Peter Crouch: Everyone is totally wrong about these two Liverpool players ● News Now transfer ● #LFC - Duration: 2:08.

Peter Crouch has insisted that Liverpool defenders Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren are far better

than everyone says.

The former England defender was handed his first Premier League start of the season on

Wednesday night when he spearheaded the Stoke City attack in their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Crouch did not add to the four goals he has scored this season as he explained how tough

it was to come up against the Liverpool centre-back duo for 90 minutes.

"People talk about Liverpool not being solid but I thought the two central defenders, Dejan

Lovren and Joel Matip, were really difficult to play against," Crouch told the Daily

Mail.

"They were decent.

I know they have come in for a lot of stick but they were really, really solid.

They are going to be in the top four, fighting until the end of the season."

Matip sustained a muscle injury against Stoke and is set to miss Liverpool's Premier League

clash against Brighton at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday.

Crouch is right about Matip.

He is a commanding centre-back who has been damned by association with the likes of Lovren,

Ragnar Klavan and Alberto Moreno in the last few seasons.

The giant 26-year-old would walk into every team in the Premier League and it is ridiculous

to claim he is a liability, as some have said.

But Lovren is hit and miss.

He can be very good when he is on his game, but can also be very bad.

The Croatian would be the ideal third or fourth centre-back for a club of Liverpool's standing,

rather than the second choice as he is at

the moment.

Balance Is SO Important - Duration: 1:52.

BE WELL BALANCED.

ANY TIME THAT WE'RE OUT OF BALANCE

IN OUR LIFE IN ANY AREA, IT OPENS UP A DOOR

FOR THE ENEMY.

IF YOU DON'T SPEND ENOUGH TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY,

YOU'RE GONE TOO MUCH, YOU'RE NOT TAKING THE RIGHT TIME

TO SOW INTO YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, IT'S GONNA OPEN A DOOR

FOR THE ENEMY AND THERE'S GONNA BE PROBLEMS IN THE FAMILY.

IF YOU ARE TOO SELFISH, IT'S GONNA CAUSE PROBLEMS.

BUT IF YOU NEVER SPEND ENOUGH TIME ON YOURSELF,

YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, THAT'S GONNA CAUSE PROBLEMS.

YOU CAN LOOK AT A THOUSAND DIFFERENT AREAS

AND SEE HOW IMPORTANT BALANCE IS.

AND WE HEAR A LOT ABOUT EATING BALANCED MEALS

SO EVEN FROM THAT GOD IS SHOWING US

THAT WE NEED ENOUGH PROTEIN, WE NEED ENOUGH CARBS,

WE NEED ENOUGH OF THIS, WE NEED ENOUGH OF THAT.

WE NEED TO HAVE BALANCE IN OUR LIVES AND YET

I THINK THAT MOST OF US REALIZE THAT AMERICANS IN PARTICULARLY

AND PROBABLY OTHER CULTURES IN THE WESTERN WORLD,

WE REALLY ARE BAD AT GETTING OUT OF BALANCE, AMEN?

FOR EXAMPLE, WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE WORK WAY TOO MUCH

AND THEY DON'T REST ENOUGH.

AND THEN THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE

WHO DON'T SLEEP ENOUGH.

WELL, THAT'S GONNA CAUSE YOU PROBLEMS.

AND SO I JUST WANT YOU TO REALIZE THAT IF YOU'RE

OUT OF BALANCE IN ANY AREA IN YOUR LIFE,

THE ENEMY IS GOING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.

IF YOU TALK TOO MUCH, THAT'S OUT OF BALANCE.

BUT THEN SOME PEOPLE DON'T COMMUNICATE ENOUGH

AND SO THAT'S OUT OF BALANCE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING,

YOU KNOW?

WE NEED BALANCE IN OUR LIFE.

CNN Boycotts WH Christmas Party, But Sarah's Priceless Comeback Is the Real Story - Duration: 3:25.

CNN Boycotts WH Christmas Party, But Sarah's Priceless Comeback Is the Real Story

After being exposed for nearly a year for peddling falsehoods and fake news, one liberal network will be boycotting President Donald Trumps White House Christmas Party.

As noted by New York Daily News, CNN announced Tuesday that it wouldnt attend the event amid tensions between the network and administration.

"In light of the President's continued attacks on freedom of the press and CNN, we do not feel it is appropriate to celebrate with him as invited guests, a CNN representative told The Hill.

We will send a White House reporting team to the event and report on it if news warrants.

The party is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, but it doesnt look like anyone is going to miss CNN.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders trolled the network on Tuesday via Twitter by writing, Christmas comes early! Finally, good news from CNN.

Trump also joined in on the fun, where he replied to Sanders tweet by saying, Great, and we should boycott Fake News CNN.

Dealing with them is a total waste of time!. CNN will likely continue to propagate this story as if its an attack on freedom of the press, but the network is actually proving that it cant handle someone expressing a differing opinion.

Trump hasnt limited CNNs capacity or role at the White House despite its extreme bias and tendency to peddle fake news.

Whether its being forced to retract a fake news story that falsely connected Trump's campaign members to Russian officials, or publishing a piece calling for the term fake news to be banned, the network has destroyed its own credibility.

Now, its just making things worse. CNN throwing a temper tantrum and boycotting a Christmas party because Trump has called the network out for its blatant bias is quite comical and revealing.

Guess CNN will never know how many scoops of ice cream Trump has at the party.

Please like and share this story if you agree that the White House Christmas Party will be much better without fake news CNN in attendance!.

Trump White House Patriotic Christmas Display Is MAGA - Duration: 4:21.

Trump White House Patriotic Christmas Display Is MAGA

On Monday first lady Melania Trump unveiled this years Christmas at the White House decorations, and besides being gorgeous, the chosen decorations are also immensely patriotic.

According to a statement by the White House, this years decorations include a Gold Star Family Tree that has been decorated with gold stars and patriotic ribbon and has tablets placed next to it that can be used by visitors to send messages to their loved ones overseas.

To be clear, former administrations, including that of former President Barack Obama, also featured a Gold Star Family Tree during Christmas — though some could reasonably argue that this years tree is a wee bit more beautiful, especially considering that, unlike Obama, our current president actually loves the military.

Also included in this years decorations is the official White House Christmas Tree, which the White House notes is decorated with glass ornaments depicting the seal of each State and territory;.

a room full of holiday treats that has been decorated with peppermints, candy, and cookies; and a room containing a replica of the White House in gingerbread form.

The primary difference between this years Christmas at the White House decorations and those of previous administrations is the theme.

As noted by the White House Historical Association, In 1961, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy began the tradition of selecting a theme for the official White House Christmas tree.

She decorated a tree placed in the oval Blue Room with ornamental toys, birds and angels modeled after Pyotr Tchaikovskys Nutcracker ballet.

Interestingly, this years chosen theme is called Time-Honored Traditions and was designed by Melania herself.

Accordingly, the Grand Foyer and Cross Halls have been transformed into a winter wonderland with dozens of full-size trees and fake snow placed throughout the open space in honor of Kennedys 1961 Nutcracker Suite, according to the Washington Examiner.

Yes, this years decorations are both beautiful and patriotic — though fair-minded observers would note that previous White House decorations have been the same — but the key differentiating factor is this years ode to tradition.

As with many families across the country, holiday traditions are very important to us, Melania said in the White House statement.

I hope when visiting the People's House this year, visitors will get a sense of being home for the holidays.

On behalf of my husband and Barron, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and joyous holiday season..

And we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas as well!.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about this years Christmas at the White House decorations.

Is the Market Really Growing Slower? - THE TRUTH! - Duration: 5:49.

Stop the presses!

People the market is growing slower than ever before!

It's almost not even worth putting your money in stocks, any gains that you get will be

wiped out by inflation!

And then what if the market goes down?

What if it goes down?!

Somebody hit the panic button!

Hey guys Daniel here from Next Level life and today we're going to be covering a question

that I'm sure you have seen at some point in well a lot of the financial articles over

the last few years and that is whether or not the market is actually growing at a slower

Pace than it was in the past.

I've heard a lot of people say that the last fifteen have been the worst in the stock market's

history.

But is that really true?

Is the market really growing slower than ever before?

And if it is true then is it still worth it to invest?

Well the answer is a little bit tricky, because as is the case with a lot of financial questions

the answer is it depends.

And it depends on a few factors, the first is what time frame are you using to make the

claim?

For example if you look from September of 2000 to september of 2017 when this audio

is being recorded, then there's no question that the Market's been growing slower than

usual.

Like I've said in previous videos the S&P 500 has grown at a rate of about 8.6 percent

per year from September of 1978 to September of 2017.

Which is way more than the 2.5 percent per year rate from September 2000 to September

2017.

However that's basically starting from the absolute peak of the market before the crash

and only looking at a short time period to gather your results.

It usually takes a few years for the market to rebound.

You could also say that the market is growing faster than ever before if you were to look

at September of 2009 until September 2017.

During that time period the market is growing at about 13% per year on average.

But of course that has the same problem in reverse you're starting from basically the

bottom of the market and examining only a short window of time to back up your claim.

And what's more is you're not taking into account all the factors.

In essence you're almost asking the wrong question.

Because whether the market is or is not actually growing at a slower rate than before isn't

the most important thing to know.

The most important thing to know is what's happening to our individual buying power.

Because money is only as good as what it can buy.

One of my finance professors back in college always used to talk about how you could fall

asleep for a hundred years with a couple thousand dollars invested in the stock market and when

you wake up you realize that you all of a sudden had $1,000,000 invested in the market

and you'd be thrilled.

You'd call all your buddies and tell them that you're taking them out for dinner,

and it's on you.

Then you go to the local McDonald's and realize that one Big Mac is going to run you 2 Grand.

Suddenly you don't feel as Rich anymore.

So again money is only as good as what it can buy.

And also I like how the character in this example realizes that he's a millionaire

and the first place he thinks to take his friends is still McDonald's (chuckle)...

I'm sure there's a lesson about the power of habit in there somewhere.

Or maybe this particular character was just cartoonishly frugal-

Anyway getting back on topic.

In order to figure out what it can buy you also have to look at the CPI or Consumer Price

Index which is basically a way to get an idea of inflation during a certain time period.

The CPI basically measures a weighted average of prices of a basket of consumer goods and

services including food, beverages, housing, apparel Transportation, medical care, Recreation,

education and some other goods and services and sees how quickly the prices for them change

over time..

And sometimes, though not always, you'll see that when the CPI is increasing very quickly

so is the market.

A great example of this would be between the years 1979 and 1983 during that time the market

was growing at an average of about 12 and a half percent per year however inflation

was just about keeping Pace with that.

We saw an 11% increase in the CPI in 1979 a 13% jump in 1980, a 10% boost in 1981, and

a 6% and 3% increase in '82 and '83 respectively.

That averages out to an inflation rate of almost 9% per year during that time.

Meaning that you're effective increase in buying power only increased by an average

of about three and a half percent per year from 1979 to 1983.

So when you look at it from a buying power perspective has the market really been doing

that bad these last 15 years?

As it turns out not really.

If you look at the market as a whole for the 40-year period from 1978 to 2017, you see

that it is grown at an average of 8.6 percent per year.

During that time the average inflation has been about 3.7% per year.

Meaning your increase in effective buying power during that time is about 4.9 percent

per year.

But in the last 15 years, so from 2003 through 2017 the market has grown at an average of

7.2 percent per year.

Which on the surface is lower, but the average inflation rate during that time has been 2.1

percent per year.

Meaning your average increase in effective buying power has been about 5.1 percent per

year.

So there you have it my friends technically if you look at it just from a market appreciation

standpoint the market is growing slower than before, but if you take into account what

you can actually do with the money that's appreciating it doesn't really look all that

bad.

But that'll about do it for me I hope you enjoyed the video and if you did or if you

learned something be sure to like And subscribe I've got a lot more of these Finance coming

out in the near future as well as some more book summaries and other fun stuff.

But with that being said, thanks for watching and have a great day.
