We happen to be in Badger, California—New Braj—right now.

Every night this week we've been watching videos of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja. And the reaction, of myself and the audience, is so profound.

It reminds me how magical he is.
I mean, he didn't look like an ordinary person or move like an ordinary person.
It's like having darshan of Gurudeva again.
To watch him and watch his movements, and his smile.
And to feel like you're actually just sitting right in front of him.
I am present again with him. I am with him.
I am experiencing his association very directly.
And Yashoda, for Yashoda He used His whole power.
And he caught hold of her very tightly with his mouth, his hands, his feet, everything.
Like this. But Yashoda told, "Oh! Be here."
Video, audio… Direct hearing his voice. His voice is so strong and full of power.
The moods, the beauty of the instruction.
Luckily, although Gurudeva was never so much in favor of video…
Even during the first lectures, when devotees came with a video camera,
Srila Gurudeva said, "Take away this black box. It will cheat you."
He said, "You have to listen directly." But after some time we explained that this is for the future.
I never had so much extensive association with him, and when I watch the videos
I feel like it sheds light on how beautiful and sweet Gurudeva was with devotees.
When you're drying up in the west, and it's no association,
it's so easy to just go onto purebhakti.com and purebhakti.tv, and watch a Gurudeva lecture,
and get totally enlivened and feel like you're there with Gurudeva.

And what's yours? Purebhakti.tv
Isa Prabhu has made some of them into really small clips, and you get so much of Gurudeva's mood
and it's not long. It takes that long to read something.
Kadamba Ter, where Krishna used to take His flute and climb on the top of that tree and used to tell,
"Oh Shyamali. Gauri. Kalindi." Calling all the cows.
And sometimes at midnight: "Oh Radhike! Oh Lalite! Oh Vishake! Oh!"
Like this, calling. So this is called Kadamba Ter.
So (there were trees) everywhere, still now but so many have expired
from the separation of Krishna and Radhika.
What he has given in his lectures is like a precious wealth.
The video, the audio, the books: they are all meant to increase our desire
to have the personal association of such a great personality.
Sometimes I'm siting there thinking, I was there!
But I don't remember what he was saying. Then when I listen to the class,
what I heard in person, now I get to remember, really.
He has planted some seeds in your heart, in the form of his instructions.
Then when you think about these things, they start to germinate.
There are two places in Braja: Dig and Adig.
Dig is this place, and Adig is between Govardhan and Mathura.
"Dig." Because Krishna is the Supreme Lord. He is Lord of Lords.
He is <i>tri satya satyam satasya yoni satasya nihitam</i>. <i>Tri-satya</i>. Truth. It is translated as truth.
But when He comes in Braja, and especially with the gopis and with Srimati Radhika, the gopis handle Him from satya, truth.
So here, Krishna, being the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He lacked that truth that, "I'm God."
And He came to the lotus feet of Srimati Radhika. "I am not the Supreme Lord.
I am your das (servant)."
So this is what you can experience when you watch Gurudeva's videos.
I'm going to go on record now as recommending that not only should everyone get the full collection,
and of course watch them, but if you can, try to help.
I heard there are about six thousand videos that still need to be transcribed.
If anyone—any of you—are able to help and assist in this,
it would be so beneficial and so powerful.
Imagine having full access to all of Gurudeva's spoken words
on any subject to do with bhakti, at any moment.
And, if you can help the archives to create subtitles for the videos,
to help clean up the videos and to remove the background sound—the background noise—
so that the thing becomes a seamless flow of hari-katha.
So I request, please come and help us, and help you also.
That there's so much seva to be done and so much to be given out, and equally so much benefit… more than.
And I can't think of any greater service than to glorify Srila Gurudeva
by preserving his direct words without adulteration.
Just contact Madhavi or Narasimha. Discuss it with them, and they'll give you an assignment to do based on your talents and abilities.
So this is my earnest request to everybody. Everybody! Not only Gurudeva's disciples.
Yeah, I could easily transcribe one lecture within a year.
I hope I can just transcribe and help, and do anything, because I know how much I get from it,
so it's a great opportunity to keep giving forward… paying it forward.
And preserving Srila Gurudeva's legacy as well.
