Then your resolve will get accomplished!
No 3. There must be hope of gain and happiness when it is attained.
If I get this, then I will be very happy.
I will gain so much. I will become happy.
Without that feeling,
If not in worldly matters, then in the spiritual field!
No 4. It should be attainable.
If you say that I resolve that the moon should be in my hand.
The moon has an existence.
And the hand too exists.
So the first point is satisfied in this resolve.
Second, see something special and its attraction,
No one has it and it will be just in my hand.
You are special, and so is the moon.
So the second point is also covered.
Third point - I will benefit if I attain it.
That is your expectation
So even the third point is satisfied.
But the fourth, it is not possible to attain it.
Then this resolve will not remain firm.
Whether it is the resolve to end transmigration
Or the resolve of self-realisation,
Or a resolve to purchase a specific model of a car,
Or the resolve of buying a watch,
It should be attainable.
Even though it may be difficult to attain.
It may be through hard work.
But it must be such that it can be attained.
Right now, you may say it is not possible to attain Omniscience.
So why work for it.
When did I ask you to work for Omniscience?
Self-realisation is possible. For that, it is the best time.
It is a good time.
So when talking about self-realisation, you will experience a force.
The moment I say Omniscience, you will say
In the next life, if I take birth in the Mahavideha.
Else here, nothing is possible.
If you have it in your mind that it is not attainable,
You will not resolve.
And even if you make a resolve, you will not get the impetus.
And lastly,
No. 5. You should get identified with it.
