December 2004 this company created a drug called seasonique well back in 1997
I had a child please say hello to see the meek your name is seasoning my name
is seasonique boniva williams that's right and that's not the only
example this company has named dozens of their drugs after members of my family
this is Williams
that's certainly interesting please we have a whole team that names our
products according to years of research this is clearly a coincidence oh really
well let's look at some other examples shall we celexa she lives down the way
over there cymbalta but she's fine she does my hair and she don't have a shop
so I go to her house where she has a little baby named little liquor it was
good everybody yeah that was really really funny but the prices you got to
pay for your prescription drugs and your healthcare in this country it's
definitely no laughing matter you literally got to give you a whole
retirement account to drug companies and folks like that if you want to maintain
some form of quality of life this video is gonna be real good for you folks
that's got family members that are paying crazy prices on their
prescription drugs and all that even for my filthy McNasty folks out there that
want to get de viagra this is gonna help you out and if you're just now finding
my channel for the first time please go ahead subscribe click that notification
builder to be down with the life gains team every time we drop a new video that
helps you make life gains in all areas of your life my issue with healthcare in
America I would like for everybody to have health care but the real problem is
that we've got to get our hands around the exorbitant prices of health care
we've got the highest prices with the lowest return of any thriving nation and
we need to do something about that but this video is gonna help
save money on those prescription drugs
for those that are new to this channel and don't know your boy is a former
licensed respiratory therapist in the state of North Carolina and one of the
reasons I got into debt was because I had bad asthma as a kid and it
eventually led to me being overweight because no one really educated my mom on
just because the child has asthma doesn't mean you limit him and what he
does in terms of play but my mom thought it was the reverse the less he plays the
less I'm gonna have to miss time from working and keep in mind we was in
poverty and I don't want him missing time from work so he ain't gonna do PE
but I kept getting sick over and over prednisone which is very expensive blah
blah blah and it led to me be in fact which eventually led to me being a
trainer now so that's the little background on me for those that want to
know why I know so much about medicine discounts and all that and the first
site you're gonna go to is an American site this is not gonna save you the most
money but if you don't want to go the other route imma show you it'll help
this is called good Rx and you can download this as an app and what good rx
does it helps you find the lowest prices of drugs in your community so out of all
the pharmacies in your local neighborhood you just type in a drug see
I did our Beauty wrong because that's something that as Matt it would have to
use and I am still a asthmatic and you scroll down and you see the various
prices you would pay for 25 vials which is going to be one inhaler about beuter
off and you can sign up for good Rx is a little coupon thing that they have and
they'll give you a free coupon the first time but after that you've got to pay
like a little monthly feel whatever and there it is right there
but as you can see it's comparing Kroger's 25 Safeway 29 Walmart doesn't
give it I guess is nine dollars within Rite Aid nine dollars so forth and so
forth all right this is called good Rx and this channel is all about helping
you make those life games and saving your money is a great way to make life
gains and that's what we're doing on this channel and over here you can go
and see what it will cost you with Medicare if that's something that you
get have and I know a lot of my older folks
have got Medicare to give you overall reviews on that as you can see it shows
you typical price what did what the range is gonna be for your deductible
doughnut holes loopholes and pay it shows you everything you can get a good
estimate of who has the best drug at the lowest price for you and they give you
all the details you need from the info to the side-effects
all right so this is good art I'm going to show you the other app well the other
website now that you can use that I personally use I get my drugs
internationally and that one is called let me get rid of a little
cutie-patootie casandra's I don't need her no closing Chad yes no talk to you
alright farm store now this is based in Canada and this is one of those ones
that the United States has been trying to get rid of and they'll tell you is
for safety blah blah blah and all that but countries around the world are using
this one to help people save money on their drugs and I use it because our
butyl you guys saw was like you know it ranged from 30 bucks to nine dollars for
one VAT in America alright so up here they've got the albuterol and I'm gonna
go ventolin which is the generic name you can get 600 doses of the generic
equivalent for $19 alright 600 doses so basically for the price of
one because one on the other site was about 19 $30 you're getting two so it
saves you a ton of money now when you first use this site in order it's gonna
take probably about depending upon where the drug is coming from maybe a week for
you to get it but it's gonna save you big big money now let me show you
another comparison for my filthy McNasty old guys out there they're still using
that viagra we're gonna type in viagra all right viagra saw a dealer fail and
let's just see so as you can see one tablet hundred milligrams all right
$23 most places around here you know somewhere around that range $25 and I'm
in the Triad area of North Carolina okay so you got there now most dudes you
ain't planning on hitting somebody one time and if you need this drug you might
be one of these dudes out here who on the thirst Quinn you want to get it in
four or five six times a week well let's just say you need six tablets all right
six tablets is gonna cost you here hun at 73 399 358 so forth and so forth this
is good rx looking around local places where I live let's go to farm store
where you can order it from Canada and type in the same drug and see what is it
going to cost you to get okay so BAM as you can see look what pops up
immediately 400 milligram tab you can get 16 for 154 dollars and we'll scroll
back to this page just to get six tablets you're looking at the same price
to get 16 tablets of the SANS Road and if you want to get the generic
equivalent same stuff right here 16 tablets cost you $21 and I know you guys
might be wondering well is it safe and all that I've been using farm store for
the last five years to order all my asthma drugs from there and have not had
a problem everything has been safe you know we tend to try to scare people in
America because we don't want them to have the knowledge of doing better for
certain things especially something like the monopoly drug companies they don't
want you to go and get this drug for no else they're gonna try to scare you and
to Pam Moore money but I'm here to tell you farm store is going to be the
absolute best place for you to get your drugs and if you got pets you can get
pet medicine you can get non prescription drugs for my folks in the
fitness industry like you can order vitamin d3 from there and it's real
good you can order your vitamin season your multivitamins you get all that
along with your prescription drugs this is an absolute great place for people to
get their drugs and save tons of money you just got to order it in advance
you know sometimes it can take up to four weeks depend upon the drug but if
you just notice you got to get the drug saving a hundred and fifty to three
hundred dollars versus waiting for a week that's a no-brainer you've got to
make them life games ladies and gentlemen and that's what this channel
does so check out both of them let me know which one you like I got a link in
description for both sites you use my promo code on-farm store they're gonna

How To Stay Positive When Everything Is Going Wrong - Duration: 17:19.
It's hard to watch the news. It seems like everything's going wrong. How do you
stay positive when everything's going wrong? Let's take that on. We're all about
positivity here on the channel and it's a legitimate question. When everything is
going wrong in this world, how do you stay positive? I've written up a summary
in Portable Positivity. Some of you already have this little mini book. If
you don't, click in the description on the link there that will give you a free
digital copy. This gives you the model behind most of what I'm going to talk
about today. So rather than repeating all of that, you can get it in the mini book.
Let's go to 5 specific things that you can do to increase your positivity
when everything's going wrong. First of all, let's take a look at that. Things are
going wrong? What do we mean by that? Notice that we take that position
sometimes because we have an expectation. And our expectation of how things should
go is violated. And that's how we know that things are going wrong. I love that
I get to illuminate the obvious in my job. Because the process is in our mind
are obvious once they're called to your attention but you don't even notice them
until they're called to your attention. So notice that you're judging this to be
wrong. One of my clients recently sat down on the couch in my office and said,
"Dr. Paul, this just is not the way that it should be." What he meant was, "This
isn't the way I expected my life to turn out." My wife and I were watching a movie
years ago it's called Dan In Real Life. And one of the quotes from that movie
that has stuck with me all of these years is that we should teach our kids
to expect to be surprised. What if we expected to
be surprised? Then we won't get all tipped over when things don't happen the
way that we want them to happen or the way we think they should happen. Expect
to be surprised. This isn't bad news. It's just the way that we roll here. Notice
that it happens. Realizing that you are judging your circumstances and
determining that this is bad it's not the way that it should be. Let's go to
the next tip that I have for you. This is going to be hard. I'll give you that
disclaimer right up front. Don't worry about the fact that it's hard. Just try
it. Practice saying this is good. Or some variation of that. Well this is perfect
for me. This is exactly how it should be. You're going to practice saying that
because your mind is saying something else. This isn't the way it should be.
This is bad. Okay, the truth of the matter is it is what it is. We put a judgment on
it and then we say that it's good or bad. Painful is not necessarily bad. I'm
playing basketball one morning. I do this about 3 times a week. It's for my
health including my mental health. My wife laughs at me because most of our
emergency room bills are from my basketball activities. I'm doing it for
my health. I was playing basketball one morning when I came down on top of
someone's foot and I turned my ankle. I heard the pop I felt the excruciating
pain racing up my leg and I knew that I had sprained my ankle. Oh, this hurts. If
you've experienced this before you know exactly what I'm talking about. And I
slumped to the floor. And as I'm riding on the floor, grabbing at my ankle, I hear
myself say these words, "This is perfect!" I wasn't being sarcastic. "Oh,
this is perfect." I said, "This is perfect."
Through my pain. I'm in tears. It's really hard. I had practiced saying this. Now,
here's what it did for me. It didn't fix my ankle. Although I'm convinced that if
we take this approach, this positive approach, it assists our body to heal
from the stuff that's going on there too. And I think it did help me to heal
quicker. But here's what it did for me. It changed my mind. And I had practiced it
enough that in a moment of pain, I could say with sincerity, "This is perfect." Folks,
I didn't even know why or how it was perfect at the time. I just knew that I
wanted to take that position. And that from that position, I'd be able to create
something. Now, you're probably thinking, "Oh wow, Dr. Paul is really off of his
rocker now." What I experienced with that was in a increase in my joy. And I'm all
about joy, okay? Thinking about it in that way allowed me to experience joy in the
moment. Enjoying pain sometimes come together. You ask any mom, she knows. It is
extremely painful to go through childbirth. And as those children come
into the world, in the midst of that pain is intense joy. Let's separate the 2 in
our mind. Pain and bad are not the same thing. You can experience the joy. Take
the position. "This is good. This is perfect.
I'm right on schedule." Choose it on purpose and then practice it. The next
tip comes from a friend an associate of mine. I like to call her a friend. She's
really one of my heroes. Jeanne Robertson is one of the funniest
g-rated, family-friendly comedians on the planet. She's 6 foot 2. Thick southern
accent and hilarious. If you get a chance to look her up, you're going to have some
fun. Jeanne has a motto. And I'm going to use that as our next tip. It is, "Find the
funny." Find the funny. There are hilarious things happening all around us in this
world that we sometimes interpret as negative. What if we were to look for and
find the funny? Would that help us to stay positive in a negative situation?
Absolutely. In fact, some of the most painful things that can happen to us
after a period of healing can be looked back on as some of the funniest things
that have happened to us. I think of spraining my ankle and how
ridiculous I must have looked down there on that gym floor. I think of how the
other people that were there with me that morning must have been thinking I
was completely off my rocker. And they didn't know which part of the hospital
to take me to. The emergency room or the psych ward.
I don't know. Finding the funny gives you stories and it adds richness to your
life. I'm thinking of my good friend Bob Kittell. Bob, thank you for sharing this
story with me. He was in Mexico speaking for a big convention. He got into an
accident where the car he was in rolled several times. He was injured but it
retained his sense of humor. And I'm glad that he did because he took some selfies,
he got some pictures of what happened afterwards. When when they were wheeling
him into the hospital, he's got a picture of himself looking up and pointing
toward the sky. There were 2 vultures circling overhead as he's being wheeled
into the hospital. That's funny. He took the time to find the funny. And I
think it accelerated his healing. At the very least, it creates a much more
enjoyable experience in life. One of the tools that I'm a strong advocate for, it
can become our next tip. And that is to think about your thinking. Metacognition
is the term that we use for this. And that's a fancy term I know. It's one of
the ones we make up in psychology. Because it makes us feel smart to make
up words. If you break it down, cognition means thinking. If we put that at this
level, metacognition is a higher level. It's thinking about thinking. Notice that
you can do this. Metacognition is powerful because it creates a space. And
in that space, is where choice exists. Until we see it as a choice, it's not. The
world is going to go on and do whatever the world does. And there will be crimes
committed and there will be natural disasters that occur. It's part of our
experience here. Thinking about our thinking allows us to go higher than
what we would normally think. "Oh, this is bad. we live in a terrible world." And we
don't we live in an amazing blessed world. And we can see that when we think
about our thinking. And notice how we're doing the 2 processes that I explained
in the book. Again, if you want to connect to that mini book, I'll give you a free
digital copy of it. Just click on the link down there in the description. And
you can get a free digital copy of that. You'll see exactly what I'm talking
about. 2 processes. Evaluation and creation. And you can't turn either one
of them off. I'm not trying to tell you how to think. I honestly don't have that
kind of authority. I want you to see that you are thinking. And take some
responsibility for how you're operating the equipment here.
That's why metacognition, thinking about your thingking
is so important. It puts you back in control. And it gives you some element of
choice. That's going to change the game for you. As you do that, you're going to
make some realizations. Some of them are going to be kind of painful. Because when
you think about your thinking, you'll see very quickly that we all (You included.)
fall into a paradigm. A worldview. A way of thinking. And there's only 2
basically. All of the self-help books, all of the personal development, all of the
psychology I've read supports this idea. There are 2 determinants paradigms. I
label them noxious negativity or the victim paradigm versus pathological
positivity or the agent paradigm. I've set them up that way. The negative victim
paradigm has us blaming and saying, "Why me?" And complaining and belly aching
about this terrible life that we have. And it creates captivity and stuckness.
The positivity paradigm on this side, the agent paradigm is the exact opposite and
it creates for us freedom. We're instead of blame, we take responsibility. And
instead of saying, "Why me?" We say, "Why not me?" I had a powerful experience with one
of my clients. 17-year old David comes into my office. He's in tears. Little
context. I'd seen David 10 years earlier when he was seven. When he was 7 his
parents brought him. 7-year olds don't make appointments with me. He was
being abused by 2 older boys in the neighborhood. Now, I hate abuse. Don't get
me started. That's probably another video. But you can see why his parents were
concerned. I worked with him to understand something. What kinds
of kids get abused? How would you answer that? Well, we got David to the right
answer which is, "It's the kind who are available to an abuser." No fault of their
own. It's not the kids who deserve it, is it?
No. All kids who are available to an abuser are at risk. Whether through
relationship or vulnerability or whatever it is. Well, he got it. He had
supportive parents and we were able to work through it. And pretty soon, he's on
his way. Well, he's back at age 17. Guess what? It's
happening again. Except this time it's the high school volleyball coach that's
abusing him. Wow. Again, I hate abuse. Don't get me started.
But here's David crying. And he's asking, "Why me? Why me Dr. Paul? I've been through
this before. Why is this happening again? Why me? Why? Why? Why?" Okay, that is a victim
paradigm. Without making any arguments for the abuser and his poor choices,
let's focus on David. I listened for a while. I'm empathic, I'm a psychologist.
I was listening. At some point, I stopped him. I said, "David, why not you?" He almost
comes out of the chair. He's like, "Shut up." Right? He's 17. I said, "No, think about it.
Seriously. Why not you?" What kind of kids get abused? Oh, yeah. It's the kind that
are available to an abuser. He knew that. "Well then David, which of your friends
would you pick to take your place?" Name somebody. Who do you want to be abused
instead of you? Well he didn't wish that on his worst enemy. "And besides, David, who
better than you? The fact that you've been through this before means you have
skills and tools and resources. You got parents who are supportive. You've got a
counselor you can already talk to. Who better than you to
take this on? You got this man." He started to straighten up in that chair and he
said, "You know what Dr. Paul? You're right." I love it when people say that. But
anyway. "You're right Dr. Paul. I can handle this, huh?" "Yes you can." "Why not me?
I got this." It changed everything. Folks, it did not change the fact that he was
abused, did it? No. What did it changed? Changed his mind. It put him in a
position where now he gets to be in control of this thing. Not as evil abuser.
We give them way too much power in the victim paradigm. Choose an agent paradigm
and move forward with power. You're never wrong about how you feel. How you feel is
100% consistent with the way your mind is doing the processes that we talked
about in the mini book. And how are you supposed to feel when you're in pain?
Well you're supposed to feel pain. If you're being abused or if you sprain
your ankle or if somebody divorces you or if you go bankrupt. Whatever it is,
you've got this. And you can stay positive. You guys get me fired up about
this stuff. Because I know that you can do it. You can stay positive no matter
what. Remember to connect with that mini book that I told you about. It's in the
description down below. It's called Portable Positivity. And I'll give you a
free digital copy, just go connect through that link.

Why Is My Employer Asking Me To Go To A Doctor For Tests? – NJ Attorney Sam Gaylord explains - Duration: 2:16.
You've been hurt in the course of your employment and now your employer is telling you that
you need to go and take a test with a doctor.
Do you want to know why?
Join me and I'll provide you that very valuable information.
Hi.
I'm Sam Gaylord, disability litigator in the State of New Jersey, managing partner at the
law firm of Gaylord Popp.
Representing injured workers in the areas of Workers' Compensation, Social Security
Disability and disability pension appeals.
So, you've been hurt in the course of your employment and now all of a sudden the employer
is telling you that you need to go and take this test with a doctor.
Well the reason for that is because what they're trying to determine is whether or not you
can come back and do your job.
That test is what's called a fit for duty or a functional capacity exam.
What that's going to do is it's going to ask you to go through certain number of exercises
and movements to determine how much you may be able to lift, how much you'll be able to
push, how much you can walk, things of that nature.
And all of those things are being measured in order to determine whether or not you come
back and do your job.
The reason that the employer is using this is potentially for a tool to cut off benefits
or even worse, indicate that you can't go back and do your job.
So it's important to make sure that if you're taking that test that you perform to the maximum
effort that you can do and if not, to contact your attorney and make sure that you're telling
them that this is going on.
If you found this information useful, go to our website.
We have other information and videos regarding this particular topic.

the censorship continues (how SESTA/FOSTA is destroying the internet) [CC] - Duration: 18:03.
Hi everybody I feel as though I'm going to film this video 500 times today. I didn't
want to film it in the first place, but I do consider it necessary, and I want to have
it up by the 31st. My goal is to upload this on the 31st. So if it's up today, and it's
the 31st please like this because I have been struggling. This video is on SESTA/FOSTA which
is a bill that was passed last Spring by the US Government, and is going into effect tomorrow
and is going to majorly effect how you interact with the internet because when things start
by effecting a small amount of the population they end up effecting everyone. So what is
SESTA/FOSTA? Let's start there, originally they were two separate bills SESTA was the
"Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act" and FOSTA was the "Allow States and Victims To Fight
Online Sex Trafficking Act". Now both of these had the emphasis on "fighting sex trafficking"
when in actuality they basically helped shut down any website that let sex workers work.
So what these bills basically did was they destroyed Section 230 of the communications
act of 1934 in regards to sex work. Now right now it's only in regards to sex work, but
god did this set a precedent and it opened the door to further just destroying that act
down the way. When I made my Backpage video I said that that was potentially setting a
precedent because they were trying to make an exception for this one site to not listen
to Section 230 and now they have taken that run with it and applied it to all sites. Am
I a psychic? Can I see the future? No, but basically any sex worker alive could have
told you that this was inevitable when the Backpage shutdown happened. I'm going to be
reading a lot of this of off my notes because it is so important to me that this video is
accurate and I spent a lot of time researching because I was terrified to make it in the
first place. Now this combined bill, because they combined parts of both, states that websites
that facilitate full service sex work were "reckless in sex trafficking" and that they
"did nothing to prevent trafficking of children". Many of these sites paid people to watch the
adult sections for any signs of "forced work" sex trafficking, and to look for any ads that
had anyone that appeared to be under the age of 18. When they found those they communicated
with outside authorities and showed them hey we think this might be a problem. These sites
helped cut down on sex trafficking while allowing sex workers to do their job. These bills are
not going to help when it comes to actual sex trafficking, it's just going to push those
further underground to shadier websites that aren't going to do anything to help with that.
In actuality this is cutting down on the online presence of sex work and pushing more people
to the streets. There's also wording in the bill that could target individuals that teach
sex workers how to be as safe as possible while doing their job. Such as how to thorough
background checks or what sites are still useable that are reliable that won't get them
either arrested or bad clients that kind of stuff, and they can land themselves in prison
for facilitation. There were all these sites that used to be up where people could go and
say if they had a bad client who was physically emotionally whatever abusive, those sites
have also been shut down, of course under these laws. Sex workers are so much less safe
than they before SESTA/FOSTA was brought into play even though it's "all about helping women".
Now all this bill has really done is put consenting sex workers at higher risk which I think is
pretty clear by everything I've said at this point. But the amount of sex workers who have
died this year is upsettingly high. By shutting down online sites like originally Craigslist,
I think that was the first one to go years ago, and then Backpage, and now a ton of others
through this law it pushes women to doing street work if they're doing full service
sex work. And shutting down the sites that they could do background checks on so people
are more likely to get a dangerous client now than they were a year ago, technology
the internet has helped make sex work so much safer than it used to be because if you had
the access, and I want to acknowledge that not everyone has there have been full service
workers that have done street work during this time, but it's been cut down exponentially,
and if you had that access you had these safeguards that aren't full proof but they helped and
now we're getting rid of things that helped make sex work safer. Also the people who are
being trafficked, the people who this law is supposed to actually help, are in so much
more danger now because it's so much more difficult to find them. They used to just
be on surface level internet and they were on a few sites even though they were trying
to hide them as sex workers when in reality they were trafficking victims, but people
who were used to the field could usually tell which ones were and which ones weren't. And
now sex trafficking is being driven into just really the dark web, it's being taken offline
so it's just word of mouth in really unsavory circles, it's going to be so much harder to
save victims, to find victims, versus when we had sites that you could find them off
of and yes it was horrible when they ended up on there but at least you could grab them
off that's no longer an option because those sites are no longer there. Just because we
can't see a problem doesn't mean it no longer exists, but apparently legislators would rather
out of site out of mind and pretend that trafficking victims are just fine now instead of realizing
that they are still there and they are still suffering but they don't have to hear about
them anymore. Now for the main reason that most people are going to be watching this
video. What most people didn't seem to realize in Spring when everyone who was talking about
this was mostly involved in sex work is that this would effect the civilian population,
civilians as people who are not involved in sex work. Now most civilians didn't really
care about this law until maybe late November I think the beginning of December of this
year. Still didn't do research on that, I really don't give a f*ck about when Tumblr
shut their shit down I care a lot more about the people who lost their livelihood but this
is why other people care. Because over half a year after SESTA/FOSTA passed is when social
media started freaking out. Now it wasn't the first site to start putting in radical
changes, did you know that you can no longer have cyber sex on Skype without risking having
your account shut down? That's because of SESTA/FOSTA, they don't want to look like
they're enabling sex work so they just decided to shut that down and that happened last Spring,
but that didn't get media attention, the first thing to get media attention was Tumblr. So
Tumblr, as you may have heard in my Tumblr video, decided to remove all adult content
from their site on December 17th of 2018. Which makes my blood boil a little because
December 17th is The International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, there's
no way a site with as large a sex worker population as Tumblr was not aware of that fact and that's
the day that they decided to wipe them from existence so that was fucked. But that adult
sweep suddenly upset a lot of people cause that's the free porn that they like and it's
getting eradicated. But Tumblr's not the only one, so Tumblr started it, Facebook immediately
followed suit probably so they wouldn't get noticed, they didn't really get noticed, they
changed their rules and regulations so now you can't discuss things of a sexual nature
on the site without potentially getting banned all of these rules on all of these sites make
sure to be really vague just like the law itself so if they realize that something puts
them in hot water they can just eradicate all of that while still falling under their
rules and regulations, they don't have to rewrite things. The problem with the Facebook
rules on top of just eradicating adults talking about sexual things, you want to message your
friend about possibly hooking up tonight? Your account might get suspended, we still
aren't completely sure, according to the rules it could, will it? Who knows! They also put
wording in their new rules that extend to sexual orientation so technically I guess
me going on there and talking about being queer could get my account deleted. I don't
know, that would be interesting. And one of the bigger ones to get some attention but
people right now aren't upset about is Starbucks decided to block I think it was just Pornhub
I don't think it was all porn but for now they're blocking it from their internet so
if you connect to their wifi you can't watch it there. And a lot of people seem to be on
the side of like that's good because people shouldn't be watching porn in public kids
can see it. Again this sounds reasonable but it sounds reasonable in the same way that
the bill sounds reasonable to a lot of people because it says sex trafficking everywhere.
Yes Starbucks is trying to protect themselves so they're shutting down access to sites that
could potentially hurt them by letting people on the site. Who's next? Are you going to
go to a hotel and not be able to watch porn on your laptop because you're connected to
their wifi? Yeah that might sound extreme but this entire law sounds extreme, if I told
you a year ago that Tumblr wouldn't have porn on it would you believe me? I doubt it. This
is the puritinisation of the internet, the US has such a huge hand in how the internet
runs that this is going to effect people around the world. Don't think that just because you're
watching this and you don't live in the United States that this isn't going to effect you
in some way cause all US based companies are going to be putting these new rules and regulations
in. I'm sure if you live in the UK, the EU, any other country that has access to Tumblr
you're currently feeling the effects of the adult purge. And while right now this is only
effecting sexual content this is the beginning of the end for Section 230, down the road
if they decide to continue to dismantle this, which I don't doubt that they will especially
because currently so many of our representatives don't seem to understand how the internet
works. Let's say in two or three years they think "well people shouldn't be able to go
onto websites and just harass one another and talk to each other so horribly, the sites
need to do a better job of like managing this so we're going to put it on them. Harassment
is now illegal online." Again, sounds great, super great. If something like that were to
happen most of the sites we use, including YouTube, would not be able to run. There isn't
a site alive that is large that could monitor their users to that level. The reason there
are purges and there are so many shutdowns right now of adult content is because they
can't manage and monitor to the level of making sure nothing gets by that is "sex work" and
not "porn" or whatever, even though porn is sex work, I could rant for days. But not full
service sex work, not the illegal stuff, because if theres a camera it's not illegal if there
isn't it is, I am... I'm sorry if this video seems a little bit disjointed I hope that
some facts are coming through I'm so much more angry than I was when I made the Tumblr
video because while I'm talking about the hypotheticals of what is probably going to
happen in the future thanks to the beginning of the destruction of Section 230, I'm talking
about how this law effects civilians and it's all really valid like I fully understand hating
that your favorite websites are being effected by this bullshit law. But it shouldn't matter
as much to us, as someone who is not a sex worker my biggest concern right now are my
friends who are. The fact that I know people who's accounts have been shut down under this
law and their livelihood's are effected. People have already died thanks to this damn law,
I'm not kidding when I say that the rate of sex worker deaths has I want to say like quadrupled
this year I can't be sure, also because the rates of deaths are so underreported. Because
again, police don't give a shit about sex workers, but it's bad and it's because of
suicides because they know that no one cares about them, because they know that they might
not be able to make money anymore under this law, because they're afraid of being killed
doing their work because they can't do background checks. I apologize because I know there are
going to be so many jump cuts in this video like I don't even know how I'm going to edit
this all together, but I also don't know how I'm not crying right now. This bill destroyed
lives and it's going to continue to destroy lives. I'm curious what the internet is going
to look in a couple weeks if it's suddenly going to look like a squeaky clean, five year
old friendly space and that's not good for anyone. Sexuality isn't something we should
be criminalizing, sex work honestly isn't something we should be criminalizing but that's
another day I would love to have one of my friends who is sex worker here with me to
have that conversation cause I'm not doing that by myself. I don't have the right to
do that by myself. But I do want to do a call to action I don't ask people to subscribe
anymore, I don't ask people to like unless it's something like this where I'm like "I'm
exhausted please", I rarely do call to actions I am today and it's because this is going
to completely screw up the internet and if enough people get legitimately angry maybe
we can get Congress to undo this like fucked up thing. Now I know a lot of people are going
to think "I live in a blue state so I don't have to call my representative" yes you do.
Honestly as someone who is a Democrat they hate sex workers probably more than Republicans
do. Republicans kind of do the "out of sight, out of mind" thing whereas Democrats do the
"we have to save the women from these horrible mistakes" like no, no matter who your representative
is call. Kamala fucking Harris was the one who started this whole snowball, we need to
fix this. If you don't know who your representatives are I'm putting a link in the description
down below to look them up, it will take two minutes just call you're going to get one
of their interns or secretary, tell them that you do not support SESTA/FOSTA, you want a
repeal of SESTA/FOSTA now. Let's flood them, let's just flood them with all of these calls
for a repeal because starting tomorrow you're gonna want it I can guarantee it. I hope this
video made some sense, I'm going to use the footage I have to make as much sense as possible
I don't know what I'm doing with my arms at this point. I have a lot of feelings, and
none of them are good. I've seen this already hurt too many people, I remember the day that
I found out about it was because I got a text from someone who was breaking down over it
cause they knew that this could ruin their life, and they were suicidal over the bill.
So please, please do the little you have to do to help. Just call it takes two minutes,
I know I get so anxious on phones like everyone else, I hate making phone calls, but it will
take you two minutes I promise, just make the call help save some lives please. I wish
you all a wonderful start to 20biteen and I will see you soon, with hopefully now actually
a video that's happier but I'm going to keep making content on stuff like this because
it's important and it's not on Youtube really, maybe it won't be allowed on Youtube soon,
I'm not even sure if I'm technically breaking SESTA/FOSTA right now! I don't really care
if I am though. I'm also going to put some fun stuff up, I'll be introducing you to my
kitten, I'm going to finally put up my hair video, we'll have some fun I promise. It won't
all be dark and dreary, but we do live in some dark times and they have to be acknowledged.
Happy New Year everybody, bye.
