good morning it is day 1 of Vlogmas and I'm heading into work now and I'm
super excited to start daily vlogging for the month. I've never done this
before so I hope this is interesting enough but if we haven't before, me and
my husband are a British couple and we live in a place called Tianjin in China
and I actually work at a primary school here, at an international school and
I'm gonna kind of show you my life here I guess
and so if you're new to this channel welcome if you have been around for a
while welcome back and yeah I'm excited to start with Vlogmas, it should be
really good it's gonna be a busy old month, in two weeks we're heading back
home to London to see our family we haven't seen family for a whole year
so I'm so excited about it anyway I'm gonna stop talking Calum spent some time
making a little fun jingle for vlogmas so I will let it play now
hi guys so I am in my classroom now and today I'm going to be decorating my classroom
so it's the 30th of November and I thought I'd start Vlogmas now so I can edit
in time for the 1st of December. We only have two weeks at school until the
holidays so that means Christmas decoration has to happen now but I
wanted to show you my door because I'm just so impressed with it so far the first
door is about being on Santa's nice list
so we've been talking a lot about kindness and how we can be kind to each other so
actually I have them here, the children I teach wrote down what they have to do to
be on Santa's nice list so they're gonna go up there as well and they have like a
parchment paper they all sign their names on to say they've been nice this year
and then the other door is the snow globe family so we're going to put a...
we've got snowflakes on there and then we're gonna have like a snow globe where
we're gonna put, like a shape of the the school that we're in, in the globe covered in
snow with pictures of the children around which I thought is really cute. so there's my
doors but apart from that my classroom is pretty bare at the moment it just has
our normal like stuff in it apart from this mess of stuff over here
which is all our Christmas decorations that we've spent the last of week or so
in the mornings and they come in they've been doing little decorations so
actually I did find these out in the cupboard yesterday because I have tree in
this cupboard so I need to get that out I've had some Christmas lights - oh so I
need to set that up I'm going to do that, I've got a free period today so me and
Jesse are gonna set up the classroom so I'll show you what it looks like now
and then well it looks like after but to begin with I have to do some work so I'm
gonna get on with some work and I shall see you in a while
Right so I am home now I have had a busy old day today we did a math lesson and the
children had PE and in that time I put up all my decorations and my ta Jesse
helped me a lot and we also finished our Christmas doors there's a few little
little like little last-minute bits so I will show you them on Monday when I'm
back at school and with my such an epic vlogmas fail today. so I was filming this
morning and then my battery ran out I was like oh that's fine I have a spare
battery in my bag no it was in the wrong bag so I have
filmed some clips on my iPhone, a few time lapses of me working and I took my
lunch marking books with the intern Jordan at my school and having a chat
with her as well so so the time that's that she just saw was from my phone
but that was my day today and then I have I finished off we had a rehearsal
this afternoon so it was a busy old afternoon and we have a Christmas
concert next week so the children had a rehearsal for that and then I was
getting baking stuff with baking cookies and bread and chocolate over the next
week or two as part of our milepost like we have a winter fair thing next week
and then of the following we have our mod post exit so that's what I've been
doing today I'm back home meaning how I'm and they take a photo and for we
have a channel called creative Travel Guide which we are also going to be
doing a travel or creative travel tips vlogmas style video a day thing so check
it out I'll put the link somewhere here and I'll put it in the description box
as well so that you can see the videos were doing on there so they're because
they're really fun and exciting as well so we're going to take a photo for a
recent video that's going to be going up to night and then we're going to order
some dinner right so I've just touched up my makeup trying to care about my day
at work taken us some photos for the thumbnail
of our video and comes just as seeing that now so I'm going to sit and finish
off home anything log from the last two weeks because I hope put it all into one
so I need to edit it now but it's kind of edited I listen to the end of it and
put it up and then we will put the TV on and try and find the second leg of a
football game so they had a Chinese FA Cup here and we were in Beijing last
weekend and watch the Chinese FA Cup and it was really good but it's the first
leg was Beijing versus Shandong so the second leg is in Shandong tonight and so
we're going to try and watch it on the TV at least trying at the second heart
the least yes I forgot to say that the tree arrived all of this tree
recently and I'm so excited for that it's here it's not too big I will put
this up on the weekend because I'm going to Christmas tree I'm gonna sign up a
Christmas tree
so the football is on I am just finishing off my vlog yes I am sitting
on the floor I know that's where I don't know why I'm just a full person
literally listen to this oh no anyway I'm going to so Ultima has just arrived
we decided to go for some kebab sticks with some chow mein so that should be
quite nice but the game is still 1 1 and we're gonna go and watch we have about 6
of our food and we're gonna watch some YouTube so on that note I'm gonna sign
off today's vlogmas here i hope you liked this first video so i fit snug
like exciting i promise it will get better but and this is the first video
like my first attempt at daily vlogging which if you have any feedback to let me
