Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am 21 years old and I live in Colombia.

Hi! My name is Carolina, I am 23 years old and I live in Colombia.

We like to learn languages.

Because we love traveling.

Initially, we will start to talk about the main touristic attractions and sightseeing from our country.

For instance, Monserrate's Hill located in Bogotá, Colombia capitol city.

And, with our Korean teachers we went to Salt Mine, located in Zipaquira, a small town close to Bogota.

Outside the country, I have been in Santa Barbara, United States.

This year, I traveled to Miami. It was amazing.

And… ¡Orlando!

Did you go to Orlando, too?

Yes! What a shame! We didn't see each other.

We are studying Korean in the King Sejong Institute in Bogota.

By means of this video we want to have the chance to be considered to visit

one of the most beautiful and diverse places in Korea, Gyeonggi-do!

Gyeonggi-do is a city located in the northeast of South Korea, and it surrounds Seoul.

Its capitol city is... Suwon.

Minsokchon is a folk village where people can see the traditional life style and Korean culture.

As its name says, Hwaseong fortress is an army building made in 1796 in Suwon.

In Gapyeong we can visit the 'Garden of Morning Calm' a splendid botanic garden. It's beautiful, isn't it?

And visit the GwangMyeong cave used by Japanese during the Second World War and

now is a great touristic attraction.

Many of us, we are curious to know more about the DMZ,

an important part of the South Korean history.

The DMZ is a security area that establishes a limit between South and North Korea and it was created in 1953.

Also, there is Paju, the closest South Korean city to North Korea, although it is sad,

its architecture and infrastructure are beautiful.

Tourists can see towards North from the Goseong Unification Observatory, It has a gorgeous view, hasn't it?

What about visit the Imjingak Peace Park, located on the border of the Imji river.

It has a lot of statues and special monuments to not forget about

the tragic moment that happened during the Korean war.

This is Gyeonggi-do!
