Solid Food for Baby: What and When - Duration: 8:19.

Hi, everybody. It's Katie. Today, Babydoll and I are going to talk about solid food

introduction and how to tell if she's ready. So one of the first ways is.... this.

Is she interested in what you're doing? Is she grabbing at everything in sight?

She is, so we figured she was ready. So stick with us and we're going to talk

about some of the very first things that we gave to her, some of her first

solid foods, and how to prepare them. So the big question is when do I introduce

solid foods to my baby? I think, first and foremost, that's something that you should

probably talk with your pediatrician about. I mean, I think that's always

something. It's always safe. Before you do anything new with the baby,

talk to your pediatrician. Do your research. I think most things out there,

most things that you're going to read on the internet and most pamphlets are

going to tell you right around six months is a safe time to start.

You don't want to start too early because babies' tummies are probably not ready to

deal with solid food. They've got to mature a little bit, although I have heard

of babies starting as early as four months. So again, that's where it's going

to be handy to talk with your pediatrician about what's best for your particular

circumstance. That being said, with both of my daughters, I started right around

six months. That's when I noticed the most interest, so I knew that it was a safe

time. Six months is a safe time per my pediatrician. So I knew it was safe,

and I was starting to notice there is a lot of interest from the little ones.

So I'm holding the baby and I'm eating food, and they're kind of going like this.

Each bite I put in my mouth, and their mouth is kind of like "Heh. Heh."

Kind of like that. So when they start to notice that you're doing

something like eat, and they want to be a part of it, that's a good time to think,

"Okay, well, maybe we should start to introduce solid foods." Or in the case of

my youngest, if I'm in the kitchen preparing food and she's in the living

room sitting at her bouncer, when she knows I'm in here making food or if I give

her sister a plate of food, she will literally start screeching at me.

And it's not a distressed cry. It's a "Hey, I want in on that action." So those

are probably some pretty good signs. If they start grabbing at your fork while

you're eating or they're watching you or they're yelling at you while you're making

food, those are all good signs that they're probably ready to start trying

stuff out. The first thing I want to talk to you about as far as solid food

introduction is a pear. One of the main reasons that pears was on the list of our

starter foods is because it kind of helps with aiding digestion and doesn't cause

constipation. Apples, you would think, you know, apples is one of those things that

everybody is like, "Oh, start with apples or homemade applesauce." And that's fun,

and I didn't really know that with my first one. I didn't know that it actually

can kind of cause things to slow down in their little tummies.

And so that's one of the reasons that you start with pears,

is because it helps move things along. So what you want to do with the pear is you

want to peel it and then chop it in four and core it. Make sure you get all the

junk out. And then you're going to put it in your steamer over here,

and you're going to steam it until soft. And if you want it a little chunkier,

you can do that. Or if you want to start with a true puree, then you can go ahead

and steam it all the way down until it's really soft. Don't throw away your pear

water because another thing that we're going to talk about today is millet in

lieu of rice cereal. But you can use the water that you use to steam your pears

to cut with the millet because it's going to need water, so you could use that.

So you're getting the little bit of nutrients there from the steamed-down pear

water, and then you're also putting your liquid in there, so it's like two birds

with one stone. So yeah, that's what we're going to start with.

And I'm going to go ahead and get that all set up. We'll be right back.

♪ [music] ♪

Okay, guys. So the next thing I want to talk about on our solid-food introduction

for babies is millet. It's a grain, and you can kind of see it here.

Little, tiny, yellow, circular grain. It's a gluten-free grain. I like it.

I chose to go with millet because it's gluten-free and it has more nutritional

value than just plain white rice cereal. And the other thing is I've noticed,

at least with my first, was when I started introducing solid food, their little

tummies have to figure out what to do with that. And so if you have a regular,

every-day pooper, it's probably going to slow down and you're probably going to

notice your baby is going to stop pooping. And that's kind of scary when you're

Mama and your baby just stops pooping. So anyway, that's why I didn't go with

rice and decided to go with something like millet is because it's not quite as

binding and it's a little bit more nutritious. However, I will tell you,

whatever carb you want to give your baby, do some research and do what you're most

comfortable with. I like millet. You might not. There's other options, but I decided

to go with millet. So for the millet preparation, I have a Baby Bullet.

It's made by the Magic Bullet, and I love it. But I have the Baby Bullet here,

and this is the little container we'll use. And you'll notice the type of blade.

This is actually designed for grains and for breaking them down. And so what you're

going to do is you're going to dump however much millet you want in here

and put it in here. Push the button. Get it going until you get a fine powder.

And I'll show you a picture or a video, whichever one we can fit in there.

I'll show you how it works and what it's going to look like. And then you're going

to prepare it pretty much just like you would rice cereal. You're going to take

your powder out of here. And like we talked about a few minutes ago, if you

save your pear water, then you can use that to cook your millet with. So that's

going to be the preparation for the millet. Another thing I want to talk about

is avocadoes. I probably don't need to convince many of you about the nutritional

benefits of avocado because I think it's pretty well known, but see for yourself.

Google it if you'd like. But avocadoes are a pretty great thing to start with.

I think that's actually the very first thing my oldest daughter had. And I think

actually it's the first thing that my youngest had as well, just because it's

easy, it's soft, they're delicious, and they're pretty full of nutrients. They're

good for you. Good fats. And that's another thing that you want, too,

as you're starting to introduce solid foods is you want to make sure you

have healthy fats for your baby. So the preparation for avocadoes is pretty

simple. All you're really going to do is chop it open, take the seed, throw it

away, scoop out the contents, and put it on a plate and mash it up. I added salt

because I'm in the camp of "Why feed your baby boring food?" But you can do whatever

you want. That's, again, another preference. But I added salt and they both

really like avocadoes, which is awesome because as my oldest has kind of gone

through her picky-eating stuff, I could always get her to eat avocado. So I don't

feel so bad because I can get something green on her plate. So avocadoes,

I'm a huge fan of avocadoes.

6 Etiquette Tips For Gran Fondos & Sportives - Duration: 4:06.

- Doing a big sportive or gran fondo,

such as the Maratona dles Dolomites,

will mean that you are around thousands of other riders,

and as such, there are certain dos and don'ts.

Coming up is GCN's Guide To Sportive Etiquette.

Don't do that, mate.

It's dangerous.

- Sorry, Dan.

(energetic music)

One of the biggest things you'll notice when riding

a sportive or a gran fondo type event

are the sheer volume of other riders

that you'll be peddling along with,

so it's important that you're considerate

in the way that you're riding.

Take, for example, the approach to a Feed Zone.

What you don't want to do is suddenly

veer across the road without paying attention

to what's behind you.

- Likewise, you really want to try and avoid

any sudden braking, unless it is absolutely necessary.

Stopping suddenly could well catch the people

out behind you, and you might well cause a pile-up.

(energetic music)

- Now, along very similar lines,

it's important and very advisable

that you don't overlap the wheel in front of you

because basically,

you just can't predict what the person in front

is gonna do.

They may brake, or they may deviate

at a very hard angle,

and dropping just off the wheel

gives you that ability to manoeuvre

and take any evasive action.

(energetic music)

- Now, there is no harm in giving it a bit of welly

if you're feeling particularly sprightly and strong

on a sportive, but just remember, it's not a race.

If you want to get ultra competitive,

there are plenty of organised races out there.

So, obey the rules of the road,

don't take unnecessary risks at junctions,

and make sure you stay on your side of the road.

(energetic music)

- Try and warn the riders behind you

of any hazard that you see in the road

up ahead.

Could be a pothole like there, or a raised drain,

could be a slower ride that you're approaching,

or even a parked car.

A hand gesture and a vocal warning should be enough.

Well.

- Cheers.

- Hole. - Thanks.

(energetic music)

There is no harm in taking advantage

of slipstreaming behind other riders.

After all, there should be plenty of them around,

but make sure you also do your own turn on the front,

to do the pace-setting.

People won't mind you sitting behind them, just so long

as at least occasionally, you do come to the front

and do your own work into the wind.

In fact, if you can find another rider, or even a group

of similar ability to yourself,

this will help you get through to the finish of the event

much more efficiently.

(energetic music)

- This should go without saying,

but believe me, so many people still insist

on not checking behind when emptying the contents

of their nose.

If you're gonna deliver a snot rocket,

clear your throat, whatever you wanna call it,

take a glance behind,

bit of an indication,

away you go.

- So, those are GCN's tips when it comes to etiquette

at gran fondos or sportives,

but if you've got any of your own tips,

please leave them for us in the comment section down below.

Equally, if there's anything that particularly annoys you

about the way other riders do sportive events,

let us know as well in the comment section down below.

Now, if you are yet to subscribe

to the Global Cycling Network, it is free to do so.

All you got to do for that is to click on the globe,

which you will see on the screen somewhere now.

Trump advisers' meeting on Paris deal reset for Thursday - Duration: 11:41.

Trump advisers' meeting on Paris deal reset for Thursday

The Trump administration has rescheduled a meeting of senior advisers to hash out internal

divisions over the Paris climate change agreement for Thursday, two administration officials

told POLITICO.

The meeting could help decide the fate of the United States' involvement in the accord,

which won the support of nearly 200 nations in Paris in 2015.

Trump's advisers hope to make a recommendation to the president about how he should proceed.

Several of Trump's close advisers and Cabinet secretaries, including Jared Kushner and Secretary

of State Rex Tillerson, are said to support staying in the deal.

But chief strategist Steve Bannon and EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt strongly oppose

the pact and have been privately making the case that the U.S. should withdraw.

While the list of attendees is unclear, Tillerson, Bannon, Kushner, National Economic Council

Director Gary Cohn, national security adviser H.R. McMaster and Energy Secretary Rick Perry

are expected to be at the meeting.

The meeting had been scheduled to take place last week, but it was postponed because several

Trump advisers traveled with the president to Wisconsin.

Trump's advisers and energy industry officials have been engaged in a months-long behind-the-scenes

effort to sway the president.

Aides who support staying in the deal have argued Trump could still achieve his policy

goals, with less international blowback, by weakening Obama's pollution-reduction targets

while trying to negotiate greater global support for fossil fuels.

They've won the support of several energy companies, including a few major coal producers.

A young mom called me in to do some de-cluttering

of her basement,

she was pregnant with her second child,

she had a three-year-old,

and she wanted to make the basement part of the playroom

she had a beautiful space,

to make this a playroom for her children.

As I was walking down to the basement,

there was a full wall, of boxes.

There were 42 boxes and they were all dated,

and I think I might get this date wrong,

they were dated 2020.

Her father packed up,

all of his mothers stuff after she died,

saying this will be for my grandkids,

when they are 18.

She did not know how to open those boxes,

she did not know what was in those boxes,

she was afraid to look in those boxes,

she asked me would you come and help me

go through those boxes.

Sure I would.

We probably had a small table of things that she kept.

How To Choose A Student Loan Repayment Plan - What is the Graduated Plan - Duration: 0:45.

Under the graduated repayment plan, your payments start lower and gradually increase over the

next 10 years.

This could be an excellent choice for those in career fields where income accelerates

rapidly as they gain more experience, but keep in mind that payments will increase every

two years.

Even if your salary remains the same or drops, the payments will continue to rise.

You'll also pay more interest than you would using the standard plan.

How A Bracelet For A Widow Helped Forge A 'Godwink' | TODAY - Duration: 3:34.

>>> COINCIDENCES HAPPEN EVERY

DAY OR DO THEY? BUT SOMETIMES A STORY IS SO

REMARKABLE IT CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS A GOD WINK.

>> OUR FRIEND SQUIRE RUSHNELL IS THE BEST SELLING AUTHOR BEHIND

THE GODWINKS BOOK SERIES AND HERE TO SHARE ANOTHER INCREDIBLE

STORY. >> HI, SQUIRE.

>> THIS IS A VERY SWEET STORY. >> GOOD.

>> JENNIFER BOBITY HAD A SMALL JEWELRY MAKING BUSINESS OUT OF

HER HOME IN POWELL, OHIO. AND SHE HEARD ABOUT A WOMAN

NAMED MARY McNAMARA. SHE DIDN'T KNOW HER BUT THIS

WOMAN MARY HAD LOST HER HUSBAND TWO MONTHS AFTER HE HAD BEEN

DIAGNOSED WITH LEUKEMIA. AND SO SHE WANTED TO DO

SOMETHING. SHE WAS DEEPLY TOUCHED.

SO SHE MADE A LITTLE BRACELET FOR HER OUT OF CRYSTAL

BIRTHSTONES AND ASKED THAT IT BE PASSED ON TO HER BUT SHE HAD NO

IDEA THAT SHE WAS TRIGGERING A GOD WINK.

>> AFTER I SENT THE BRACELET, I RECEIVED A BEAUTIFUL HANDWRITTEN

THANK YOU KNOW THE. IT WAS SIGNED MARY.

A COUPLE OF YEARS WENT BY AND I WAS DELIGHTED TO RECEIVE A CALL

FROM MARY TELLING ME SHE HAD MET A MAN, FALLEN IN LOVE AND THEY

WERE GETTING MARRIED THAT SUMMER.

SHE ASKED IF I COULD ADD HER NEW HUSBAND'S STONE TO THE BRACELET.

I WAS VERY HAPPY FOR HER AND HER NEW LEASE ON LOVE AND LIFE.

I SUGGESTED SHE PUT THE BRACELET IN A BAG AND HANG IT ON MY FRONT

DOOR WHETHER HE I WAS AT WORK. I CALLED TO LET HER KNOW SHE TO

BIK IT UP. SHE CALLED TO SAY THANK YOU AND

ASKED WHAT SHE OWE PERFORMED I SAID NOTHING SUGGESTING SHE PAY

IT FORWARD FOR DOING SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE ES.

FLASH FORWARD ANOTHER YEAR. MY MOM WAS IN THE MORNINGING LOT

OF A LOCAL GROCERY STORE TRIPPING AND FALLING AND BRAVING

BOTH BONES IF HER ARM. A WOMAN AND HER DAUGHTER RUSHED

TO MY MOM'S AID. SHE CALLED 911.

SHE WAS A KIND REASSURING STRANGER.

SHE STAYED WITH MY MOM TILL THE AMBULANCE ARRIVED AN GAVE HER A

PIECE OF PAPER WITH HER NAME AND PHONE NUMBER ON IT ASKING MY MOM

TO PLEASE CALL IF SHE COULD BE OF ANY FURTHER ASSISTANCE.

THE ARM REQUIRED SURGERY. MY MOM CAME OUT OF THE SURGERY

AND PROGRESSED WELL. AND UPON RETURNING HOME, SHE

TOLD ME ABOUT THE ANGEL IN THE PARKING LOT WHO HAD STAYED WITH

HER AND WAS SO VERY KIND. WHEN I ASKED HOW WE COULD THANK

HER, MY MOM SAID SHE HAD HER NAME AND PHONE NUMBER.

SHEAHANED ME THE PIECE OF PAPER AND I IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED THE

NAME AND THE HANDWRITING. IT READ MARY.

MARY McNAMARA. I CALLED MARY IMMEDIATELY

REMINDING HER THAT I WAS JENNIFER, THE BRACELET LADY.

I SAID DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN I ASKED TO YOU PAY IT FORWARD?

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE WOMAN WAS THAT YOU HELPED IN THE

PARKING LOT. IT WAS MY MOM.

AND A SURPRISED VOICE, MARY SAID SHE JUST HAD BEEN PRAYING FOR MY

MOM. WE BOTH AGREED WE HAD BEEN GOD

WINKED. >> OH.

>> SQUIRE. >> THAT MAKES ME CRY.

>> YOU COULD SEE THAT COMING I BET.

THAT GOD WINK. MY GOODNESS, IT WAS SO SWEET.

BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT JENNIFER AND MARY STILL

HAVEN'T MET YET. >> THE WHY?

>> THEM ARE MEETING RIGHT AFTER MOTHER'S DAY.

THIS IS PROOF THAT GOD WINKS ARE DIVINELY ALIGNED IN EACH OF OUR

LIVES TO BRING US GIFTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND COMFORT.

>> THAT IS BEAUTIFUL.

The Story of the Blue Dress - Duration: 2:29.

(gentle music)

So a couple of years ago, I decided to record myself

decluttering my closet, our kitchen cupboards,

the basement storage area and the garage.

And the reason I do that is because not too many people

want a camera in their house,

going through their stuff, right?

So I said, "I'll do it."

First day of shooting, so I have my camera on my tripod,

start the camera, go through all the housecoats,

I had a housecoat from when the kids were born.

Not wearing it, keeping it, time to let it go.

Then I pull up this dress, not this one, another one.

I like this one.

So pull out this dress,

beautiful blue dress, gorgeous blue dress.

I loved wearing that dress,

kinda like how much I love wearing this dress.

I loved wearing that dress

and the last time I wore that dress was so good,

I was doing a presentation in front of 500 people,

I got a standing ovation, it was so cool.

They were all my peers so they all stood anyway,

so it was nice, felt good.

Anchored happiness in that dress.

I hadn't worn that dress in,

I would say, five to seven years.

I had outgrown that dress, it was a size six.

I was no longer a size six.

So every time I walked past that dress

it would remind me of the size I no longer was.

And then I would feel like a shlump dump.

And then I would start going through this,

Oh, well maybe one day I'll lose the weight.

Or maybe one day I'll fit back in it, maybe...

(sighs)

Anybody else have something in their closet like that?

(audience mutter and laugh)

So here I am right, I pull out this dress

and I'm like (I'm going say the S word okay?)

I'm like, "Shit, the camera is on."

Smiling...

I can turn it off because I am not live,

we didn't have Facebook Live then.

Turn it off and just not tell anybody

the story of this dress.

And then I thought, that would be lying.

This is the stuff you do with people every day,

you are teaching them how to let go of their stuff.

You have to be honest.

So I kept the camera rolling,

told them the story I just told you and on camera said,

"Okay, Dress for Success is getting this dress,

because there is another lovely size six woman

who is going to love this dress as much as I love it,

and she could be gifted that dress."

And I just let it go.

(gentle music)

SUSPENSE.

I WAS FINALLY GOING TO SAY THE

NAME OF THE FILM THAT WON.

>> RIGHT.

>> BUT IN THE MOMENT WHAT

HAPPENED WAS WE CAME ON, HE

OPENED THE ENVELOPE, PULLED THE

CARD OUT AND HE DIDN'T SAY

ANYTHING.

HE PAUSED.

HE LOOKED AROUND AND HE LOOKED

OVER ME OFF STAGE HOPING SOMEONE

WOULD BE THERE.

>> LIKE COULD THIS BE RIGHT.

>> HOPING SOMEONE WOULD BE THERE

SAYING DON'T DO THIS.

HE LOOKED BACK INTO THE ENVELOPE

HOPING THERE WOULD BE ANOTHER

CARD THERE.

FINALLY I THOUGHT HE WAS YOU

>> DID YOU THINK HE WAS TEASE

AGO.

>> I SAID YOU'RE IMPOSSIBLE.

THIS IS SOMETHING HE DOES.

HE PAUSES.

HE DOESN'T ANSWER YOU RIGHT

AWAY.

>> HE PLAYS WITH YOU.

>> TEASES YOU AS PART OF HIS

CHARM.

I TEASED BACK AND I SAID YOU'RE

IMPOSSIBLE.

HE GAVE ME THE THE CARD.

I READ THE NAME OF THE FILM.

>> "LA LA LAND."

>> WHICH WAS WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED

TO DO.

>> YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THE WINNER

IS.

THAT'S WHAT THE CARD SAYS.

>> THAT'S WHAT THE CARD SAID BUT

A LOT OF REPERCUSSIONS ON THIS.

>> OF COURSE.

>> YOU'RE PLAGUED WITH WHAT

COULD I HAVE DONE TO PREVENT

THIS.

THE FACT IS YOU COULDN'T HAVE

DONE ANYTHING BECAUSE THE CARD

WAS THE WRONG CARD GIVEN TO HIM.

EVEN IF IT SAID EMMA STONE ON

THE TOP I HAD TO SAY THE NAME OF

THE PICTURE.

SO I SAID THE NAME OF THE

PICTURE.

SOMEONE SAID NO, NO, NO, YOU

DIDN'T WIN.

>> YOU'RE CAUGHT IN THIS

WHIRLWIND.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING THEN?

>> IT WAS REALLY ONE OF THE

WORST MOMENTS I'VE EVER HAD.

>> MY, MY.

THE THINGS THAT TURN UP IN THE

STREET THESE DAYS.

>> AND WHAT HAVEN'T YOU DONE YET

IN YOUR LIFE EVEN OUTSIDE OF THE

BUSINESS SOMETHING THAT NAGS YOU

How To Build a Brand On Social Media – Advice For Entrepreneurs Using Social Media - Duration: 6:11.

How to build a brand on social media – advice for entrepreneurs using social media

Today it is really spring weather here and I am very happy

Because I have decided to start a new series.

A series about how to build a brand in social media!

So I have just started to build a new brand.

And the name of this new brand is Clear-eyed Entrepreneur.

So I am using YouTube and Facebook and Twitter and Pinterest to launch this brand.

I've just started a few weeks ago.

And I will make this an experiment and I will do a lot of videos about how I hopefully get

some success and I will also do videos about what is not working so that you can learn from

me, from my mistakes, and maybe from what I am doing right.

So my new business Clear-eyed Entrepreneur has a tag-line.

I've just written a tagline for my brand.

And the tag-line is: The idea behind Clear-eyed Entrepreneur is to encourage clear-eyed and

ethical entrepreneurship.

And to make every day bright, happy, easy and more entrepreneurial.

So I have started a homepage for my brand, and I have started a couple of Facebook pages,

and I also have this YouTube channel which I will use to launch this brand.

Today I will talk about my first steps in launching this bran.

And what I have done is … I have published a lot of pictures on Facebook, and with those

pictures I have posted links to YouTube.

And this has worked fairly well.

When I post just links to YouTube then I reach just maybe five or ten persons, but when I

post a big picture an also a link to YouTube then I reach hundred or several hundreds, and

sometimes thousands of people for free.

So my advice: When You post links on Facebook to YouTube, post a picture as well in the

same post.

But what I have seen is that my reach is decreasing on Facebook, and I guess this is because I

have posted too many links to YouTube.

So now I have started to consider this sandbox theory.

So I will try to not send people from Facebook to YouTube as much as I have done previously.

Instead I will post videos on Facebook as well.

And I will try to build my audience within YouTube.

And I will try to build my audience within Facebook.

I have also tried to get an audience from Pinterest, and that's something I will look

into.

Because I see that I get more and more YouTube views from Pinterest. So I will post videos

once or twice a week from now on.

And I will tell you what works, and what is not working, when I'm trying to build my

presence for me and my brand Clear-eyed Entrepreneur. on YouTube and on Facebook, and on Twitter.

What I want to say to end this video is that … an advice I would like to give is: When

you are building a brand online on social media it is very important that you are kind,

and that you are helpful.

If you want to build a brand, and you want to build a successful brand – be kind and

helpful.

It will help your business, it will be good for your brand, and also – it will be good

for all of us.

So be kind and helpful.

It's good for yourself, it's good for your business, and it's good for everyone.

That's all for today.

See you in the next video!

WWE Blamed For Cancelled Wrestlemania Match, WWE Wrestlers Released | WrestleTalk News April 2017 - Duration: 4:42.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News! I'm Oli Davis, and I'll be replying to

as many comments on this video as I can. Just several months after production began

on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's movie about WWE star Paige, another Hollywood wrestling

biopic is about to be greenlit: a film about the life of Vince McMahon, quite aptly called

Pandemonium. The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that

TriStar Pictures have snapped up the project after Andrew Lazar - the producer behind 2014's

box office smash American Sniper - acquired the rights. He's also the man responsible

for Cats & Dogs, Jonah Hex and Mortdecai, but those are in no way as impressive.

The President of WWE Studios Michael Luisi is also producing, and the project is said

to have Vince McMahon's blessing. Which probably means the movie will have no mention

of Randy Savage, B. A. Star isn't just a PR exercise, Wrestlemania always breaks attendance

records, WCW never stood a chance, Bret screwed Bret, etc. Comment with who you think should

play Vince in the film, and I'll read out the best in tomorrow's news episode. I'll

kick things off: Nicolas Cage. It's recently come out that the early Wrestlemania

33 card was meant to have John Cena vs The Undertaker and The Miz vs a debuting Shinsuke

Nakamura, but when Kevin Dunn pitched the Nikki Bella proposal idea, those major matches

were pulled. Another bout that also ended up scrapped was the Big Show taking on former-NBA

megastar Shaquille O'Neal. Big Show recently said on the Sam Roberts

Wrestling Video Podcast that it was because Shaq couldn't commit to the prep work because

of other commitments. But speaking on his BIG Podcast, Shaq has revealed it's actually

WWE who are to blame. "They kept playing. First, they said it

was me and Big Show. Then, they said it was going to be 3 and 3. Then, they cancelled

it, so when they cancelled it, I made other arrangements. And then they tried to call

back and tried to get it done, and I just said, "I'm not going to do it". They

messed it up." WWE kept changing plans and then tried to

book something last-minute. I'm as surprised as you are.

It's that type of on-the-fly booking that might be responsible for the huge drop off

in ratings for Raw since Wrestlemania. After some of the highest numbers of the year for

both the Post-Mania and Superstar Shake-Up editions of Raw, this Monday's episode only

averaged 3 million viewers, dropping almost 350,000 from the week before. And it's easy

to see why, with a massive 60% of you giving the episode the worst possible rating at Bore,

and 28% thinking it only slightly better at Poor.

It's Patreon shout out time, complete with WrestleTalk Hall of Fame rings. Thank you

Damaged Dan Schaeffer, John Wick: Chapter 2, Notorious Little Dre, Diamond Mitchell

Janda, The Nightmare Michael D Bellemare (who you can follow him on Twitter @mickd487) and

The Boss Sasha Carcerano. Head over to WrestleTalk's Patreon page to see how you can support WrestleTalk.

WWE haven't yet had their annual post-Wrestlemania mass releasing of talent, and it appears as

though the company might be warming up for a Future Endeavours Friday soon. I hate that

holiday. With the recent departures of both Simon Gotch

and Tajiri from WWE, Pro Wrestling Sheet are now reporting that NXT wrestler Chris Atkins

has also been released, and Uproxx claim both Tough Enough 2015 winner Josh Bredl and backstage

interviewer Andrea DiMarco are gone too. Atkins was signed in 2015 after a WWE tryout,

but was rarely used on live events and TV. His last televised match was being squashed

by Eric Young on the 5th January episode of NXT. DiMarco had made a few appearances on

the main roster as a backstage interviewer, and Bredl only ever wrestled on NXT house

shows after winning the one-year, $250,000 contract in Tough Enough's sixth season

- making him the latest in a long-line of prestigious Tough Enough graduates that didn't

do much at all. The full indy wrestling event IPW: UK Supershow

8 is up to watch on this very channel right now, including my favourite wrestler in the

world Marty Scurll in action, and watch my review of that terrible episode of Raw by

clicking the videos to the left, and press subscribe.

I've been Oli Davis, and that was wrestling.
