While its hard to imagine any other group performing Ko Ko Bop as well as EXO, the song was actually written with another group in mind.

EXOs most recent title song, Ko Ko Bop, was written with plans to be performed by a female group, but Lee Soo Man decided to give it to EXO instead!.

The demo of the song was set to a higher key and was meant to be sung comfortably by a female singer. Stylaz Fuego, who produced the song, explained his thoughts of what the completed song was supposed to look like.

I dont think it was ever for EXO — I think it was more for a female group. Shaylen [Carroll, co-producer] did the demo.

When they did the playback for everyone at SM, [we thought] they would essentially understand this is for one of the girl groups..

Lee Soo Man decided, in the end, to lower the key of the song slightly and give it to EXO instead, and it still works perfectly!.

The first track on EXOs The War was also originally supposed to belong to Henry until Lee Soo Man decided it suited EXO more.

That's according to The Transfer Window podcast guest Ian McGarry. Rose kicked up a stink earlier this month over his earnings at Spurs, the quality of players being signed by the club, and his desire to play up north before he retires.

Manchester United were interested in a deal but Starsport understands they've since pulled the plug. Chelsea are also keen, and McGarry says Rose could yet end up at Stamford Bridge. "(Chelsea) could still get Danny Rose," he said.

But City boss Pep Guardiola remains determined to land Evans and has instructed clubs bosses to go back in for him. Baggies boss Tony Pulis admits his club could be left with no choice but to cash-in on Evans.

But the Baggies are believed to want in the region of £25m and it remains to be seen they will accept a lesser offer. Guardiola wants to add another defender to his squad before the transfer window closes next week.

But the arrival of former Manchester United star Evans could depend on what happens with French outcast Eliaquim Mangala. Guardiola has been keen to sell Mangala to the highest bidder and get him off the clubs wage bill.

Inter Milan have shown strong interest in the centre-half, but have been unable to agree a fee with City. The Italian outfit would prefer to sign Mangala on a season-long loan deal with a view to making the move permanent next summer.

"For sure Philippe Coutinho is being told by Barcelona, that they'll come back with another bid that will be for €150m (£138m).

"Albeit with not all of that up front, but with €110m (£101m) guaranteed, which is still an incredible sum. "A record transfer fee for Barcelona, a record fee for a player leaving the Premier League.

"If that doesn't work, you go to the next stage of the handbook which is to either give an interview or press conference talking about leaving.". Fellow guest on the podcast, Ian McGarry, doubts Coutinho will leave this summer.

What would be great, though, is some sort of regulation like what we have in Japan that

is reasonable, that takes into account the newness of the industry, that not all things

are known, things are still evolving.

And it allows businesses to participate in this space without fear of what the outcome

might be from the regulator.

We just saw this report from the SEC that they've determined the DAO is a security,

but they give us no clarity on any of the other 800-plus tokens that are out there,

right?

So what are we to think of those when we have to make our own individual determination one

company at a time by themselves on each one of these coins?

Do we think that this is going to be a security?

And we might make different determinations.

It might be a security today, and they change something with the protocol or the way they're

marketing it, and it's not a security tomorrow, or vice versa.

So it's extremely hard to keep up, extremely hard to understand all these things.

And I think that the regulators, the case of the SEC specifically, the DAO token was

a token on the Ethereum network.

And you can turn off exchanges like Kraken.

We can remove DAO from the United States users' accounts and say you can't trade that token.

But that doesn't stop holders of the DAO in the United States from trading through one

of the decentralized exchanges, right?

And there are more and more of these appearing every day.

And what do you do about that?

That genie is out of the bottle, right?

There's not going to be any stopping that.

So I think the SEC and other regulators need to decide do they want to have some control

over the system or zero control.

And if you turn off exchanges like Kraken, basically, it's just going to go to a distributed

exchange.

And there you have zero control.

So it really is going to change the paradigm.

I think regulators, for a while, at least in the United States, it seems like they're

going to continue to tighten their grip.

And in the long-term, they're going to have to loosen up a lot to regain some of that

control because they're going to see that they lose it to the market and to these decentralized

exchanges.

Cyrus is set to perform her latest single Younger Now—the one she released a puppet-filled video for earlier in the month—but MTV has reportedly given her an entire minute before the song to do with as she pleases.

Or at least as her team pleases.

As per Page Six, Diane Martel, the legendary music video director behind the Younger Now clip, is pulling double duty as Cyruss creative director and wants the star to use the minute to host a raunchy puppet show (because, as RuPaul will tell you, everybody loves puppets).

There was talk of a puppet orgy, as well as an idea where one puppet sniffs Miley's privates after she makes a joke about keeping it clean down there," reports the gossip column.

Apparently this would all serve to remind us of Cyruss puppet chops. Martel, however, apparently thinks Cyruss manager Adam Leber has different designs.

Per the sources, she thinks he wants Cyrus to diss President Donald Trump merely to make headlines. This would jibe with the nights inevitable theme of dissing people merely to make headlines (ahem, Katy and Taylor).

Martel however released a statement to Page Six (we assume through text message) denying any strife, writing, No friction! Excitement! Mileys number will be sunrising and emotional, her new some [sic] younger Now is beautiful and contemplative and self written.

Earlier in the week, Variety reported that plans for the entire show are still very much up in the air all around.

Executive producer Garrett English emphasized how fluid the schedule of the show would be until Sunday, reported the trade publication. According to English, dress rehearsals will continue until moments before the show goes live..

Ousmane Dembele: Barcelona have signed the France star. Dembele has moved to the Nou Camp to become Neymars replacement. Paris St-Germain snapped up the Brazilian earlier this summer and Barcelona have been shopping for his replacement ever since.

And theyve now secured a deal for French winger Dembele, 20. Barca have paid an initial €105m (£96m) for the player, with that figure to rise if add-ons are triggered.

After being caught by PSGs willingness to pay Neymars €222m (£198m) release clause, the Spanish side have set Dembeles release clause at a whopping €400m (£368m).

Dembele has signed a five-year deal with the club. Barcelona say the star winger will arrive in the city on Sunday before undergoing a medical on Monday. Official confirmation is then expected later that day or on Tuesday.

When the transfer is completed, Dembele will become the second-most expensive player of all time, behind ex-Nou Camp hero Neymar. Before this summer the previous record transfer fee was the £89m Manchester United paid Juventus for Paul Pogba 12 months ago.

Dembele joined Dortmund in May 2016 from Rennes on a five-year contract and has attracted top European suitors after a breakout season in Germany.

He scored 10 times in 49 appearances in all competitions during the last campaign, while he broke his duck for France with the winner in the 3-2 friendly triumph over England in June.
