other cheek.

I hate doing it but if I don't,

I would be a miserable person.

Anytime as something as little as that

happens to me, I get fired up

because I want to correct that behavior in someone.

It sucks to hear, but you have to

turn the other cheek to survive.

There was a period of time

before I was with my girlfriend,

there was something stopping

us from being together.

It was the worst year of my life

and toward the end it

got to be so difficult that I couldn't

even hold it together in front of my

parents which is a problem because I was

living in their house.

And so my dad came home from work

I was in a really pissy mood

mood and I usually am when I'm living in

my parents house.

He sort of chalked it up to that

just another one of my moods.

And it wasn't until I started crying that he

understood what was happening.

And they had known about my girlfriend and that

they had known that I wanted to be with her and

they had known that we couldn't be together.

So he just knew

and he hugged me

which I don't usually do with my dad.

And he just said, "you really love her don't you?"

And until this moment he hadn't said

much about her not because he was

disapproving at all

but that was the one thing that sort of

allowed me to place a trust in in him

was him acknowledging

that I I could love her so much.

And in that moment

I just felt like incredibly safe.

And he didn't say anything after

that I just felt like everything was fine,

everything would be okay.

I would say know who you are,

don't let anyone try and change that.

Find a safe space even if it is online,

there's no shame in that,

just find a safe space for you to be

100-percent yourself.

And also please write,

write about it and tell your

stories that you know in any form

in a play

and in a song

in film

in a fanfiction

just these stories need to be told

and I think that you are the right

person to tell them.

Anyone who has a problem with sexuality

should understand or sexuality

that is not heterosexual

should understand that there's

nothing that you can do about it.

Because that's who this person is,

that's who I am

that's who we are

that's who these people are.

At the core they will still be that same person

and that same thing that you don't like

about them will still be there.

You're spending all this time and energy

you know being so full of hate.

I think if you make an effort to

understand just an effort gradually

whatever it is fear or hatred will go

away but it is your decision

to try and understand.

You have to take the first step.

Huawei Mate 9 Nillkin Frosted Shield Case Review - Duration: 5:59.

hi everyone this is tech zilla back again

with some more reviews this time i've got

some cases in for the huawei mate nine

very very new device very difficult to

get cases for it and I'm just going to

do one case per review this one's very

thin case i'll be reviewing that shortly

you can see that and obviously when I

review i will leave links i have a clear case on the

phone already very very nice case this

one really nice i've got this case which

is very similar to spigen cases and

I've got a case from Nillkin again a

very slim case so i'll review this one

what's included frosted shield x 1 x

clear screen protector x 1 super fine

fiber screen cloth ok and i'm just going

to be reviewing the actual case for this

a lot of you have heard of Nillkin already

quite a big brand so let's get this out

i haven't actually used the case yet so lets

quickly check out the screen protector as well as

well have a look while we're here

and nothing special really it looks like a bog

standard plastic screen protector by the looks of it

the phone already comes with one on no

point changing for another plastic one

you get this card that's for hundred

percent satisfaction guarantee

and of course i'll be leaving a link in

description down below where i bought

this case from so it's a very slim case

lets give it a quick wipe down a hardshell case very

smooth on the inside so it won't scratch the

back of your device up very very simple

I've had Nillkin cases before for other

devices and the back has a nice sort of

pattern gives the phone a good bit of grip so let

me just give my phone a quick wipe-down good

plastic screen protector suck when it

comes to grease on the screen so

straightforward put it in there

press down on the edge done and look at

that perfect cutouts on there so you got a

microphone cut out there flash laser

autofocus the cut out for the home button

it's a beautiful cutout for the camera as

you can see it will stop the

camera touching the surface so if i put it

this way down that's all case touching

there's no camera lens is not touching

at all you got Nillkin branding here and

i'll try and bring this in closer can you see

that pattern on the back

the raised pattern that gives it a nice

bit of grip to this case very nice gives it a

more sturdy feel when holding it

this side you got your cutouts for the

power button and volume rocker very

nicely done

the top is open but there's a little

divot there for the headphone jack theres

your IR blaster but it is slightly

raised above the top of the phone so it

does give it a tiny bit of protection

not a lot but a tiny bit bottom is

completely open again with another divot

there nice cutout for any charging

cable you want to put in there will fit

again it's got a slightly raised up

portion along there so again it adds a

little bit of protection lay on the

table design virtually none i mean we're

talking millimeters not even a millimeters

worth and you can see that its tiny tiny

with a plastic screen protector

on it keeps the phone raised off the

table and lets have a look at the power button yep it

works no problem at all really

simple case it's a big phone remember

guys so if you're looking for slim case

you don't want to make the phone too big i

highly recommend this one it's a nice

case it's good value for money I think

about seven pounds something like that

and that's with a screen protector so

really really nice
