Waching daily Dec 2 2017

please like and comment on the video below that will allow me to produce

better quality videos and more of them in the future so I wanted to apologize

for speaking positively what am I talking about here well if you look at

all of the videos that that's the sort of way that I come across I want to

encourage you to do things but it's not through a commercial interest it's

through life experience so when you look at all of these recommendations the way

that I do the videos and so on that's the driver and I thought it was worth

doing a video to explain how that driver came around I mean first of all I've had

a really brilliant experience on exchanges so to talk positively about

those now I realize it's not for everybody not everybody's going to

succeed and I think it's impossible that anybody could replicate what I've done

because I started earlier than most people and I've taken it to levels that

are much higher and I've worked so hard to do that so hard so as a consequence

it's unlikely you will be able to get to the level so I'm not going to recommend

or ask you to do things on that basis the reason for being positive is because

I think that that is the right frame of mind that you should adopt and when I

look back at my childhood there were lots of people telling me that I

couldn't achieve things that things are impossible or you know there was every

excuse under the books that you can imagine but I look back at that era now

and I think about it and I just think you bastards you know you were trying to

control manipulate restrict click my wings

you were just you know you were doing it for your own personal reasons you

weren't doing it to see my progression so my attitude now that I'm trying to

transplant through my life and through my children instantly winner when I talk

to you on camera that's what I imagine I imagine what the three children are in

front of me and I'm giving them some advice so you are my children

hopefully I actually that that could be a big problem but that's the attitude

that I'm that I'm talking about I wouldn't say anything to you though

wouldn't recommend to my own children or you know along those lines but um yeah

you know when I look back at how I was told all these things were possible and

it was a lie it was basically a lie but I was to me ages to overcome though

because when you look at everything that's transpired since then it's been a

meandering path but that's generally what happens you you're looking into the

distance and you're looking at a goal with a path that you take to get there

will be all over the place but the only way to do that is to keep on stepping

forward you have to keep thinking right okay that didn't work let's let's move

forward so when I'm talking about trading you know I've been trading for

17 years I've faced skepticism all the way through those 17 years especially at

the start then loads in the middle and I'm still getting it and when I first

got it it was like a bit of a shock because it's like well okay nobody's

ever done this before fair enough I am doing this but just and

I'm giving you information and encouraging this when I could have

actually kept it to myself and I'm getting grief right and you're thinking

let's you know what's going on there but I've realized that that's just the

status quo you know the world is made up of different types of people of

different viewpoints and some of those people act like those people did in my

childhood they want to restrict clip your wings and control D and the best

way to do that is to try and shoot somebody down who's actually doing

something that they either don't believe in can't do themselves or whatever so

you know I don't resonate or recognize those people and I went through a spell

of trying to argue but if you find it's impossible to argue with these people

and I even invited somebody here once and you know we have had a falling out

with somebody I said oh why don't you just come to the office you know I've

got wonderful equations formulas terabytes of spreadsheets

I've kept detailed records of everything that done I've quantified so much in the

market I looked at the psychology I've melded that together with a general

market model now really works so incredibly hard and it's all here and it

all beautifully documented I went to bed fair recently and I got them to give me

loads of details about my account and I got a 52-week account statement

52 weeks 52 weeks traded 52 weeks of profit and I'm not talking fibers and

tennis you know it's there it's in black and white and it's documented all the

way through my career so I was a standard when I first when people were

trying to question that because I was thinking well why would you do that

but of course they don't have the information and they're looking at it

from a different viewpoint so um yeah I think when you come across people that

are generally acting negatively to others that's a huge red flag and should

put you off because those are the people I recognize from early on in my

childhood and at certain points in my career and the fact is that you know the

attitude I should have had at those moments which I didn't have cuz didn't

have the experience when I was younger it was to ignore it and move on

because your goal is over there you do things that move you towards that goal

if people try and stop you you look at it and you say is this gonna get me

closer to the goal or further away and it's gonna get you further away off it

goes so I realized that trading isn't for everybody and not everybody's gonna

make money it's impossible for people to do what I've managed to achieve but I'm

sort of saying well you know why not give it a go because you never know you

may better find a way forward and even if you don't you'll probably learn

something when I did short-term financial markets I was terrible but

what actually happened was that taught me stuff that I used the years later on

Betfair and in fact I'm you know it's gone the other way now and the

financials have sorted themselves out through what I've learned here so you

know it's funny how things like that happen it was part of the meandering

path that led to other things and I've seen loads of stories like this in

Bettinger as well customers I've met through bet angel that have done stuff

who have gone on to new heights and it's because of the attitude and perseverance

that they picked up when they that they learned through trading and it would

give me immense pleasure if somebody watches this video and then emails been

five years time say hey pity you know what you were right and this is what's

happens to me and I would get more pleasure out of that than anything else

so yeah when I'm talking positively and enthusiastically about trading it's a

because it's been such a fantastic journey for me and plenty of others I'm

sort of saying we'll give it a go you have to be

pragmatic and realized maybe it's not for you but why not give it a go anyway

but my general message overall well as with all things is give it a go

when I quit my job the the mentor that I went to said smell you'll only ever

regret the things that you didn't do and by god he was right and I'm glad that I

did do this but also you know you base your decisions on upon where you want to

get to so it's important to think positively and when I talk to you when I

talk to my children that's what I want to do is I want to give people that

positive energy to say to them you know go out and do something give it a try

and what's the worst thing can happen is you can fail and then at least you gave

it a try and he knew that it didn't work but the worst thing you can do is to put

it off endlessly and speaking somebody the other day who's been thinking about

trying to trade seriously for years and he just can't get her hands to doing it

and the opportunity will pass him by and he needs to get out of that mode and

just do do it he just needs to start moving in that direction and stop over

qualifying things so yeah you know that's why I talk positively I apologize

if it comes across as being too positive but that's just me and I'm not going to

change because over the years people have tried to stop and curtail that and

they were always the people that lied they lied to me they lied to others

lying to themselves and it's not going to help them at all and if they could

just broaden their mind and look at things from a bigger perspective maybe

that guy would have come here seen what I did and then that would have changed

his life but he never did and you know that that's his problem basically but

yeah hopefully that's explained to you why I talk positively

you

In Apparent Shift | Trump Tweets He Fired Flynn For Lying to FBI | Breaking News Today - Duration: 3:28.

in a parent ship Trump tweets he fired Flynn for a line

to FBI president Trump said Saturday he had to fire Michael Flynn as national

security adviser because he lied to vice president Pence in the FBI an apparent

shift from the reasons Trump stated at the time of Flynn's ouster Trump's

changing rationale is a discrepancy that will catch the attention of prosecutors

on Mueller's team looking into whether the president tried to obstruct the

investigation I had to fire general Flynn because he lied to the vice

president and the FBI he has pled guilty to those lies Trump tweeted while

traveling in New York City for fundraising events Trump also stressed

there was nothing to hide it is a shame because his actions during

the transition were lawful there was nothing to hide he added the president's

tweet is his most substantial reaction yet to Flynn's guilty plea and special

counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation before leaving the White

House on Saturday Trump told reporters there was no collusion between his

campaign and Moscow but did not elaborate Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday

to line two federal investigators about his conversations during the

presidential transition with Russia's US ambassador about sanctions related to

the Kremlin's election interference the retired Army General said those topics

did not come up in his talks with an ambassador Sarek is lyac a claim that

was repeated publicly by pence and other White House officials Trump said last

winter he asked Flynn because he lied to the vice president but did not mention

anything related to what the national security adviser told the FBI I fired

him because of what he said to Mike Ben's very simple Trump said at a

February 16th news conference three days after Flynn was fired then

FBI James Comey testified before Congress that Trump asked him to end the

investigation into Flynn during an oval office meeting on February 14th

Trump's lawyers have disputed that account Trump fired Comey in May

if Trump knew that Faline had lied to the FBI and then asked Comey to drop the

investigation it could amount to obstruction of justice according to some

legal experts this is a pretty substantial confession to essential

knowledge elements of an obstruction of justice charge tweeted Susan Hennessy a

national security fellow at the Brookings Institution but it is unclear

if Trump's tweet offered new details about what he knew at the time were if

the president was using Flynn's plea to retro actively playing his firing either

way Flynn's confession has dramatically

raised the legal stakes for Trump and the White House in the Mueller Pro the

former national security adviser is the first person to have held a position in

the Trump administration to be charged by the special counsel Flynn who was a

close Trump confident during the 2016 said in a statement meant Friday he is

cooperating with Mueller's team meaning it is possible he could reveal damaging

information about Trump or members of his inner circle

The Buddhist Priest Aiming for Kayak Olympic Gold | Day Jobs - Duration: 9:03.

DAY JOBS

(KAZUKI YAZAWA, CANOE SLALOM, PRIEST, JAPAN)

When I'm on the water, in my canoe, I feel secure.

I feel I can be truly myself.

My name is Kazuki Yazawa.

My name as a monk is Kyoei Yazawa.

I've competed in canoe slalom three times at the Olympics,

Beijing, London and Rio.

I have been practising canoeing since I was a child.

The fun part is paddling in strong currents -

it feels like riding nature's rollercoaster.

(NAGANO, JAPAN)

I started after watching my

father canoeing on the river.

My father told me,

"There is a big event which is called the Olympics

"and only selected athletes from around the world

"can take part."

Reaching the Olympics became my goal.

I worked hard to qualify for Beijing.

There was a gentleman,

who had been the chairman of Nagano Canoe Association,

who did a lot to help me.

He thought about how he could provide an environment...

..for me to focus on my Olympic training for London,

such as finding sponsors.

Then, I thought I want to be like him,

someone who can help people.

He was a monk at the Zenkoji monastery.

So, I thought, I also want to be a monk there too.

In the summer, the earliest we get up is 4.30

for a service that starts at 5.30.

We prepare so we'll be ready for the morning prayers.

We have breakfast just after 8.00.

Then until 15:00,

if anybody wishes to hold a service,

I will recite prayers for them.

Canoe slalom is a sport which involves

going through gates in very strong currents.

How the boat moves in relation to my movement

is very important.

The current changes the boat's movement.

So, I always have to be planning ahead.

I sense those things through my body

or see them with my eyes.

There is no canoe slalom facility in Nagano.

So I train on a flat surface like a lake.

When a member of the public comes to the monastery,

we write them a blessing.

Balance is an important part of calligraphy.

I'm focusing on how to write the characters

so they are more evenly balanced.

It is the same as canoeing,

in that if you do it over and over,

it gradually becomes a part of you.

So it's all down to the effort you put into it.

I do some administrative work

for the temple until 15.00.

After that I have time for myself.

It's then that I practise canoeing,

go to the gym or go for a run.

I then eat dinner, often with friends...

..and then go to bed around 23.00.

My child lives in Tokyo and we asked them to send us tickets

to see Mr Yazawa when they are on sale.

I will do my best, so please come and support me.

We are looking forward to it.

I hope we will be fit enough to be there.

- You're in the Tokyo Olympics? - You've got to want it!

- Shall I go? - Sure, go ahead.

Well, if he doesn't qualify, then you'll go.

What's the difference between slalom and the other one?

- Slalom and sprint? - Yes.

The location and boat are both different.

- Different location? - Yes.

- The one on the Sai-River? - Sprint.

- The one not on the Sai-River? - Slalom.

I see.

- You've lost me there. - Me too.

The event where you only go straight, is sprint.

- When you go like this? - Slalom.

It's a very expensive sport for me.

One canoe can cost between

350,000 and 400,000 Japanese Yen.

If you include the helmet and paddle,

it can cost nearly 500,000 Yen.

Plus, you have to buy the wetsuit.

I don't have a sponsor to give me a free canoe,

a paddle or a suit.

Tomorrow will be my final day at the Daikanjin temple.

I have a strong desire to win an Olympic medal in Tokyo.

When I thought about how I can make this possible,

I realised that life at Daikanjin

would make this very difficult.

I'm moving to Aomori,

so I'm loading my belongings in my van.

I've have found life here really fulfilling.

Obviously I'm going to miss it.

I'm crying, I'm crying.

Don't go.

- I don't want you to go. - Stop it.

Seriously, don't go.

I'll come back.

I have to think about

what I'm going to do when I stop being an athlete.

The village of Nishimeye in the Aomori Prefecture

have offered me a job

with the council.

This will allow me to focus on my sport

and give me peace of mind

that I can make a living when I finish competing.

Vlogmas #1: Starting Vlogmas! What am I giving for Xmas? (11/30 & 12/1) [CC] - Duration: 14:46.

[music: Au5 & Last Heroes - Lush (feat. Holly Drummond)]

[meow]

Me: This thing sounds like a nightmare.

Me: No, this is what horror movies are made out of.

*noises of out-of-tune ice cream truck*

[music: Different Heaven & EH!DE - My Heart]

Me: You can figure it out, buddy-- come outside.

I believe in you.

Come on!

Me: Lucy!

C'mon baby!

Oh, I dunno…YOU stay inside.

Alright so I am gonna do Vlogmas, not like that'll be any different than what I did in

November.

I think November was more to just get me used to the camera and talking to it, and I have

gotten a lot more comfortable with it.

So, what I'm gonna try to do is make December's vlogs a little bit more structured and have

more of a point.

But we'll see. We'll see.

So I tried to film some stuff and I got frustrated and none of it worked and I can barely communicate

properly and it's all horrible so I gave up and so I'm just gonna show you guys my stash

of what I'm gonna give out for Christmas.

Every week, all the workers at my specific place where I work, it's gonna be really obvious,

get a pound of coffee or a box of Keurig coffee or some tea just as a benefit of working there,

so I've been hoarding mine for quite awhile, in anticipation for Christmas and not having

a lot of money, so here's what I have so far.

I love how my phone is finding the little face of the mermaid.

So, a little bit ago I ordered these stickers for Alex (my BFF and ex-wife) and her fiancee,

those are fun.

But otherwise all of this is just stuff I got at work for just working there.

Most recently I picked up some Joy tea in this nice little box.

It's a seasonal thing.

But yeah, I have a bunch of Keurigs, then all the coffee that I've finally accumulated.

And I think I have three more weeks to get stuff before I send it all out, but this is

what I have so far.

This is what everybody's Christmas is gonna look like.

I hope-slash-know they're not watching this, so…

[cut off] I've written down everything, everything I've given-- it's just for my own organization

cuz this is what it turns into: into a bunch of check marks to see what I've gotten already.

They smell pretty nice too, so that's cool.

I don't even have a coffee maker so I couldn't even use some of this stuff.

I don't have a Keurig either.

The only thing I'd be…potentially be wanting to keep would be this one but I'll get my

own after Christmas.

So here are some of the stickers I'm giving my ex and best friend Alex and her fiancee.

A rainbow, I have this one on my car which is now Randy's car so we both drive it around--

it works for both of us so I guess that works…this one…Allison makes a lot of…does…one

of her jobs is as an artist, so I thought that was a good one.

Love this cat…

These with the sloths.

Feminist sloths.

Like me, I'm a feminist sloth.

So yeah, even though I hate the holidays as a general rule, I guess I'll try to find one

holiday-themed caper to record every day for this so we'll see.

I'm feeling pretty down about the ability I have to produce anything right now, including

sentences, which you saw in all of the text either I'm gonna put before or after on this.

Don't know, but…that's all I have today.

So, thanks for watching!

[music: Jingle Punks - O Christmas Tree (instrumental)
