We now seek God's mercy for the times

and after He had sat down, His disciples came to Him.

He began to teach them, saying,

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,

"Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.

"for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

"Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you

"and utter every word of evil

"against you falsely because of me.

"Rejoice and be glad,

"for your reward will be great in heaven."

The gospel of the Lord.

- [Congregation] Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

- We have to ask ourselves, what is the good life

that God intends for us?

Is it not a desire and a longing of true happiness?

And Jesus addresses this question

in the sermon on the mount.

This is hearing the heart of Jesus's message

that we can live a very happy life in this kingdom.

The call to holiness which we all are,

call to holiness through the baptism,

we're called to the sainthood,

though we might not strive

or we might not meet it at certain points in our lives

but we are called to live holy and saintly lives

as to pursue God's will in our lives.

And that can be found in the eight beatitudes

of how to do it.

It's the prescription of what we should do

in order to attain that holiness.

It is also the fulfillment, if you really look at it,

of the commandments given to us.

The commandments of the Old Testament and Hebrew scriptures

as now fulfilled and what we would actually could even say

are the commandments of the ways to live

through the beatitudes,

and that goes hand in hand with the corporal

and spiritual works of mercy

that God has given us specific ways to live our lives.

The beatitudes which Jesus offers us

could be a sign of contradiction

in the world today, couldn't it?

Of not understanding what real happiness and joy is.

How can one possibly find happiness

in poverty, hunger, mourning, and persecution?

Well, through those times, through each

and those who come to help,

through our ministry, our mission,

and being there to support one another

and help one another,

that our needs are gonna be present to someone in need,

to be present for someone who is struggling to be helpful

and to care for the poor and the sick and the suffering.

We unite ourselves with them by being present

and we become witnesses of Jesus Christ

and that's how we live out these things

because when we do those acts,

we are doing what God is asking us to do.

We're not doing it because we want the affirmation.

We're not doing it because we seek something for it.

We do this because it's the way we've been called to live.

Are we living according to God's intention for us?

To care for one another?

To care for those in need?

To care for ourselves and our own family members?

We bring this mass on television home to those who are sick

and unable to be with us in our communities.

Do we pray for those infirmed

and those suffering from terminal illness or just sick

so they can be united with their communities right now?

See, we are in co-union, communion with each other

through our baptism and through that,

we should live accordingly, especially to the beatitudes.

That's the prescription that Jesus gives us

and he tells us when to do it and how to do it.

Please stand.

- [All] I believe in God, the Father Almighty,

Creator of Heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

And last week, rumours surfaced that the stylish couple may be expecting twins.

At the airport too, 38-year-old Amal was spotted wearing loose clothing.

Elegant as usual, she sported a grey baggy sweater underneath a heavy beige-hued coat

as she strutted down the airport.

She had her wavy locks loose, and teamed her casual attire with a black pageboy cap.

The A-lister's wife had sparked baby rumours a few weeks ago when she seemingly showed

signs of a baby bump at a London event.

Amal was pictured in a loose fitting floral dress as she attended The White Helmets screening

on 9 January.

Alex Jones confirms birth of child live on TV's The One Show

"Amal is pregnant with twins: a boy and a girl.

When Amal and George found out it was twins, they were surprised, but also a little scared

because they both had said that one was enough," InTouch Weekly claimed, which was further

supported by another report by The Lebanon Daily Star.

USMC Body Composition Program – Self-Tensioning Taping Device Usage - Duration: 3:23.

Using the self-tensioning taping devices.

If a Marine requires taping, circumferences will be measured using a self-tensioning taping

device.

Either digital or nondigital for those who require body fat estimation.

Examples of these devices can be found at http://fitness.usmc.mil Taping directions

for both male and female Marines can be found in Marine Corps Order 6110.3, Marine Corps

body composition program.

Taping Male Marines.

A confirmation height, weight measurement will be performed prior to conducting the

evaluation.

Body composition will be estimated using the circumference-based method.

No substitute body composition evaluation methods are permitted.

All measurements will be taken on bare skin.

The only exception being the female hip measurement.

Using the self-tensioning device, the evaluator will measure Marines at the gender-specific

sites.

The evaluator will measure Marines by standing to the right of the Marine being measured.

Pull the end of the tape around the body part being measured.

Place the rod at the end of the tape into the circular slot.

Press the button in the center and let the tape retract to a snug fit.

Read and record your measurement on the outer edge of the tape measure, or as indicated

with the digital model.

Measurements for male Marines will be taken along the neck and abdominal circumference

at the navel.

Measure the neck's circumference by placing the curved portion of the self-tensioning

device on the right neck muscle, so that the taping device conforms to the natural curvature

of the neck muscle.

The tape will cross the bottom of the larynx, and perpendicular to the long axis of the

neck.

The Marine should look straight ahead during the measurement with shoulders down, not hunched.

For neck measurements, round up to the nearest half inch and record.

Measure the abdominal circumference by placing the curved portion of the self-tensioning

taping device on the right side of the Marine's abdomen.

The tape will cross the center of the navel and be parallel to the deck.

Arms will be straight and relaxed at the sides.

Take measurement at the end of the Marine's normal, relaxed exhalation.

For abdominal measurements, round down to the nearest half inch and record.

The circumference value is calculated by subtracting the neck from the abdominal measurement.

Male body fat percentages can be derived utilizing the enclosure in the Marine Corps order.
