Crochet Mindfulness for Good Mental Health - Tea with Shira #36 - Duration: 7:14.
>>You know there's this phrase, "mind numbingly boring."
You know?
Or mind-numbing repetition?
>>I can think of a few things that come to mind! (music) Hey everyone!
It's Shira!
I am in my corner and I am sitting with Tarz Palomba and she is a psychoanalyst.
I brought her on Tea with Shira because she has a very interesting, how would I say?
Way of kind of coming about knitting and crochet.
Right?
>>Yes.
>>We all, everyone that knits and crochets, you're crafty.
Some people do it because they love making things for people.
And some people actually do it for the meditative element.
And that's why you're here.
>>Yes.
What this is is taking knitting and crochet and bringing that mindfulness element to it.
And in that way, we can sort of slow down and be in the moment.
>>Yeah.
>>Yeah.
Well some people would say, "Ah!
Knitting, crochet.
It's mind-numbingly boring because it's so repetitious!"
Well, sometimes, mind numbing is something we want to do.
When you're in pain and you go to the doctor, what do they prescribe?
Something to numb the pain.
Well here's a tool we can use that actually does that.
>>Right.
>>And it's, you know, it's available to us without any health insurance.
>>Exactly!
Exactly.
>>Either knitting or crochet achieves this end and that is that it's bilateral stimulation
of the body.
And bilateral stimulation is thought to sort of break through some of the left-right issues
that we have in processing memory.
That can be very helpful with adverse experiences, with traumatic experiences, with worries.
That can be very helpful.
>>Yeah.
I actually think back to this one time in my life when I was going through a really,
really, really, really rough time.
And I was actually knitting a blanket for my niece.
She still uses it to this day but I was in the hospital and this was my saving grace.
You know?
It was what kept me kind of grounded in a way.
You know that just like I sat there and it was like just knitting back and forth.
I think it was a...I've actually, there is a link to this!
There is a baby blanket, I promise.
But it was one of my most favorite baby blanket patterns from Lion Brand and it just, it helped
me.
>>Well, it's interesting that you used the word "grounding" because it truly is grounding.
It brings you back into the body and your working memory is occupied.
So it interrupts a lot of the ruminative thoughts that we have and can help us to stop the cycle
of worry by, you know, having something else to focus on.
And being in the body.
>>Interesting.
So you had said something, I forgot the letters it was like, E?
E?
What was it?
>>EMDR.
>>EMDR and tell us what that stands for.
>>It stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing.
>>OK.
So explain that for everyone.
>>Yes, ok!
And it is a therapeutic technique that you use eye movement stimulation going back and
forth, the person looks back and forth.
OR!
Tactile stimulation, back and forth, to help the right and left brain connect and process
a, let's call it, frozen memory.
And very often what happens is that when we're traumatized, that's what PTSD is, we're traumatized.
That memory gets frozen and unprocessed in us and then we're doomed to repeat.
>>Just going in this spiral.
>>Yes.
>>So, Tarz, I was wondering if you could maybe show me some, some, how would I describe them?
>>Techniques?
>>Techniques.
That's a good one!
>>One of the most common ways to use a meditative technique is to go ahead and count your stitches.
And counting is like a mantra.
>>Interesting.
>>So that's one of the most simple ways to do that.
>>So just as you go, so as you go, just "one, two three."
Good way to not lose a stitch.
>>It's a very good way to not lose a stitch.
And people think of it as something that's very mundane but if you realize that, what
it is is it's engaging your mind with your hands, it's, and it's bringing your mind to
focus on something, it's like, you know the way people count sheep at night?
I was just about to ask and I didn't want to ask because I thought it was stupid.
>>It's not stupid at all!
And anybody can access that.
>>Right!
>>You know, they don't have to do any special techniques or anything.
>>You don't need to go see anyone.
You can just count.
>>Yeah.
>>How often do you recommend someone to practice this, to really feel the benefit of it.
>>Well, when you can.
Because like anyone else it should not be something that you stress over.
>>Of course.
>>Meditation is something that is a good idea to learn to do when you're not stressed out.
Same thing for a craft.
But if you are stressed out, you can still use it.
And most people recommend even meditating every day for a short period of time.
It would be ideal if someone had a few minutes every day to do their craft.
Not everybody can have that.
But the wonderful thing about crochet and knitting is that it's so portable!
>>It is.
>>It's so portable and accessible!
So you can have it in your bag and when you're sitting on the train, you can take it out,
when you go for a walk in the park and sit for a minute.
When you're waiting in the doctor's office.
There are so many places that you can just pull out your knitting and crochet.
>>I know!
So it's not, you don't have to like change your whole life and your way of life.
It's just taking, like you said, taking a moment.
>>Yes!
>>And appreciating what our hands can do and what our minds can do.
And taking those two things and almost giving our heart like a beat.
Literally.
>>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
>>Well thank you so much for coming and talking to us.
I feel so relaxed.
Bye everybody! >>Bye!
Hey everyone!
It's our last episode of the season.
I cant believe it.

Money Monday: Spring Cleaning For Your Finances - Duration: 6:46.
IT IS MONEY MONDAY.
AND WE'RE TALKING ABOUT SPRING
CLEANING.
NOT YOUR HOME BUT YOUR
FINANCIAL HOUSE.
AND HERE TO GIVE US TIPS IS ROB
WILSON OF WILSON INSIGHT.
I LOVE SPRING CLEANING, BUT NOT
ALWAYS THE FINANCIAL SIDE OF
THINGS.
I DON'T KNOW IF THE CLEANING
SIDE OF TERMS OF YOUR HOUSE IS
MY FIRST THING TO DO AT ALL.
BUT SPRING CLEANING NEWER YOUR
FINANCIAL HOUSE IT IS --
CLEANING FOR YOUR FINANCIAL
HOUSE IT IS AMAZING HOW IT HELP
PEOPLE GET A CLEAR MIND AND I
THINK IT IS A GREAT IDEA.
AND YOU HAVE SOME TIPS TO
MAKE IT EASY, STARTING WITH
GETTING ORGANIZED.
Reporter: IT SURPRISES ME
HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA
WHERE THEIR MONEY IS.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT
LUXURY TO FORGET THAT I HAVE
ACCOUNTS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY,
BUT I DON'T.
IF YOU HAVE A CHECKING ACCOUNT
FIND OUT WHERE THAT IS AND THAT
MAY MEAN MOVING ACCOUNTS TO A
DIFFERENT BANK OR USE MINTS.COM
AND YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING IN
ONE PLACE AND YOU DON'T FORGET
ABOUT THE BEINGS THAT YOU HAD A
LONG TIME AGO.
STATE, WE HAVE ALL OF THIS
MONEY THAT IS OWED TO PEOPLE
BUT THEY'RE NOT CLAIMING IT.
IT IS SHOCKING.
THAT SOMEONE SO IMPORTANT.
THEY COULD HAVE DONE SOME FUN
THINGS WITH THAT.
AND THE PHYSICAL ITEMS YOU
SHOULD CATALOG?
THINGS HAPPEN.
YOUR ITEMS MAY GET LOST OR
STOLEN.
SO YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE AN
ISSUE WITH INSURANCE COMPANY
WONDERING IF YOU HAD THE ITEMS.
SO ANYTIME YOU GET SOMETHING
BIG, A LAPTOP, A WATCH, SNAG
COSTS A SIGNIFICANT A MONEY,
TAKE A PHONE OUT AND SNAP A
PICTURE AND PUT IN YOUR PHONE
IF ANYTHING HAPPENS FOR IT AND
AS WELL.
AND THAT WAY IT WILL HELP IF
YOU HAVE TO REPORT IT STOLEN.
HOW ABOUT OUR FINANCIAL
PAPERS?
SHOULD WE GET RID OF IT ALL.
IF IT IS NOT GREEN, AND IT
DOESN'T HAVE A PRESIDENT ON THE
FRONT OF IT, GET RID OF IT.
YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR TAX
RETURNS FOR 7 YEARS.
YOU CAN DIGITIZE EVERYTHING
NOW.
THERE ARE SOME DOCUMENTS THAT
YOU NEED LIKE YOUR BIRTH
CERTIFICATE AND SOCIAL SECURITY
CARD.
SNAP A PICK PICTURE OF IT AND
CONVERT IT TO A PDS AND PUT IT
ON YOUR HARD DRIVE.
AND PASSWORDS.
THIS IS A BIG ISSUE.
THIS IS REALLY BIG.
YOU SEE A LOT OF THESE
COMPANIES EXPERIENCING DATA
BREACH.
YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ON THE BAD
END OF THAT.
SO I WITH SET A REMINDER IN
YOUR PHONE TO CHANGE YOUR
IMPORTANT PASSWORDS LIKE E-
MAIL, BANK ACCOUNTS EVERY SIX
MONTHS.
PASSWORD IS NOT A GOOD
PASSWORD.
SO LET'S GET A LITTLE MORE
SOPHISTICATED WITH THAT.
AND NOW WE GOT ORGANIZED AND
WE WANT TO TIDY UP CERTAIN
ITEMS STARTING WITH OUR CREDIT
REPORT?
YES WHEN PEOPLE USUALLY
THINK ABOUT THEIR CREDIT REPORT
WHEN THEY WANT TO BUY A HOUSE
OR CAR.
IT IS TOO LATE GO TO A SITE
CALLED CREDIT KARMA.COM AND A
FREE REPORT AND IT DOES NOT
HARM YOUR SCORE.
YOU CAN CHECK IT AS MUCH AS YOU
WANT AND IT WILL ALERT YOU IF
YOUR SCORE CHANGES.
THIS IS A GREAT TOOL TO DO IN
ADVANCE AND YOU'LL BE READY
WHEN YOU WANT TO BY SOMETHING
BIG LIKE A HOUSE OR CAR.
AND ESTATE PLAN SOMETHING.
ESTATE PLANNING IS NOT JUST
FOR EVERYBODY THAT IS WEALTHY.
YOU NEED A LIVING WILL AND SO
YOU CAN MAKE YOUR WISHES KNOW
AND A POWER OF ATTORNEY FOR
HEALTH CARE IF SOMEBODY ELSE
NEEDS TO MAKE THE DECISIONS FOR
YOU.
THESE ARE IMPORTANT.
I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU
HAVE OR DON'T HAVE, YOU NEED
THE DOCUMENTS IN PLACE.
AND THE LIFE INSURANCE.
NOT SOMETHING YOU LIKE THAT
THINK ABOUT BUT YOU NEED TO
HAVE.
IT PAINS ME WHEN YOU HEAR
FAMILY GOES THROUGH A SITUATION
AND THERE WAS NO LIFE
INSURANCE, NOT ONLY TO HANDLED
THE FINAL EXPENSES, BUT THE
ESTATE AND HOUSE AND OTHER
ASSETS.
YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU
HAVE LIFE INSURANCE BUT DO IT
YOU HAVE ENOUGH LIFE INSURANCE
TO REALLY TAKE CARE OF YOUR
FAMILY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO
YOU.
AND IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE
ENOUGH NOW, CHECK IT STILL
BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO IT
GET THE SAME AMOUNT FOR A
CHEAPER PRICE.
AND THEN LOOKING AT YOUR
PORTFOLIO?
A LOT IS GOING ON IN THE
MARKET, PARTICULARLY SINCE THE
PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T LOOK AT
THEIR INVESTMENT STATEMENTS FOR
MONTHS AND MONTHS.
MAKE SURE IT IS STILL
ALLOCATED.
TAKE THE APPROPRIATE LINE OF
RISK.
AND WE MIGHT THINK TAX
SEASON OVER.
BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE TOTALLY
OVER.
YOU BREATHE A SIGH OF
REWREATH.
BUT TAX SEASON SHOULD BE MORE
OF A PROCESS THAN AN EVENT, AND
PARTICULARLY NOW WHEN THE TAX
LAWS MIGHT BE CHANGING
SIGNIFICANTLY, YOU WANT TO
START PLANNING NOW SO YOU CAN
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL OF THOSE
DEDUCTIONS AND OTHER THINGS
THAT MIGHT BE COMING DOWN THE
LINE.
GET STARTED A LITTLE EARLIER.
AND NOW WE'LL SPRING FORD.
SO TELL US WHAT WE CAN DO TO GO
FROM HERE.
THIS IS WHAT YOU DO AFTER DO
YOU ALL OF THOSE ITEMS.
NOW YOU CAN CLEAR YOUR HEAD.
THE PAPER IS OUT OF THE WAY AND
THE DOCUMENTS ARE IN ORDER AND
NOW YOU WANT TO ASK YOURSELF
SOME QUESTIONS.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WANT
FOR YOUR LIFE?
DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC GOALS OUT
THERE?
THE YEAR IS 25% OVER.
HAVE YOU ACHIEVED THE NEWS
YEARS RESOLUTIONS?
AND REVIEW AND REVISE THE
GOALS.
YOU NEED SPECIFIC GOALS ONCE
YOU FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT.
YOU DON'T JUST WANT TO EARN
MORE MONEY AT WORK, YOU WANT TO
EARN 10,000 MORE THIS YEAR.
YOU DON'T WANT TO JUST SAVE
MORE MONEY, YOU WANT TO SAVE
$5,000 BY THE END OF THE YEAR.
WE HAVE TO TAKE BABY STEPS
TO GET THERE, THOUGH, RIGHT?
DON'T GET OVERWHELMS WITH
ALL OF THIS STUFF.
ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY.
SO TAKE ONE THING THAT YOU FEEL
LIKE YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH QUICKLY
AND START WITH THAT AND THEN
MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ONE AND
DON'T TRY TO TACKLE ALL OF
THESE ISSUES AT ONCE.
GREAT ADVICE.

From a new centre-back to Emre Can's contract – 5 things for Liverpool to sort this summer - Duration: 7:45.
From a new centre-back to Emre Can's contract – 5 things for Liverpool to sort this summer
A crucial summer awaits at Anfield and if Liverpool are to battle on all fronts next season, a number of issues must be sorted by August.
The 2016/17 campaign may only have just reached its conclusion, but there is very little rest where Jurgen Klopp and his Reds are concerned.
Having clinched UEFA Champions League football with a final-day victory over Middlesbrough, Liverpool must now build on a productive season and go up another significant gear.
Things aren't perfect within Klopp's squad, and in the approaching weeks and months, several matters must be addressed. Here are five that stand out. Sign a top-class centre-back.
It's not exactly the world's greatest secret that Klopp is desperate for a centre-back to come in and help eradicate Liverpool's ongoing defensive issues.
It is a problem that has been apparent during this entire decade, and until things at the back are shored up, chances are, success will not come the Reds' way—or at least not consistently enough.
Top of the list of targets is Virgil van Dijk, who would be one of the Reds' most significant signings in a number of years. Man City and Chelsea remain well in the hunt, though.
Liverpool need a consistent, dominant centre-back to partner Joel Matip from next season onwards, with Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan used more sparingly.
Should a deal for van Dijk not materialise, it is essential Klopp has an excellent back-up option in place. Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly has been mooted, and would be a very good purchase. At least one new left-back brought in.
James Milner may not always have excelled in his new left-back role, but it is hard not to feel some sort of admiration for him.
At 30 years of age, he was thrust into a completely different position, and performed well prior to Liverpool's post-Christmas slump.
Rumour has it that Klopp may keep Milner as his first-choice left-back next season, and while criticising the German never feels particularly easy, that would be a mistake.
Liverpool need a natural left-back marauding up and down the flank, providing more natural width and legs than Milner has managed.
It could even be argued that two new faces should arrive, with a young understudy—such as Hull City's Josh Tyman—arriving alongside more of a household name.
Milner can still be a reliable squad player, slotting in when required, but a high-quality left-back would add so much to an already potent Liverpool attack. They need to be able to defend too, though!. Emre Can's new contract sorted.
We're a fickle bunch at times, and it doesn't feel like long ago that Emre Can was almost being marched out of Anfield.
The 23-year-old's performances were poor during the early part of the year, but the negative reaction to his form always felt harsh.
In the final few months of 16/17, Can was arguably Liverpool's best player, with the German producing some influential displays in the middle of the park.
He has huge potential, given his still-tender age, but with interest from Juventus reported and his current deal expiring next summer, a new contract must come Can's way.
Liverpool cannot afford to be weakening their squad, and while Can's future role remains uncertain—some see him as a key man, others see him as a fringe player—keeping hold of him is paramount.
His best years are ahead of him, and the end of this season showed exactly what he can bring to this team.
Liverpool have had some excellent teams over the last 25 years, but they have almost always had one thing in common: a lack of squad depth.
While the first-choice starting lineups have often rivalled the best teams in the country, the quality among the substitutes has been painfully lacking.
This once again applied in 16/17, with injuries to the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson effectively ending the Reds' title push by the turn of the year.
Klopp simply has to be at a point where he has a rich array of quality all over the pitch, including those playing second fiddle to the regular starters.
With four competitions to tackle, failure to rotate the squad and keep things fresh will make it impossible to battle on all fronts.
Liverpool need to be at a stage where current regulars have to make do with a squad role, with competition for places more fierce than it has been at any point this century. Goalkeeping situation made crystal clear.
The goalkeeping department at Liverpool was a curious one last season, with Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius never too sure who was first-choice.
An injury to Karius handed Mignolet the jersey at the start of the season, only for the Belgian to be replaced by his new teammate when he returned to full fitness.
Karius' form was unimpressive, though, and Mignolet eventually regained his place from December until May, enjoying his best run of form since joining the Reds four years ago.
There are still murmurs that Karius could once again be made first-choice next season, though, but whatever Klopp's decision, it needs to be a definite one.
Mignolet's run of form means he deserves to remain his manager's go-to guy, but as we all know too well, the 49-year-old is never easy to predict.

PGE chooses HP PageWide XL for both speed and reliability - Duration: 2:26.
PGE was born 25 years ago.
We are a graphic PSP
and we work mainly for the retail segment
Our activities can vary from graphic design and digital printing that we do internally,
to also traditional printing that we outsource,
and to web design.
We have chosen HP PageWide XL for several reasons:
The first important benefit is the speed.
Speed that is correlated to reliability
and it requires very little maintenance.
The second benefit is the ease of use.
Any operator, also with very little experience, could operate the printer.
The third benefit is the competitiveness and the cost per copy.
This printer can really make you very competitive in the market.
We mainly use the printer for indoor applications
as our core business is retail,
but we also do outdoor applications like bluebacks for billposting.
We use HP smartStream, extremely easy, useful and very fast software.
Thanks to this printer we managed to print more,
acquire new clients
and be stronger and more competitive in the market.
If you bring it away
it will be very difficult for us to maintain this position and fill in the gap,
also because there's no alternative in the market.

MoSAIc REU [Research Experience for Undergraduates] - Orientation 2017 - Duration: 2:57.
Today is the first day of our REU site.
The students came in yesterday to check-in to Frederickson Court and today they're
finding out what they'll be doing through the summer.
They're meeting their mentors for the first time and getting through the logistics of
getting access to the different labs and so on.
Now for the next ten weeks they'll do a research project where they'll be advised
by their individual mentors and graduate students will assist them.
In addition, we'll train them how to effectively communicate.
We'll have three communications workshops, we'll have a training on ethics, what research
involves, how to formulate hypotheses, and talk about the scientific process.
We'll have a short course on that.
We'll have a short course on statistics.
So we'll have some short courses then every week one of the faculty members will talk
about their research during the "lunch and learn" events.
The students will do a 10-week research project then write a poster and a paper at the end
which they will present at the campus-wide REU symposium.
So the purpose of this REU site is to basically immerse the undergraduate students into a
research environment and get them a feel of graduate school so that they know what graduate
school entails and then they can think about if graduate school is a right decision for
them or not, so that's the basic motivation.
So the research theme for our REU site is micro-scale sensing, imaging, and actuation
so the acronym is MoSAIc.
The intent of this program is to bring in a cohort of undergraduate students from around
the country and engage them in an immersive research experience in one of our signature
areas in the department.
Part of the reason for this is to also bring visibility to our research program and provide
a recruiting pool to our graduate program.
The intent is to bring in his cohort of students and have them evolve from a dependent first
week where we show them the ropes about research and then at the end of ten weeks they're
presenting their individual research in the form of a poster and they've moved toward
being an independent researcher.
So this gives them a flavor of research, gives them a flavor of Iowa State mechanical engineering
and helps inform them of graduate school and research if that's something they would
like to pursue.
We've had several students who have participated in this program who have actually joined our
graduate program and have gone on to do their masters and PhD here.
We've had it for six years and this is now in its seventh year and we'll be doing it
for another two years.
NSF, the National Science Foundation, funds this program and it's typically a
three-year grant.

Becoming a Cheese Pro: The Proper Tools for Cutting Cheese - Duration: 1:55.
Hi! My name is Adam Goddu.
I'm the Associate Director of retail for Murray's Cheese.
I run the retail in New York City.
I have a couple selections of the tools of the trade, if you will.
Some things we use, the mongers behind the counter when you come visit us.
And some things you can get at home that are great tools to use for all of your needs;
cheesy needs, I should say.
So the first thing, this is an Alpine style cheese exclusively to Murray's.
These we use, these big honking guys, these are our cheese knives.
You'll notice they have that rounded edge so we can really lay into them.
Just a firm cheese knife, any kind of pairing knife.
This is our Murray's branded hard cheese knife.
Definitely works for anything you can really imagine, on the semi firm to firm scale (so
Manchegos, Alpines, Gruyere's, things like that) We also have for softer cheeses, specifically
with bleu cheeses, the mongers' will use a cheese wire.
You can absolutely get these at home.
I'm a nerd, so I have one.
The significance of them is that it's easier to cut but also specifically with bleu cheeses,
instead of throwing that blue vein all the way through, you get a nice clean cut, so
aesthetically it's just nicer as well.
I would suggest if you could get one of these at home, you totally, totally should.
You'd be a real cheese pro.
And lastly, another little thing to keep at home is our cheese slicer.
This is for anytime you're doing thin ribbons or you're doing any plating, it''s much easier
than with a larger piece, than try to cut it all up, just use a little guy like this.
Just another great tool to have around the house!

Lucid Motors undercuts Tesla with pricing for new Air
As other potential Tesla-challengers are messing around with (failed) self-parking stunts and fighting each other on Twitter, Lucid Motors has been quietly finishing up the product it plans to sell next year.
Although the company showed off a completed car in December last year, we werent given any info about pricing or finalized performance specs. Finally, three months later, we have the full picture.
Initial speculation suggested the Air EV would sell for well over $100,000, but it turns out that speculation was wildly inaccurate.
Pricing for a base Air will start at $60,000 but that figure doesnt include the $7,500 Federal tax credit applied to electric cars sold in the US.
Even in the most basic trim, the car isnt exactly what youd call stripped-back. Itll be rear-drive and have 400 horsepower (298 kW) on tap, with a 240-mile (386-km) range from the battery.
All the hardware necessary for autonomous driving will also be fitted, but there is no word on whether itll actually be active as standard, or whether youll need to pay more to use it.
By way of comparison, the base Tesla Model S retails for $68,000 before any rebates, and offers a 210-mi (338-km) range from its 60 kWh battery. Owners can, however, pay to unlock greater battery capacity later in life.
Without motors on the front wheels, the rear trunk is accompanied by a capacious front-trunk (or to quote Tesla, frunk). The two storage areas add up to create 32 cu.
ft (906 liters) of luggage space, which Lucid compares (weirdly) to the volume of a four-person hot tub. Who said electricity and water dont mix?.
The driver and passenger both sit in 12-way adjustable thrones, faced with four screens for driver information, climate control and entertainment, plus a 10-speaker audio system is standard. Over-the-air software updates are also included in the package.
Diving into the options list can turn your reasonably-priced Air into something much more expensive, very quickly.
Bigger batteries can turn the 240-mile range into 315 mi or 400 mi (507 km or 644 km) and, if youre determined to scare your passengers silly, a twin-motor powertrain with 1,000 hp (746 kW) will also be on offer.
No, that isnt a typo. Lucid will sell you an Air with more power than a LaFerrari or McLaren P1. What a time to be alive.
Fully active suspension will be available, and probably necessary if youve specced the 21-inch wheels. Inside, the options list will allow for richer materials, 22-way adjustable front seats and an active noise-cancelling 29-speaker audio system.
Expect to pay upwards of $100,000 if too many of these options are added. Lucid has yet to announce how much upper-spec cars will cost, nor has it finalized the spec of the 225 Launch Edition cars which will kick off production.
If were being brutally honest, there isnt any guarantee the car will be built at all, but Lucid certainly looks more solid than the likes of Faraday Future and LeEco at the moment.
