Waching daily Jul 6 2017

President Donald Trump on Thursday called North Korea's intercontinental ballistic missile

test 'very, very bad behavior' and said that there would be 'consequences' for Pyongyang's

belligerence.

Tuesday's launch marked a milestone in Pyongyang's decades-long drive to threaten the US mainland

with a nuclear strike, posing a tough policy challenge for Trump, who is has clashed with

Beijing over how to handle Kim Jong-Un's regime.

'I call on all nations to confront this global threat and publicly demonstrate to North Korea

that there are consequences for their very, very bad behavior,' Trump said in response

to a question from DailyMail.com.

'I have pretty severe things that we're thinking about,' he said, but added: 'That doesn't

mean that we'll do them.'

Trump made his comments during a joint press conference in Warsaw with Polish President

Andrzej Duda.

The whirlwind visit to Warsaw comes just days before he meets Russian President Vladimir

Putin.

He will next travel to Germany for Friday and Saturday's G20 summit.

Trump has repeatedly urged Pyongyang's chief backer China to rein in the Stalinist state

in, taking to Twitter this week to publicly berate Beijing for not squeezing the North

hard enough on trade.

China responded Thursday with a call for more moderate language from all sides.

'We also call on relevant parties to stay calm, exercise restraint, refrain from words

and deeds that may heighten tensions,' foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told reporters.

President Xi Jinping, who be attending this week's G20 summit with Trump in Hamburg, said

China was committed to denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula, but stressed this could

best be achieved through dialogue and negotiations, the Xinhua news agency reported.

Trump previously dismissed the idea of the North having a working ICBM, vowing it 'won't

happen,' but experts say the new missile could reach Alaska or even further towards the continental

US.

The test prompted the US and its ally South Korea to stage a joint missile drill aimed

at countering the North's threats, after South Korean President Moon Jae-In called for a

response beyond 'just words'.

Meanwhile, Pyongyang on Thursday warned that it would be a 'piece of cake' to destroy South

Korea, its state media reported.

The comments came as the state raged against Seoul for a joint missile drill with the US

following its landmark intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test.

The North's propaganda National Peace Committee for Korea criticised South Korean President

Moon Jae-in for denouncing Pyongyang 'instead of getting rejoiced over the praiseworthy

event' staged by its northern neighbour, according to the KCNA news agency.

Mocking the South as 'puppet military gangsters,' the KCNA report added: 'It will be as easy

as a piece of cake for the (North) to wipe out the puppet forces ... as we are now able

to destroy even the US mainland across the ocean.'

Left-leaning Moon, who has advocated dialogue with the North to bring it to negotiating

table, condemned the launch and joined calls for tighter sanctions on Pyongyang.

The latest test drew also widespread condemnation and prompted the US to push for new, tougher

sanctions against Pyongyang at an UN Security Council meeting held on Wednesday.

In a hard-hitting address to the UN Security Council, US Ambassador Nikki Haley said Tuesday's

ICBM test had made 'the world a more dangerous place,' and that Washington was ready to use

force if need be to deal with the threat of a nuclear-armed Pyongyang.

The North's leader Kim Jong-Un described the ICBM launch - staged on the US Independence

Day holiday - as a gift to 'American b******' and vowed to give more 'gift packages' to

the US in the future.

The impoverished North is already under onerous international sanctions imposed over its past

nuclear and missile tests held in violation of UN resolutions, which ban it from using

any ballistic or nuclear technologies.

Rubrics for Teachers and Students in onCampus - Duration: 5:38.

Hi! My name is Derek and I'm part of the K12 User

Education team here at Blackbaud.

Let's take a look at how teachers, parents, and

students work with Interactive Assignment Rubrics in onCampus

In education, Rubrics are a scoring guide and a

communication tool used by educators to

establish a set of expectations and criteria for grading.

With Interactive Assignment Rubrics, teachers

can create clear grading standards for any

onCampus assignment adding transparency to

the grading process for students and parents.

Teachers can create, edit and modify Rubrics

from Faculty > My Day > Rubrics.

Any rubrics they own appear in a list under My Rubrics.

Let's create a simple Rubric. First, select this green plus.

Next, add a Rubric Name, and then a description if needed.

Optionally, you can also associate the new

Rubric with a specific grade or department.

These associations, as well as the Rubric Name

and Description, are all searchable from the Rubric Bank.

Each rubric supports 3 evaluation methods:

Points

a Point Range

or Comment Only.

With Points and Point Range, you use the Rubric

to actually score the work and tie the grade to the

onCampus grade book. You can also add

comments if you want as well.

However, with Comment Only, the rubric only supports text

and you'll need to enter the assignment grade separately.

Once that's done, create the first skill.

These are the areas where students are

evaluated and graded such as grammar,

comprehension, and many others.

Add new proficiency levels for the skill ranging

from a mastery level to needing improvement. You

can also add a description of what is expected of the

student in order to achieve a specific proficiency.

When you're finished, select done to save and

exit, Add another to save and enter more, or

Cancel to start over.

When you add another, some information is pre-

populated for you, but you can change it.

When you're done, save the rubric.

The Rubric Bank is a communal area where

teachers and academic group managers can

view Rubrics created and shared by others.

Better yet, teachers can copy and add these

Rubrics to their personal list where they can

further edit and refine them for use.

From the bank, select the Rubric name to view it.

You can copy a rubric from here or from the title.

Select Add to my rubrics to add it to your personal list.

When creating a new assignment or editing an

existing ungraded one, select Associate rubric to

add a rubric from your My Rubrics list.

You can preview the selected Rubric from See

rubric to ensure the correct one is selected before it is added.

If there are no Rubrics to select, Associate rubric becomes disabled.

From the Section Assignments OR Assignment

Center, teachers can select the assignment title to

access Assignment details.

From the Assignment Detail, select a student

name to see shortcuts to mark an assignment

missing, incomplete, and many others. The option

to evaluate with a rubric is also found here.

Remember, you can no longer make edits to a

rubric once it has been used to evaluate at least

one student on a given assignment.

From here, you can select proficiency levels for each skill.

If the evaluation method is either Points or Point

Values, each proficiency contains a specific

value that increases a total score counter. Once

finished, the point total represents the student's final score.

A rubric using the Comment only evaluation

method will not tally points and only allow comments.

However, you can add a grade separately in the grade book.

You can control when a rubric gets published to

students and parents whether done in batches or individually.

This indicator appears within the Assignment

Detail for grades that have not yet been

committed. When ready, select Commit grades &

post rubrics to commit grades and publish to students and parents.

Comment Only rubrics become available to

students/parents immediately after a teacher evaluates with them.

When the assignment is published, students and

parents with access to assignments can view

the blank Rubric from Assignment Details.

Reviewing the rubric before completing the

assignment is encouraged as it helps provide a

better understanding of what is expected.

Once the grades are committed by the teacher,

students and parents can then view the rubric

from the Assignment detail in the Assignment

Center or Course Section Assignments.

Under Evaluation, select See rubric to view the

point totals and any comments the teacher may have left.

Alternatively, access Rubrics from My Day >

Progress > Courses by selecting See grade details then See rubric.

Rubrics that use a letter grade, also display the

total number of points that student earned on the

assignment, while the grade book simply shows the translated letter grade.

Rubrics, make sure to check out our online help center documentation.

As always, thanks for watching!

Roberto Firmino: Are Liverpool set for 3rd-season magic from their new No. 9? - Duration: 8:16.

Roberto Firmino: Are Liverpool set for 3rd-season magic from their new No. 9?

As Roberto Firmino celebrates two years in a Liverpool shirt, all signs point towards him finding another gear in his third season at Anfield.

The time has flown by since Firmino was signed from Hoffenheim for £29 million on July 6, 2015, in a move that left many excited about what the Brazilian had to offer.

A rather inauspicious start saw the 25-year-old struggling to adapt to the frenetic nature of the Premier League, not helped by Brendan Rodgers inexplicably using him in a right-sided role.

The arrival of Jurgen Klopp after just two months of the 2015/16 campaign changed everything, however, and slowly but surely we saw the real Firmino emerge.

Whisper it quietly, but some cynics even wonder if Klopp had already been lined up as Liverpool's new boss in the summer of 2015, with Firmino a player he had always been very fond of.

As each month has passed, we have seen Firmino showcase his brilliance, combining a beautiful blend of touch, awareness, creativity, goals and work ethic.

Despite the ex-Hoffenheim forward becoming a key man, particularly when surrounded by players on his wavelength, there are still concerns that his goalscoring record is not good enough.

Twenty-two goals in 90 appearances is a little light for someone who has predominantly been used as a striker, leading to many calling for more of an out-and-out marksman to arrive this summer.

Klopp is seemingly happy with the options at his disposal, though, with Firmino once again set to lead the line in 2017/18. And after taking the No. 9 shirt last worn by Christian Benteke, a big season is required.

Not many Liverpool players possess the effortless natural ability of Firmino, and when he is full flow, he is a joy to watch.

His ability to dovetail with the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane helped make the Reds the best team in the country last autumn, and the unselfish nature of his game can sometimes work against him.

Although there is plenty working in Firmino's favour, he can still go up a significant level, and become one of the Premier League's outstanding players.

Goals are far from the be all and end all for him, assuming those around him are also chipping in consistently, but he must be looking to become somewhere close to a 20-goal man.

The goals of Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, Sergio Aguero, Diego Costa and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were so priceless for Liverpool's rivals last season, with the quintet often coming up trumps when their teams were having an off-day.

Firmino needs to be that player more for the Reds, delivering in tight matches and displaying more of a ruthless edge in front of goal. Though he does, of course, have attributes that those strikers do not possess.

The South American is a more-than-capable finisher, as he proved with a number of well-taken efforts, but it is the one area of his game that prevents him from being an elite footballer.

You don't back him to take a big chance in an important match, particularly in comparison to those mentioned, along with team-mate Daniel Sturridge. Give him Sturridge's coolness in front of goal, and he would be something special.

Various examples jump out from last season when it comes to this inconsistent level of finishing, but the one-on-one at Man City in March, when Liverpool were 1-0 up, perfect sums Firmino up.

Klopp's men eventually drew the game 1-1, and two precious points were dropped.

Had a goalscorer of the highest order been gifted that chance, things could have been so different—so fine are the margins in the modern game, moments such as those can win or lose you trophies.

Integral.

Despite this slight weakness to his game and a need to improve, Firmino will head into the new season as one of Liverpool's key men.

Whenever the slick forward plays well, so do the Reds, and he is someone who brings the best out in his fellow attacking team-mates.

Whether supporters like it or not, Klopp looks set to keep faith in Firmino as his first-choice striker, with Liverpool's reluctance to challenge Arsenal for the signing of Alexandre Lacazette an indication that the manager is content with what he has.

Firmino can be the perfect foil for the rapid duo of Mane and Mohamed Salah, creating space for them to run into, as well as interchanging at will.

Likewise, individuals such as Coutinho, Adam Lallana, Gini Wijnaldum and, if he signs, Naby Keita, will all benefit from playing with him. Klopp is someone who cherishes subtle footballers, and Firmino is exactly that.

He will always struggle when he doesn't have runners and creators in and around him, or is shifted out wide, but when he is provided the support, he can often look Liverpool's best player.

Having only narrowly reached double figures in his first two seasons in all competitions, it is time that the goal tally starts to increase.

Firmino is close to being the complete package, and if he can suddenly find another level, much like Luis Suarez did at the same age—no pressure, Bobby—he will be considered an elite centre-forward.

Having steadily got better and better since making the move from Germany two years ago, season No. 3 has to be his best yet. If the finishing remains iffy, and Liverpool drop points because of it, the pressure will be on.

Liverpool announce likely pre-season return date for Sadio Mane after knee injury - Duration: 2:32.

Liverpool announce likely pre-season return date for Sadio Mane after knee injury

Liverpool have revealed that Sadio Mane is expected to join his team-mates for pre-season training within the next 10 days, after a long-term knee injury.

Mane missed the last two months of 2016/17 after buckling under a challenge from Leighton Baines in the Reds' 3-1 victory over Everton in April.

The 25-year-old underwent surgery on his left knee later that month, and has spent the summer in rehabilitation at Melwood, aiming for a return for pre-season.

After Jurgen Klopp's squad made their way back for training on Wednesday, Mane was not pictured alongside his team-mates, despite previous suggestions he would be fit to take part.

However, Liverpool have now confirmed that Mane is likely to link up with the rest of the squad at some stage over the next 10 days.

This means he should miss the Reds' first two friendlies of the summer, coming away to Tranmere Rovers on July 12 and Wigan Athletic on July 14.

But he will likely be available for the Premier League Asia Trophy in Hong Kong, where Liverpool will take on Crystal Palace (July 19) and either Leicester City or West Brom (July 22).

He could be fielded alongside summer signing Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian expected to join the squad for the trip to the Far East.

It must be stressed that there has been no setback in Mane's recovery, with the club reiterating that he is "on schedule," having begun outdoor work as he works his way back.

Mane scored 13 goals and assisted a further eight in 29 appearances for the Reds last season.

Liverpool legend hails "fantastic" Roberto Firmino for establishing consistency in attack - Duration: 3:55.

Liverpool legend hails "fantastic" Roberto Firmino for establishing consistency in attack

John Barnes is a huge admirer of Roberto Firmino, with the Liverpool legend describing him as having the potential to be the Reds' best player.

It is exactly two years since Firmino moved to Liverpool from Hoffenheim for £29 million, and he has grown into a player of real stature.

Under Jurgen Klopp, the 25-year-old has blossomed into a superb centre-forward, with his subtle brilliance making him a key component of the Reds' attack. Barnes knows a talented footballer when he sees one, and he has great admiration for Firmino's many qualities.

He believes the Brazilian has become more consistent over time, and doesn't believe he needs to score more goals—as long as those around him are delivering. "He has been fantastic," Barnes told LiverpoolFC. com.

"It's difficult, coming to the Premier League as a South American—yes, he was playing in Germany—and particularly the type of player he is.

"He has got fantastic ability. When you look at him, when you look at the way he plays, moves and controls the ball, his awareness, he doesn't look quick but he's quick and he moves the ball around.".

"I felt he was a little bit inconsistent when he first came," he added.

"Of course, coming from South America and playing in the German league, which is not as frenetic as it is here, I didn't think he would adapt as he did.

"But in the big games, the hard games and the tough games he just got better and better and better.

"It was 'Is he going to be able to maintain it?' I think he was probably one of our most consistent players in the last half of last season.

"I'm so pleased for him, because you know the ability he has. Because of his style, there are times when games are going well and he's fantastic, he's the best player.

"When he has to work and games get tough, in the early days you could see him dropping out of them—whereas now, he has been fantastic.

"We have a lot of players like that [who can score goals] with Mane, Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana and now also Salah coming in. "We will have a lot of firepower without necessarily having one person to score all the goals.

There have been calls from some quarters for Klopp to sign a more potent striker this summer, but Firmino looks set to be first choice going into 2017/18.

He is the perfect foil for his attacking team-mates, and while it would be nice to him score more, it shouldn't be seen as the be all and end all.

Technological Stability & Preparing for the Hype | Numerix Video Blog - Duration: 5:10.

Jim Jockle (Host): You brought up last year's hype, the blockchain.

We can go all the way back.

Predictive analytics, big data, unstructured data, internet of things, and the list goes

on.

One of my personal favorites – cloud.

Arguably the cloud is finally here.

Out of the laundry list over the past 8 years, what's real?

What is the reality of these technologies that are coming into institutions today?

Paul Rowady (Guest): So, I think this is a great example of where we will likely find

a topic like blockchain or distributed ledger technology 3-5 years from now.

You're just now beginning to see the early production versions of last year's hype

or the last 18 months' worth of hype.

So, if we were to take that template and place it on the cloud, you go back a few years and

cloud had its day in the sun in terms of its early stages of the hype cycle.

Now, there's maturity and there's real adoption and there's a growing spectrum

of use cases.

There's many, many firms now of all shapes, and sizes, and flavors that were born in the

cloud.

We've discovered at Alphacution, given the way that we're modeling the ecosystem; I

think that one of the things that has really caused a tipping point for the adoption is

given the previous discussion about having the right-size, their spending models.

And that with macro-drivers being as they were, low volatility, low interest rate, the

profitability of a lot of the segments of a traditional banking platform, banking financial

services conglomerate, was that the performance wasn't there, it puts strain on budgets,

and yet you have this regulatory interventionism.

So, you have to find places to invest in risk and reporting and compliance and surveillance

and what happened is that came out of the hardware budget because they had to expand

their software budget and end up coming out of the hardware budget and it ended up sort

of helping the tipping point into the cloud.

Not only was cloud becoming mature enough, but the big players started to say, you know

what, I can't manage this proprietary data center myself.

It really is a very complicated thing to do on a proprietary basis and I really need to

find new sources of budget because I have these regulations I have to meet or I'm

going to suffer potentially billions and billions of dollars' worth of fines.

So, I wrote a piece, I don't know a while ago, called crowding out.

Which is the need to expand certain software budgets crowded out the hardware budgets and

forced or at least contributed to the tipping point of adoption into the cloud.

Which, I think now you see a robust, roster of players big and small that are very active

in essentially infrastructure as a service.

Jockle: So, we've now seen, 5, 6, 7, 8 years' post crisis of significant IT spending.

What are you seeing in terms of shifts in the league table.

Who's getting it right in terms of changing their return on equity profile?

Rowady: The leaders, and this goes buy-side, sell-side, and I've mentioned some names

before in the past, leading hedge funds, leading asset managers, leading banks and financial

services platforms, they tend to hold onto their lead, because they're leading they

tend to be looking out over their skis instead of laying back and being in a defensive posture

and waiting for extraordinary levels of confirmation before they adopt.

There's a culture of innovation, there's a culture of forward thinking.

Jockle: So, is there movements within the mid-markets?

Or the mid-market players?

Rowady: I'll have to reserve comment on that one because we're just in the midst,

like for instance we're just starting to embark on a series of really cool studies

and we'll get to talking about this I think on the buy-side.

What are the patterns with asset managers, what are the patterns with hedge funds and

how is that all moving.

Can we stratify from what we call the visionaries, the leaders, of which in any category there

really aren't that many?

There's really just a handful and though others will try and talk their way into that

league, they just don't have the culture and the capability to actually perform in

that way.

Jon Flanagan hoping for "fresh start" under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool this season - Duration: 3:45.

Jon Flanagan hoping for "fresh start" under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool this season

After a disappointing loan spell with Burnley last season, Liverpool full-back Jon Flanagan is hoping he can make a "fresh start" under Jurgen Klopp.

Flanagan was among the 20 players to begin outdoor training on the first day of the Reds' pre-season on Wednesday, returning after a spell at Turf Moor.

The 24-year-old made just 10 appearances for the Clarets in all competitions last term, spending another 25 games as an unused substitute in a largely fruitless campaign.

Having suffered a nightmare knee injury in the closing stages of that season, the full-back has been unable to put together a regular run of games—but pre-season serves up an opportunity.

"It feels good [to be back]. Obviously it's our first day of pre-season today and I'm glad to be back, raring to go," he told LiverpoolFC.com. "I've been doing work over the summer, trying to keep fit and ticking over.

"We know it's going to be a tough pre-season so it's vitally important for me to come back raring to go and in good shape. "I can't wait to get started. I think it's a bit of a fresh start.

"I had a few injuries [but] hopefully they're past me now and hopefully I can kick on and show what I can do.

Once considered one of the most promising youngsters at Anfield, establishing himself as a key player in Liverpool's title challenge under Brendan Rodgers in 2013/14, Flanagan is now on the fringes.

Klopp currently has Nathaniel Clyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold as his right-back options, while James Milner has cemented himself as the German's first-choice left-back.

Alberto Moreno is expected to leave the club this summer, but Klopp is reportedly targeting another left-back signing, with Hull City's Andrew Robertson the most likely arrival.

This would leave Flanagan as third-choice cover for both positions, which is far from ideal for a 24-year-old.

He enjoys a rare affinity with the Merseyside faithful, as a local lad who has made his way through the academy ranks, but it is unlikely Flanagan will be content with a backup role.

Flanagan has stressed he now feels fully fit after his long-term knee problems, and pre-season will give him a chance to impress.

Clyne, Milner and Alexander-Arnold are already back for summer preparations too, however, as well as another full-back in Connor Randall, so he still faces a fight to prove himself.

How To Find The Right Foundation For Your Skin With Mi-Anne Chan | Beauty In A Snap | Refinery29 - Duration: 4:19.

Hey guys.

This is Mi-Anne, Beauty Editor at Refinery29

and this is Beauty in a Snap.

I have three coworkers here

who each have very different skin tones,

but one very common problem,

which is the difficulty of finding foundations

at the drugstore that match them.

I got three foundations from the drugstore

that I personally really like that I think

you might be familiar with.

And I'm going to help my friends

get color matched!

We both know that it's really hard to find

drugstore foundation that matches.

What would you say is your biggest problem?

My biggest problem is that

I'm pretty pale and sort of neutral toned and I have a lot

of trouble finding drugstore shades that match

without being able to test them all.

A lot of them turn out too yellow on me

or just too dark.

Sometimes it's just a little bit too yellow

or too pink and it dries out my skin a lot.

Especially being someone obviously with brown skin,

the choices are just a little more limited.

So when I'm going in I'm having to scour the shelves to

look for something that'll match my skin tone.

And you don't have the option to try it on

which makes it even harder.

I've got a few foundations for you.

So we have a warmer skin tone,

but if you guys don't know how to figure it out you

can test it really easily.

I like to call it the vein test.

Depending on what color your veins are that

will help you determine your undertones.

So, my veins are kind of bluish and greenish.

If you have blue veins, it means you kind of have

a rosier, pinker undertone.

If they're green you have more of

a yellow base undertone.

If you have a mixture of the two,

you have a more neutral skin tone which means you can

kind of get away with wearing either kind of foundation.

Mine are definitely on the green side.

So you definitely have more of a yellow undertone

so you might want to gravitate toward more

yellow, less pink foundations.

You have a lot of green here as well.

I think that you obviously know that you like

yellow foundations already, so we should test

these out.

Let's start with the lightest one.

This is ivory.

I think I'll go with the darker tone first.

I think I can use some of these to sort of

blend out and lighten them to match me.

So most people think that you can swatch your

foundation on your hand and you're good

to go.

That's not always the case.

You know different colors of our skin

are on different parts of our body.

So I always think that if you want to get

a true face and neck match, you want to do

it on your jawline here.

Yes, perfect.

And then do it to the next foundation you have.

And then you do it to the last foundation.

Let's see if we blend them into your skin

what kind of effect that has.

You're gonna want to go with the foundation

that just disappears into your skin.

It looks like I don't even have any makeup

on in the second one.

Exactly.

I think that may be the one.

I think that's the winner.

The Warm Nude Beige.

I think this one's working best.

It's blending in really nice and it's light.

Is that the one that's blending into your skin right away?

The other one was a little bit too ivory and

the other one was too dark.

I think that Beautifully Bronze shade is

a pretty good match for you.

I think that this is my match.

I'm pretty excited about trying it out.

I know I'm excited to see what it looks like

because it'll give us a better picture.

How do you like it?

I really like this because it's really lightweight.

I've been using the same makeup since high school,

and so it's kind of nice finding

a new foundation that's blending with my skin,

feels light and not too heavy.

What do you think?

Nancy has amazing skin to begin with.

Thank you.

Does she need foundation?

No.

Now that I have a drugstore brand that's

a pretty perfect match honestly,

I think I could try doing

drugstore foundations and concealers.

It's sort of the one thing I've stayed away from

in the drugstore realm, where I love mascaras.

It's really blending into your skin really well.

What are your overall thoughts?

Would you purchase this foundation?

I think it's a great substitute for what

my higher-end powder would be.

It's definitely cost-efficient.

It's under 10 bucks.

What's so great about it being such an affordable

foundation is you can buy a few and throughout

the year, if you need to color match,

if you need to mix the foundations, it's really easy to.

You can just put it on the back of your

hand a few pumps.

If you're feeling like it's a little bit too light

or too dark you can add a little

bit of the darker shade, the lighter shade.

So it's really nice to be able to customize

your foundation in a way that isn't going

to totally break the bank.

Thanks so much for watching guys!

As you can see, there are many, many foundations

at the drugstore and you can definitely find

one that works for you through trial and error.

See you next time!

make sure to check out Part 1 of our video series.

For this next segment, you should already

understand the fundamentals of onBoard Contracts.

If you need more information about the basics

of onBoard contracts, check out these resources:

After you set up the Smart Tuition integration,

it'll be active by default whenever you create

a contract in onBoard.

If a contract shouldn't be linked to Smart Tuition,

you can deactive the integration when you

create that contract on onBoard.

If your school set up onBoard Contracts before

the Smart Tuition integration, you'll need to convert them.

To do this, edit the settings of the existing

onBoard contract, and then select Activate Smart Tuition Integration.

When Smart Tuition is active, the original onBoard

section Formats, Blocks, and Text remain.

Fees and Payment Plans aren't copied over.

You must set them up before generating contracts.

Give the converted contract a new name and

save it as active. It'll convert into a Smart Contract.

Remember:

To review the original onBoard Contract,

use the sidebar filters and view the archived version.

You can also revert a Smart Contract back

to an onBoard Contract, but you'll lose any

changes made to Sections, Blocks, or Text.

Since Smart Tuition is the master database for

your Fees, Payment Plans, and Payment Methods,

you'll only need to maintain this information in

one system instead of in both spots.

Select Add within the Fee Schedule for Required,

Optional, or Enrollment Fees to see a complete list

of fees you previously set up in Smart Tuition.

You can then enable as many of the fees as

needed to have them appear on the contract for the payer.

For Financial Aid, you can opt to hide this information

from the payer or enable it to display the Financial

Aid Types you have previously mapped to the

corresponding Smart Tuition discounts. Just like

the other fees, when Add is selected, previously

mapped Financial Aid options appear and can be enabled as needed.

In addition, when you update payment plans, you

also choose from plans you previously set up in Smart Tuition.

While families can continue to log into the admin

console of Smart Tuition to view fees, payment

plans, or payment methods, they'll need to contact

their Smart Tuition Account Manager to make any

additions or edits. The other steps for creating

Contracts are the same as they were without Smart enabled.

Use the Responsible Signer option to control

which users related to the incoming or re- enrolling

students can complete the contract.

By default, any users related to the student who

have Parental Access and are Listed as Parent

are also Responsible Signers.

You can manage these relationships

from Candidate or Student records.

Please note:

When you use the onBoard Contracts/Smart

Integration, it only supports two Responsible

Signers on the contract.

Therefore, we strongly recommend you review

your records. Use the Contract View Access report

under Analyze > Reports to check for contracts

with more than two Responsible Signers.

Any contracts with more than two Responsible Signers

won't be generated. An alert will indicate if you

have contracts with too many signers, so you

can review and update those records.

Contracts with two or fewer Responsible

Signers will still be generated.

For more detailed information about the

onBoard Contracts/Smart Tuition integration

make sure to check out the online help and

the other videos in this series.

As always, thanks for watching!

Chelsea back in for Fernando Llorente with Diego Costa on Atletico Madrid radar despite ban - Duration: 3:49.

Chelsea back in for Fernando Llorente with Diego Costa on Atletico Madrid radar despite ban

CHELSEA are back in for Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente, according to reports. Antonio Conte was desperate to land the Spaniard in January, but the target man ultimately elected to stay in South Wales to help Swansea beat relegation.

Chelsea are back in for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente – despite his broken arm.

The Spaniard played for Antonio Conte at Juventus and scored 15 Premier League goals last season. With Diego Costa apparently hours away from returning to Atletico Madrid – despite their transfer ban – Conte will again chase his former striker.

The Times report that the Blues still see Llorente, 32, as a viable back-up option as they plot another Premier League trophy and a deep run in the Champions League.

The former Athletic Bilbao star, who won a Serie A title under Conte with Juventus, was crucial to Swansea staying in the top flight last season. In May he said: I know Chelsea wanted me in January.

I said straight away that I wanted to stay here. We were fighting relegation, there was a cause. I could not go..

He scored 15 Premier League goals, including two in a crucial win against Burnley in early March and four in the final five games to help Paul Clements team pick up 13 points out of a possible 15.

Fernando Llorente player profile Born in Pamplona, Spain in 1985 Joined Athletic Bilbao at the age of 11 and went onto play 333 times for the club After leaving Bilbao in 2013 he joined Juventus and won three league titles But he struggled to play regular first-team football and returned to Spain this time with Sevilla in 2015 Just a year later he joined Sswansea and scored crucial goals to keep them in the Premier League Finished the clubs top scorer with 15 and was linked with a switch to Chelsea Has 24 caps for Spain and seven goals.

But Llorente now has just a year left on his contract and could be available for a cut-price fee.

As SunSport revealed last week, the striker broke his arm while cycling on holiday but will be fit for the start of the new season.

Chelsea have been looking at a number of different striking options after Costas public row with Conte all but ended his time in west London.

Diego Costa is expected to report back for pre-season training at Cobham.

Romelu Lukaku finished as Evertons top scorer last season with 25 Premier League goals.

Romelu Lukaku had been their No 1 target – although Manchester United are now trying to hijack that move with a £100million deal with Everton that includes Wayne Rooney.

The Blues are close to sealing their £34million deal for German defender Antonio Rudiger from Roma.

Rubrics for Academic Group Managers in onCampus - Duration: 3:58.

Hi! My name is Derek and I'm part of the K12 User

Education team here at Blackbaud.

Let's take a closer look at how academic group

managers work with Interactive Assignment

Rubrics in onCampus.

Rubrics in onCampus let you create clear grading

standards for all class assignments.

Teachers typically use rubrics to:

Help communicate expectations and constructive

feedback to students and parents.

Ensure consistent scoring for assignments.

Help students learn to evaluate the quality of their own work.

Provide an objective measurement for tracking student growth.

If you've created a Rubric that other faculty or

departments could benefit from, why not share it?

The Rubric Bank is a communal area where

teachers and academic group managers can

view rubrics created and shared by others.

Any rubric template created by academic group

managers appear in the Rubric Bank for teachers

to discover, copy, and associate with assignments.

The Rubric Bank can be accessed by going to

onCampus > Procedure > Academics > Manage Rubric Bank.

Academic group managers must first enable

sharing from the Rubric Bank permissions

so teachers are able to share and add thier own rubrics.

By default, the value is set to Allow.

Let's create a simple rubric:

First, select this green plus.

Next, add a Rubric Name and then a

description if needed.

Optionally, you can also associate the new rubric

with a specific grade or or department.

These associations, as well as the Rubric Name

and Description, are all searchable from the Rubric Bank.

Each rubric supports 3 evaluation methods:

Points, a Point Range, or Comment Only.

With Points and Point Range, you use the rubric to

actually score the work and tie the grade to the

onCampus Grade Book.

You can also add comments if you want as well.

However, with Comment Only, the rubric only

supports text and you'll need to enter the

assignment grade separately.

Once that's done, create the first skill.

These are the areas where students are evaluated

and graded, such as grammar, comprehension, and many others.

Add new proficiency levels for the skill, ranging

from a mastery level to needing improvement.

You can also add a description of what is

expected of the student in order to achieve a

specific proficiency.

When you're finished, select done to save and exit,

Add another to save and enter more, or

Cancel to start over.

When you add another, some information is

pre-populated for you, but you can always change it.

When you're done, save the rubric.

The rubric templates you create appear in a

filterable list. A context menu enables you to

Print, Edit, Duplicate, and Delete any rubrics as well.

Select the rubric title to preview it, along with

Next and Previous to review all of your rubrics.

If for any reason your school does NOT want

teachers to use rubrics in onCampus, a

platform manager can hide rubrics from the teacher view.

Access is role based so it impacts all teachers

and can't be set for individuals.

Select Core > Users/Access > Profile to modify rubrics access.

Next, select Manage Roles and find the role you

want to update. In this example, select Teacher.

Under Tasks, you can remove rubrics completely

by disabling My Rubrics. This prevents teachers

from adding, editing, and working with Rubrics in general.

For more detailed information about onCampus

Rubrics, make sure to check out our help center documentation.

As always, thanks for watching!

Payer Experience for ON Contracts with Smart Tuition - Duration: 5:14.

Hi! My name is Derek and I'm part of the K12

User Education team here at Blackbaud.

The final video in the Smart Tuition series

shows what the experience is like for the end

user and payer. By the way, make sure to check

out our previous videos on Smart Tuition.

Part 1 gives a detailed look at setting up the

integration. Part 2 focuses on building contracts

with Smart.

When a parent or guardian logs in, a banner at

the top alerts them if they have Contracts to review.

They can also access Contracts within Files and Forms.

When parents or guardians select the Contract,

the product detects whether that user previously

used the Smart SSO from your "ON" Resource

Board. If a Smart Family Account already exists,

then the user goes straight to the first available

tab in the Contract. When the user selects tuition

plan selections, they're automatically linked to that

Smart account. If the integration doesn't detect an

existing Smart Family Account, the

parent or guardian will need to make a choice.

If the user previously used Smart, they can enter

their Smart login credentials to link the accounts.

If the user does not, have a Smart Account they

should select No. A new Smart Family Account

will be automatically provisioned when they

submit the Contract.

Once you confirm the student for this contract,

you're taken to the Fee Schedule where schools

present a list of any Required, Optional, or Enrollment Fees.

Optional Fees, such as Tuition Insurance, can be

enabled or left disabled if not needed. The total

amount due displays at the bottom.

For split households, the option to split payments

is also available. Select Yes to enable the option

which splits the tuition, non-enrollment fees, and

financial aid rewards 50-50. If the first payer selects

No, the full total resides with the first payer and

the second payer does not have the option of

selecting a seperate account.

Please note: the first payer should not complete

the student enrollment until the second payer creates

a separate Smart account. Failure to wait puts

the full tuition and fees on the first payer's account.

For Payment Plans, the parent or guardian sees

Manage Billing Information, Select a Payment Plan

& Method, Review Terms and Conditions.

By default, the user's Home address from their

"ON" profile is listed for Billing. But the user can

edit it to enter an alternative billing address.

Please note: If the user changes the billing

address, it will only be stored in Smart Tuition. It

won't be stored in the "ON" user profile.

When a user chooses a Payment Plan, Payment

Methods appear based on the Smart Tuition

setup. Users then enter the necessary

information to use the Payment Method of

their choice and determine bill dates. Please note:

If you want to pass credit card processing fees

to the payer, the Smart Integration supports that.

Users select Tuition Insurance if their plan uses it.

They aren't enrolled in Tuition Insurance when

they select it; rather this is an indicator for your insight.

The integration also pulls in the Smart Tuition Terms and Conditions.

A blue notification appears at the top of the

Payment Plan tab. It enables the user to skip the

tuition payment plan selection step if they are

only supposed to sign the contract.

Remember, the Smart Tuition integration supports

up to two responsible signers for the contract.

When the second signer accesses the Payment

Plan tab, he or she can choose to review the

Payment Plan selections made by the first signer

or set up a second Smart Family Account with

unique selections.

This second option supports split households.

Smart Tuition supports up to 2 Family Accounts

per Student. The integration assumes there is a

50/50 split in financial responsibility between the

two signers. Users should contact Smart Tuition

directly to make any adjustments for their arrangement.

Credit Card details will never be shared with the

second signer under any circumstance.

The parent or guardian should review their Tuition

Management Plan Selection, submit it, and then

proceed to the Deposit section of the contract.

The Deposit Screen shows their Deposit Amount

(minus any deposit rule exceptions), as well their

additional Enrollment Fees.

The user chooses a payment method (including

using the same credit card they have set up as

their Tuition payment method).

Processing fees can be passed to the payer.

The Deposit will be processed and managed

within Smart Tuition to facilitate reconciling payments.

If a family has multiple children attending the

school, onBoard Enrollment Contracts must be filled out for each child.

When the parents/guardians fill out subsequent

contracts, the integration detects and uses the

Smart Family Account linked or provisioned during

the first contract submission.

For more detailed information about onBoard

Contracts/Smart Tuition Integration, make sure to

check out our help center documentation

including the other videos in this series.

As always, thanks for watching!

Merkel pledges support for President Moon's initiative to rein in North Korea - Duration: 2:16.

Moon also held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The two leaders agreed the best way to secure peace on the Korean peninsula, despite Pyongyang's

latest missile launch,... is dialogue.

Oh Jung-hee shares with us what was discussed.

On his first visit to Germany as president, Mr. Moon Jae-in received a warm, red carpet

welcome replete with a military honor guard from German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.

Germany's head of government greeted President Moon and his team as they arrived for an official

visit upon the Chancellor's invitation.

Although the two had been expected to discuss a variety of issues ranging from North Korea

to bilateral trade and joint action against global problems... taking center stage were

the two leaders' call for tougher sanctions against North Korea.

Reuters 3121

"Yesterday, North Korea fired the most highly developed missile to date.

This is naturally a grave threat to peace on the Korean peninsula as well as to the

rest of the world.

. . We must come up with even stronger sanctions

on an international level to put a halt to North Korea's provocations."

.

Mr. Moon will also use the G20 summit in Hamburg this week to drum up support for tougher sanctions

against Pyongyang.

Reuters 3121

"However, in the end, I believe North Korea's nuclear issue must be solved through peaceful

means and I would like to ask for Chancellor Merkel's utmost support and cooperation."

. .

Reuters 3121

"I can assure you that Germany stands with the Korean people to send a clear signal that

we are against this missile program, against nuclear weapons and we want to campaign for

peace together."

Earlier in the day, South Korea's first couple received another welcome from the German

head-of-state, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The two presidents saw eye-to-eye on the need to take up all measures possible to denuclearize

North Korea.

President Moon Jae-in lays out his vision for peace on the Korean Peninsula - Duration: 2:30.

President Moon Jae-in delivered a speech at the Korber Foundation in Berlin.

Addressing the world and likely a personal message to North Korea, he explained his policies

toward the regime and his action plans to establish peace on the Korean peninsula.

Hwang Hojun starts us off with what's likely the highlight of the liberal leader's trip

to Germany.

Ahead of his first global meeting in Hamburg, South Korean President Moon Jae-in addressed

the audience at the Korber Foundation in Berlin and declared his willingness to carry out

dialogue with the North Korean regime.

"Under the right conditions, and if it can reverse the current tension and confrontation

on the Korean peninsula, I am willing to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at any

time and any place."

The comment was made as President Moon laid out his vision for peace on the Korean peninsula,

on Wednesday afternoon local time at the non-profit organization that provides a platform for

discussion on current political issues around the world.

President Moon also said that Pyongyang's actions were irresponsible, adding that the

latest provocation was regrettable as it happened less than a week after his return from Washington,

where he held a bilateral summit with U.S. President Trump.

Moon reiterated that Seoul and Washington agreed to denuclearize the Korean peninsula

through peaceful means.

He also highlighted that his administration doesn't wish the collapse of the North Korean

regime and thus, he will not push for an artificial reunification.

However, he condemned Pyongyang for pushing the limits.

"This is the last chance as well as the most propitious time for North Korea to make the

right decision because the increasing military tension is at its peak, and the necessity

for dialogue has never been more desperate."

President Moon said a complete, verifiable, and irreversible dismantlement of North Korea's

nuclear program will be the only way to ensure the safety of the regime.

Moon also pledged to seek humanitarian and non-political exchange efforts with North

Korea.

Such efforts would include the reunion of separated families by the Korean War and inviting

North Korea to participate in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics early next year.

The South Korean president also pledged to suspend hostile activities along the military

demarcation line, to secure peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
