"My Unusual Daughter".

She's really unusual.

Hello. I'm a mom of a girl in sixth grade,

who is the only child in my family.

My daughter

has always been unusual since she was a baby.

This is what happened when she was seven.

"Mom, my shoulders hurt."

"Please give me a massage."

- A seven-year-old girl said that? / - "All right."

"I'll give you a massage."

"Oh, that feels so good."

"Mom, harder. That feels good."

She was like that when she was seven?

At age seven, she was addicted to massages.

When she entered elementary school,

she was addicted to Chinese medicine.

Even adults can't drink Chinese medicine well due to

its bitterness, but she gulped it down at once.

She's now in grade six,

and she has become even worse.

She's so into K League Classic.

K League Classic.

- She can't get over it. / - My gosh.

"I'll direct all my passion"

"to soccer."

- She's a girl though. / - "Soccer is the best."

It makes me frustrated every day.

Please stop my daughter.

(Please stop my daughter.)

Hyunwoo, what did you like when you were 13?

Magic.

- Magic. / - I was into magic.

I was interested in magic since I was young.

When I entered high school,

I started learning magic in earnest.

A magic trick like this?

It's...

(What was it?)

You look like someone from long ago.

I'm sorry.

(It was a popular trick long ago.)

We'll invite the mother and have a talk.

Please come on out.

(Who is worried about her extraordinary daughter?)

(Park Kyeongyeon)

Is this right?

(Welcome to the show.)

Your daughter is interested in different things

- than those of her age. / - Yes, my daughter

is into things old men like.

My husband gave her a massage to grow taller.

She got addicted to massages since then

and asked us to give her massages nonstop.

We must apply high pressure like adults' massage

and massage her for over 30 minutes. "I'm fine now."

(You can now call it a massage!)

Does she really take Chinese medicine easily?

We went to an oriental medical clinic since she's weak.

After drinking it,

she said that it's really tasty.

- She liked Chinese medicine? / - Yes.

- Some are too bitter even for adults. / - I see.

For example, artemisia capillaris.

- Artemisia capillaris? / - That's way too bitter.

- It's bitter. / - She drinks it well.

- She drinks that? / - Yes.

(No way!)

We forced her to give up massages

and Chinese medicine.

I thought it'd be over once her addiction was gone.

However, she suddenly became crazy about soccer.

That's what I'm amazed at. She's a girl.

How addicted is she?

- She loves FC Seoul the most. / - FC Seoul.

I once went to a game with her.

Fans sing a cheer song before the game.

I looked at my daughter while she was singing the song.

She was crying while singing the song.

(Her daughter was crying beside her.)

Why?

- Why did she cry? / - Was it because she was moved?

- Was it because she was moved? / - Since it began?

Did she cry while saying, "the game has begun"?

- Gosh. / - I couldn't believe her.

- I didn't know why she cried. / - Amazing.

It wouldn't be a big problem though.

- Exactly. / - It's possible she likes it.

Her interest should only be her hobby,

but all she thinks about is soccer.

- All day long? / - She does nothing else.

She must go see the game at least once or twice a week.

- She goes to the stadium? / - She goes see the game?

Yes, she must go to the stadium and see the game.

Does she go alone?

- She can't go alone since it's far. / - Not alone.

If she had friends to go with, it'd be fine,

- but there's nobody. / - Nobody likes it at that age.

- Nobody at that age likes it. / - No one will like it.

My husband, me, or an adult should accompany her.

Honestly, I don't really like soccer.

Since I know nothing about it, I just sit there.

Going there together as a family,

- including the transportation costs, / - That's right.

it becomes quite a burden if we go several times.

With some food, you can easily spend over 100 dollars.

You'll spend more than that.

Worse than that, the problem begins after going there.

What does she do after returning home?

- She looks up the game online again. / - That's right.

- That's what you do if you love it. / - She analyzes.

However, it becomes way too late after watching it.

- She has school the next day. / - Exactly.

Once she's up in the morning, she becomes grumpy.

That's when we begin arguing, when a war breaks out.

"I'm never taking you to a game again."

We'll meet your daughter. What's her name?

It's Kim Eunhasoo.

- Eunhasoo. / - Eunhasoo.

Eunhasoo.

- Hello. / - Hello, Eunhasoo.

Hello.

Why did you wear that shirt today?

I got it as a gift on Children's Day.

- You got a soccer jersey on Children's Day. / - I see.

I wore it to show it off.

Stand up and show it off.

Explain it to us too.

I have my favorite player's number at the back.

- Dejan. / - It's Dejan.

His name is written at the back.

My mom set a limit on how much I can spend.

It costs more to engrave the name at the back.

- I added my allowance to buy this shirt. / - My gosh.

Many people here don't know who Dejan is.

Even I don't know who that is.

- Even I don't know. / - You don't know him, do you?

It's my first time hearing it.

Please tell us who he is. Where is he from?

Dejan is a player of Monte Negro.

He's 187cm tall and weighs 82kg.

We weigh the same!

(He weighs the same as me.)

Besides, he's 12 years older than I.

He's 36 years old.

- Soccer fans would know him. / - Can you tell us

why you like Dejan?

MVP players are chosen after games.

- Exactly. / - Among all teams of K League Classic,

he placed third.

I believe that it's not easy.

- Of course it's not easy. / - Totally.

- That's why I like Dejan. / - Any other reason

why you like him other than playing soccer well?

- Is it his looks? / No,

- His looks... / - not his looks.

(She shakes her head.)

It's not because of his looks.

- You like him but not his looks. / - Not his looks.

- It's his skills. / - Other than Dejan,

do you like any other players?

- Handsome players. / - Go Yohan.

- Go Yohan. / - Go Yohan?

There's a player named "Go Yohan"?

- He's always been FC Seoul's player. / - One club man.

However, when it comes to skills, I prefer Dejan.

Your mom sent the story because she's worried about

you liking soccer. What do you think?

I'm worried since my mom stops me from liking soccer.

When I talk about soccer to my mom,

it'd be nice for her to react nicely.

- I see. / - She's indifferent.

- "Sure." That's why I was / - Are you upset?

- a bit upset. / - Now tell me

when you became crazy about soccer.

It was when I was in second grade.

When my grandfather watched soccer on TV,

I always sat by his side and watched it.

Since tickets were given away at school,

I went to see the game.

- And then? / - The atmosphere

was quite different from watching it from home.

(The vibe was quite different from how it was on TV.)

- "Quite". / - How was it "quite" different?

- "Quite". / - "Quite".

How was it "quite" different?

When I saw the game at the stadium,

- I could hear people beside me / - Of course.

cheering enthusiastically.

There are scenes you can't see on television.

- You're right. / - When I go see the game,

I can see all of those.

- That's why I prefer it. / - She enjoys it very much.

However, after seeing the game at the stadium,

you see the video clips online again. That's wrong

since you have school. You should go to bed early.

When I sit here,

I can't really see what's going on in front of me.

On the internet, I can find

video clips of those if they're important.

However, what would you do

- after watching them? / - The game's already over.

I think about what should've been done.

I often think about the way

how one player should change on the next game.

- You're thinking about... / - Your dream isn't

- what coaches think. / - becoming a coach.

- Exactly. That's what players do / - That's right.

- after the game. / - You can only sleep afterwards?

Yes.

How amazing.

Eunhasoo, what do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to become a composer.

- A composer? / - A composer.

- It's totally different. / - It's totally different.

What a dynamic daughter she has.

Why do you want to become a composer?

I'm in a choir.

I like singing the songs there,

but I think composing songs would be more rewarding.

So you want to become a composer, and you like soccer.

- Yes. / - Ma'am,

if she does her duties,

you don't need to worry about her.

I guess she doesn't do her duties.

The day before her exam...

Sometimes she has exams.

One day, she was unusually studying at her desk.

I approached and saw what she was doing from her back.

On a notebook,

she was writing down a cheer song's lyrics.

She was memorizing the lyrics.

She was memorizing the song.

I couldn't believe how she was putting so much effort.

- Her exam was the day after. / - Exactly.

- You would've been so frustrated. / - That's right.

It's not only that. In the car,

we can only listen to the team's cheer songs.

What if you play something else? Does she hate it?

- She wants to be a composer. / - We went

to Ganghwa Island.

We listened to the cheer songs only for two hours.

You would've memorized them too.

I sing them when I do the dishes before I realize.

(She sings them before she realizes.)

I believe that listening to the teacher well

at school and studying with textbooks are enough.

- It's not enough. / - In my opinion,

my grades are high enough.

- Is that so? / - I think they're okay.

I'm the school president now.

All right.

- I have the props. / - You brought props?

"His skill set is extremely rare"–Football expert full of praise for one-of-a-kind Naby Keita - Duration: 3:14.

"His skill set is extremely rare" – Football expert full of praise for one-of-a-kind Naby Keita

Liverpool are still attempting to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig this summer, and the midfielder has been hailed as one of a kind.

Keita could become the Reds' most expensive signing in history if he makes the move to Anfield this summer, with the 22-year-old set for talks with Leipzig this week.

Keita is expected to tell his current club that he favours a switch to Liverpool this summer, as Jurgen Klopp tries to nail down one of his major transfer targets.

Not all Reds supporters are familiar with Keita's qualities as a player, but widespread praise for the midfielder should serve to heighten expectations.

Ted Knutson, former Head of Player Analytics for Brentford and Midtjylland, sees him as a special player, and someone who could be a huge success on Merseyside—even for £70 million.

"His skill set is extremely rare, and elite skill sets—especially for all-rounders—tend to command huge transfer fees in football," Knutson told Goal.

"Given his age, production, and fit for that particular style of play, I could easily see a team setting the Bundesliga transfer record right now.

"If he plays regularly, that could certainly feel like good business a couple of years down the line. "There are a lot of good midfielders out there, but none who is quite like Keita.

Speaking about Keita's development in recent years at Red Bull Salzburg and then Leipzig, Knutson discussed his all-round expertise in the middle of the park.

"Naby first showed up as an obviously strong choice in the 2014/15 season where he was probably the best defensive midfielder in Austria," he added.

"A year later, he was the best attacking midfielder, but still had outstanding defensive output, which almost never happens. "The only real question we had was how he would fit into Champions League-level teams from a passing perspective.

"But I'd say he answered all those questions pretty soundly last season, competing in one of the best leagues in Europe.

For Klopp—a relatively cautious manager when it comes to big-money signings—to be willing to spend so much on Keita says a lot about his ability.

If Liverpool can get a deal over the line this summer it will one of their most significant pieces in business in years, as the Reds look to challenge in the Premier League and Champions League in 2017/18.

Why is Diet Soda Bad for Diabetes - Duration: 4:41.

Hello, I am Ty Mason of thediabetescouncil.com, researcher, writer and I have type 2 diabetes.

Today I want to talk about diet soda and diabetes.

After you watch the video today, I invite you check out the description box for my new

ebook.

This is one of the most comprehensive diabetes meal planning book you can find.

It contains diabetes friendly meals/recipes, recipes for different goals such as 800-1800

calories per day meal plan, diabetes meal planning tips and tricks.

There are also tons of diabetes friendly recipes for everyone!

I want to say right up front that there is a divide among many experts concerning diet

soda and diabetes.

Now I am not an expert but I do have an opinion.

The question I received was why diet soda is bad for diabetes.

I personally don't believe that it is.

However, I am going to give you research from both sides of the issue and let you decided

whether or not you should drink diet soda.

I truly feel the reason most people have an aversion to diet drinks is that at one time,

there was much debate over the safety of artificial sweeteners.

Many feared that these sweeteners caused certain types of cancer.

Studies performed in the 1970s suggested that the artificial sweetener saccharin was linked

to bladder cancer.

Since that time, however, saccharin has been deemed safe.

Both the National Cancer Institute and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) consider

the sweetener nontoxic.

Aspartame, another common yet controversial sweetener, has also gained clearance for use

as a sugar replacement.

The FDA regulates artificial sweeteners as food additives.

It reviews and approves artificial sweeteners before they can be sold.

Some foods are "generally recognized as safe" and don't require FDA approval to

be sold.

However, aspartame and saccharin, commonly found in diet sodas, are both FDA reviewed

and approved.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) lists diet sodas among the drinks considered safe.

The ADA recommends them as an alternative to non-diet varieties.

While diet soft drinks are safe, they are far from nutritious.

In addition to diet soda, the ADA recommends water, unsweetened iced or hot tea, and sparkling

or infused water.

Even milk and 100 percent fruit juices, although they contain carbohydrates, can be wise choices

when you consider the nutrients they provide.

Be sure to limit fruit juices due to their high natural sugar content.

Carbonated colas also pose some risk.

A 2000 study published in Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine investigated the risks

of colas in youth.

The study found that drinking carbonated beverages was strongly associated with bone fractures

in teenage girls.

Although the same was not shown for boys, the study did raise concerns about long-term

negative impacts of carbonated colas.

Diet sodas may also create issues specifically for people with diabetes.

A study published in Nature showed that, in mice, artificial sweeteners can lead to a

spike in insulin.

In my research here is what I have found are the real pros and cons of drinking diet sodas:

Pros Of Drinking Diet Soda With Diabetes Include It contains fewer carbohydrates than regular

soda.

It curbs the sugar craving without a sugar overload.

You're consuming far fewer calories.

Cons Of Drinking Diet Soda With Diabetes Include You're consuming calories but gaining no

nutritional benefit.

It's full of unhealthy additives.

Long-term diet soda drinking is still associated with weight gain and other health risks.

Research shows an increased risk of diabetes and metabolic syndrome with both diet soda

and regular soda intake.

There really is not consensus out there in regards to the effects of diet soda on your

diabetes.

One study says it will harm you and another study comes right along and says it is completely

safe.

In my opinion, the choice is up to you.

I would not make diet soda my main intake of fluids in a day, however, a couple of cans

won't kill you either.

Just be smart, make an informed choice and live your life.

You have to look in the mirror everyday.

Why there is no midfielder in the world like €80m Naby Keita? - Duration: 5:12.

Why there is no midfielder in the world like €80m Naby Keita?

The Reds face a difficult task in prising the Guinean from the Bundesliga, but it would be an incredible coup to pull off - regardless of the cost.  ANALYSIS.

Jurgen Klopp's directive to Liverpool's recruitment team for the summer was unambiguous: identify players guaranteed to inject greater quality to the first XI, which in turn would create a higher level of competition throughout the squad to advance his methodology.

Best 2018 free agents. Quantity wouldn't cut it, with nothing less than exceptional slated for the club's main business.

The world is not full of players who will make us better immediately," the Reds boss noted to this end in May. "But clearly there are a few out there and well speak to them.".

One of the chief difference-makers Klopp had in mind was revealed two months earlier by Goal; RB Leipzig's Naby Keita was the man who could dynamise Liverpool's midfield.

For anyone who watched the 22-year-old destroy, dominate, as well as design his side's attacking direction last season - all with equal aplomb - the link made absolute sense.

For those that have tracked the Guinea international prior to his switch to the Bundesliga - Liverpool included - the link is the only one to absolutely lose your senses for.

As Ted Knutson, who used to operate as Head of Player Analytics for Brentford and Midtjylland so succinctly put it: 'If you can get Naby Keita, you get Naby Keita!'.

With an ambitious, financially strong Leipzig being obstructive to a deal, Liverpool would need to smash the Bundesliga transfer record - the €75 million (£66m at the current exchange rate) that took Kevin de Bruyne from Wolfsburg to Manchester City in 2015 - to tempt the German outfit into a sale.

Knutson believes Keita's multi-faceted strengths in the middle of the pitch, coupled with his suitability for Klopp's aggressive blueprint, makes him worth whatever eye-catching fee forces Die Bullen to sanction his exit.

"His skill set is extremely rare, and elite skill sets - especially for all-rounders - tend to command huge transfer fees in football," he explained to Goal.

"Given his age, production, and fit for that particular style of play, I could easily see a team setting the Bundesliga transfer record right now.

"If he plays regularly, that could certainly feel like good business a couple of years down the line.

From a recruitment angle, the dilemma is that there are no obvious alternatives to the lynchpin. "There are a lot of good midfielders out there, but none who is quite like Keita," details Knutson, who is also the owner of StatsBomb.

Liverpool will be all too aware of that having studied the player's progress from Istres to Salzburg before he developed into one of Europe's foremost prospects at the Red Bull Arena.

In the analytical world, the gifts of the No.6, who is equally effective as a box-to-box midfielder or a playmaker, has been no secret.  "Naby first showed up as an obviously strong choice in the 2014-15 season where he was probably the best defensive midfielder in Austria," says Knutson.  "A year later, he was the best attacking midfielder, but still had outstanding defensive output, which almost never happens.  "The only real question we had was how he would fit into Champions League-level teams from a passing perspective, but Id say he answered all those questions pretty soundly last season, competing in one of the best leagues in Europe." The pursuit of Keita, which is set to be escalated this week, is another signal that Liverpool's recruitment strategy has become more unified and surgical.    "I obviously have a particular perspective, but the transfers since last summer certainly feel smarter.

I really liked both the Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah deals, and if they were to land Keita, it would already be an amazing transfer window.".

What is the Workers Comp Process for Union Members? - Duration: 1:14.

The Workers Compensation Commission does look at all individuals the same.

Whether you're union or not.

That sometimes can be an issue.

Because union members have contracts that denote whether or not they can seek an outside

job.

But the Workers Compensation Commission does not recognize that contract.

And therefore, places the same burdens and responsibilities on that union worker as they

do on non-union workers.

Our firm represents a number of union members.

We're very active in involving the asbestos union, Local 24.

We're very active in representing the elevator folks from the elevator union.

Steamfitters.

Plumbers.

Electricians.

We understand that the union provides certain benefits.

And the Workers Compensation Commission represents certain benefits.

And we also understand that even though they are union members, they still have some obligations

in order to meet their entitlement to workers comp.

So, when we represent union members, we try to collaborate those two factors together

to best support their interest.

Why is the rapture such an important topic? - Duration: 3:25.

Alright, Ed, let's review what we've talked about today.

Why is this topic about the rapture so important?

Hindson: Because it's the one topic that gives hope and comfort to the believer.

The three of us have studied this, researched it, debated it, discussed it, and wrestled

through these things for nearly 40 years or more each.

We are convinced this is what the Bible teaches.

When Paul said, "therefore comfort one another with these words," there has to be a word

of comfort, of encouragement for the believer, because he believes Jesus could come potentially

at any time.

I was sitting in a church where a friend of mine did not believe in a pre-tribulational

rapture.

He preached his whole sermon and said, "So, you see, there never will be rapture."

Which he knows is not true; there has to be one, he just puts it at a different point

in time.

And when he ended it he said, "We have nothing to look forward to but trouble, trouble and

more trouble."

And the people in his own church moaned right out loud.

I was tempted to stand up in the back and shout, "Wherefore comfort one another with

those words."

But I didn't.

But I talked to him afterwards and I said, "Wilson, you know there has to be a rapture;

you and I simply disagree on where to put it.

But my view is the word of comfort and encouragement."

Ankerberg: What else, Mark?

Hitchcock: Well, the rapture is a very motivating hope for us.

It gives us strength.

At the end of talking about the rapture in 1 Corinthians, the apostle Paul says, "Therefore,

be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing your labor

is not in vain."

So it's a motivating hope, it gives us an incentive to live and to labor for the Lord.

And it's also a purifying hope.

In 1 John 3 the Lord tells us, "Everyone who fixes his hope on him purifies himself

even as he himself is pure."

You can't live your life and believe that Jesus could come back at any moment and be

living a life that's sinful and that's against God's will.

Those two are incompatible.

It's a hope that purifies us in our life and calls us higher in our living for the

Lord.

And so, when people say that, you know, this doctrine of the rapture, you know, it's

just kind of pie in the sky, it's just kind of something that's future, it doesn't

relate to everyday life, almost every place in the Bible where you have a statement of

the Lord's coming there's practical application of how we live in the here and now.

Ankerberg: Yeah, I was thinking about James.

He says, you know, don't even grumble because the judge is standing right at the door.

He's ready to come.

Ron, what else?

Rhodes: The apostle Paul said that he didn't want the Thessalonians to be ignorant about

those who are asleep in Christ.

It's not okay to be ignorant about the rapture.

And the way not to be ignorant is to understand the word of God.

And the way to understand the word of God is to take the words as they were intended

to be taken, with a literal approach, just as we interpret those first coming prophecies

literally, so we interpret the rapture passages and all the other end time passages quite

literally.

Now, the thing that means a lot to me is the fact that we're going to have a reunion.

I was with my Momma when she died, and I was holding her hand when she passed into eternity.

But I knew that that was not the last time I would hug her.

I knew that that was not the last time I would hear her voice.

I knew that that was not the last time that I would be with her.

We've got a reunion coming, and I tell you what, that puts spiritual wind in my sails.
