Trump Decided to Block Syrian Army Advance in Preparation For Syria Partition - Duration: 6:16.

A completely new turn of events in Northern Syria.

The Americans are not just changing their tactics there,

they're changing their overall strategy.

A complete 180. That's Trump.

In December, the US agreed to UNSC Resolution 2336, which clearly states

"its strong commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity

and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic".

And now, without making their intentions in Syria public,

America decides to partition the country.

On Monday, in Japan, Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu

said that a post-conflict resolution in Syria is being discussed.

We think it's time to begin post-conflict reconstruction efforts

of Syrian infrastructure and to discuss the role the big international coalition will play in it.

So Shoygu believes that the days of the barbarian pseudo-caliphate are over

and that it's time to begin negotiations for the sake of the country's internal well-being.

This includes creating an international coalition to assist in rebuilding Syria.

The Americans agree,

but under one condition — the post-conflict deal needs to be done right away.

When it comes to rebuilding, they won't do anything.

In his response to Shoygu, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated on Wednesday,

"As a coalition, we're not in the business of nation building or reconstruction".

Before that, on Tuesday, the USA landed

more special forces in Syria.

That was south of the Euphrates River.

They also took a few Kurdish units into their helicopters.

Here are the pictures of a joint march.

At the same time, there's a message on "The Voice of Kurdistan", without any references,

but still very specific,

that the US and Syrian Kurd authorities have agreed upon

the borders of an autonomous Kurd state, which is to be located in the territory of Syria.

This autonomy will be applied and recognized by the US

right after taking over the cities of Raqqa and Es-Thawrah (Tabqa).

"The Voice of Kurdistan" also says that the Americans have already determined the borders

for United Kurdistan, which is to be located in the territories of Iraq and Syria.

When it comes to the borders of the so-called "Great Kurdistan",

there are different versions of it online.

Like this.

Or like this.

Or like this.

Basically, it's all about the population of Kurds - the largest nation without its own state.

There are up to 40 million Kurds.

The specific border that Americans drew on Syria and Iraq isn't that important.

It's essential that the course of creating a new state,

at least, at the expense of Syria and Iraq, is taken in complete secrecy.

This fundamentally changes the agreement.

At the very least, the actions taken by the US confirm what was said on "The Voice of Kurdistan".

The next step, after announcing the borders of the new Kurdish autonomous state,

is recognition of the new state by the USA and its allies.

Basically, it's the Kosovo model. Not too hard, it has been done before.

If so, then there will be about 10 million Kurds in United Kurdistan, which is serious.

But what's even more serious is that 18 million Kurds in Southeast Turkey,

in Turkish Kurdistan, will be inspired to reunite with their brothers.

With such inspiration, they'll get money,

weapons,

intelligence sharing, and diplomatic support from the US.

For Turkey, this turn of events would be fatal.

Through a bloody civil war, the country might fall apart from the inside.

America knows that, so they're getting their revenge

on their NATO ally for their rebelliousness and their partnership with Russia.

Either way, the actions taken by the US on the ground fully confirm this blueprint.

"The Voice of Kurdistan" says that the Americans are basically bribing ISIS leaders

while simultaneously paying a large salary to the Kurdish soldiers.

They also airlift them to the front lines near Raqqa and Es-Thawrah (Tabqa).

Meanwhile, they keep the Turkish military away, like they can do it without them.

As a result, the military forces on the bank of the Euphrates are fully active.

To the northwest of Raqqa and to the north of Es-Thawrah

terrorists are taking residential areas one-by-one.

Obviously, Damascus cannot be too happy with this situation.

Bashar Al-Assad stated,

"Any operation in Syria without a preliminary arrangement with the authorities is illegal.

Any presence of military units on Syrian land is an invasion,

whether it's to free Raqqa or any other residential area."

Meanwhile, a member of parliament from the Syrian Democratic Party

and one of the chairmen of the National Council of Syrian Kurds — Muslim Muhammad,

confirmed that "the Americans have this project".

"The Kurds must decide their own fate on the lands of Iraq and Syria.

Today, Syrian Kurdistan is at the center of attention

and it deserves to have its own rights."

Damascus has another offer for the Syrian Kurds — autonomy within Syria.

The Americans are trying to steer the other way. They need war in the region.

We'll keep an eye on what's going on in northern Syria,

unfortunately, it seems that the long-suffering country's problems are not yet over.

2017 Will Be A Great Year For Gaming - Duration: 4:54.

2017 The Year For Gamers

We are only three months into 2017 and it has already been an amazing year for gamers.

With the launch of the Nintendo Switch coupled with so many incredible game releases, 2017

has started out very strong and it doesn't look like it is going to slow down.

There have been so many good games that have been

released this year, I have had to be selective of what I give my time to.

I don't have nearly enough time to play everything and my backlog continues

to grow.

With massive games like Zelda Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn, you could literally

be occupied for weeks and months exploring these vast beautiful worlds.

If you are a real-time strategy game fan you have Halo Wars 2 that I would say is the best

console RTS I have played.

There is Ghost Recon Wildlands if you are looking for

an open world third person shooter and Nioh if you need your dark souls-rescue type of

game.

These are just to name a few.

Looking ahead there are good games coming out each and every month.

Just next month in April we have Persona 5 the highly anticipated JRPG which has already

been out in Japan since September and has received amazing reviews.

The Switch will be getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and for someone like myself who didn't play

it on the Wii U, it is a game I am excited to dive into.

The highly anticipated crowd funded Yooka-Laylee which could be a great 3D platform or a great

disappointment in the way that Mighty Number 9 was.

Either way, I am excited to see how it does and play it.

On top of all the great game releases the extremely the successful launch of the Nintendo

Switch is a good sign for Nintendo and the gaming industry in general.

The console has sold over 1.5 million units globally and it looks like the only thing

slowing it down is the lack of availability.

In fact, Reggie Fils-Aime recently just came out saying that the Switch is setting sales

records from a United States perspective.

All of this means that there is a high chance third parties will stay on board and we will

get great experiences aside from the first party Nintendo games on this awesome new hybrid

console.

E3 is just around the corner and Nintendo has announced that they will have huge plans

for the event.

If you were like me I was very disappointed in last years Nintendo's E3 press conference

so expectations are high this year with the Switch out.

Microsoft will surely go deeper into Xbox Scorpio and I really hope that they will reveal

some new exclusive IP's because they have been lacking in that department especially

with the cancellation of Scalebound.

Then we have Sony and thinking about their press conference literally gets me salivating

thinking about seeing more of Death Stranding, Days Gone, Last of Us Part 2.

To top all of this off the best selling fps franchise Call of Duty will be going back

to its roots.

There was a leak showing that Call of Duty will be WW2 game and will be giving fans what

they have been clamoring for over the last few years.

If Activision can really bring the game back to its roots it will just be the cherry on

top.

It is a great time to be a gamer and I believe that this may be one of the best years ever

in gaming.

Lower one tax, raise another in proposed plan for road repair - Duration: 1:41.

ILED AT

A NEWS CONFERENCE THIS MORNING,

AND WYFF NEWS 4'S TIM WALLER WAS

THERE.

TIM: THE STATE SENATOR WHO PLANS

TO INTRODUCE THIS BILL SAY

UNDER THE CURRENT TAX CODE,

FAMILIES MAKING $14,000 PER YEAR

ARE TAXED AT THE SAME RATE AS

MILLIONAIRES.

HE SAYS HIS TAX REFORM BILL

WOULD CHAGE THAT AND PAY FOR

ROAD REPAIRS AS WELL.

TIM: FOR 4 YEARS, SOUTH CAROLINA

LAWMAKERS HAVE DISAGREED ON HOW

TO PAY FOR ROAD REPAIRS.

>> IT'S A SERIOUS PROBLEM.

TIM: BUT SENATOR GREG HEMBREE OF

HORRY COUNTY SAYS THE BILL HE

PLANS TO INTRODUCE TODAY, COULD

BRING OPPOSING SIDES TOGETHE

>> WE'RE TAKING A TAX REFORM

PACKAGE THAT AT THE SAME TIME IS

GOING TO BE A LONG TERM SOLUTION

FOR MAINTAINING OUR STATE

HIGHWAYS.

TIM: HEMBREE'S BILL WOULD RAISE

THE GAS TAX BY 12 CENTS A YEAR

OVER THE NEXT SIX YEARS AS THE

LATEST BILL IN THE ROADS FIGHT

PROPOSES.

BUT IT WOULD ALSO REFORM THE

SOUTH CAROLINA TAX CODE.

REDUCING INCOME TAXES FOR MIDDLE

CLASS AND WORKING POOR FAMILIES

BY 94 MILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY

FOR AN AVERAGE YEARLY TAX

SAVINGS OF 610 DOLLARS PER

FAMILY, WHICH HEMBREE SAYS IS

REAL MONEY.

>> AS A MATTER OF FACT, FOR MOST

FOLKS IN SOUTH CAROLINA, THAT IS

A PAYCHECK.

IT'S LIKE SOUTH CAROLINA

GOVERNMENT GIVING OUR CITIZENS

BACK A PAYCHECK.

TIM: HEMBREE SAYS THE TAX CUT

WOULD OFFSET THE INCREASE IN THE

GAS TAX, WHICH WILL GENERATE 7

MILLION PER YEAR FOR ROAD

REPAIRS.

OF THAT, 200 MILLION WOULD BE

PAID BY PEOPLE WHO LIVE OUT OF

STATE, AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE

WEAR AND TEAR ON STATE ROADS.

IT'S A BOLD PLAN THAT WILL SOON

BE DEBATED, ON THE BUMPY JOURNEY

TO BETTER ROAD

Short On Critical Ammo, Indian Army Desperately Reaches Out To The Private Sector - Duration: 3:25.

Welcome to WARN, Todays News is.

Short On Critical Ammo, Indian Army Desperately Reaches Out To The Private Sector

Saddled with a huge shortfall of critical ammunition, the Indian army is reaching out

to the private sector.

It desperately needs ammunition for tanks, armoured personnel carrier, artillery.

Till recently, the government owned Ordnance Factory Boards (OFB) and imports from the

foreign countries were the only source for the Indian Army.

Top sources told HuffPost India that the Indian army asked the private sector whether it produces,

among others, 125 mm Armour Piercing Fin Stabilizing Discarding Sabot's - ordnance to destroy tanks.

The army needs at least 20,000 pieces of such ammunition every year for the next decade.

It also needs about 500,000, 23mm High Explosive shells for its armoured personnel carriers

every year for the next decade.

The Indian Army also needs over 100,000 pieces of various kinds of fuses for its artillery

every year.

"Bi-Modular Fuses are produced by OFB but these aren't effective for longer ranges,"

a senior official said.

He added that the Indian Army has been importing these.

Apart from quality issues, OFBs have a limited capacity too.

And are therefore are unable to produce the quantities required by the Indian Army.

To help the private sector to recover the sunk in cost for producing the ordnance, the

government will allow them export the products with minor controls.

Top Indian Army sources said that about 25 Indian companies have responded.

The companies are free to form their own joint ventures with the foreign vendors to source

technology and know-how.

India continues to be the world's largest importer of major arms.

It imports more than China and Pakistan, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, (SIPRI)

said in its recent report.

The (SIPRI) in its report said, India accounted for at least 13% of the total global arms

import between 201216 - the highest among all the countries.

In contrast to India, China has been increasingly depending on indigenously made defence platforms

products.

India is dependent on weapons technology from Russia, the US, Europe, Israel and South Korea,

the report said.

Prime Minister Modi's flagship programme "Make in India" has a special focus on defence manufacturing.

The aim is gradually to produce complicated defence platforms like fighters and submarines.

Although manufacturing ordnance doesn't require the same kind of technical expertise, it will

help in creating a "eco-system," in defence manufacturing, senior officers said.

Ex-president Park to attend her arrest warrant hearing on Thursday - Duration: 1:48.

Former president Park Geun-hye will attend a court hearing on Thursday morning to review

the prosecution's request for her arrest warrant.

The hearing has been set for 10.30am, Korea time... that's just over 24 hours from now.

Legal experts say Park might make another bid to deny the charges against her.

The court's decision is expected early Friday morning

Kim Hyo-sun reports.

Ousted president Park Geun-hye will show up at the Seoul Central District Court on Thursday

morning for a court hearing on her arrest warrant.

Prosecutors sought the warrant on Monday after they questioned Park for more than 14 hours

the previous week.

The former president faces 13 charges including bribery, abuse of power and coercion.

Prosecutors say Park abused her position and authority by letting her close confidant Choi

Soon-sil extort tens of millions of dollars from conglomerates.

She's also accused of leaking confidential presidential office documents to Choi.

There was speculation Park would refuse to attend because she was not cooperative during

the independent counsel's probe,... but her legal representative confirmed she will show

up.

Park and her legal team are known to have spent a considerable amount of time preparing

for the hearing,... while the prosecution is also getting ready.

The district court is already tightening security around the area with a day left until Park

appears for the arrest warrant hearing.

Her attendance will make her the first ex-president to do so,... after such a system was introduced

After the hearing, the court will deliberate,... with watchers saying a decision is likely

early Friday morning.

Korean manufacturers' biz sentiment improves for third straight month in March - Duration: 0:40.

Korea's business sentiment among manufacturers improved for the third straight months in

March,... bolstering optimism the economy might be on a solid recovery track.

Data from the Bank of Korea data shows the sentiment index rose three points to 79 this

month from February.

Still, a reading below the benchmark one-hundred means there more pessimists than optimists.

An official from Korea's central bank says an upbeat chip industry coupled with new smartphone

model releases boosted business sentiment among electronics companies, while the recent

recovery in exports buoyed local automakers.

Using "apologies for" in Business English - Duration: 1:38.

Hi. Welcome to Business English Prepositions.

This is video number 4 with The English Hustle.

Okay let's have a look at the preposition.

So today's preposition is "for" and the example we are using is "apologies for the delay"

So the key point here is, after "for" you put "what"

for + something

So you can either use a gerund or a noun.

Let's have a look at the example:

So we've got the written example here

Apologies for the delay in the delivery of today's brief.

And we have a spoken example:

My apologies for the delay in the delivery of today's brief.

And I'd like to apologise for the delay in the delivery of today's brief.

Okay, so the key point here is

Apologies is a noun

And apologise is a verb

So the key point here is "to + apologise"

And here "apologies + for"

The pronunciation is also different.

Okay. So, you can check us out on Facebook for other videos.

And if you like

you can make an example in the comments below and

we'll check it for you.

Have a great day!

INVESTIGATIONS, SOME OF WHICH

WERE FOR SERIOUS INCIDENTS.

BEFORE SUNDAY'S BLOODY SHOOTOUT

ERUPTED INSIDE CAMEO NIGHTCLUB,

POLICE HAD ALREADY INVESTIGATED

TWO SHOOTINGS THERE IN THE LAST

COUPLE YEARS.

ONE HAPPENED IN SEPTEMBER 2015,

THE OTHER IN JANUARY OF THE SAME

YEAR.

IN THOSE CASES, GUNS WERE FIRED

IN THE CLUB'S PARKING LOT.

A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE SHOOTING

IN JANUARY OF 2015, A STATE

AGENT INSPECTED THE BAR ON

KELLOGG AVENUE.

>> WE WERE WORKING WITH

CINCINNATI VICE, AND AT THAT

TIME WE ALSO ISSUED A CITATION

FOR THE DRUG USE.

IT WAS THE MARIJUANA AGAIN, IS

WHAT IT WAS.

IT WAS OPEN MARIJUANA SMOKING

INSIDE THE BAR.

TODD: ADAM JOHNSON, WITH THE

OHIO INVESTIGATIVE UNIT, USED

THE WORD AGAIN BECAUSE AFTER

SUNDAY'S MASS SHOOTING AN AGENT

FOUND SIMILAR CONDITIONS.

>> WE HAD AN IMPROPER CONDUCT,

DRUG POSSESSION, DRUG USE

VIOLATIONS.

TODD: SPECIFICALLY, JOHNSON SAYS

AN AGENT ON HIS TEAM SMELLED

BURNED MARIJUANA AND FOUND POT

IN AN EMPLOYEE-ONLY AREA AND ON

A TABLE IN A VIP AREA.

>> IF WE OBSERVE VIOLATIONS THEN

WE WOULD HAVE TO ISSUE A

CITATION.

TODD: ON SUNDAY, THE STATE AGENT

ISSUED CITATIONS AGAINST JAY

RODGERS, THE MAN WHO HOLDS

CAMEO'S LIQUOR LICENSE.

RODGERS HAS VOLUNTARILY

SURRENDERED THE LICENSE AND

PLANS TO CLOSE THE CLUB ON

FRIDAY.

BUT CLOSING THE CLUB WON'T STOP

INCLUDING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE

CLUB'S NEED FOR A METAL

HAVE FULL METAL DETECTORS AND

WANDS.

AND THERE'S PLENTY OF BARS YOU

RIGHT IN.

SO, I THINK IT'S JUST EACH

ON, YOU KNOW, WHERE IT'S

LOCATED, YOU KNOW, MAYBE WHAT

THE CRIME RATE IS, THINGS LIKE

THAT.

TODD: IN ADDITION TO CITATIONS

FOR DRUGS, THE STATE CITED JAY

RODGERS FOR SANITARY VIOLATIONS.
