National Disaster Medical System getting fitted for respirators - Duration: 0:34.

HI I'm Joni Geels from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

What you see happening behind me right now is doctors, nurses and other medical personnel

from our National Disaster Medical System, getting fitted for respirators for when they

go out to help with the recovery and response for Hurricane Harvey.

What they're doing right now is trying on two different masks in seven minute tests.

They'll do regular breathing, deep breathing and simulate some of the movements that they

might do while they're providing medical care.

We make sure that these masks fit, so that when our doctors and nurses are out in the

field helping after a disaster they are safe and protected.

Subaru Forester gets a tweak or two for 2016 - Duration: 3:38.

Subaru Forester gets a tweak or two for 2016

Subaru's boxy boxer-engined Forester SUV has been given a minor brush-up for 2016. That includes a few (very) subtle tweakettes to the exterior and interior, along with some hidden changes under the surface. Just to check, then – what's actually changed?.

Starting on the outside: the grille gets new, slightly different chrome blades sprouting from the badge in the centre, and the front bumper's gained a touch more chrome too.

The headlight units now have a more modern-looking black finish inside, and have gained a new steering-responsive system where selected LED lamps now swivel with the steering to help illuminate unlit roads. The tail-lights have new LED lamps, too.

Inside, a few of the Forester's heavy-duty plastics have been swapped for soft-touch surfaces – no bad thing – and there's more gloss black and metallic trim, plus a few new seat upholstery options, including an optional brown leather finish.

What about the bits you can't see?. Headline changes are a slightly different suspension tuning, with smoother ride quality the aim, and a faster steering ratio (altered from 15. 5:1 to 140:1) for keener response.

There's a whole lot of extra soundproofing too, with thicker glass for the door windows and front quarter lights along with new seals to dampen down wind noise.

There's extra soundproofing material around the dashboard too, at the base of the windscreen and front passenger footwell, to help mask engine noise. Hasn't the Forester just been updated anyway?.

The Subaru Forester was given a minor overhaul for the 2015 model year, including a new 7in touchscreen multimedia system. You can read CAR's online review of the 2015 Subaru Forester here.

When does the 2016 Subaru Forester go on sale in the UK?. April 2016, with prices unchanged from before. The range starts from £25,495 for the 20-litre petrol Forester in base XE trim, topping out at £30,995 for the flagship turbo model.

All models get all-wheel drive and 20-litre boxer engines. The engine range is unchanged, comprising a 148bhp naturally aspirated petrol, a 238bhp turbocharged petrol and a 145bhp turbodiesel. .

Trump doubles down on call for GOP senators to nix filibuster - Duration: 3:40.

Trump doubles down on call for GOP senators to nix filibuster

President Donald Trump on Friday once again renewed his call for the Senate to do away with the legislative filibuster, a step Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has vowed never to take.

"If Senate Republicans don't get rid of the Filibuster Rule and go to a 51% majority, few bills will be passed. 8 Dems control the Senate!" Trump wrote on Twitter Friday morning.

Frustrated by Senate Democrats' ability to throw up roadblocks in front of his legislative agenda, Trump has regularly called on McConnell to undo the chamber's filibuster rules and allow bills to pass with a simple majority instead of the 60-vote threshold currently required for most legislation.

But Republicans have struggled thus far into Trump's administration to collect even 51 votes on some key issues, including on legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, which failed to clear the simple majority threshold earlier this summer, at least temporarily stalling one of the president's top priorities.

McConnell has been emphatic in his position that he will not remove the 60-vote threshold for pieces of legislation, a step that both he and former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid have previously taken on confirmation votes for judicial nominees.

"Theres not a single senator in the majority who thinks we ought to change the legislative filibuster. Not one," McConnell said last April.

Asked if that meant he would not alter the filibuster rule during his tenure as majority leader, McConnell replied, "Correct.

In another pair of tweets Friday morning, the president also touted his administration's successes and praised his new chief of staff, John Kelly. Trump also seemingly sought to quell any rumors of discontent within the White House.

"General John Kelly is doing a fantastic job as Chief of Staff. There is tremendous spirit and talent in the W.H. Don't believe the Fake News," Trump wrote online.

"Few, if any, Administrations have done more in just 7 months than the Trump A.

Bills passed, regulations killed, border, military, ISIS, SC!" he added minutes later, using abbreviations to celebrate the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court and military progress against Islamic State militants.

Using Google Docs for Note Taking - Duration: 3:35.

Hi everyone so I just wanted to quickly show you everyone so you how our module notes are

going to work so I'm just here in August 28th and I'm going to select module 1 notes and

that will bring me into our topics reading videos assignments but what I really wanted

to show you is the material covered so I've done this for you in a Google doc so what

will happen you'll come to this page but yours will look a little different because you actually

won't be able to edit this version I'm the owner so I can edit it I want to show you

that in a minute so I'm the owner so I can edit it, so yours won't look quite like this

but what you'll do is go up to file here in the corner select that and go ahead and go

down to make a copy now if you're not interested in working in Google Docs that's totally fine

stop the video right now just go to download as and you can download it as a Microsoft

Word PDF plain text so whatever works best for you that is an option but I'm going to

show more about Google Docs let's go with that so you'll select make a copy and feel

free to name it whatever you'd like and I highly suggest that you make a folder so as

you can see here I have a folder called CTVA-362 lecture notes so that's the one it's already

in but if it weren't that's what I would select and then I just go ahead and add it to that

folder you can also create a new folder if you don't have one yet I highly suggest that

you do keep these in a folder so you can reference them later.

Okay and I'm just going to go ahead and say okay and I'll create my new Google doc so

this is one that you can actually feel free to edit so something really neat I put headers

on all of these these purple and blue headers they see the ones that are little bit larger

so you can actually go to tools and say document outline go ahead and select that and you can

see that it creates this table of contents on the left hand side here for you so you

can actually Jump Around content when you want to come back here to study okay so another

thing about your notes I'm going to go ahead and close that outline another thing about

your notes you have some bullet points so feel free to type in here, so more examples

so that can be any notes you take in class.

Another option is if you highlight some text you can also add a comment.

So you can say "Wow I need to remember this for the test... winky face.

So when I comment that I am going to see my date stamp and I can actually edit back to

myself so I can edit it if I find something wrong with it, okay I am going to go ahead

and cancel that, or I can reply to myself so I can say "Also don't forget page 22" and

I can reply there.

So these could be notes to myself where this could be this section would be more for outlining

content.

Okay great that is a little more about Google docs I hope you found it useful if you have

any more questions feel free to ask me.

Beyonce 'in talks' to sing new James Bond theme song scheduled for release in 2019 - Duration: 2:29.

Multi-award winning megastar Beyonce is being hotly tipped to perform on the next James Bond theme song after producers demanded a fresh boost to the franchise.

The past two themes (Skyfall and Spectre) have been sung by British singers Sam Smith and Adele to much critical acclaim and now bosses have decided only a hit from Queen B can match the recent record.

The Bond 25 project is set for release in November 2019 and is said to come at an ideal time for the mother-of-three who who recently released the album Lemonade to a rapturous reception.

A Daily Star source close to Beyoncé, 35, revealed: This is the only project she is remotely interested in right now.

The source added: The two spoke before Beys first meeting with film bosses and Adele told her how co-writing and performing a Bond theme gave her an amazing career hike.

Not many of the themes have been as successful – but there are tens of millions of Beyoncé fans out there.

Beyonce - who is married to Jay Z - welcomed twins Sir and Rumi in June and is also mother to five-year-old Blue Ivy. MailOnline have contacted Beyonce for comment.

Female solo singers have had a golden track record when it comes to Bond with Shirley Bassey, alongside Adele, putting their names to classic theme songs. Shirley, now 80, recorded 1964's Goldfinger, 1971's Diamonds Are Forever and 1979's Moonraker.

The first two widely considered to be among the best songs among the franchise. Daniel performed a dramatic twist by confirming he would reprise his role as 007 - following reports that he was offered $135million (£100million) to return.

It was a very rapid U-turn on the part of the 49-year-old, whose most recent appearance as the British spy was in 2015s Spectre.

Craig, who is the second longest serving Bond after Roger Moore, previously suggested he was done with the franchise after his fourth appearance as the iconic spy in Spectre.

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, he was asked if he would be playing the iconic role for a fifth time. I couldnt be happier. Ive been quite cagey about it.

Ive been doing interviews about it all day and people have been asking me and Ive been kind of coy but I kind of felt like, if I was going to speak the truth, I should speak the truth to you.

The star admitted he always wanted to return to the role, but confirmed the next Bond movie will be his last.
