I'm so sick of the word Punisher being a dirty word
just because you implemented a Punisher or something that's undesirable there's
a behavior you followed it with an undesirable stimulus and it is function
based because you've exhausted all your positive reinforcers you've went least
two most restrictive the learner has a behavior problem that's attention
maintained they're put in timeout which might be the appropriate protocol and
then you see an all-out tantrum while they're in timeout you see respondent
aggression you see a side effect or a casualty of that unpleasant event is is
now burst right one of the biggest problems is that newly-minted bc bas and
newt and clinicians and parents they say to you look this isn't working see how
he's acting but it's not if anything his response to it being upset and angry
might just suggest that it is unpleasant and undesirable and what really matters
is the future behavior so if you give a warning as a conditioned Punisher like
warning or timeout and then the learner responds quickly and future behavior
decreases then you know it's a Punisher and I'm so sick of the word Punisher
being a dirty word aren't you guys tired of it you passed the board exam and you
know the word Punisher just means decreasing a behavior you did a function
based intervention you strengthen functional equivalence you did all these
different least and most restrictive prompts and then you did something to
decrease behavior if a learner is engaging in severe self-injury or
running in the street I don't and you've exhausted all your positive
reinforcement strategies to reinforce incompatible things this is life or
death how can you not use something that decreases behavior look my mentor Julie
Vargas used to since the word is such a dirty word decreasing behaviors is a
Punisher you can use you can soften to that language by calling it
Julie used to always called a decelerating procedure
something increases/decreases behavior d sourdough I mean another little hack
when you explain to a family or a caregiver that you may have to keep the
learner safe I'm not saying to be to be disingenuous but I would avoid using the
word I'm going to do a physical restraint I would use a word like I'm
going to do a protective hold and keep him safe
just a little hack I don't know if that's tell me when I'm out of line
doctor
I'm out of line a lot that's why I can't believe you let me talk here
Walden - yes leather-bound copy of your skin is not a womb to mine thank you PCB
is often earth we almost we often feel like we're outcasts in the psychology
world but to have them all together tonight and they had some really good
questions I'm usually talking about OPM organizational behavior management but
tonight was it was refreshing to talk about clinical things and real examples
of working with learners with autism

👾 SUPER SMASH BROS ULTIMATE | Compilation de GLITCHES et BUGS - Duration: 16:06.
Yo! Super Smash Bros is one of my favorite video game series from nintendo
today we will tackle the different glitch of super smash bros ultimate
this video is not meant to explain but
just glitch compilation of different people
that I found on the web or even that I will illustrate by myself with my own
know that most bugs may have been corrected by updates
I will try to classify the glitch of the game mechanism to the graphics
do not hesitate to react to the video at the same time
to tell me if according to you whether it's a glitch or not at all
I can be wrong of course and to share in the comments area
other glitches that do not appear in this compilation
if this type of content please do not hesitate to let it know
I will maybe do a sequel or even I will tackle other games of the Nintendo license
so do not hesitate in this case to subscribe and dropped a like to support me
in some cases I will try to give an explanation to the glitch
when I do not know the explanation at all
I will not say anything I will let you watch
you will obviously find links, sources in descriptions or comment pinned
currently just when this video I am in version 1.2
to achieve this house it would take 2 like most of the glitch of this video
go in extra, then drive, choose the village character and marie
the purpose of this glitch is to return the projectile launched by the villager
do not forget to put the computer in manual mode for
control with a second controller after a while and some passes
normally three your Nintendo Switch will crash, at least: the game
if this is the first time that you ever have an error message
you are asking to send data to nintendo
this guide also works between village-villagers and Marie-Marie
now let's attack a glitch that you've heard so much he has swept over the web
I'm obviously talking about the one with the two Mary and the objects to infinity
whatever the object, the most epic is of course with the trophy help
I let you admire the demonstration we are back in the training mode
and the goal is going to be to catch with the fishing rod the object
except that there will only be one who will have the object and he will use to infinity
That's OK ? I cut you anyway the extract
it lasts a long time to infinity as I said
now we will go to the compilation of glitch find on the internet
My my my ! Bayonetta! What do I hate this character!
by the way tell me by the way what is your favorite character in SSB regardless of the game
there we have a problem is that ice climbers are locked in a temporality
due to the bayonetta shot, I do not know the cause of this
it may be because it typed two characters at the same time, what do I know...
For the next action I do not know if it's a glitch for you to tell me
but in any case Diddy Kong hits Carapuce well who at the time of the smash
where there is zoom (animation)
enters his Pokéball to be switcher with Herbizarre
it prevents being projected, I do not know it's a glitch
but in any case it allowed victory in this situation
There we are dealing with a problem of Grap with the echoes fighters of the Fire Emblem series
and the same with Mewtwo
talking about character problems we have yoshi who can not reach meta knight
so who's hitting him, when he's right next to him
still a problem too with Mary with her fishing rod
she manages to teleport
we have a pretty similar bug with lucas with his snake I let you watch
so here we are dealing with the most cheaté bugs of the game I think in my opinion
Shulk who is a character I know very little I just know he
can transform temporarily to boost yourself in a field and there
thanks to this glitch it will allow to have one or more transformations of
unlimited if we manage to accumulate via the glitch small demonstration
the concrete purpose of this glitch is actually
to activate a transformation when we receive a final smash
I let you admire now a few moments where the netizens have
managed to break the game one way or another
what's interesting with the last glitch you see is that actually
Diddy Kong was thrown in the air and it's as if
his projection screen did not want to be displayed
now let's get to terrain bugs including collision
we also have some bugs with our dear Mr. Game & Watch
which allows to slide while returning the projectiles
but also to evoke his kind of breath in the middle of the field
we do not know why
we have to do now a little bug concerning Crazy Main or his alter ego
I do not know this is the case here, which remains stuck below the final destination platform
the only way to finnair this fight is to fetch
Crazy Hand below this platform
Now let's move on to a glitch that will bring back memories to melee players
since it was a similar glitch to this game
Kirby has such a powerful power to disappear Ike from the map view a little bit of it!
so here I do not know what's going on is it's an extraterrestrial abduction
it's weird because it happens because the UFO arrives
then I do not know it's due to the stairs or trophies help
that Rondoudou everything can not use his final smash to the maximum, in any case it makes it laguer
then we have a little bug with the rabbit thieves this is a bug that is
achievable through manipulations several times of time including
apparently this thief can have other glitch effects
rather nice it's a little disguises I'll let you look
this time we find ourselves for a little graphic bug
regarding the pokemon stage go on it in aquatic form with fox
you will have to make a fast speed while putting the joystick down
you will find yourself in the Pokemon Stadium
I leave you now with other graphic bugs
I have nothing else to comment on these bugs except to let you see
and tell me what you think, if you ever liked this video do not hesitate to subscribe
to have others in the future to let me know in the comments
dropped a little like to support me
you can also find my social networks in description if you ever
need to contact me tell me by the same occasion that she is the glitch that
you did not know in this video and what is your favorite on this
I wish you a good day good evening it depends on what time are you watching this video
BYE!

Is It Better To Have Young or Old Parents? - Duration: 9:01.
When people are deciding what age to have children at, you'll often hear them say
that before they have kids there are a lot of things they want to get done first.
Maybe travel the world, maybe concentrate on a career, or at least just wait until the
twenties are out of the way.
On the flip side, some people will tell you that they want to have children at a young
enough age so that they can actively play sports with their children when the kids are
in their teens, adding that they don't want to be ageing parents because they fear they
won't have the energy required, say, in their 50s, to still be dealing with kids.
Today we'll talk about all the pros and cons, in this episode of the Infographics
Show, Is it better to be born to younger or older parents?
As we just pointed out, there are many reasons why people choose to be younger or older parents.
Sometimes kids just happen of course, but often parenting is meticulously planned.
So, let's say you were born to older parents.
What does older mean?
Well, for women having a kid over the age of 35 could be said to qualify the woman as
being an older parent.
As for men, they can keep on giving well into old age, but that doesn't mean they should
do that.
Before we talk about the kids, we should say that science doesn't seem to disagree that
the longer a woman waits there could be more birth complications for her and the kid.
The U.S. National Institutes of Health tells us in older age women are more at risk of
having a stillbirth, miscarriage, or ectopic pregnancy.
That means the baby being in an abnormal position.
The woman also has more chance of having high blood pressure during pregnancy, higher cholesterol,
developing diabetes, and according to the American Stroke Association, if women are
over 40 after getting pregnant, they are more at risk of having a stroke or heart attack.
There are more risks, and they are well-documented.
It seems if a woman gives birth at a later age, perhaps over 35 or 40, there is more
chance of the baby being born with Down syndrome.
We are also told that there is risk of other congenital anomalies when women have kids
at a later age.
Other studies tell us the kids also have more chance of developing neuropsychiatric disorders
such as autism or even schizophrenia.
This all sounds grim, but the American Journal of Epidemiology said that this has more to
do with the health of the woman, her lifestyle, than it does with age alone.
Many critics will tell you that there is a bit of scaremongering going on, to compel
women not to wait too long.
Now for some good news for older mothers.
As you can imagine, having a teenage parent might not always be the best thing in the
world.
Often the woman has not matured enough in life to be an able parent, while there is
always the risk of the mother, and perhaps father if he is young too, just not being
ready.
There is also money to consider, as a younger mother and father might not be financially
prepared to have a child.
There are many other benefits of having children at a later age.
One Danish study that seems to be cited a lot found that kids born to older parents
had fewer emotional and behavioral problems than kids born to young parents.
But these were kids studied at age seven and eleven.
It seemed at age fifteen things levelled out.
It gets better for older parents.
Another study undertaken in the UK and U.S. found that kids born to older mothers and
fathers on average had a higher IQ than kids born to younger parents.
That study found the kids had more success in education, especially when it came to subjects
that fall into the STEM category, meaning Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Another study called "The Relationship Between Maternal Education and Children's Academic
Outcomes," found that kids born to older parents have more chance at developing good
vocabularies, being able to articulate themselves better, which has nothing to do with biology
but the fact that often older parents often have a richer vocabulary, and this is passed
onto the kids.
In fact, as Psychology Today tells us, older parents are on average more educated than
younger parents, whether formally or informally, and this affects how well the kids will do
in school.
The kids of older parents in general outshone other kids in education.
But you can add to this the fact that in general the kids of older parents spent more meaningful
time with their parents since those parents had more time to give.
Younger parents to some extent are still either working very hard or perhaps haven't grown
up enough to dedicate all their time to their kids.
Another bonus, according to a study in the Menopause Journal anyway, is mothers who had
kids later in life had more chance of living to a very old age.
It seems because older mothers had waited until the ideal time, they were able to take
better care of themselves prior to having kids.
It didn't seem to affect how much longer men lived, or at least the study didn't
mention that.
One doctor also noted, "This does not mean women should wait to have children at older
ages in order to improve their own chances of living longer."
The advantages of being an older parent are listed in many other studies.
That Danish study we mentioned also said that older parents are less likely to lose their
cool and start shouting and screaming at their kids, which is good if you are an older parent
but also good for the child's well-being.
A 2012 study published in the British Medical Journal said that young kids they looked at
born to older parents had lots of advantages.
Some of these were a better body mass index (BMI), advanced language capabilities, advanced
social development, and these kids were even less likely to be admitted to hospital.
It seems older parents were more adept than younger parents at keeping their kids away
from actions that resulted in injuries.
Again, there are lots of studies out there that will tell you that older parents have
more risk of producing a child that has birth defects, physical or psychological, and this
is solely related to chromosomal abnormalities.
But as we pointed out, there seems to be lots of benefits for the parent and child if the
parent is older.
We must also remember that many other factors will affect the child's development, such
as being born with one or two parents or how financially well-off the parents are.
Not all young kids are born to struggling parents.
Kids might be born to older parents that leave them with a nanny all the time and spoil them
rotten at other times, which isn't necessarily good for the child.
Ok, so now let's look at some of the benefits of being a younger parent, for both parent
and child.
Unfortunately, there seems to be less scientific research on this than there is anecdotal reportage.
Those benefits include young parents not having to deal with a tricky transition later in
life.
Older parents might have gotten a little bit too used to their lifestyle.
Some reports suggest that younger parents might be able to relate better to their kids.
They might understand their teenage culture, and so in times of difficulties be able to
offer more sound advice.
They will likely still have a lot of energy, too, which means being able to do more things
with kids, including dads going to the park and playing sports, at least with vigor.
But perhaps one of the biggest reasons to have kids early in life is to free some time
up in later age.
This is how one parent put it, "While other parents who decided to have kids later in
life will be busy chasing toddlers or managing the mood swings of preteens, I'll be busy
rekindling my dreams, pursuing my passions and traveling."
There might also be active grandparents around who are still young enough to get in on the
act of bringing up the kids, while kids with older parents might miss out on hanging out
with the old folks.
Live Science cited a study involving lots of parents, although the study, conducted
by the University of California, unfortunately only included parents that had good incomes
and were white.
It wanted to know what the ideal age was to have kids.
From that study it was revealed that being an older parent was better in various ways,
but the main reason was that the parents seemed to be more emotionally prepared for the task
of parenting.
Older parents in general had more freedom from work, more money, and more time for their
kids.
Saying that, many women in the study also said they would have ideally had kids earlier
in life if they had had the money.
They basically didn't have kids at a young age because they didn't feel financially
prepared.
Moreover, a third of the women in the study and a quarter of the men, who had all had
kids late, said they felt they didn't have the right amount of energy for their kids.
It's complicated, though, and some studies suggest that there is a sweet spot in age
to have children.
The U.S. National Institutes of Health wrote this in 2012, "We find that offspring born
to mothers younger than age 25 or older than 35 have worse outcomes with respect to mortality,
self-rated health, height, obesity, and the number of diagnosed conditions than those
born to mothers aged 25–34."
Perhaps, as we said, younger mothers and fathers might not be the best prepared, and perhaps
if mothers are over 35, as this study says, there might be more chance of birth defects
related to what it calls the mothers' 'fecundity" or lack thereof.
There are so many studies out there, and not all are equal.
You may have seen the British tabloid headline saying older dads made uglier kids, if the
dads were over 40.
But if you look closely at that study it's hardly science-based.
In fact, it's not reliable at all.
The debate is ongoing, regarding if it's better to have kids at a younger or older
age, both for the child and the parent.
What do you think?

2019 Subaru Forester vs. 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road: Which Is Best On and Off the Road? - Duration: 14:23.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
TRAVIS LANGNESS: That's Calvin Kim.
CALVIN KIM: And that's Travis Langness.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: What I've done today
is brought out the all-new Subaru Forester for testing.
Basically, the Subaru Forester was
one of the original crossovers, and it's still pulling off
all the same tricks.
It does all the SUV stuff, but with more comfort and tech
along the way.
What did you bring to compete with it?
CALVIN KIM: I brought out the Toyota 4Runner.
It's an old school SUV--
body-on-frame construction, solid rear axle.
But on top of that, it seats five, carries a lot of stuff,
and you can tow with it.
You could say it's the ultimate adventure vehicle.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: While that may be true in people's minds,
I think the Subaru can go most of the places
that your 4Runner can.
And I think it'll be better for the days
in between those adventures.
But let's put them to the test, head to head,
and see which one comes out on top.
CALVIN KIM: Do it.
Before any adventure, you got to pack.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: So we brought all the camping gear we own,
and we'll see which rig can hold more of it.
CALVIN KIM: Let's do it.
Wow.
It all fit with room to spare.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: Yeah.
Let's take it all out and see what the Subaru does.
These one-touch folding seats are nice.
The 4Runner doesn't have that.
CALVIN KIM: Yeah, so I guess it fits.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: Kind of.
I mean, you can't see out the rear view mirror.
And when we had it loaded in the 4Runner,
there was room to spare.
But it's all in there.
CALVIN KIM: You know what?
I'll take this one then.
Ugh.
Let's hit the road.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: For more videos like this,
subscribe to the Edmunds YouTube channel.
And now we're going to hit the road, head for the mountains.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
CALVIN KIM: Let's get one thing out of the way first.
If you like to argue about 31s or 33s fitting
under your fenders, get out of here.
Go back to T4R.org and argue about transfer box gear
ratios or something.
This video is about regular people doing the 9 to 5,
Monday through Friday.
And maybe once or twice a month, getting the family out
and enjoying nature.
The Toyota 4Runner started out life based on a truck.
It has body-on-frame construction,
a solid rear axle, and beefy suspension.
And this model is absolutely no different.
Some people may think of it as a utilitarian crossover type
vehicle, and they're wrong.
It's still a truck.
And one of the compromises to its truck-based design
is in its handling.
Now this 4Runner is equipped with beefy all-terrain tires.
And while I'm sure they work great off road,
they're not ideal on the road.
For one thing, they make a lot of noise.
And when you push them at all, especially through cornering,
they howl.
The steering itself is very light,
but you don't get a lot of feel.
The 4.0 liter V6 engine on front makes 270 horsepower,
which is pretty good.
But then it's made it to a 5-speed transmission that's
very sluggish.
When you're going up hills or you're fully loaded,
it likes to hung around.
It'll downshift frequently from fifth to fourth to third.
And frankly, it's annoying.
On initial application, the 4Runner's brakes
are light and squishy.
There's not much going on.
But then they get grabby the harder and deeper
you get into it.
But most importantly is you're going to notice the nosedive.
I think Toyota could've done better.
One area where this old design truly excels in
is in its utility.
Three adults can fit in the back seat, no problem.
Fold those seats down, and you get a gigantic cargo area
with a flat load floor.
You still need more cargo than that, you crazy hoarder?
This thing will tow 5,000 pounds.
Suck it, crossover.
The 4Runner is a lot more expensive than a Forester,
but you'd never know it when you look inside.
There's a lot of hard plastics, synthetics.
Yeah, sure, there's some soft touchpoints.
And frankly, the seats are comfortable enough
for all-day driving.
But they're not heated, and the Subaru gets heated back seats.
Toyota didn't prioritize technology inside the 4Runner.
For one thing, there are no driver's aids--
no blind spot detection, no adaptive cruise control.
You only get a rear view camera.
And then there's infotainment.
Toyota's entering system can be found throughout their lineup.
And to use some of their higher-end functions,
you got to download an app onto your smartphone,
pair it up, sign in to an account,
sign in to more accounts-- it's frustrating,
and frankly, we're not fans.
But we are fans of Toyota's off-road technology.
Now there's a lot of acronyms involved,
but all we need to know is, it allows
you to off-road like a pro.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: Now that we've been on the road for a while,
let's take a look at the inside of the Subaru Forester.
And let's talk about why we brought this particular car.
This one, the Touring model, is topped out.
It's the most expensive one you can get,
and it's about $35,000.
And that's the same price as a base SR5 4Runner.
And even the 4Runner we have here, though, that's more,
isn't as nice as this Subaru is on the inside.
I mean, you've got leather seats, heated front
and second row.
You've got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.
This infotainment interface is so much nicer--
way better graphics, way easier to use.
And you get Subaru's EyeSight system,
which has a lot of cool tech features.
You've got adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring,
and lane keep assist.
And you get Subaru's driver-focused system.
There's a camera-- an infrared system--
looking at me to tell whether or not I'm paying attention
to the road--
whether I'm getting drowsy.
It has real audible and visual alerts
that keep me aware of what's going on in front of me,
and whether or not I should pull over
and take a nap-- have a little bit of a rest.
For on-road comfort, this one's a winner too.
It's got nice, comfortable seats, good seating position,
plenty of leg room in the front and the rear.
And basically, a really quiet, comfortable highway
ride that translates to the city too.
It doesn't beat you up over potholes.
And if you're taking it on a long road trip, I mean,
there's no doubt this is the one to go with.
One of the benefits of driving a crossover instead
of a body-on-frame SUV is you get much better handling.
Coming up these mountain roads, yeah sure,
this Forester's no sports car.
But it's definitely more enjoyable to drive.
It's lighter, and it feels more agile around corners.
It doesn't have a lot of that body roll
that's typically associated with a big SUV like the 4Runner.
Now there is a downside to this Forester
that's pretty significant, and that's in power.
And that 4Runner has almost 100 horsepower more
than this Forester, so, clearly, this
isn't going to be the one you're going to tow with.
But the upside is fuel economy.
The Forester gets much better fuel economy-- city, highway,
and combined.
And really, when you're going in between adventures--
when you're driving hundreds of miles to get to a mountain
road--
it's going to cost you a lot less cash to get there
if you're driving one of these.
When we hit the trail tomorrow, the 4Runner--
yeah, it's going to have a little bit easier time.
But I still have a lot of confidence in the Subaru--
X-MODE, all-wheel drive, plenty of ground clearance.
And honestly, I'm excited to see how far this thing can go.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
TRAVIS LANGNESS: So we're all done with the on-road stuff
and made it up to the campsite here on the mountain.
I had a good time in the Forester.
How was your ride up in the 4Runner?
CALVIN KIM: The 4Runner did just fine.
I mean, I sure could've used some of the creature comforts
in the Forester though.
But I'm really looking forward to seeing how well it does off
the road tomorrow.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: Yeah, I mean, we're
going to camp out tonight, get an early start in the morning.
And I'm looking forward to hitting the trails
as soon as we can.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
TRAVIS LANGNESS: We packed up our camp
and started out onto the trail to see
what these vehicles could do.
The Forester has 8.7 inches of ground clearance,
which is more than enough to clear most off-road obstacles.
It also has all-wheel drive and Subaru's X-MODE software,
both of which manage wheel spin and traction
to keep you moving forward in the dirt, sand,
the mud, or even deep snow.
And the Subaru's unibody construction
means better handling, a better ride,
and its space-efficient design allows me to fill it
with all my camping gear.
The Forester is built for these kinds of adventures.
CALVIN KIM: When the pavement fades away
and the going gets dirty, the 4Runner starts to shine.
This is its element.
And all the compromises that we mentioned
on the road become irrelevant.
And the ability to shift into 4Lo
let you go places the Subaru couldn't even
dream of reaching.
Yeah, the Subaru can hang on these backcountry trails
and will probably satisfy most people
looking for an adventure.
But for those of you who want to really get off the beaten path,
there is no discussion.
The 4Runner is virtually unstoppable.
If you want to know more about these capabilities,
click the link in the top-right corner.
Let's see what you get for your money.
Well, you get Multi-Terrain Select.
Multi-Terrain Select adjusts the speed of each individual wheel
so that you have traction over varied surfaces like rocks,
moguls, and sand.
But the real deal is in with this right
here, which is Crawl Control.
Crawl Control even takes care of the acceleration
part-- the throttle.
Think of it as off-road cruise control.
And when you combine it with the built-in locking rear
differential and kinematic dynamic suspension system,
or KDSS--
the Toyota's hydraulic sway-bar articulation enhancement
system--
it's an amazing system that allows anyone
to tackle the toughest terrains with ease.
That's just something the Subaru can't do.
All right, I'm now in the Forester.
Let's put the X-MODE in dirt and see what it'll do.
The important thing is to try to keep the body
level to allow the traction control system to do
as much work as you can, but--
ugh.
Yeah, I don't think it's going to do it though.
Yeah, I don't want to go much farther than this.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
TRAVIS LANGNESS: So we're coming back
down the backside of the mountain.
We got through all the hard stuff.
And honestly, I wouldn't have been able to talk to you
if that was the section I was driving through now.
We're on the easy kind of flat downhill bits here.
And I'm super surprised at how capable this Subaru is.
There were several sections--
rocks, jagged portions, things getting real close
to the edge--
and a lot of articulation that I didn't think this Subaru
was going to be able to do when we got to them.
It hung a leg or two up in the air.
It definitely felt almost vertical at times.
But it made it down unscathed.
And what that tells me is that a vehicle like this
is totally adventure-friendly.
Sure, you're not going to crawl up a sheer rock
face at 50 degrees.
But for most of the stuff that I like to do--
getting out into the wilderness, off the beaten path--
this is great.
CALVIN KIM: So we just got done with the more difficult part
of the trail, and we're on relatively flatter ground.
As to be expected, the 4Runner didn't even break a sweat.
It can get out of situations that are mind-bogglingly
difficult.
Having said that, you do lose out
on a lot of on-road comfort and stability.
And the reality is, I think most people spend
their time on the road more than on the trail.
So that's going to be a compromise that you're
going to have to make.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: I seem to be a lot more
comfortable than Calvin.
I mean, basically, this car is absorbing the bumps better.
And I'm not bouncing around as much
on the inside of the cabin, nor am I worried about all my stuff
in the back hopping up and over and hitting me
in the back of the head.
CALVIN KIM: But either way you go, the 4Runner is definitely
a fun and adventurous vehicle.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: This off-road stuff is great,
and the Forester is great at it.
Honestly, I wasn't very confident in certain spots,
especially the big rock ruts and things
where it sticks a rear wheel way up in the air,
and times when it feels like it's vertically going down
the face of a mountain.
But once you get to these bouncy, bumpy sections,
the Subaru is more comfortable.
And it made it down all that other
stuff I was talking about completely unscathed.
Sure, it's dirty and dusty, but hey, that's
what we came out here for, right?
CALVIN KIM: So what did we find out?
TRAVIS LANGNESS: Well, after all that on-road stuff and all
the off-road stuff coming down this mountain, 95% of the time,
I would rather live with the Subaru.
Sure, the 4Runner is better in those small case scenarios
when you're going over those rock gardens,
and stuff gets really hairy.
But this one is more comfortable on road.
It's got more equipment for the money,
and it's less expensive than that 4Runner.
CALVIN KIM: You know what?
I'm a body-on-frame traditionalist,
and I love the 4Runner.
I love its adventuresome and fun nature.
I love its durability.
But I got to say, if we're asking the question,
has the crossover caught up to the SUV?
I think the Forester is proof that it has.
TRAVIS LANGNESS: I agree.

Parents Think Son's Pet Lizard Is Pregnant, Have Hysterical Experience At The Vet's Office - Duration: 6:26.
If you have raised kids (or been one), and gone through the pet syndrome, including toilet
flush burials for dead goldfish, the story below will have you laughing
out LOUD!
Overview: I had to take my son's lizard to the vet.
Here's what happened: Just after dinner one night, my son came up
to tell me there was "something wrong" with one of the two lizards he holds prisoner
in his room.
"He's just lying there looking sick," he told me.
"I'm serious, Dad . Can you help?"
I put my best lizard-healer expression on my face and followed him into his bedroom.
One of the little lizards was indeed lying on his back, looking stressed.
I immediately knew what to do.
"Honey," I called, "come look at the lizard!"
"Oh, my gosh!" my wife exclaimed.
"She's having babies."
"What?"
my son demanded.
"But their names are Bert and Ernie, Mom!"
I was equally outraged.
"Hey, how can that be?
I thought we said we didn't want them to reproduce," I said accusingly to my wife.
"Well, what do you want me to do, post a sign in their cage?"she inquired (I think
she actually said this sarcastically!)
"No, but you were supposed to get two boys!"
I reminded her, (in my most loving, calm, sweet voice, while gritting my teeth).
"Yeah, Bert and Ernie!" my son agreed.
"Well, it's just a little hard to tell on some guys, you know," she informed me
(Again with the sarcasm!).
By now the rest of the family had gathered to see what was going on.
I shrugged, deciding to make the best of it.
"Kids, this is going to be a wondrous experience," I announced.
"We're about to witness the miracle of birth.."
"Oh, gross!" they shrieked "Well, isn't THAT just great?
What are we going to do with a litter of tiny little lizard babies?"
my wife wanted to know.
We peered at the patient.
After much struggling, what looked like a tiny foot would appear briefly, vanishing
a scant second later.
"We don't appear to be making much progress," I noted.
"It's breech," my wife whispered, horrified.
"Do something, Dad!" my son urged.
"Okay, okay."
Squeamishly, I reached in and grabbed the foot when it next appeared, giving it a gentle
tug.
It disappeared.
I tried several more times with the same results.
"Should I call 911?" my eldest daughter wanted to know.
"Maybe they could talk us through the trauma."
"Let's get Ernie to the vet," I said grimly..
We drove to the vet with my son holding the cage in his lap.
"Breathe, Ernie, breathe," he urged.
"I don't think lizards do Lamaze," his mother noted to him.
The vet took Ernie back to the examining room and peered at the little animal through a
magnifying glass.
"What do you think, Doc, a C-section?"
I suggested scientifically.
"Oh, very interesting," he murmured.
"Mr. and Mrs..
Cameron, may I speak to you privately for a moment?"
I gulped, nodding for my son to step outside.
"Is Ernie going to be okay?"
my wife asked.
"Oh, perfectly," the vet assured us.
'This lizard is not in labor..
In fact, that isn't EVER going to happen.
. .Ernie is a boy.
You see, Ernie is a young male.
And occasionally, as they come into maturity, like most male species, they um . . um . . . Just
the way he did, lying on his back."
He blushed, glancing at my wife.
We were silent, absorbing this.
"So, Ernie's just .just . . . excited," my wife offered.
"Exactly," the vet replied, relieved that we understood.
More silence.
Then my wife started to giggle.
And giggle.
And then even laugh loudly.
"What's so funny?"
I demanded, knowing, but not believing that the woman I married would commit the upcoming
affront to my flawless manliness.
Tears were now running down her face.
'"it's just .that . .I'm picturing you pulling on its . … . its.
. . teeny little . . " She gasped for more air to bellow in laughter
once more.
"That's enough," I warned.
We thanked the vet and hurriedly bundled the lizard and our son back into the car..
He was glad everything was going to be okay.
"I know Ernie's really thankful for what you did, Dad." he told me.
"Oh, you have NO idea," my wife agreed, collapsing with laughter.
Two lizards: $140.
One cage: $50.
Trip to the vet: $30.
Memory of your husband pulling on a lizard's winkie: Priceless!
Moral of the story: Pay attention in biology class.
Lizards lay eggs!

How I Started to Believe There Is a God - Duration: 10:07.
Hi everyone, I am about to share some experience about God.
Firstly, I want to tell you a little about myself.
I am originally from China, I came to Canada six years ago as an international student.
None of my family follows any religion so becoming christian for me and for my family
is an unimaginable thing...is like a miracle.
I was growing up in a loving and understanding family...
My parents just believe in science they do not have any religious background but God
is existing in this world for sure because he has been doing a mighty work in me.
It takes me back 3 years ago..my darkest time in Canada.
During that point in time I was worried about my permanent residence, stressed from work
and also sad from the breakup with my ex-boyfriend.
Worse after worse I got bad news from home that my mom was sick.. the doctor said one
of her blood vessels cracked she needed a big surgery that might take her life.
I was worried to death.
In order to calm myself down I started watching some inspirational videos online.
One day a worship video (christian video) from a famous pastor just jumped in front
of my eyes.
I remember he was talking about everything works out for good.
I did not know why...
I just liked his speech a lot.
The content of his words really inspired me.
So I found more to watch online which started my christian journey.
On top of that I had been reading some books to inspire me.
So I had gained some knowledge about who I am, figuring out what I want to do for my
life but I had a big question in my mind.
There was something I felt was leading me was like a.. leading my life.. the hand of
something but I did not know what it was.
So I had that question mark in me.
Then I started going to church.
I should thank a good friend.
I still remember the first time we met it was through a mutual friend in a car (ride).
After the first sentence she said I noticed that she was a christian.
I even spoke out I asked her "Are you a christian?"
She was so shocked she said how can you know?
I did not tell you I am a christian.
So this "magic" thing brought us together and we started talking, we became good friends.
I told her what I was confused about - I said I felt like there was something that was leading
me in my life I did not know what it was.
So she shared her experience with God with me.
And she told me it might be God calling you which made me even more confused.
Then she invited me to go to church.
Which I did.
Actually, the first few times I went to church I did not feel anything special.
I liked the music, I liked the dancing there and people there were very nice and friendly
to talk.
But I did not have that desire to become a christian right away.
I think what made me make this decision was that I wanted to know more about God.
I wanted to understand the lecture (sermon) in church.
I wanted to research my initial question - what that was leading my life.
It's a long journey for me.
I believe for every christian maybe it is the same.
It was just not my effort.
It was also God putting effort in me.
So I did a lot of things.
For example reading the Bible, joining connect groups, translating ministry material for
Chinese group and hanging out with people who read the Bible.
But none of these things were initiated by me.
They all just came to me from nowhere.
So I believe that the hand of God doing the work for me.
God also really wanted that relationship with me.
So I believe this is a mutual relationship.
Because I started to feel some positive change in me.. yeah I could feel the peace like in
me all the time and also the joy that comes from deep down inside.
So even my friends could notice the difference in me so now I am more patient, loving, considerate
and gentle which is definitely because of God.
As I had tried to change some of my personality (traits) which I did not like, I had tried
really hard but I was not able to do it.
Because now I have God.. something just automatically changed towards a good direction.
None of my circumstances changed.
I am still doing the same job, I still live in the same place but the insides.. the spiritual
thing I can feel it has been changed positively.
For sure, when you yourself change you can see it in the way you deal with other people,
stress, relationships they all change.
I had a lot of stress due to work, due to anxiety.
Now I don't feel that much stress anymore.
I don't feel that intensity anymore.
Because the peace God gave to me.
And also the relationship with others.
I am able to open myself more.
Because before I was a person that little bit more conservative ... I did not want to
get hurt so I did not have many friends.
Now because of God I have more friends than before.
I feel more happier than before.
Because the relationship I have built with God changed the relationship with myself as
well.
So I love myself more.
Now whenever I meet my friends I always hear that I am a different person now.
I love myself right now.
I love myself to be considerate, more willing to help people, I feel like I am a better
version of myself now because of God's help.
I have much more freedom and much more joy and I am becoming like a blessing for people
who are around me.
First thing I want to emphasize - God is definitely real.
He is around us all the time.
No matter if you are a Christian or not.
Second thing, if you want to know more, if you are curious maybe you can start reading
the Bible or go to a church or ask someone who is a mature Christian.
And also I wan to encourage everybody who watched this video to be more open minded.
There definitely is something in this world you do not know.
If you do not get out of your comfort zone and try to understand you will never know
it.
You will miss this valuable experience that we as Christians are experiencing right now.
So what we are doing is very meaningful cause I want to let other people know you can have
this experience as well with God.
So with positive change in you and in your life and I believe you will have a better
life with God's company and also you will find who you are and also do the things you
are supposed to do in your life.
