what's up guys and welcome to my youtube channel today you will be learning the
basics about stock market here's the video timeline about each for each topic
that I'm talking about so if you're the first one second one and third one and
there's other three one will be for tomorrow which I will be making a part
two so let's get started the first one what is a stop this is the most basic
question and the most asked question about the stock market
your stock is basically a part of a company which we call it as well
chairs so you buy or when you buy a stock you basically bought up shares so
when we say I'm a shareholder that means I'm holding a part of it companies with
the money that I have exchanged for that company now you say why would the
company we want to sell your stock so well most of the time they need funding
for the new project doesn't matter if it's a big or a small company they don't
want to put more capital from capital means money business more capital to
fund their new business doesn't matter your McDonald's or a small tech company
who's just got started so that's pretty much it
um this is what is these stuff how do you get a stock there are two ways to
get them and the first way which you got used back in the old days which is
buying goods from a stock exchange which is kind of dated
I'm not going to even explain it stock exchange is like a store where you go on
buy stocks uses that the second way which is the most popular and the
easiest way to get it is a is having a brokerage account online you can have it
from each trade each range or creator there's there many of many brokerage
accounts but I just suggest you if you just want to do long term investing just
get it go to your local bank and say I would like to open a brokerage account
especially if you're in Canada because in Canada there isn't a lot of good
brokerage companies that get you a good deal so $10 per commission $30 $30 for
using brokerage account that's pretty much
it's quite cheap not going to cost you a lot if you have the money and you're
going to make a lot of money from because you Canada you don't get taxed
if you're under $20,000 you kind of gifts from the government so thanks to
Canada thank you and also has birthday candle and the third part is how many
kinds of investors are there so in my opinion there are three kind but most of
the people say two but in my opinion so the first time is a day trader which a
day trader is a person it's on it they buy and sell shares every single day so
wasn't the six hours that the market is open they buy and sell their stock under
six hours this is what we call a day trader which they're pretty popular on
YouTube and lead to they show themselves with having to let the crazy lifestyle
um it's just you don't we just need to saved a lot of money which is quite easy
if you have a college degree save all 100 percent of your income with
our investments it's quite a neat not like rocket science so and it basically
day trader makes money by doing this getting small percentage of interest
under money like point Foxton every single day and then when you add up all
that many interests will say many interest and it's going to be like eight
or ten percent and if you have hundred thousand dollars invested ten percent
off five hundred thousand is ten thousand dollars a month so you earn
$10,000 by just trading stuff that's how you do it I'm quite simple but a lot of
people make it confusing the second way is the short term that trough you're
investing starts within a one or two or one six months or even you're holding
that stock so if you hold that stuff for just a year it's your your trader
short-term trader which began quite good in back interest if the markets doing
good you buy this right stock at the right time and that's pretty much it and
this third one which force one actually fourth one is long-term investor the
long-term investor by the shirt doesn't matter what surprise
then I is more like they put home tiles are there they come back two three four
even ten years later and then they put their money back and they kind of get
50% on interested in their money sometimes they lose money if the market
is not gathered a recession or stop they bought one bathroom
hopefully not they would they would lose all the money if the company went back
home or to start to stripe because of some reasons for some reason right so
